 一般にパージソレノイドバルブは、エンジンの近傍に配置されるため、エンジンルーム内に備えられる。近年、エンジンルームの容積が小さくなるに連れて、パージソレノイドバルブについても、小型にすることが望まれている。
 従来のパージソレノイドバルブは、複数のチャンバ室を設けることにより、流路の開閉の際に生じる脈動の低減率の向上を可能にする一方、大型なものになってしまうという問題点があった。
 この開示は、上述の問題点を解決するためのもので、同一の容量を有するチャンバ室を備えた従来のパージソレノイドバルブと比較して、流路の開閉の際に生じる脈動の低減率を向上可能にするパージソレノイドバルブを提供することを目的としている。
 この開示に係るパージソレノイドバルブは、デューティ駆動するパージソレノイドバルブであって、キャニスタからエンジンに至る流路を開閉する弁体と、弁体に対してキャニスタ側の流路に設けられたチャンバ室と、チャンバ室を流路とエアダンパ室とに仕切るダンパであって、弾性体により形成されたダンパと、を備えたものである。
 この開示によれば、同一の容量を有するチャンバ室を備えた従来のパージソレノイドバルブと比較して、流路の開閉の際に生じる脈動の低減率を向上することができる。

 以下、この開示の実施の形態について、図面を参照しながら詳細に説明する。
実施の形態1.
 図1から図6を参照して、実施の形態1に係るパージソレノイドバルブ100について説明する。
 図1は、実施の形態1に係るパージソレノイドバルブ100が適用されたパージシステム1の要部の構成の一例を示す構成図である。
 パージシステム1は、燃料タンク10、キャニスタ20、パージソレノイドバルブ100、インテークマニホールド30、及びエンジン40を備える。
 パージシステム1は、燃料タンク10に燃料を補給する際に、燃料タンク10内に蒸発した燃料蒸気が、不図示の給油口を介して外気に流出するのを抑制するためのものである。
 キャニスタ20は、燃料蒸気を吸着する活性炭を内蔵する。
 キャニスタ20は、配管を介して燃料タンク10の上部と接続され、燃料タンク10内に蒸発した燃料蒸気を吸着する。
 パージソレノイドバルブ100は、不図示のデューティ駆動制御ECU(Electronic Control Unit)が出力したデューティ駆動信号に基づいて、パージソレノイドバルブ100が備えるソレノイドアクチュエータ110が動作することにより、パージソレノイドバルブ100が備える弁体140の開閉を行う。パージソレノイドバルブ100は、エンジン40とキャニスタ20との間に配置される。より具体的には、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、エンジン40に燃料と空気との混合ガスを供給するインテークマニホールド30と、キャニスタ20との間に配置される。
 パージソレノイドバルブ100が備える弁体140が開弁されている状態では、エンジン40の負圧によりキャニスタ20に吸着されている燃料蒸気が、パージソレノイドバルブ100内の流路を介してインテークマニホールド30に供給される。
 パージソレノイドバルブ100内の流路を介してインテークマニホールド30に供給された燃料蒸気は、インテークマニホールド30を介してエンジン40に供給され、エンジン40において当該燃料蒸気が燃料されて消費される。
 図2は、実施の形態1に係るパージソレノイドバルブ100の要部の構成の一例を示す構成図である。
 パージソレノイドバルブ100は、ソレノイドアクチュエータ110、ハウジング120、蓋130、弁体140、キャニスタ配管150、インテークマニホールド配管160、チャンバ室170、ダンパ180、及びエアダンパ室171を備える。
 ソレノイドアクチュエータ110は、デューティ駆動制御ECUが出力したデューティ駆動信号を受けて弁体140を開閉する。
 弁体140は、ハウジング120内において、キャニスタ20からエンジン40に至る流路を開閉する。
 キャニスタ配管150は、一端がハウジング120に接続され、他端がキャニスタ20に接続された配管であって、キャニスタ20に吸着された燃料蒸気をハウジング120内に導く配管である。
 インテークマニホールド配管160は、一端がハウジング120に接続され、他端がインテークマニホールド30に接続された配管であって、ハウジング120内の燃料蒸気をインテークマニホールド30に導く配管である。
