Description
本発明は、ステンレス鋼と熱可塑性樹脂部材とを接合してなる樹脂金属接合体及びその製造方法に係り、より詳しくは、陽極酸化被膜を接合膜として、ステンレス鋼と熱可塑性樹脂部材とを接合する樹脂金属接合体及びその製造方法に関する。
近年、家電製品、自動車部品等の種々の分野において、軽量化が要求されており、金属部材から樹脂部材への代替も行われている。
しかし、金属特有の高い剛性、強度、導電性や熱伝導性が要求される分野では、金属部材を樹脂部材に置換することが困難であり、このような分野では金属と樹脂との接合体が研究されている。
金属部材と樹脂部材との接合体の製造方法としては、接着剤を用いる方法、化学エッチングにより金属表面にミクロンサイズの微細な凹凸を形成し、この凹凸に樹脂が入り込んで固まることで、アンカー効果による強固な接合が実現できるアマルファ処理技術、トリアジンチオールの被膜を金属部材表面上に電着により形成する方法、レザー加工による方法などがある。しかし接着剤を用いる方法は、接合強度の点で劣り、アマルファ処理技術、レザー加工による方法は、コストの点で問題がある。また、トリアジンチオールの被膜を活用する方法は、アルミ、銅ではかなりの実績があるが、ステンレス鋼での実績はない。
最近、金属の中でもステンレス鋼の優れた特性と樹脂の軽量性を組み合わせる要求が強くなり、樹脂とステンレス鋼の接合体に対する要望が強くなっている。

常温から50℃で5から50%の塩酸、硫酸、リン酸、または硝酸浴の陽極または陰極に0.2から5Vの定電圧を与えた状態で1から10分浸漬することによる活性化処理工程、からなる。
3. 陽極酸化処理
陽極酸化被膜を形成する工程で、要求される皮膜品質を満足するために、電解浴・電源波形・浴温・攪拌・電解時間など最適条件を選択する必要がある。
本発明による製造法の 陽極酸化処理は、ステンレス鋼を陽極とし、硫酸、リン酸、塩酸各10から30%の酸性薬剤、またはNAOH、KOH各5から50%+リン酸ナトリウム1から5%+炭酸ナトリウム1から5%のアルカリ薬剤にトリアジンチオール誘導体を含む常温から80℃の酸性溶液中で、0.1A/dm2以上1.5A/dm2未満の電流密度を印加して、1から40分浸漬し前記ステンレス鋼上に、膜厚が70~1500nmの、トリアジンチオール誘導体が内部及び上部に存在する陽極酸化被膜を形成する。
4. 後処理
本発明では製造法の後処理として、トリアジンチオールが存在する陽極酸化被膜が形成されたステンレス鋼を、5℃以上60℃未満の温度の水で洗浄する水洗工程を行い、水洗後の、トリアジンチオールが存在する陽極酸化被膜が形成されたステンレス鋼に、熱可塑性樹脂をインサート成形する工程が続く。
図1は、本発明の樹脂ステンレス鋼接合体の製造工程を示すフローチャートである。
陽極酸化処理の基本工程は次のようなものである。
予備処理 → 前処理 → 陽極酸化処理 → 後処理
1. 予備処理
樹脂ステンレス鋼接合体の製造ライン外で行なわれる処理で、バフ研磨・ヘアーライン・梨地・模様付けなど、皮膜の仕上がりに影響を与える処理である。
2. 前処理
脱脂・エッチングなど素地表面の清浄・溶解の工程で、この工程が悪いとシミ・ムラなどが発生する。本発明による製造法の前処理は
常温から50℃のNAOH、KOH、またはNA2CO3+陽イオン活性剤に1から10分浸漬することにより行われる脱脂工程、
常温から50℃で5から50%の塩酸、硫酸、リン酸、または硝酸浴に1から10分浸漬することによる酸処理工程、
常温から50℃で5から50%の塩酸、硫酸、リン酸、または硝酸浴の陽極または陰極に0.2から5Vの定電圧を与えた状態で1から10分浸漬することによる活性化処理工程、からなる。
3. 陽極酸化処理
陽極酸化被膜を形成する工程で、要求される皮膜品質を満足するために、電解浴・電源波形・浴温・攪拌・電解時間など最適条件を選択する必要がある。
本発明による製造法の 陽極酸化処理は、ステンレス鋼を陽極とし、硫酸、リン酸、塩酸各10から30%の酸性薬剤、またはNAOH、KOH各5から50%+リン酸ナトリウム1から5%+炭酸ナトリウム1から5%のアルカリ薬剤にトリアジンチオール誘導体を含む常温から80℃の酸性溶液中で、0.1A/dm2以上1.5A/dm2未満の電流密度を印加して、1から40分浸漬し前記ステンレス鋼上に、膜厚が70~1500nmの、トリアジンチオール誘導体が内部及び上部に存在する陽極酸化被膜を形成する。
4. 後処理
本発明では製造法の後処理として、トリアジンチオールが存在する陽極酸化被膜が形成されたステンレス鋼を、5℃以上60℃未満の温度の水で洗浄する水洗工程を行い、水洗後の、トリアジンチオールが存在する陽極酸化被膜が形成されたステンレス鋼に、熱可塑性樹脂をインサート成形する工程が続く。
