Abstract

Un aparato y un método para la administracion transdérmica de un agente inmunologicamente activo que comprende un sistema de aplicacion que posee un arreglo de microproyecciones que incluye una pluralidad de microproyecciones adaptadas para perforar a través del estrato corneo e ingresar a la capa epidérmica, o a las capas epidérmica y dérmica, teniendo el arreglo de microproyecciones una pluralidad de regiones del arreglo teniendo cada una de las regiones del arreglo un recubrimiento biocompatible diferente dispuesto sobre las mismas, donde al menos uno de los recubrimientos de las regiones del arreglo incluye un agente inmunologicamente activo. En una realizacion, cada recubrimiento de las regiones del arreglo incluye un agente inmunologicamente activo diferente. En otra realizacion, el recubrimiento biocompatible en una primera region del arreglo incluye un agente inmunologicamente activo y el recubrimiento biocompatible en una segunda region del arreglo incluye un adyuvante para aumentar la respuesta inmune.