 なお、図2は、弁体140の弁軸、キャニスタ配管150の管軸、及び、インテークマニホールド配管160の管軸を含む平面で、パージソレノイドバルブ100を切断した際のパージソレノイドバルブ100の断面図である。
 ハウジング120は、パージソレノイドバルブ100の筐体である。弁体140が開弁されている状態において、キャニスタ配管150から流入した燃料蒸気をインテークマニホールド配管160に導く流路を形成する。
 蓋130は、ハウジング120の開口部を塞ぐ部材である。例えば、ハウジング120から蓋130を取り外すことにより、ハウジング120内の点検等の作業を容易に行うことができる。
 チャンバ室170は、弁体140に対してキャニスタ20側の流路に設けられた空間である。具体的には、例えば、チャンバ室170は、ハウジング120、蓋130、及び弁体140により形成される。
 パージソレノイドバルブ100は、弁体140に対してキャニスタ20側の流路にチャンバ室170が設けられていることにより、脈動の発生を抑制することができる。
 パージソレノイドバルブ100は、チャンバ室170内にエアダンパ室171を備える。
 ダンパ180は、チャンバ室170を流路とエアダンパ室171とに仕切る部材である。すなわち、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、チャンバ室170内に、ダンパ180により仕切られたエアダンパ室171を備える。
 例えば、ダンパ180は、弾力性のある弾性体により形成される。
 以上のように構成することにより、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、脈動の発生の要因であるチャンバ室170内の気体の圧力変化をエアダンパ室171が吸収するため、同一の容量を有するチャンバ室170を備えた従来のパージソレノイドバルブと比較して、流路の開閉の際に生じる脈動の低減率を向上することができる。
 ダンパ180は、ゴム素材により形成される。
 脈動は、弁体140が流路を開閉する際のチャンバ室170内の圧力変化により生じる。チャンバ室170内の圧力変化が大きい場合に脈動は大きくなり、チャンバ室170内の圧力変化が小さい場合に脈動は小さくなる。
 図3は、実施の形態1に係るパージソレノイドバルブ100におけるチャンバ室170内の圧力変化と、従来のパージソレノイドバルブにおけるチャンバ室内の圧力変化との一例を示す説明図である。
 図3に示すとおり、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、チャンバ室の容量が同一である従来のパージソレノイドバルブと比較して、チャンバ室170内の圧力変化を抑制することができる。結果として、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、従来のパージソレノイドバルブと比較して、脈動を低減させることができる。
 具体的には、例えば、図2に示すように、エアダンパ室171は、チャンバ室170を形成する部位の一部と、ダンパ180とにより囲まれたチャンバ室170内の空間である。
 より具体的には、例えば、図2に示すように、エアダンパ室171は、チャンバ室170を形成する蓋130と、ダンパ180とにより囲まれたチャンバ室170内の空間である。
 例えば、図2に示すパージソレノイドバルブ100は、ダンパ180は、蓋130に固定されている。図2に示すパージソレノイドバルブ100は、ダンパ180を固定した蓋130がハウジング120に取り付けられることにより、チャンバ室170内が流路とエアダンパ室171とに仕切られた構造となる。
 図2に示すダンパ180及びエアダンパ室171の形状は、一例であり、ダンパ180及びエアダンパ室171の形状は、図2に示す形状に限定されるものではない。
 図4A、図4B、及び図4Cは、実施の形態1に係るパージソレノイドバルブ100が備えるダンパ180及びエアダンパ室171の形状の他の一例を示す説明図である。
 なお、図4A、図4B、及び図4Cは、図2と同様の平面で切断した断面図である。
 図4A、図4B、及び図4Cに示すダンパ180は、何れも、蓋130に固定されている。パージソレノイドバルブ100は、図4A、図4B、又は図4Cに示すダンパ180を固定した蓋130がハウジング120に取り付けられることにより、チャンバ室170内が流路とエアダンパ室171とに仕切られた構造となる。
 図5は、実施の形態1に係るパージソレノイドバルブ100が備えるダンパ180及びエアダンパ室171の形状の他の一例を示す説明図である。
