Abstract
Description
なお、本発明において着用物品とは、使い捨て着用物品やその一部である吸収物品などの物品が含まれる。
先行のパッドが前記連続体の先端部を受け取って保持しながら搬送する工程と、
後続のパッドが前記先行のパッドに追いつく工程と、
前記先行のパッドおよび後続のパッドの双方に連続体が保持される双方保持工程と、
前記連続体の先端部をカットして前記先行のパッド上に個別のワークを生成するカット工程とを繰り返し実行し、
前記双方保持工程において、前記両パッドの相対速度が互いに等しく、かつ、少なくとも一部区間において両パッドが不等速で回転し、
前記不等速で回転するパッドの速度の変化に合わせて前記連続体が前記フィーダから不等速で供給される。
前記連続体の先端部を受け取って保持しながら搬送する先行のパッドと、
前記先行のパッドに追いつき前記先行のパッドと共に連続体を保持する後続のパッドと、
前記連続体の先端部をカットして前記先行のパッド上に個別のワークを生成するカッタと、
前記先行のパッドおよび後続のパッドの双方が前記連続体を保持している状態において、前記両パッドの相対速度が互いに等しく、かつ、少なくとも一部区間において両パッドが不等速で回転するように各パッドの回転を制御するワーク変速装置と、
前記不等速で回転するパッドの速度の変化に合わせて前記連続体を前記ドラムに不等速で供給するフィーダとを備える。
一方、前記保持工程の少なくとも一部区間において両パッドが不等速で回転し、このパッドの速度の変化に合せて連続体がフィーダから不等速で供給されるから、連続体を供給し始めた時点からパッドの変速が可能となる。そのため、一定速度の区間を短くでき、ドラムの径を大きくすることなく、隣り合うワークのピッチを大きくすることができる。
図3Bは、本発明の一実施形態にかかるドラム等の概略正面図である。
図3Bに示すように、製造装置は、連続した連続ウェブWの先端部W1を受取位置RPにおいて受け取り、受取位置RPの下流の切断位置CPにおいて、連続ウェブWを切断する。更に、ワーク搬送装置1は、連続ウェブWが切断されて形成された切断ウェブ(ワークの一例)W2の姿勢を図3Aに示すパッドPi の姿勢変更により変更させながら、図3Bの切断ウェブW2を下流の配置ステーションSPまで搬送する。その後、ワーク搬送装置1は、配置ステーションSPにおいて図3Bの連続吸収体S上に切断ウェブW2を次々に渡す。
なお、以下の説明において図3BのパッドP1~Pn のうちの1つを指す場合、パッドPi と表記する。
カッタ30は、たとえば、カッタロール32に固定された、少なくとも1つの刃31を有している。複数個の刃31がカッタ30に設けられていてもよい。
各アンビルAi は、前記刃31を受けるものであり、ドラム20の周囲に取り付けられていてもよい。複数個のアンビルAi が、ドラム20の周囲に等角度ピッチで配置されていてもよい。
なお、前記アンビルAi に対するパッドPi の径方向の相対変位は、前記案内手段21の他に、たとえば、エアシリンダやモータにより、パッドPi をドラム20の径方向に移動させることで実現されてもよい。
図3Aに示すように、パッドPi は切断位置CPを通過した後、アンビルAi が内方へ向って相対変位した後に、旋回を開始して姿勢変更を開始し、配置ステーションSPに至るまでに所定角度(たとえば、90°)旋回される。したがって、パッドPi 上の切断ウェブW2は、所定の角度だけ旋回された状態(姿勢)で下流の連続吸収体Sに渡される。なお、パッドPi は、図3Bの配置ステーションSPから受取位置RPに至るまで(戻るまで)の間に、所定角度(たとえば、90°)回転され、連続ウェブWを受け取り可能な姿勢となる。
各パッドPi は、受取位置RP、切断位置CPおよび配置ステーションSPにおいては旋回せずに、すなわち、同じ姿勢を保ったまま、第1軸線X1を中心に回転を続ける。
図7A~図7Cにおいて、本着用物品Nは吸収性本体S3の長手方向の両端部に一対のポケット部材Wpが接合された吸収物品であってもよい。この吸収物品は以下のように製造されてもよい。
図2の配置ステーションSPには受け取りロール43が設けられている。配置ステーションSPにおいては連続吸収体Sに対し切断ウェブW2が各着用物品の単位ごとに配置される。
フィーダ4は連続ウェブWを搬送するベルト41を備える。
図3Bに示すように、各パッドPi は加速区間Tαで加速され、減速区間Tβで減速される。また、各パッドPi は低速区間TLにおいて一定の最低速度VMINで移動し、高速区間THにおいて一定の最高速度VMAXで移動する。
