Description
特許文献2、3には、接着剤及びシール材等の用途に適する一成分系の室温硬化性(RTV)シリコーン組成物に含まれる触媒として、有機カルボン酸のリチウム、ナトリウム、カリウム、亜鉛、又はストロンチウム等の金属塩が開示されている。しかしながら、上記用途に適するシリコーン組成物を水生生物の付着を防止するための防汚塗料用途に適用する場合には硬化性等の性能に不具合を生じる場合があり、改善の余地が残されている。
[1] 1分子中に少なくとも2個のシラノール基を有する硬化性オルガノポリシロキサン(A)、1分子中に少なくとも2個の加水分解性基を有するオルガノシラン及びその部分加水分解縮合物から選ばれる1種以上の有機ケイ素架橋剤(B)、並びに硬化触媒(C)を含有する防汚塗料組成物であって、該硬化触媒(C)が少なくとも1種のアルカリ金属を含むアルカリ金属化合物を含有する、防汚塗料組成物。

また、本発明によれば、前記防汚塗料組成物を調製するためのキット、前記防汚塗料組成物から形成された防汚塗膜、並びに該防汚塗膜付き基材及びその製造方法を提供することができる。
本発明の防汚塗料組成物(以下、単に「塗料組成物」ともいう。)は、1分子中に少なくとも2個のシラノール基を有する硬化性オルガノポリシロキサン(A)、1分子中に少なくとも2個の加水分解性基を有するオルガノシラン及びその部分加水分解縮合物から選ばれる1種以上の有機ケイ素架橋剤(B)、並びに硬化触媒(C)を含有する。
本発明の防汚塗料組成物は、防汚塗膜の防汚性を高めることを目的として、1分子中に少なくとも2個のシラノール基を有する硬化性オルガノポリシロキサン(A)(以下、単に「硬化性オルガノポリシロキサン(A)」ともいう。)を含有する。硬化性オルガノポリシロキサン(A)は、単独でも、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。

式(A1)中、R11及びR13は、それぞれ独立に、水素原子、炭素数1~16のアルキル基、炭素数2~16のアルケニル基、炭素数6~16のアリール基、炭素数7~16のアラルキル基、又は炭素数1~16のハロゲン化アルキル基を示し、R12は、それぞれ独立に、ヒドロキシ基、又は加水分解性基を示す。また、rは1~3の整数を示し、sは10~10,000を示す。ただし、複数存在するR12のうち少なくとも2個はヒドロキシ基を示す。
R12における加水分解性基としては、例えば、オキシム基、アシルオキシ基、アルコキシ基、アルケニルオキシ基、アミノ基、アミド基、及びアミノオキシ基等が挙げられる。
R12におけるオキシム基としては、炭素数1~10のオキシム基が好ましく、例えば、ジメチルケトオキシム基、メチルエチルケトオキシム基、ジエチルケトオキシム基、及びメチルイソプロピルケトオキシム基等が挙げられる。
R12におけるアルコキシ基の具体例としては、メトキシ基、エトキシ基、プロポキシ基、ブトキシ基、メトキシエトキシ基、及びエトキシエトキシ基等が挙げられる。
なお、本明細書において、1級アミノ基とは、-NH2で表される基であり、2級アミノ基とは、-NH2の1つの水素原子がアルキル基等で置換された基を意味し、3級アミノ基とは、-NH2の2つの水素原子がアルキル基等で置換された基を意味する。
R12がヒドロキシ基である場合、rは好ましくは1であり、R12がヒドロキシ基と加水分解性基とを含む場合、rは好ましくは2である。
なお、sは、-(SiR13 2-O)-の平均繰り返し数を意味する。
本発明の防汚塗膜、及び該防汚塗膜を形成する防汚塗料組成物は、防汚塗膜の硬化性及び塗膜強度を向上させることを目的として、1分子中に少なくとも2個の加水分解性基を有するオルガノシラン及びその部分加水分解縮合物から選ばれる1種以上の有機ケイ素架橋剤(B)(以下、単に「有機ケイ素架橋剤(B)」ともいう。)を含有する。
