显示面板及其制备方法、显示装置 技术领域
本发明涉及显示器领域,特别涉及一种显示面板及其制备方法、显示装置。
背景技术
由于OLED Display具有轻薄、可弯曲、可折叠等优点,可被用于可折叠手机、智能手表以及车载显示器等柔性显示产品。
如图1所示,给出了现有技术的柔性可折叠显示模组展平状态的示意图,包括显示区100及弯折区200,弯折区200包括覆晶薄膜及柔性线路板。目前可折叠显示模组因面板需预留较宽的边框(border),搭配上盖板(Cover Window)后模组边框较宽,导致可折叠显示产品边框较大,影响用户的视觉体验。
技术问题
本发明的目的在于,解决现有的显示装置边框宽,进而影响用户视觉体验的技术问题。
技术解决方案
为实现上述目的,本发明提供一种显示面板,包括:显示区;弯折区,连接至所述显示区的任一侧边,且被弯折至所述显示区的背面;以及覆晶薄膜,连接至弯折区。
进一步地,所述显示区包括:相互平行的第一侧边及第二侧边;以及相互平行的第三侧边及第四侧边。

图2为所述显示面板弯折之前的结构示意图,图3为所述显示面板弯折后的正视图,图4为所述显示面板弯折后的背面结构示意图。
显示区1包括首尾相接的第一侧边11、第三侧边13、第二侧边12及第四侧边14,在本实施例中,呈顺时针排列。第一侧边11与第二侧边12相互平行,第三侧边13与第四侧边14相互平行。
弯折区2包括第一弯折部21、第二弯折部22、第三弯折部23及第四弯折部24。
第一弯折部21在第一侧边11处被弯折至显示区1的背面,第二弯折部22在第二侧边12处被弯折至显示区1的背面,第三弯折部23在第三侧边13处被弯折至显示区1的背面,第四弯折部24在第四侧边14处被弯折至显示区1的背面。
第一弯折部21的长度与显示区1的长度相同,第二弯折部22的长度与显示区1的长度相同,第三弯折部23的长度与显示区1的宽度相同,第四弯折部24的长度与显示区1的宽度相同。
弯折后的显示区1为有效显示区,由于部分显示区被弯折至背面,所以原有的显示区的边框也被弯折至显示区的背面,使得显示装置的正面无边框,在视觉上可实现无边框的效果,提高显示装置的屏占比,可进一步提高用户使用时的视觉体验。
弯折部的宽度越小越好,在本实施例中,优选地,第一弯折部21的宽度为0.3mm~1mm,第二弯折部22的宽度为0.3mm~1mm,第三弯折部23的宽度为0.3mm~1mm,第四弯折部24的宽度为0.3mm~1mm。
将显示装置的像素驱动电流调节至零,使得任一弯折部显示为黑色,即相当于被弯折到显示区1背面的弯折部不显示。
在弯折过程中,任一弯折部有部分为曲面,所述曲面的半径为1.5mm,所述曲面可用以显示,相当于具有曲面屏的显示装置,如现有的曲面屏手机等。
覆晶薄膜3连接至第四弯折部24,覆晶薄膜3上设有柔性线路板4,在第四弯折部24被弯折时,覆晶薄膜3与柔性线路板4一起被弯折至显示区1的背面。
在显示区1的上方覆盖一层盖板(cover window),所述盖板无需印刷油墨,用以提高显示装置的整体强度,使得显示面板更易粘合至显示装置的其他部件,所述盖板不存在现有技术中的可视区(VA区),使得显示装置的正面无边框,在视觉上形成无边框的效果,提高显示装置的屏占比,可进一步提高用户的视觉体验。
本实施例所述的显示装置的技术效果在于,将显示区部分地弯折至背面,使得显示装置的正面均为有效显示区,实现无边框的视觉效果。
如图5所示,本实施例还提供一种显示面板的制备方法,包括步骤S1~S2。
S1 面板提供步骤,提供一面板,所述面板包括首尾相接的第一侧边第三侧边、第二侧边及第四侧边,所述第四侧边处连接有覆晶薄膜及柔性线路板。所述面板为异形结构,在其任一侧边处均设有一突出部,其中,所述第一侧边处的第一突出部的长度与所述第一侧边的长度相同,所述第二侧边处的第二突出部的长度与所述第二侧边的长度相同,所述第三侧边处的第三突出部的长度与所述第三侧边的长度相同,所述第四侧边处的第四突出部的长度与所述第四侧边的长度相同。
S2 弯折步骤,弯折所述突出部,形成弯折区。
如图6所示,所述弯折步骤包括步骤S21~S24。
S21 第一弯折步骤,弯折所述面板的第一突出部,使其被固定至所述面板的背部,形成第一弯折部。