 なお、図5は、図2と同様の平面で切断した断面図である。
 図5に示すダンパ180は、蓋130とハウジング120とに挟持されることにより固定されている。図5に示すパージソレノイドバルブ100は、蓋130とハウジング120とがダンパ180を挟んだ状態で蓋130が取り付けられることにより、チャンバ室170内が流路とエアダンパ室171とに仕切られた構造となる。
 パージソレノイドバルブ100は、複数の支柱181を備えるものであってもよい。
 ダンパ180は、複数の支柱181の周りを囲んで配置される。
 図6A及び図6Dは、実施の形態1に係るパージソレノイドバルブ100が備えるダンパ180、支柱181、及びエアダンパ室171の形状の一例を示す説明図である。
 なお、図6A及び図6Dは、図2と同様の平面で切断した断面図である。
 図6Bは、図6Aに示すX-X´平面における断面の一例を示す断面図である。
 図6Cは、図6Aに示すX-X´平面における断面の他の一例を示す断面図である。
 図6Eは、図6Dに示すX-X´平面における断面の一例を示す断面図である。
 図6Fは、図6Dに示すX-X´平面における断面の他の一例を示す断面図である。
 図6A及び図6B若しくは図6C、又は、図6D及び図6E若しくは図6Fに示すように、複数の支柱181の周りを囲むようにダンパ180を配置することにより、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、エアダンパ室171の形状を保つことができる。
 図6A及び図6B若しくは図6C、又は、図6D及び図6E若しくは図6Fに示す複数の支柱181のそれぞれは、一端が蓋130に固定されている。
 例えば、支柱181は、蓋130と一体形成される。支柱181が蓋130と一体形成される場合、支柱181は、鉄、アルミニウム、若しくはステンレス等の金属、又は、熱可塑性樹脂等の素材により形成される。
 なお、図6A及び図6B若しくは図6C、又は、図6D及び図6E若しくは図6Fに示す複数の支柱181は、一例であり、複数の支柱181のそれぞれは、ハウジング120に固定されるものであってもよい。
 また、支柱181の形状は、エアダンパ室171の形状を保つように形成された形状であれば任意である。
 以上のように構成することにより、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、エアダンパ室171の形状を保ちつつ、同一の容量を有するチャンバ室170を備えた従来のパージソレノイドバルブと比較して、流路の開閉の際に生じる脈動の低減率を向上することができる。
 以上のように、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、デューティ駆動するパージソレノイドバルブ100であって、キャニスタ20からエンジン40に至る流路を開閉する弁体140と、弁体140に対してキャニスタ20側の流路に設けられたチャンバ室170と、チャンバ室170を流路とエアダンパ室171とに仕切るダンパ180であって、弾力性のある弾性体により形成されたダンパ180と、を備えた。
 このように構成することにより、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、同一の容量を有するチャンバ室170を備えた従来のパージソレノイドバルブと比較して、流路の開閉の際に生じる脈動の低減率を向上することができる。
 また、以上のように、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、上述の構成において、ダンパ180を形成する弾性体を、ゴム素材により構成した。
 このように構成することにより、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、同一の容量を有するチャンバ室170を備えた従来のパージソレノイドバルブと比較して、流路の開閉の際に生じる脈動の低減率を向上することができる。
 また、以上のように、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、上述の構成において、エアダンパ室171を、チャンバ室170を形成する部位の一部と、ダンパ180とにより囲まれたチャンバ室170内の空間として構成した。
 このように構成することにより、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、同一の容量を有するチャンバ室170を備えた従来のパージソレノイドバルブと比較して、流路の開閉の際に生じる脈動の低減率を向上することができる。
