It may be while the mechanism 11 is sliding. Another example of the timing of rotating the lateral mechanism 11 by the first rotation driving unit 15 will be described later.
- the lateral mechanism 11 is rotatable around the first vertical axis AX1 with respect to the main body portion 10, and thus the main body portion 10 Whether the traveling direction is the first track R1 or the second track R2, the lateral mechanism 11 can be slid in a desired direction.

- the first rotation driving unit 15 may be driven to rotate the lateral mechanism 11 about the first vertical axis AX1 while traveling.
- the control unit 50 When acquiring the information on the transfer position P16, the control unit 50 acquires information on the transfer destination P from the host controller or the like. From the information on the transfer destination P, the direction of the slide movement by the lateral mechanism 11 is acquired after stopping at the transfer position P16. Therefore, the control unit 50 can start the sliding movement of the lateral mechanism 11 within a short time after the main unit 10 is stopped or at the same time as the main unit 10 is stopped by rotating the lateral mechanism 11 while the main unit 10 is traveling. Therefore, the time required to transfer the article M can be shortened.
- the lateral mechanism 11 when the lateral mechanism 11 adopts the one-sided slide movement, the lateral mechanism 11 is rotated within a range of 270 degrees, so that the lateral mechanism 11 is rotated while the main body 10 is running, so that the article can be rotated. It is possible to reduce the transfer time of M.
- control unit 50 does not need to accurately acquire the direction of slide movement by the lateral mechanism 11.
- the control unit 50 may roughly calculate the slide movement direction from the coordinates of the transfer position P16 and the transfer destination P, and rotate the lateral mechanism 11 in that direction. Even in this case, since the adjustment of the rotational position of the lateral mechanism 11 is completed in a short time after the transfer position P16 is stopped, the time required to transfer the article M can be shortened.
- the control unit 50 sets the rotational position of the lateral mechanism 11 so that the linear direction in which the lateral mechanism 11 slides and the transfer destination P overlap in plan view. You may set it. With this configuration, as shown in FIG.
- the slide movement (single-sided slide movement) by the lateral mechanism 11 can be immediately started, and the main body 10 is transferred.
- the transfer operation of the article M can be performed quickly after reaching the position P16.
- the configuration in which the main body portion 10 is provided with the second rotary drive portions 16 and 116 has been described as an example, but the configuration is not limited to this configuration, and the main body portion 10 includes the second rotary drive portions 16 and 116.
- a configuration without 116 may be used.
- the second rotation drive units 16 and 116 Even in the ceiling guided vehicle 100 not including the above, the transfer position of the article M can be easily adjusted as in the above-described embodiment.
- the direction changing mechanism 34 rotates the connecting portion 30 around the turning axis AX3 with respect to the main body portion 10, so that the traveling wheels 21 travel in the first track R1 in the first state
- the configuration in which the traveling wheels 21 switch between the second state in which the traveling wheels 21 travel on the second track R2 has been described as an example, but the configuration is not limited to this configuration.
- a first traveling wheel that travels on the first track R1 and a second traveling wheel that travels on the second track R2 are separately provided, and the first traveling wheel and the second traveling wheel are arranged according to the traveling direction of the main body portion 10.
- a configuration may be used in which the traveling wheels are switched and used.
- the lattice-shaped orbit R in which the first orbit R1 (first direction D1) and the second orbit R2 (second direction D2) are orthogonal to each other is described as an example, but this configuration is used.
- the trajectory R may have a form in which the first trajectory R1 and the second trajectory R2 are not orthogonal to each other.
- the first trajectory R1 and the second trajectory R2 are not limited to the form of a lattice trajectory R that intersects, and the trajectory R is, for example, the second trajectory R2 in a state of being bent from the end of the first trajectory R1. May be arranged. Further, as far as legally permitted, the contents of Japanese Patent Application No. 2018-203024 and all documents cited in this specification are incorporated herein by reference.
