Abstract
La presente se refiere a la composición de óxidos mixtos, a su uso como un catalizador para la escisión de éteres alquilterbutílicos o alcoholes terciarios, y a un proceso para escindir éteres alquilterbutílicos o alcoholes terciarios a isoolefinas y alcohol o agua.Reivindicación 1: Composición de óxido mixto que comprende un polvo de óxido mixto de silicio y aluminio que está presente en forma predominante o completa en la forma de partículas agregadas primarias y en que a) la relación de peso (AI2O3/SiO2)ttl en la partícula primaria total es 0,002 a 0,05, con preferencia 0,003 a 0,015, con más preferencia 0,005 a 0,01, b) la relación de peso (Al2O3/SiO2)superficie de las partículas primarias en una capa cerca de la superficie que tiene un espesor de aproximadamente 5 nm es menor que en la partícula primaria total y c) el área de superficie BET es 50 a 250 m2/g, con preferencia 100 a 200 m2/g; y óxidos de metal alcalino o metal alcalinotérreo.
