Abstract

Se refiere a la produccion a gran escala de camptotecina, que es el compuesto de partida del hidrocloruro de irinotecan y diversos derivados decamptotecina, a bajo costo y con facilidad. Se provee un procedimiento para preparar camptotecina, que comp rende las siguientes etapas: (a) la etapa dehidrolizar 9-metoxicamptotecina o un material natural que contiene 9-metoxicamptotecina; (b) la etapa de convertir 9-hidroxicamptotecina obtenida en la etapa(a) en camptotecina mediante 9-O-perfluoro-alquil o inferior-sulfonilacion o 9-O-feniltetrazolilacion, seguida de hidrogenolisis.