有機ケイ素架橋剤(B)は、下記式(B1)で表される化合物、及びその部分加水分解縮合物から選ばれる1種以上であることが好ましい。

式(B1)中、R21は、炭素数1~6の炭化水素基を示し、Yは、それぞれ独立に、加水分解性基を示し、dは0~2の整数を示す。
なお、dが2であるとき、複数存在するR21は、それぞれ同一でも異なっていてもよい。
式(B1)におけるYは、それぞれ独立に、加水分解性基を示し、加水分解性基としては前記式(A1)におけるR12で例示した加水分解性基が挙げられる。これらの中でも、アルコキシ基及びオキシム基が好ましく、アルコキシ基がより好ましく、メトキシ基、及びエトキシ基が更に好ましい。なお、複数存在するYはそれぞれ同一でも異なっていてもよい。
式(B1)におけるdは0~2の整数を示し、防汚塗膜の硬化性及び塗膜強度を向上させる観点から、0が好ましい。
有機ケイ素架橋剤(B)は、単独でも、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
塗料組成物中の有機ケイ素架橋剤(B)の含有量は、ガスクロマトグラフィー等の分析手法を用いて分析することができる。例えば、ガスクロマトグラフィー質量分析法では検出されるピークのマスパターンから、シラン化合物を定性することができ、標準物質による検量線を作成することで、各成分を定量することもできる。
本発明の防汚塗料組成物は、形成される塗膜の硬化速度を向上させ、塗膜強度を向上させることを目的として、硬化触媒(C)を含有する。
本発明に係る硬化触媒(C)は、少なくとも1種のアルカリ金属を含むアルカリ金属化合物(以下、「アルカリ金属化合物(C1)」ともいう)を含有する。アルカリ金属化合物(C1)としては、少なくとも1種のアルカリ金属を含む化合物であれば特に制限はないが、リチウム化合物、ナトリウム化合物、及びカリウム化合物が好ましく、低温硬化性および塗料組成物の貯蔵安定性、塗装作業性の観点からは、リチウム化合物が最も好ましい。硬化触媒(C)としてアルカリ金属化合物(C1)を含有することにより、錫系触媒のように法規制による使用の制限を受ける可能性が低いため、塗料組成物中に硬化触媒(C)を多く配合することも可能となる。
前記アルカリ金属化合物(C1)は、硬化触媒(C)中に1種又は2種以上を含有していてもよい。
前記アルカリ金属化合物(C1)における、カルボン酸アルカリ金属塩を構成するカルボン酸としては、好ましくはモノカルボン酸である。
前記炭素数6~24のカルボン酸としては、1種でも又は2種以上を含有してもよいが、塗料組成物の製造容易性、防汚性向上の観点から、2種以上のカルボン酸を含むことが好ましい。前記炭素数6~24のカルボン酸が2種以上のカルボン酸を含む場合には、異性体混合物でもよく、炭素数の異なる複数のカルボン酸の混合物でもよい。更には、これらの組み合わせでもよい。
前記カルボン酸の炭素数は、好ましくは6~24であり、より好ましくは8~22、更に好ましくは8~16である。
前記カルボン酸の具体例としては、ヘキサン酸、ヘプタン酸、2-エチルヘキサン酸、オクタン酸、ノナン酸、バーサチック酸、デカン酸、ネオデカン酸、ウンデカン酸、ドデカン酸、トリデカン酸、テトラデカン酸、ペンタデカン酸、ヘキサデカン酸、ヘプタデカン酸、オクタデカン酸、ノナデカン酸、イコサン酸、ベヘン酸、エルカ酸、オレイン酸、リノール酸、リノレン酸、及びナフテン酸等が挙げられる。これらの中では、好ましくは直鎖又は分岐鎖の炭化水素鎖を有する長鎖カルボン酸であり、より好ましくは直鎖又は分岐鎖のアルキル鎖を有する長鎖カルボン酸であり、更に好ましくは2-エチルヘキサン酸、オクタン酸、ノナン酸、デカン酸、バーサチック酸であり、より更に好ましくは2-エチルヘキサン酸、オクタン酸、バーサチック酸である。バーサチック酸とは、炭素数10のモノカルボン酸を主体としたモノカルボン酸混合物(異性体混合物を含む)であり、バーサチック酸のアルカリ金属塩は、2種以上のカルボン酸を含む長鎖カルボン酸のアルカリ金属塩である。
