Abstract
La presente se refiere a un proceso que comprende las etapas de hacer reaccionar una mezcla de reacción que comprende al menos un componente que contiene silicona, al menos un componente hidrófilo, y al menos un diluyente para formar un dispositivo oftálmico que tiene un ángulo de contacto de avance menor que aproximadamente 80º; y poner en contacto el dispositivo oftálmico con una solución de extracción acuosa a una temperatura de extracción elevada, en donde dicho al menos un diluyente tiene un punto de ebullición de al menos aproximadamente 10º mayor que dicha temperatura de extracción.