 また、以上のように、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、上述の構成において、チャンバ室170は、流路を形成するハウジング120と、ハウジング120の開口部を塞ぐ蓋130とにより形成され、エアダンパ室171を、チャンバ室170を形成する蓋130と、ダンパ180とにより囲まれたチャンバ室170内の空間として構成した。
 このように構成することにより、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、ハウジング120内の点検等の作業を容易にしつつ、同一の容量を有するチャンバ室170を備えた従来のパージソレノイドバルブと比較して、流路の開閉の際に生じる脈動の低減率を向上することができる。
 また、以上のように、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、上述の構成において、ダンパ180は、蓋130に固定されるように構成した。
 このように構成することにより、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、ハウジング120内の点検等の作業を容易にしつつ、同一の容量を有するチャンバ室170を備えた従来のパージソレノイドバルブと比較して、流路の開閉の際に生じる脈動の低減率を向上することができる。
 また、以上のように、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、上述の構成において、ダンパ180は、蓋130とハウジング120とに挟持されることにより固定されるように構成した。
 このように構成することにより、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、ハウジング120内の点検等の作業を容易にしつつ、同一の容量を有するチャンバ室170を備えた従来のパージソレノイドバルブと比較して、流路の開閉の際に生じる脈動の低減率を向上することができる。
 また、このように構成することにより、パージソレノイドバルブ100は、ダンパ180が劣化した際に、ダンパ180のみを交換することができる。
実施の形態2.
 図7及び図8を参照して、実施の形態2に係るパージソレノイドバルブ100aについて説明する。
 図7は、実施の形態2に係るパージソレノイドバルブ100aの要部の構成の一例を示す構成図である。
 図8は、図7に示すパージソレノイドバルブ100aを分解した状態の一例を示す分解図である。
 なお、図7及び図8は、図2と同様の平面で切断した断面図である。
 パージソレノイドバルブ100aは、ソレノイドアクチュエータ110、ハウジング120、蓋130、弁体140、キャニスタ配管150、インテークマニホールド配管160、チャンバ室170、ダンパ180、エアフィルタ190、及びエアダンパ室171を備える。
 パージソレノイドバルブ100aが備えるソレノイドアクチュエータ110、ハウジング120、蓋130、弁体140、キャニスタ配管150、インテークマニホールド配管160、チャンバ室170、及びエアダンパ室171は、実施の形態1に示すパージソレノイドバルブ100が備えるソレノイドアクチュエータ110、ハウジング120、蓋130、弁体140、キャニスタ配管150、インテークマニホールド配管160、チャンバ室170、及びエアダンパ室171と同様のものであるため、説明を省略する。
 エアフィルタ190は、キャニスタ配管150から流入した燃料蒸気に混在する粉塵を除去するフィルタである。
 エアフィルタ190は、図7に示すように、例えば、チャンバ室170内に配置される。
 従来のパージソレノイドバルブにも、パージソレノイドバルブ100aが備えるエアフィルタ190と同様のエアフィルタ190を備えるものがある。
 図9は、従来のパージソレノイドバルブの構成の一例を示す構成図である。
 なお、図9は、図2と同様の平面で切断した断面図である。
 エアフィルタ190は、粉塵により目詰まりすることがあるため、エアフィルタ190は、従来のパージソレノイドバルブにおいて、交換可能に配置されている。具体的には、例えば、従来のパージソレノイドバルブは、ハウジングの開口部を塞ぐ蓋に一端が固定されたバネを備え、エアフィルタ190は、バネの反発力によりハウジングに押し当てられた状態で固定される。