前記金属化合物(C2)としては、防汚性、及び硬化性の観点から、亜鉛化合物が好ましく、例えば、カルボン酸亜鉛塩、アセチルアセトン亜鉛錯体等が挙げられ、中でも、好ましくはカルボン酸亜鉛塩である。
前記カルボン酸亜鉛塩を構成するカルボン酸としては、前記炭素数6~24のカルボン酸が挙げられる。
カルボン酸亜鉛塩としては、具体的には、例えば、2-エチルヘキサン酸亜鉛、オクタン酸亜鉛、ノナン酸亜鉛、デカン酸亜鉛、ナフテン酸亜鉛、ステアリン酸亜鉛、ネオデカン酸亜鉛、オレイン酸亜鉛等が挙げられる。これらの中では、オクタン酸亜鉛、ノナン酸亜鉛、デカン酸亜鉛が好ましい。
前記金属化合物(C2)は1種又は2種以上を含有していてもよい。
前記硬化触媒(C)中のアルカリ金属の含有量は、前記硬化触媒(C)中の金属の総量に対して好ましくは50質量%以上、より好ましくは70質量%以上、更に好ましくは85質量%以上、より更に好ましくは90質量%以上である。該アルカリ金属の含有量は、好ましくは100質量%以下である。硬化触媒(C)中の金属の総量に対するアルカリ金属の含有量が前記範囲内にあると、低温環境下においても迅速な硬化性を有し、さらに防汚性にも優れる。
前記硬化触媒(C)が亜鉛化合物を含有する場合には、硬化触媒(C)中の亜鉛の含有量は、前記硬化触媒(C)中の金属の総量に対して好ましくは50質量%以下、より好ましくは30質量%以下、更に好ましくは15質量%以下である。
本発明の防汚塗料組成物中におけるアルカリ金属の含有量は、好ましくは100mg/kg以上、より好ましくは130mg/kg以上、更に好ましくは200mg/kg以上、より更に好ましくは300mg/kg以上である。防汚塗料組成物中におけるアルカリ金属の含有量が前記範囲内にあると、低温環境下においても迅速な硬化性を有し、さらに防汚性にも優れる。
本発明の防汚塗料組成物は、硬化性オルガノポリシロキサン(A)、有機ケイ素架橋剤(B)、硬化触媒(C)の他に、必要に応じて、シリコーンオイル(D)、エーテル基含有重合体(E)、無機充填剤(F)、着色顔料(G)、有機溶剤(H)、防汚剤(I)、シランカップリング剤(J)、タレ止め-沈降防止剤(K)、及び酵素(L)等を含有していてもよい。任意成分は、1種でも、2種以上を組み合わせて使用してもよい。本発明において、例えば、任意成分として、シリコーンオイル(D)、及びエーテル基含有重合体(E)からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種を含有する塗料組成物を好ましく挙げることができる。
本発明の防汚塗料組成物は、形成される防汚塗膜の防汚性を向上させることを目的として、シリコーンオイル(D)を含有してもよい。

式(D1)中、R31及びR32はそれぞれ独立に、水素原子、又は構造中にヘテロ原子を有する基を有していてもよい炭素数1~50のアルキル基、アルケニル基、アリール基、アラルキル基若しくはハロゲン化アルキル基を示し、R33は、単結合、又はヘテロ原子を有する基が介在してもよい炭素数1~50の2価の炭化水素基を示す。tは10~1,000の整数を示す。
ヘテロ原子を有する基としては、例えば、エーテル基、チオエーテル基、エステル基、アミド基、アミノ基、ヒドロキシ基、カルボキシ基、及びチオール基等が挙げられる。構造中にヘテロ原子を有する基を含有するとは、例えばアルキル基である場合には、アルキル基の炭素-炭素結合の間にヘテロ原子を有する基が介在する構造を有するもの、又はアルキル基の水素原子がヘテロ原子を有する基で置換されたものが挙げられる。ヘテロ原子を有する基は、1種でも、又は2種以上を有していてもよい。
シリコーンオイル(D)としては、R31及びR32がアルキル基のみで構成されたものや、アルキル基及びアリール基で構成されたものが好ましい。
エーテル基を有するアルキル基としては、例えば、下記の化学構造を有するものが挙げられる。

