Abstract

Un sistema y un método para entrega y recolección automatizada de paquetes que incluye al menos un portal para paquetes ubicado en un puesto de entrega y recolección para recibir y despachar paquetes desde el puesto. Se acoplan un controlador de puesto con un sistema de ingreso de información y el mecanismo del portal para recibir y despachar paquetes, y se lo dispone para asociar información de identificación del paquete y del destinatario deseado con un paquete recibido. Asimismo se dispone al controlador para procesar información de identificación, que puede incluir información biométrica, a fin de autenticar la identidad de un destinatario deseado, y para permitir despachar el paquete desde el al menos un portal como respuesta a dicha autenticación. El puesto soporta la entrega y la recolección sin supervisión de paquetes a fin de mejorar la eficiencia general de un sistema de entrega de paquetes así como de brindar comodidad y seguridad para el usuario.