S22 第二弯折步骤,弯折所述面板的第二突出部,使其被固定至所述面板的背部,形成第二弯折部。
S23 第三弯折步骤,弯折所述面板的第三突出部,使其被固定至所述面板的背部,形成第三弯折部。
S24 第四弯折步骤,弯折所述面板的第四突出部,使其被固定至所述面板的背部,形成第四弯折部,同时,设于所述第四弯折部上的覆晶薄膜与柔性线路板也被弯折至所述面板的背面。此时,未被弯折的面板即为显示区,用以正常显示。
可通过调节显示装置的像素驱动电流至零,使得任一弯折部在所述背面显示为黑色,相当于不显示。
可在所述显示区的上方覆盖一层盖板(cover window),所述盖板无需印刷油墨,用以提高显示装置的整体强度,使得显示面板更易粘合至显示装置的其他部件,所述盖板不存在现有技术中的可视区(VA区),使得显示装置的正面无边框,在视觉上形成无边框的效果,提高显示装置的屏占比,可进一步提高用户的视觉体验。
本实施例所述显示面板的制备方法的技术效果在于,将显示区部分地弯折至背面,使得显示装置的正面均为有效显示区,实现无边框的视觉效果。
实施例2
本实施例提供一种显示装置,所述显示装置包括如图7所示的显示面板,所述显示面板包括显示区1、弯折区2、覆晶薄膜3及柔性线路板4。
显示区1包括首尾相接的第一侧边11、第三侧边13、第二侧边12及第四侧边14,在本实施例中,呈顺时针排列。第一侧边11与第二侧边12相互平行,第三侧边13与第四侧边14相互平行。
弯折区2包括第一弯折部21、第二弯折部22、第三弯折部23及第四弯折部24。
第一弯折部21在第一侧边11处被弯折至显示区1的背面,第二弯折部22在第二侧边12处被弯折至显示区1的背面,第三弯折部23在第三侧边13处被弯折至显示区1的背面,第四弯折部24在第四侧边14处被弯折至显示区1的背面。
第一弯折部21的长度与显示区1的长度相同,第二弯折部22的长度与显示区1的长度相同,第三弯折部23的长度与显示区1的宽度相同,第四弯折部24的长度与显示区1的宽度相同。
第一弯折部21上设有第一凹槽211,第一凹槽211的形状不限定,在本实施例中,优选为规律排列的矩形槽,开设第一凹槽211用以缓解第一弯折部21弯折时的应力,防止弯折时出现断裂等现象,提升显示装置的可弯折性。
第二弯折部22上设有第二凹槽221,第二凹槽221的形状不限定,在本实施例中,优选为规律排列的矩形槽,开设第二凹槽221用以缓解第二弯折部22弯折时的应力,防止弯折时出现断裂等现象,提升显示装置的可弯折性。
在其他实施例中,凹槽的形状可为梯形(参见图8)、三角形(参见图9)或是不规律排列的矩形(参见图10)。不同的凹槽形状意味着显示区的边缘也会相应的不一样。
弯折后的显示区1为有效显示区,由于部分显示区被弯折至背面,所以原有的显示区的边框也被弯折至显示区的背面,使得显示装置的正面无边框,在视觉上可实现无边框的效果,提高显示装置的屏占比,可进一步提高用户使用时的视觉体验。
弯折部的宽度越小越好,在本实施例中,优选地,第一弯折部21的宽度为0.3mm~1mm,第二弯折部22的宽度为0.3mm~1mm,第三弯折部23的宽度为0.3mm~1mm,第四弯折部24的宽度为0.3mm~1mm。
将显示装置的像素驱动电流调节至零,使得任一弯折部显示为黑色,即相当于被弯折到显示区1背面的弯折部不显示。
在弯折过程中,任一弯折部有部分为曲面,所述曲面的半径为1.5mm,所述曲面可用以显示,相当于具有曲面屏的显示装置,如现有的曲面屏手机等。
覆晶薄膜3连接至第四弯折部24,覆晶薄膜3上设有柔性线路板4,在第四弯折部24被弯折时,覆晶薄膜3与柔性线路板4一起被弯折至显示区1的背面。
在显示区1的上方覆盖一层盖板(cover window),所述盖板无需印刷油墨,用以提高显示装置的整体强度,使得显示面板更易粘合至显示装置的其他部件,所述盖板不存在现有技术中的可视区(VA区),使得显示装置的正面无边框,在视觉上形成无边框的效果,提高显示装置的屏占比,可进一步提高用户的视觉体验。
本实施例所述的显示装置的技术效果在于,将显示区部分地弯折至背面,使得显示装置的正面均为有效显示区,实现无边框的视觉效果。在部分弯折部上开槽,可在弯折部弯折时缓解应力,提升显示装置的可弯折性。
如图5所示,本实施例还提供一种显示面板的制备方法,包括步骤S1~S2。
