- This hot press method is a method of forming a molded product that has been hardened twice, and is a pre-heating transfer step, a first heating step, a first post-heating transfer step, a first press step, and a first press. It includes a post-conveyance step, a second heating step, a second post-heating transfer step, a second press step, and a second post-press transfer step.
- the hot press method described below is realized by controlling the heating furnace 14, the transfer table 16, the first press machine 18, the second press machine 20, the second manipulator 42, and the third manipulator 44 by the controller 22. Will be done.
- the work transfer tool 46 is moved above the table 12 by the third manipulator 44 shown in FIG. At this time, the work carrier 46 is opened. Then, after the height of the work carrier 46 is adjusted, the work carrier 46 is closed, and the blank 24 on the table 12 is placed on the first mounting surface 100A formed on the pair of first claws 100. Placed (see FIG. 6).
- the work transfer tool 46 is moved above the transfer table 16 by the third manipulator 44 shown in FIG. Then, the work transfer tool 46 is opened, and the blank 24 is placed on the transfer table 16 as shown in FIG.
- the width 78 of the arm 70 is narrower than the distance 80 of the adjacent rollers 26. Further, the width 78 of the arm 70 is narrower than the width 82 of the groove 16B formed in the side wall 16A of the transport table 16. Therefore, the work carrier 46 can be opened without the arm 70 interfering with the side wall 16A (see FIG. 3). The work carrier 46 stands by in the open state at the open state.
- the pre-heating transfer process is described in the present disclosure as "a first transfer process in which a pair of arms are closed to place the first work on the first mounting surface, and the work transfer tool is moved to transfer the first work". This is an example.
- the plurality of rollers 26 provided on the transfer table 16 and the plurality of rollers provided on the heating furnace 14 rotate. As a result, the blank 24 is moved onto the transfer table 16, and the blank 24 is arranged below the work transfer tool 46 that has been waiting above the transfer table 16.
- the blank 24 on the transfer table 16 is closed by the work transfer tool 46 being closed while maintaining the height without lowering the work transfer tool 46 or the like. It can be placed on the first mounting surface 100A formed on the pair of first claws 100. As a result, the time required to transfer the blank 24 from the heating furnace 14 to the first press machine 18 can be shortened.
- the width 78 of the arm 70 is narrower than the distance 80 of the adjacent rollers 26. Further, the width 78 of the arm 70 is narrower than the width 82 of the groove 16B formed in the side wall 16A of the transport table 16. Therefore, even if the work carrier 46 maintains the height, the arm 70 can be moved to the inside of the pair of side walls 16A by passing through the corresponding groove 16B, and the pair of first claws 100 can be moved to the inside of the pair of side walls 16A. It can be placed on the lower side (see FIG. 3).
- the blank 24 has a wider width than the primary molded product 120 (see FIG. 5) formed by the first press machine 18 described later. Therefore, the blank 24 can be placed on the first mounting surface 100A of the pair of first claws 100, which are shorter in length than each of the pair of second claws 102. Further, as compared with the case where the blank 24 is placed on the second mounting surface 102A of the pair of second claws 102 having a length longer than each of the pair of first claws 100, the blank 24 and the pair of first claws are placed. The contact area with 100 can be reduced. As a result, it is possible to prevent the heat of the blank 24 from escaping through the pair of first claws 100.
- the work transfer tool 46 is moved to the first press machine 18 by the third manipulator 44 shown in FIG.
- the third manipulator 44 operates so that the work carrier 46 moves along the direction in which the pair of arms 70 in the closed state face each other.

