Abstract
Description
型締装置および射出装置の保守作業を行う場合、安全扉をスライドさせて、開口部を開くことにより、カバーの内側に配置される型締装置または射出装置の一部を外部に露出させる。
また、開口部の幅寸法を大きく設定すると、開口部の幅寸法に合わせて安全扉も大きくしなければならず、安全扉の操作性が悪化する。
したがって、安全扉の大型化を防止しつつ、保守作業の容易性の向上を図ることが望まれている。
本実施形態に係る射出成形機1は、図1に示されるように、型締ユニット10と、射出ユニット20と、型締ユニット10および射出ユニット20を全周にわたって取り囲む安全カバー100とを備えている。
型締ユニット10、射出ユニット20および安全カバー100は、水平な床面に設置されたベース2上にそれぞれ固定されている。
射出ユニット20は、成形材料を溶融するシリンダと、溶融された成形材料を金型に射出するノズルと、成形材料をシリンダに供給する供給装置とを備えている。
安全ドア240は、レール250,251上を転がる図示しないローラによって、レール250,251の長手方向に沿って移動可能に支持されている。
着脱パネル260には、図2および図4に示されるように、第1部分231を塞ぐ位置に取り付けられた状態で、レール251上に配置される第1ストッパ270を備えている。
第1ストッパ270は、開口部230の第2部分232を全開にする位置まで移動した安全ドア240が突き当てられることによって、安全ドア240のそれ以上の開方向への移動を規制する。
一方、着脱パネル260を取り外すと、着脱パネル260とともに第1ストッパ270がレール251上から取り外されるので、安全ドア240は、第2部分232を全開にする位置を超えてさらに移動できる状態になる。
第2ストッパ271は、着脱パネル260が取り外された状態において、開口部230が全開となる位置まで移動した安全ドア240が突き当てられることにより、安全ドア240のそれ以上の開方向への移動を規制する。
すなわち、着脱パネル260が取り外された状態では、安全ドア240は、開口部230を全開にする位置において、第2ストッパ271により、それ以上の開動作を規制される。
射出成形機1により射出成形を実施する場合には、安全カバー100の開口部230の第1部分231に着脱パネル260を取り付ける。そして、安全ドア140により開口部130を閉塞し、安全ドア240により開口部230の第2部分232を閉塞する。これにより、図1に示されるように、型締ユニット10および射出ユニット20の外周が全周にわたって安全カバー100により取り囲まれる。
このとき、射出ユニット20を旋回させるにあたって、障害となる固定パネル120がある場合は、それらを取り外してもよい。
これにより、両ストッパ270,271との衝突に対する補強箇所を限定することができ、安全ドア240の構造を簡易にできるという利点がある。
したがって、作業者が誤って、第1ストッパ270または第2ストッパ271を取り外してしまうことを防止できるという利点もある。
したがって、安全ドア140の操作性悪化の防止と、型締ユニット10に対する保守の作業性の改善との両立を図ることができる。
したがって、開口部230の開口される範囲を、射出ユニット20に対する作業の内容に応じて調整することができ、射出ユニット20の保守時の作業効率をより向上することができるという利点がある。
その場合にも、両ストッパ270,271を作業者が容易に触れることができない位置に設定することにより、作業者が誤って、両ストッパ270,271を取り外してしまうことを防止することができる。

Claims (5)
- 金型を開閉する型締ユニットと、
前記金型に成形材料を射出する射出ユニットと、
前記型締ユニットおよび前記射出ユニットを取り囲む安全カバーとを備え、
該安全カバーが、前記型締ユニットおよび前記射出ユニットの少なくとも一方を外部に露出させる開口部に着脱可能に取り付けられ、該開口部の幅方向の一部である第1部分を塞ぐ着脱パネルと、前記開口部の幅方向に沿って前記開口部の残りの第2部分を塞ぐ位置と前記開口部から外れる位置との間で移動可能に支持され、前記開口部よりも小さく前記第2部分よりも大きい扉部とを備え、
前記着脱パネルが、前記第2部分のみが開かれた位置において、前記扉部を突き当てることにより、前記扉部の開方向への移動を規制する第1ストッパを有し、
前記安全カバーに、前記着脱パネルが取り外された状態において、前記第1部分および前記第2部分が開かれた位置において、前記扉部を突き当てることにより、前記扉部の前記開方向への移動を規制する第2ストッパが設けられている射出成形機。 - 前記開口部が、前記射出ユニットを外部に露出させる位置に設けられる請求項1に記載の射出成形機。
- 前記開口部が、前記型締ユニットを外部に露出させる位置に設けられる請求項1に記載の射出成形機。
- 前記着脱パネルが取り付けられた状態で、前記第1ストッパと前記第2ストッパとが、前記開口部の幅方向に延びる同一直線上に配置される請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載の射出成形機。
- 前記着脱パネルが複数備えられている請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載の射出成形機。