なお、本明細書において、R31及びR32が全てメチル基で構成されたシリコーンオイルを「ポリジメチルシロキサン(無変性)」と呼称する。また、R31及びR32がメチル基及びエーテル基を有するアルキル基で構成されたシリコーンオイルを「エーテル変性ポリジメチルシロキサン」と呼称する。
なお、本明細書において、R31及びR32がメチル基及びフェニル基で構成されたシリコーンオイルを「フェニル変性ポリジメチルシロキサン」とも呼称する。

本発明の防汚塗料組成物は、防汚塗膜の防汚性を向上させることを目的として、エーテル基含有重合体(E)を含有してもよい。
エーテル基含有重合体(E)としては、下記一般式(E1)で表される不飽和単量体に由来する構成単位を有する重合体であることが好ましい。

エーテル基含有重合体(E)は、単独でも、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
本発明の防汚塗料組成物は、該塗料組成物の流動性、及びチクソトロピー性を向上させることを目的として、無機充填剤(F)を含有してもよい。
本発明の防汚塗料組成物は、該塗料組成物及びその塗膜の意匠性及び視認性を向上させることを目的として、前記無機充填剤(F)を除く着色顔料(G)を含有してもよい。
本発明の防汚塗料組成物は、該塗料組成物の粘度を低く保ち、スプレー霧化性を向上させることにより塗装作業性を向上させることを目的として、有機溶剤(H)を含有してもよい。
前記有機溶剤(H)がアルコール系有機溶剤を含有する場合には、有機溶剤(H)中のアルコール系有機溶剤の含有量は、好ましくは8質量%以上、より好ましくは12質量%以上、更に好ましくは14質量%以上であり、そして、好ましくは60質量%以下、より好ましくは40質量%以下、更に好ましくは20質量%以下である。
本発明の防汚塗料組成物は、形成させる防汚塗膜の防汚性を向上させることを目的として、防汚剤(I)を含有してもよい。防汚剤(I)は、単独でも、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
前記ピリチオン塩としては、下記一般式(I)で表されるものが挙げられる。
本発明の防汚塗料組成物は、下地との接着性を向上させる目的として、シランカップリング剤(J)を含んでいてもよい。
シランカップリング剤(J)としては、例えば、下記式(J1)で表される化合物を用いることが好ましい。
(R51O)wR52 (3-W)Si-R53-Z ・・・(J1)
R51及びR52における炭素数1~10のアルキル基、R52における炭素数2~10のアルケニル基、及び炭素数6~10のアリール基としては、前記式(A1)におけるR11及びR13で例示したもののうち、対応する炭素数のものが同様に挙げられる。
複数存在するR51は、それぞれ同一でも異なっていてもよい。
式(J1)におけるwは、2又は3の整数であり、好ましくは3である。
シランカップリング剤(J)としては、上記式(J1)で表される化合物の部分加水分解縮合物を用いてもよい。シランカップリング剤(J)は、単独でも、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
本発明の防汚塗料組成物は、タレ止め-沈降防止剤(K)を含有してもよい。
タレ止め-沈降防止剤(K)としては、有機粘土系ワックス(Al、Ca、Znのステアレート塩、レシチン塩、アルキルスルホン酸塩等)、有機系ワックス(ポリエチレンワックス、酸化ポリエチレンワックス、アマイドワックス、ポリアマイドワックス、水添ヒマシ油ワックス等)、有機粘土系ワックスと有機系ワックスの混合物等が挙げられる。
本発明の防汚塗料組成物は、防汚塗膜の防汚性を向上させることを目的として、酵素(L)を含有してもよい。
本発明の防汚塗料組成物は、通常、2つ以上のコンポーネントからなる多液型塗料として提供される。