- the dimension 110 in the height direction 109 from the upper surface 30A of the base 30 of the lower die 28 to the top surface 32A of the punch portion 32 is the second mounting surface of the second claw 102. It is smaller than the dimension 108 from 102A to the first mounting surface 100A of the first claw 100. This dimension 108 is larger than the dimension 110, the dimension 112 in the height direction of the locate pin 36B, and the dimension obtained by adding the margin margin.
- the second height 124 (see FIG. 9) of the primary molded product 120 and the blank 24 are first from the transport table 16. - the work carrier 46 is in the closed state 92.
- the primary molded product 120 raised by the lifter 36 is placed on the second mounting surface 102A formed on the pair of second claws 102.
- the height of the work carrier 46 is adjusted so that the tips of the pair of arms 70 do not interfere with the base 30 of the lower mold 28. Further, by adjusting the angles of the pair of arms 70, the primary molded product 120 is stably supported.
- the pair of second claws 102 is inserted under the primary molded product 120 and is placed on the second mounting surface 102A of the pair of second claws 102.
- the primary molded product 120 can be placed. Therefore, for example, as compared with the case where the pair of arms 70 slides in the horizontal direction, the mechanism of the work carrier 46 can be simplified and the time required for opening and closing the pair of arms 70 can be shortened. Can be done.
- the three-dimensional primary molded product 120 has a narrower width than the flat plate-shaped blank 24. Therefore, by using the second claw 102 that is longer than the first claw 100, the primary molded product 120 can be placed on the second mounting surface 102A of the pair of second claws 102.
- a pair of second claws 102 that support the three-dimensional primary molded product 120 are provided at the tip of the arm 70. Therefore, since the space above the pair of second claws 102 can be secured, it is possible to cope with a large dimension of the primary molded product 120 in the height direction.
- the work transfer tool 46 is moved above the transfer table 16 by the third manipulator 44 shown in FIG.
- the third manipulator 44 operates so that the work carrier 46 moves along the direction in which the pair of arms 70 in the closed state face each other.
- the transfer speed of the work transfer tool 46 can be increased.
- the work transfer tool 46 is moved above the transfer table 16, the work transfer tool 46 is opened and the primary molded product 120 is placed on the transfer table 16.
- the work carrier 46 stands by in the open state at the open state.
- FIG. 9 shows the first height 122 of the work transfer tool 46 when the blank 24 is conveyed in the above-mentioned first post-heating transfer step, and when the primary molded product 120 is conveyed in the first post-press transfer step.
- the figure which compares with the second height 124 of the work carrier 46 of the above is shown.
- the primary molded product 120 is conveyed at the same height as the blank 24 conveyed in the transfer step after the first heating.
- the height of the second mounting surface 102A is set to be the same as the height of the first mounting surface 100A in the transfer process after the first heating.
- this post-pressing transfer step when the primary molded product 120 is received from the first press machine 18, the primary molded product 120 is placed on the pair of second claws 102 located below the pair of first claws 100. Place. Therefore, for example, as compared with the case where the primary molded product 120 is placed on the pair of first claws 100, the descent distance when receiving the primary molded product 120 from the first press machine 18 can be shortened. Further, the descent operation when the primary molded product 120 is delivered to the transfer table 16 can be eliminated. As a result, it is possible to shorten the ascending / descending time of the work transfer tool 46, and thus the time required to transfer the primary molded product 120 from the first press machine 18 to the heating furnace 14.
- the transfer step after the first press is the second transfer in the present disclosure, in which the pair of arms are closed and the second work is placed on the second mounting surface, and the work transfer tool is moved to transfer the second work.
- This is an example of "process”.
- the plurality of rollers 26 provided on the transport table 16 and the plurality of rollers provided on the heating furnace 14 rotate.
- the primary molded product 120 is moved onto the transport table 16, and the primary molded product 120 is arranged below the work transfer tool 46 that has been waiting above the transport table 16.
- the work transfer tool 46 is closed while maintaining its height without lowering the work transfer tool 46, so that the primary molded product on the transfer table 16 is closed.
- the 120 can be placed on the second mounting surface 102A formed on the pair of second claws 102. As a result, the time required to transfer the primary molded product 120 from the heating furnace 14 to the second press machine 20 can be shortened.
- the work transfer tool 46 is moved to the second press machine 20 by the third manipulator 44 shown in FIG.

- the transfer speed of the work transfer tool 46 can be increased.
- the third manipulator 44 is in a state where the locate hole 24A formed in the primary molded product 120 is aligned with the locate pin 36B of the lower mold 28.
- the work carrier 46 is opened, and the primary molded product 120 is set in the lower die 28 of the second press machine 20. That is, the primary molded product 120 is placed on the top surface 32A of the punch portion 32, and the locate pin 36B is inserted into the locate hole 24A.
- the work carrier 46 is returned to the initial position.
- the second transfer step after heating is described in the present disclosure as "a second transfer in which the pair of arms are closed and the second work is placed on the second mounting surface, and the work transfer tool is moved to transfer the second work.

At this time, the heat of the primary molded product 120 is rapidly removed by the lower mold 28 and the upper mold, so that the second quenching is performed and the secondary molded product 130 is formed from the primary molded product 120. ..
- the shape of the secondary molded product 130 may be the final shape.
- the secondary molded product 130 is lifted by the lifter 36.
- the flat plate-shaped blank 24 may be conveyed by using the first claw 100 and the second claw 102 of the work transfer tool 46.
- the transfer height of the work transfer tool 46 may be changed.
- one of the first heating step and the second heating step may be omitted depending on the shape and characteristics of the target secondary molded product 130.
- the work carrier 46 has a pair of arms 70 and an opening / closing mechanism 62 that opens and closes the pair of arms 70 in the horizontal direction.
- Each of the pair of arms 70 is provided with a pair of first claws 100 on which a blank 24 is placed, and a primary molded product 120 or a secondary molded product 130 is placed on each of the pair of arms 70.

- the opening / closing mechanism 62 has a telescopic mechanism 52B that slidably supports the pair of arms 70 in the horizontal direction. Therefore, the horizontal distance between the pair of arms 70 can be adjusted. As a result, the blanks 24 having different widths can be conveyed by the work transfer tool 46, and the primary molded products 120 having different widths can be conveyed by the work transfer tool 46.
- the height of the second mounting surface 102A is set to be the same as the height of the first mounting surface 100A in the transfer process after the first heating.

Abstract