本発明の上記製造法で得られた樹脂金属接合体は、図3,4に示す通り、40MPa以上の接合強度を有することが分かる。
図4の左欄は常温での値を示し、真中の欄は、-40℃と80℃間を30分で150サイクル往復させる熱衝撃付与後の値を示すものであり、右欄は、温度80℃、湿度95%の環境に200時間放置した後の高温高湿試験の結果であが、図3、4に示す通り、常温、熱衝撃付加、高温高湿の状態での接合強度は、平均値で何れも45MPa以上の接着強度を有している。
図4の左欄は常温での値を示し、真中の欄は、-40℃と80℃間を30分で150サイクル往復させる熱衝撃付与後の値を示すものであり、右欄は、温度80℃、湿度95%の環境に200時間放置した後の高温高湿試験の結果であが、図3、4に示す通り、常温、熱衝撃付加、高温高湿の状態での接合強度は、平均値で何れも45MPa以上の接着強度を有している。
以下、本発明の実施例について説明する。
使用したSUS304,SUS316L板は、図5に示す通り、板厚3mm×板幅12mm×長さ40mmであり、実施例のサンプルの写真を図6に示す
図7、及び図8は、SUS304,SUS316L板にTRI処理を施したものであり、サンプル表面に明白な凹凸が形成されている様子が伺える。
図10は、インサート成型したサンプルの写真であり、図11は、サンプルを引張試験した際の接合部破断面のSUS304及び樹脂部の断面写真である。
図12は、ヘリウムリークテスト用のサンプル写真である。
TRIシステムの封止性(気密性)テストは、加圧ガスとしてアルゴンガスが多く用いられるが、その際の実験温度は、25℃、加圧圧力は7kgf/cm2、加圧実験時間は5分である。
本発明のヘリウムによる実施例では、接合強度が30~40MPa、気密性がヘリウムリーク10-9Pam3/s以下であった。
図9は、サンプル処理用の冶具の写真であり、図13は実験室のテスト状況を示す図である。
使用したSUS304,SUS316L板は、図5に示す通り、板厚3mm×板幅12mm×長さ40mmであり、実施例のサンプルの写真を図6に示す
図7、及び図8は、SUS304,SUS316L板にTRI処理を施したものであり、サンプル表面に明白な凹凸が形成されている様子が伺える。

Claims (5)
- ステンレス鋼と熱可塑性樹脂部材とを接合してなる樹脂金属接合体であって、
前記ステンレス鋼と、熱可塑性樹脂部材とが、膜厚20~2000nmの陽極酸化被膜により接合されることを特徴とする樹脂金属接合体。 - ステンレス鋼と熱可塑性樹脂部材とを接合してなる樹脂金属接合体であって、
前記ステンレス鋼と、熱可塑性樹脂部材とが、膜厚20~2000nmのトリアジンチオールを内部及び上部に存在させた陽極酸化被膜により接合されることを特徴とする樹脂金属接合体。 - 前記陽極酸化被膜は、重量%で、Si3%以下、Cr1から30%、Mn1%以下、Ni10%以下、残部がFe30から80%の構成を有することを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の樹脂金属接合体。
- 樹脂ステンレス鋼接合体を製造する製造法であって、
ステンレス鋼をアルカリ溶液で洗浄する脱脂工程、
前記脱脂工程後、ステンレス鋼を酸性溶液で洗浄する酸処理工程、
前記酸処理工程後、ステンレス鋼を酸性溶液またはアルカリ溶液で活性化する活性化処理工程、
前記ステンレス鋼を陽極とし、20から90℃の水溶液中で、0.1A/dm2以上1.5A/dm2未満の電流密度を印加して、前記ステンレス鋼上に、膜厚が20~2000nmの陽極酸化被膜を形成する工程、
前記陽極酸化被膜が形成されたステンレス鋼を、5℃以上60℃未満の温度の水で洗浄する水洗工程、
前記水洗後の、前記陽極酸化被膜が形成されたステンレス鋼に、熱可塑性樹脂をインサート成形する工程、
により前記ステンレス鋼と該熱可塑性樹脂とを接合することを特徴とする樹脂金属接合体の製造方法。 - 樹脂ステンレス鋼接合体を製造する製造法であって、
ステンレス鋼をアルカリ溶液で洗浄する脱脂工程、
前記脱脂工程後、ステンレス鋼を酸性溶液で洗浄する酸処理工程、
前記酸処理工程後、ステンレス鋼を酸性溶液またはアルカリ溶液で活性化する活性化処理工程、
前記ステンレス鋼を陽極とし、20から90℃のトリアジンチオール誘導体を含む水溶液中で、0.1A/dm2以上1.5A/dm2未満の電流密度を印加して、前記ステンレス鋼上に、膜厚が20~2000nmの陽極酸化被膜を形成する工程、
前記トリアジンチオールが存在する陽極酸化被膜が形成されたステンレス鋼を、5℃以上60℃未満の温度の水で洗浄する水洗工程、
前記水洗後の、前記トリアジンチオールが存在する陽極酸化被膜が形成されたステンレス鋼に、熱可塑性樹脂をインサート成形する工程、
により前記ステンレス鋼と該熱可塑性樹脂とを接合することを特徴とする樹脂金属接合体の製造方法。