これらの各コンポーネント(各液)は、それぞれ1種以上の成分を含有しており、別個に包装された後、缶等の容器に入れられた状態で貯蔵保管される。各コンポーネントの内容物を塗装時に混合することにより塗料組成物を調製する。すなわち、本発明は一側面において、本発明に係る防汚塗料組成物を調製するための、上記のようなコンポーネントからなるキットを提供する。
本発明に係る防汚塗料組成物を調製するためのキットの一形態は、硬化性オルガノポリシロキサン(A)を含有する主剤コンポーネント(X)と、有機ケイ素架橋剤(B)及び硬化触媒(C)を含有する硬化剤コンポーネント(Y)とがそれぞれ別個に有する多液型の形態にある。
本発明に係る防汚塗料組成物を調製するためのキットの一形態は、硬化性オルガノポリシロキサン(A)を含有する主剤コンポーネント(X)と、有機ケイ素架橋剤(B)を含有する硬化剤コンポーネント(Y)と、添加剤コンポーネント(Z)とがそれぞれ別個に有する多液型の形態にある。当該形態において、硬化触媒(C)が、硬化剤コンポーネント(Y)、及び添加剤コンポーネント(Z)からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1つのコンポーネントに含有される。
本発明の防汚塗膜は、本発明の防汚塗料組成物から形成され、該防汚塗料組成物を硬化してなるものである。具体的には、例えば、本発明の防汚塗料組成物を基材等に塗布した後、乾燥させることにより防汚塗膜を形成することができる。
本発明に係る防汚塗膜付き基材は、本発明の防汚塗膜を基材上に有するものである。
本発明の防汚塗膜付き基材の製造方法は特に限定されないが、例えば、下記工程(1)及び工程(2)を有する方法、又は下記工程(i)、及び工程(ii)を有する方法が挙げられる。
本発明の防汚塗膜付き基材は、本発明の防汚塗料組成物を基材に塗布又は含浸させることにより、塗布体又は含浸体を得る工程(1)、及び前記工程(1)により基材に塗布又は含浸させた塗料組成物を硬化させて塗膜を形成する工程(2)を有する方法によって製造することができる。
本発明の防汚塗膜を使用する防汚方法としては、特に限定されないが、水生生物の付着を防止したい対象物(基材)を本発明の防汚塗膜又は積層防汚塗膜で被覆する方法等が挙げられる。
前記積層防汚塗膜は、防食塗膜の上に、本発明の防汚塗膜を有することが好ましい。該防食塗膜としては、反応硬化型樹脂系、熱可塑性樹脂系の防食塗膜が挙げられ、付着性の観点から反応硬化型樹脂系の防食塗膜が好ましい。反応硬化型樹脂としては、具体的にはシリコーン樹脂、エポキシ樹脂、ウレタン樹脂等が挙げられる。
また、前記積層防汚塗膜は、本発明の防汚塗膜の上に、さらに本発明の防汚塗膜及びその他のシリコーン樹脂系防汚塗膜からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の防汚塗膜を有してもよい。
本発明の防汚塗膜は、防汚性に優れ、該塗膜によって被覆された基材の水生生物による汚損を抑制することができる。
<固形分(質量%)>
硬化触媒(C)溶液、エーテル基含有重合体(E)溶液、及び防汚塗料組成物の固形分は、下記方法により算出した。
試料1.0g(X1)を、1気圧、125℃の条件に保った恒温槽内で1時間保持し、揮発分を除去して不揮発分を得た。この不揮発分の量(X2(g))を測定し、下記式に基づいて、試料に含まれる固形分の含有率(質量%)を算出した。
固形分(質量%)=(X2/X1)×100
E型粘度計(TV-25、東機産業(株)製)を用いて、液温25℃のエーテル基含有重合体(E)溶液の粘度(単位:mPa・s)を測定した。
エーテル基含有重合体(E)および硬化性オルガノポリシロキサン(A)の重量平均分子量(Mw)を下記条件でGPC(ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィ)を用いて測定した。
