Abstract

La présente invention empêche la diminution de la fonction de protection d'un matériau de protection par rapport à un matériau métallique pour une étanchéité périphérique. Un panneau de verre selon la présente invention comprend : une paire de plaques de verre (1A, 1B) qui se font face; une partie de vide V qui est formée par un espaceur agencé entre la paire de plaques de verre (1A, 1B); un matériau métallique pour étanchéité périphérique qui remplit une partie périphérique V1 de la paire de plaques de verre (1A, 1B), et qui est directement lié aux plaques de verre (1A, 1B) de façon à sceller hermétiquement la partie de vide V; et un matériau de protection (21) qui est lié aux faces d'extrémité (1AE, 1BE) de la paire de plaques de verre (1A, 1B) et recouvre le matériau métallique (3) pour une étanchéité périphérique, ledit matériau métallique (3) étant chargé dans la partie périphérique V1 de la paire de plaques de verre (1A, 1B). Les faces d'extrémité respectives (1AE, 1BE) de la paire de plaques de verre (1A, 1B) sont recouvertes par le matériau de protection (21), tout en étant pourvues d'une pluralité de rainures (22) qui s'étendent dans la direction longitudinale des plaques de verre.
