esferas flutuantes e sua utilização para formar barreiras de gás em superfícies líquidas. a presente invenção refere-se a um produto para uso na formação de uma barreira de vapor sbre um líquido inflamável compreende uma multiplicidade de esferas com as seguintes características: uma gravidade espesífica inferior a cerca de 0,5; com um diâmetro dentre cerca de 1,6 mm (1/16 de polegada) e cerca de 10,2 cm (4 polegadas); uma camada externa que é oleofóbica, e um suporte para a camada externa que tem uma superfície fenólica.