GPC条件
装置:「HLC-8220GPC」(東ソー(株)製)
カラム:「TSKgel SuperH2000」及び「TSKgel SuperH4000」を連結(いずれも東ソー(株)製、内径6mm/長さ15cm)
溶離液:テトラヒドロフラン(THF)
流速:0.500ml/min
検出器:RI
カラム恒温槽温度:40℃
標準物質:ポリスチレン
サンプル調製法:製造例1のエーテル基含有重合体(E)溶液または硬化性オルガノポリシロキサン(A)にTHFを加えて希釈した後、メンブレムフィルターで濾過して得られた濾物をGPC測定サンプルとした。
硬化触媒は下記条件でICP発光分析法により、組成分析を行い、硬化触媒中の金属含有量を求めた。
試験機器として、「SPECTRO CIROS-120(EOP)」((株)リガク製)を使用し、JIS K0116:2014に定められた方法で測定を行った。
試料の前処理として、硬化触媒を「ポリプロピレン製分解チューブ DigiTUBEs」(ジーエルサイエンス(株)製)に1g秤量し、硝酸(1+1)25mLを加えて、ブロックヒーターによる加熱分解を行った。放冷後、蒸留水で50mLにメスアップし検液Aとした。
得られた検液Aを蒸留水で任意の割合に希釈し、サンプル中の金属量を、ICP発光分析装置を用い測定した。尚、検量線は、0ppm、1ppm、2ppm及び4ppmの4点の残存金属イオン既知量サンプルを使用して作成した。また各金属の発光スペクトルの測定波長として、亜鉛は202.548nm、ビスマスは223.061nm、ジルコニウムは257.139nm、鉄は259.941nm、バリウムは455.404nm、ストロンチウムは407.771nm、リチウムは670.780nm、ナトリウムは589.592nm、カリウムは766.941nmをそれぞれ使用した。
<製造例1>
反応は常圧、窒素雰囲気下で行った。撹拌機、還流冷却器、温度計、窒素導入管、滴下ロートを備えた反応容器に、メチルアミルケトン 42.86gを仕込み、撹拌しながら内温が100℃になるまで加熱した。反応容器内のメチルアミルケトンの温度を100±5℃の範囲で保ちながら、NKエステル AM-90G(メトキシポリエチレングリコール#400アクリレート、新中村化学工業(株)製) 20g、イソブチルアクリレート 80g、2,2’-アゾビス(2-メチルブチロニトリル) 4gからなるモノマー混合物を4時間かけて反応容器内に滴下した。その後同温度範囲を保ちながら2時間撹拌し、エーテル基含有重合体(E)溶液を得た。エーテル基含有重合体(E)の各種物性を測定し、結果を表1に示す。
<製造例2>
反応は常圧、窒素雰囲気下で行った。攪拌機、還流冷却器、温度計、窒素導入管を備えた反応容器にバーサチック酸 57.33g、水酸化リチウム一水和物15.4g、ブチルセルソルブ28.49gを仕込み、撹拌しながら内温が80℃になるまで加熱した。反応容器内のバーサチック酸の温度を80±5℃の範囲で保ちながら、3時間撹拌し、バーサチック酸リチウム溶液(固形分60質量%)を得た。
<製造例3>
反応は常圧、窒素雰囲気下で行った。攪拌機、還流冷却器、温度計、窒素導入管を備えた反応容器にバーサチック酸 34.6g、水酸化ナトリウム8.0g、エタノール35.4gを仕込み、撹拌しながら内温が50℃になるまで加熱した。反応容器内のバーサチック酸の温度を50±5℃の範囲で保ちながら、3時間撹拌し、バーサチック酸ナトリウム溶液(固形分50質量%)を得た。
<製造例4>
反応は常圧、窒素雰囲気下で行った。攪拌機、還流冷却器、温度計、窒素導入管を備えた反応容器にバーサチック酸 34.6g、水酸化カリウム11.22g、エタノール38.62gを仕込み、撹拌しながら内温が50℃になるまで加熱した。反応容器内のバーサチック酸の温度を50±5℃の範囲で保ちながら、3時間撹拌し、バーサチック酸カリウム溶液(固形分50質量%)を得た。