 図7及び図8に示すパージソレノイドバルブ100aは、蓋130がハウジング120に取り付けられた状態において、ダンパ180がエアフィルタ190に当接するものである。エアフィルタ190は、当該状態において、ダンパ180とハウジング120とに挟持されることにより固定される。
 また、図7及び図8に示すパージソレノイドバルブ100aは、蓋130がハウジング120から取り外された状態において、チャンバ室170内のエアフィルタ190を点検又は交換等の作業を行うことが可能なものである。
 以上のように構成することにより、パージソレノイドバルブ100aは、従来のパージソレノイドバルブが備えるチャンバ室170内に配置されたエアフィルタ190を固定するためのバネを不要にしつつ、同一の容量を有するチャンバ室170を備えた従来のパージソレノイドバルブと比較して、流路の開閉の際に生じる脈動の低減率を向上することができる。
 なお、図7及び図8に示すパージソレノイドバルブ100aが備えるダンパ180及びエアダンパ室171の形状は、一例であり、ダンパ180及びエアダンパ室171の形状は、図7及び図8に示す形状に限定されるものではない。
 例えば、パージソレノイドバルブ100aが備えるダンパ180及びエアダンパ室171の形状は、エアフィルタ190がダンパ180とハウジング120とにより挟持される形状であれば、図4Cに示す形状、図5に示す形状、図6A及び図6B若しくは図6C、又は、図6D及び図6E若しくは図6Fに示す形状等であってもよい。
 特に、図6A及び図6B若しくは図6C、又は、図6D及び図6E若しくは図6Fに示すように、パージソレノイドバルブ100aが支柱181を備える場合、エアフィルタ190は、ダンパ180とハウジング120とにより挟持されるだけでなく、支柱181とハウジング120とにもより挟持されるため、弁体140が開閉した際に、エアフィルタ190がずれてしまうことを抑制することができる。
 なお、この開示は、その開示の範囲内において、各実施の形態の自由な組み合わせ、あるいは各実施の形態の任意の構成要素の変形、もしくは各実施の形態において任意の構成要素の省略が可能である。
 この開示に係るパージソレノイドバルブは、パージシステムに適用することができる。
 1 パージシステム、10 燃料タンク、20 キャニスタ、30 インテークマニホールド、40 エンジン、100 パージソレノイドバルブ、100a パージソレノイドバルブ、110 ソレノイドアクチュエータ、120 ハウジング、130 蓋、140 弁体、150 キャニスタ配管、160 インテークマニホールド配管、170 チャンバ室、171 エアダンパ室、180 ダンパ、181 支柱、190 エアフィルタ。

Claims (7)

  1.  デューティ駆動するパージソレノイドバルブであって、
     キャニスタからエンジンに至る流路を開閉する弁体と、
     前記弁体に対して前記キャニスタ側の前記流路に設けられたチャンバ室と、
     前記チャンバ室を前記流路とエアダンパ室とに仕切るダンパであって、弾力性のある弾性体により形成されたダンパと、
     を備えたこと
     を特徴とするパージソレノイドバルブ。
  2.  前記ダンパを形成する前記弾性体は、ゴム素材であること
     を特徴とする請求項1記載のパージソレノイドバルブ。
  3.  前記エアダンパ室は、前記チャンバ室を形成する部位の一部と、前記ダンパとにより囲まれた前記チャンバ室内の空間であること
     を特徴とする請求項1記載のパージソレノイドバルブ。
  4.  前記チャンバ室は、前記流路を形成するハウジングと、ハウジングの開口部を塞ぐ蓋とにより形成され、
     前記エアダンパ室は、前記チャンバ室を形成する前記蓋と、前記ダンパとにより囲まれた前記チャンバ室内の空間であること
     を特徴とする請求項3記載のパージソレノイドバルブ。
  5.  前記ダンパは、前記蓋に固定されること
     を特徴とする請求項4記載のパージソレノイドバルブ。
  6.  前記ダンパは、前記蓋と前記ハウジングとに挟持されることにより固定されること
     を特徴とする請求項4記載のパージソレノイドバルブ。
  7.  粉塵を除去するエアフィルタ
     を備え、
     前記エアフィルタは、前記ダンパと前記ハウジングとに挟持されることにより固定されること
     を特徴とする請求項1記載のパージソレノイドバルブ。