S1 面板提供步骤,提供一面板,所述面板包括首尾相接的第一侧边第三侧边、第二侧边及第四侧边,所述第四侧边处连接有覆晶薄膜及柔性线路板。
所述面板为异形结构,在其任一侧边处均设有一突出部,其中,所述第一侧边处的第一突出部的长度与所述第一侧边的长度相同,所述第二侧边处的第二突出部的长度与所述第二侧边的长度相同,所述第三侧边处的第三突出部的长度与所述第三侧边的长度相同,所述第四侧边处的第四突出部的长度与所述第四侧边的长度相同。
所述面板提供步骤还包括开槽步骤,在所述开槽步骤中,在所述面板的第一突出部开设第一凹槽,在所述第二突出部上开设第二凹槽,所述第一凹槽的形状可为规律排列的矩形、梯形、三角形或不规律排列矩形中的任一种,所述第二凹槽的形状可为规律排列的矩形、梯形、三角形或不规律排列矩形中的任一种。
S2 弯折步骤,弯折所述突出部,形成弯折区。
如图6所示,所述弯折步骤包括步骤S21~S24。
S21 第一弯折步骤,弯折所述面板的第一突出部,使其被固定至所述面板的背部,形成第一弯折部。
S22 第二弯折步骤,弯折所述面板的第二突出部,使其被固定至所述面板的背部,形成第二弯折部。
S23 第三弯折步骤,弯折所述面板的第三突出部,使其被固定至所述面板的背部,形成第三弯折部。
S24 第四弯折步骤,弯折所述面板的第四突出部,使其被固定至所述面板的背部,形成第四弯折部,同时,设于所述第四弯折部上的覆晶薄膜与柔性线路板也被弯折至所述面板的背面。此时,未被弯折的面板即为显示区,用以正常显示。
可通过调节显示装置的像素驱动电流至零,使得任一弯折部在所述背面显示为黑色,相当于不显示。

本实施例所述显示面板的制备方法的技术效果在于,将显示区部分地弯折至背面,使得显示装置的正面均为有效显示区,实现无边框的视觉效果。在部分弯折部上开槽,可在弯折部弯折时缓解应力,提升显示装置的可弯折性。
以上所述仅是本发明的优选实施方式,应当指出,对于本技术领域的普通技术人员,在不脱离本发明原理的前提下,还可以做出若干改进和润饰,这些改进和润饰也应视为本发明的保护范围。

Claims (10)

  1. 一种显示面板,其包括:
    显示区;
    弯折区,连接至所述显示区的任一侧边,且被弯折至所述显示区的背面;以及
    覆晶薄膜,连接至弯折区。
  2. 如权利要求1所述的显示面板,其中,
    所述显示区包括:
    相互平行的第一侧边及第二侧边;以及
    相互平行的第三侧边及第四侧边。
  3. 如权利要求2所述的显示面板,其中,
    所述弯折区包括:
    第一弯折部,在所述第一侧边处被弯折至所述显示区的背面;
    第二弯折部,在所述第二侧边处被弯折至所述显示区的背面;
    第三弯折部,在所述第三侧边处被弯折至所述显示区的背面;以及
    第四弯折部,在所述第四侧边处被弯折至所述显示区的背面。
  4. 如权利要求3所述的显示面板,其中,
    所述覆晶薄膜连接至所述弯折区的第四弯折部。
  5. 如权利要求3所述的显示面板,其中,
    所述第一弯折部设有第一凹槽;和/或,
    所述第二弯折部设有第二凹槽。
  6. 如权利要求4所述的显示面板,其中,
    所述第一凹槽的形状包括梯形、三角形或矩形中的任一种;和/或,
    所述第二凹槽的形状包括梯形、三角形或矩形中的任一种。
  7. 一种显示装置,包括如权利要求1所述的显示面板。
  8. 一种显示面板的制备方法,其包括以下步骤:
    面板提供步骤,提供一面板;以及
    弯折步骤,将所述面板的侧边弯折至所述面板的背面。
  9. 如权利要求8所述的显示面板的制备方法,其中,
    所述弯折步骤包括以下步骤:
    第一弯折步骤,将所述面板的第一侧边弯折至所述面板的背面;
    第二弯折步骤,将所述面板的第二侧边弯折至所述面板的背面;
    第三弯折步骤,将所述面板的第三侧边弯折至所述面板的背面;以及
    第四弯折步骤,将所述面板的第四侧边弯折至所述面板的背面。
  10. 如权利要求8所述的显示面板的制备方法,其中,
    所述面板提供步骤包括
    开槽步骤,在所述面板的第一侧边及第三侧边进行开槽处理。