図2において、フィーダ4から連続ウェブWが供給され、ドラム20のパッドPiに連続ウェブWの先端部が保持される。連続ウェブWはドラム20のアンビルAiにおいて次々に切断され、切断ウェブW2が生成される。
図5Aのカット時の直前から図5Bの前回のカット後において、ハッチングを施した先行のパッドP1は連続ウェブWの先端部W1を受け取っている。この先行のパッドP1が前回のカット後に減速を続ける一方で、後続のパッドP2も減速しながら次第に先行のパッドP1に追い付く。つまり、両パッドP1,P2は共に減速中であるが、減速区間Tβ(図3B)においては後続のパッドP2の方が先行のパッドP1よりも周速度が大きい。
前記カット後に前記先行のパッドが増速される加速工程を更に備える。
前記カット後に前記後続のパッドが減速される減速工程を更に備える。
前記連続体を吸着搬送するベルトを有し、前記ベルトの運転速度を変化させることで前記連続体の供給速度を変化させるベルトコンベアで構成されている。
前記供給速度を減速させる際に前記連続体を貯留し、前記供給速度を増速させる際に前記貯留した連続体を繰り出すダンサロールを備える。
たとえば、パッドは法線を中心に旋回しなくてもよい。
また、パッドとアンビルは別体である必要はなく、パッドの下流端または上流端にアンビルを一体に設けてもよい。
したがって、そのような変更および修正は、請求の範囲から定まる本発明の範囲内のものと解釈される。

Claims (7)
- 周速度が変速されながら回転する複数のパッドを有するドラムにフィーダから連続体を供給し、前記連続体の先端部を次々にカットして各パッド上において個別のワークを次々に生成し、前記ワークを保持した各パッド間の距離を拡げて隣り同士のワークの間隔を大きくした状態でワークを下流の工程に引き渡す着用物品の製造方法において、
先行のパッドが前記連続体の先端部を受け取って保持しながら搬送する工程と、
後続のパッドが前記先行のパッドに追いつく工程と、
前記先行のパッドおよび後続のパッドの双方に連続体が保持される双方保持工程と、
前記連続体の先端部をカットして前記先行のパッド上に個別のワークを生成するカット工程とを繰り返し実行し、
前記双方保持工程において、前記両パッドの相対速度が互いに等しく、かつ、少なくとも一部区間において両パッドが不等速で回転し、
前記不等速で回転するパッドの速度の変化に合わせて前記連続体が前記フィーダから不等速で供給されることを特徴とする着用物品の製造方法。 - 請求項1において、
前記カットする瞬間において前記両パッドの相対速度は等しく、かつ、前記両パッドが等速度で回転し、
前記カット後に前記先行のパッドが増速される加速工程を更に備える、着用物品の製造方法。 - 請求項1において、
前記カットする瞬間において前記両パッドの相対速度は等しく、かつ、前記両パッドが等速度で回転し、
前記カット後に前記後続のパッドが減速される減速工程を更に備える、着用物品の製造方法。 - 周速度が変速されながら回転する複数のパッドを有するドラムに連続体を供給し、前記連続体の先端部を次々にカットして各パッド上において個別のワークを次々に生成し、前記ワークを保持した各パッド間の距離を拡げて隣り同士のワークの間隔を大きくした状態でワークを下流の工程に引き渡す着用物品の製造装置において、
前記連続体の先端部を受け取って保持しながら搬送する先行のパッドと、
前記先行のパッドに追いつき前記先行のパッドと共に連続体を保持する後続のパッドと、
前記連続体の先端部をカットして前記先行のパッド上に個別のワークを生成するカッタと、
前記先行のパッドおよび後続のパッドの双方が前記連続体を保持している状態において、前記両パッドの相対速度が互いに等しく、かつ、少なくとも一部区間において両パッドが不等速で回転するように各パッドの回転を制御するワーク変速装置と、
前記不等速で回転するパッドの速度の変化に合わせて前記連続体を前記ドラムに不等速で供給するフィーダとを備える、着用物品の製造装置。 - 請求項4において、前記フィーダは、
前記連続体を吸着搬送するベルトを有し、前記ベルトの運転速度を変化させることで前記連続体の供給速度を変化させるベルトコンベアで構成されている、着用物品の製造装置。 - 請求項5において、
前記ベルトコンベアの上流には、前記運転速度の変化に合わせて、前記連続体の供給速度の変化を吸収する吸収機構を備える、着用物品の製造装置。 - 請求項6において、前記吸収機構は、
前記供給速度を減速させる際に前記連続体を貯留し、前記供給速度を増速させる際に前記貯留した連続体を繰り出すダンサロールを備える、着用物品の製造装置。