・配合成分
塗料組成物に用いられる配合成分を表2及び表3に示す。
なお、表2に示す硬化性オルガノポリシロキサン(A)及び無機充填剤(シリカ)(F)の混練物は、硬化性オルガノポリシロキサン(A)と無機充填剤(F)としてシリカを表2に記載の量を用い、公知の方法で混練することにより得たものである。
表4、表5に記載された配合量(質量部)に従って撹拌混合することにより主剤コンポーネント(X)、及び硬化剤コンポーネント(Y)からなる2液型塗料組成物を調製した。2液型塗料組成物を基材へ塗布する際には、主剤コンポーネント(X)、及び硬化剤コンポーネント(Y)を、分散機を用いて均一になるよう十分に撹拌混合した塗料組成物を使用した。
(硬化性)
ISO9117-424に定められた方法で行い、試験機器として、TP技研株式会社製「RC型塗膜乾燥時間測定器I型(ドライングタイムレコーダー)」を使用した。300mm×25mmの長方形のガラスプレート上に0.5mmのアプリケーターを使用して、実施例、及び比較例の防汚塗料組成物を塗布した後、その上に針の先端を置き、任意の速度で針をガラスプレート上で直線に走行させ、硬化の段階(硬化時間)を測定することにより硬化性を評価した。測定は、恒温恒湿室(23℃、50%RH)および低温試験室内(5℃、30%RH)で行った。なお、塗料の硬化の初期段階では塗膜表面に針の痕が見られるが、塗料が一定程度硬化すると針の痕が見られなくなる。
防汚塗料組成物の硬化時間は、ガラスプレート上に防汚塗料組成物を塗布から針の痕が見られなくなるまでの時間とした(単位:時間)。
防汚塗料組成物の主剤コンポーネント(X)および硬化剤コンポーネント(Y)の混合による防汚塗料組成物の調製後、塗料組成物中の成分同士の反応により塗料組成物の粘度は経時的に上昇する。塗料組成物の増粘により塗装作業性は低下していく。この塗装作業性が許容範囲内である時間は一般に可使時間(実用的なポットライフ)と称される。
すなわち、23℃、50%RHの条件下で、実施例9~13の防汚塗料組成物の調製直後に塗料組成物の粘度を測定し(初期粘度)、その後30分ごとに塗料組成物の粘度を測定し、粘度の経時変化の値をグラフ上に直線で結び、その粘度が初期粘度の2倍を上回るまでの時間を10分ごとに判定し、初期粘度の2倍を上回る直前までの時間(単位:分)を防汚塗料組成物の可使時間とした。
<塗膜付き試験板の作製>
エポキシ系防食塗料(中国塗料(株)製「バンノー500」)を塗布したサンドブラスト板に、シリコーン系バインダーコート(中国塗料(株)製「CMPバイオクリンタイコート」を乾燥(硬化)後の厚さが100μmとなるよう塗布し、5℃下で5時間乾燥して下塗り塗膜を形成した。
上記試験板を広島県宮島湾にて静置浸漬して、3か月後に試験板表面に占めるスライムを含めた水生生物の付着面積の比率を目視観察にて評価し、防汚性の評価点とした。
5 : 水生生物の付着面積が試験面全体の1%未満
4 : 水生生物の付着面積が試験面全体の1%以上10%未満
3 : 水生生物の付着面積が試験面全体の10%以上30%未満
2 : 水生生物の付着面積が試験面全体の30%以上60%未満
1 : 水生生物の付着面積が試験面全体の60%以上
また、本発明による防汚塗料組成物が、有機溶剤(H)にアルコール系有機溶剤を含有することにより、塗料組成物を調製した後の可使時間として十分な時間を確保することができる。
Claims (15)
- 1分子中に少なくとも2個のシラノール基を有する硬化性オルガノポリシロキサン(A)、1分子中に少なくとも2個の加水分解性基を有するオルガノシラン及びその部分加水分解縮合物から選ばれる1種以上の有機ケイ素架橋剤(B)、並びに硬化触媒(C)を含有する防汚塗料組成物であって、該硬化触媒(C)が少なくとも1種のアルカリ金属を含むアルカリ金属化合物を含有する、防汚塗料組成物。
- 前記硬化触媒(C)が、さらに亜鉛化合物を含有する、請求項1に記載の防汚塗料組成物。
