Abstract

Se provee un dispositivo para filtrar combustible, en el que se dispone un conjunto de filtrado con primeras capas múltiples de filtros en una senda de flujo de combustible que se extiende desde el interior de un tanque de combustible hasta los medios de consumo del combustible a través de un bomba de combustible, y donde la capa de filtro más fina está dispuesta en la parte de más abajo, en las segundas capas múltiples de filtros, que forman al menos una parte de las primeras capas múltiples, donde se provee una parte que promueve la acumulación (24A) que promueve la acumulación de polvo en el combustible, cambiando la dirección del flujo o la velocidad del flujo del combustible en el conjunto de filtro (20A) de modo que la acumulación de polvo en el combustible se promueve antes de llegar al lado de arriba de al menos la segunda capa de filtro más fina (22A) de las capas de filtro (21A, 22A, 23A) de entre las segundas capas múltiples. Esto permite mejorar la durabilidad del dispositivo para filtrar combustible.