- 前記アルカリ金属化合物が、炭素数6~24のカルボン酸を含むカルボン酸のアルカリ金属塩である、請求項1又は2に記載の防汚塗料組成物。
- 前記カルボン酸が、2種以上のカルボン酸を含む、請求項3に記載の防汚塗料組成物。
- 前記硬化触媒(C)中のアルカリ金属の含有量が、前記硬化触媒(C)中の金属の総量に対して50質量%以上である、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の防汚塗料組成物。
- 前記防汚塗料組成物中におけるアルカリ金属の含有量が100mg/kg以上である、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の防汚塗料組成物。
- 前記硬化性オルガノポリシロキサン(A)の重量平均分子量が5,000~100,000である、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の防汚塗料組成物。
- さらに、シリコーンオイル(D)、及びエーテル基含有重合体(E)からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種を含有する、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の防汚塗料組成物。
- さらに、有機溶剤(H)を含有し、該有機溶剤(H)が炭素数1~5のアルコール系有機溶剤を含有する、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の防汚塗料組成物。
- 請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の防汚塗料組成物を調製するためのキットであって、
該キットが、前記硬化性オルガノポリシロキサン(A)を含有する主剤コンポーネントと、前記有機ケイ素架橋剤(B)、及び前記硬化触媒(C)を含有する硬化剤コンポーネントとをそれぞれ別個に有する多液型の形態にある、キット。 - 請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の防汚塗料組成物を調製するためのキットであって、
該キットが、前記硬化性オルガノポリシロキサン(A)を含有する主剤コンポーネントと、前記有機ケイ素架橋剤(B)を含有する硬化剤コンポーネントと、添加剤コンポーネントとをそれぞれ別個に有する多液型の形態にあり、
前記硬化触媒(C)が、該硬化剤コンポーネント、及び該添加剤コンポーネントからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1つのコンポーネントに含有される、キット。 - 請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の防汚塗料組成物から形成された防汚塗膜。
- 請求項12に記載の防汚塗膜を基材上に有する、防汚塗膜付き基材。
- 前記基材が船舶、水中構造物又は漁具である、請求項13に記載の防汚塗膜付き基材。
- 下記工程(1)及び工程(2)を有する、又は下記工程(i)及び工程(ii)を有する、防汚塗膜付き基材の製造方法。
工程(1):請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の防汚塗料組成物を基材に塗布又は含浸することにより、塗布体又は含浸体を得る工程
工程(2):前記工程(1)で得られた塗布体又は含浸体を乾燥することにより、前記防汚塗料組成物を硬化させて塗膜を形成する工程
工程(i)請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の防汚塗料組成物を硬化させて塗膜を形成する工程
工程(ii)前記工程(i)で得られた塗膜を基材に貼付する工程
