図1の通り、プラスチック袋は、2層の胴材1と、一対のサイドガセット材2とを有する。一対のサイドガセット材2は、胴材1の両側縁3に沿ってのび、胴材1の両層間に折り込まれて、2つ折りされている。したがって、サイドガセット材2は、2つ折り内側縁4と開放外側縁5とを有する。

- 2層の胴材と、
前記胴材の両側縁に沿ってのび、前記胴材の両層間に折り込まれ、2つ折りされており、2つ折り内側縁および開放外側縁を有する一対のサイドガセット材と、を備え、
前記サイドガセット材の一端部分が、折り込み線に沿って前記サイドガセット材の両層間に折り込まれ、2つ折りされることで、フラップが前記サイドガセット材の両層間に形成され、
前記フラップは、
前記サイドガセット材の前記2つ折り内側縁によって形成された折り縁と、
前記サイドガセット材の一端縁によって形成された開放縁と、を有し、
前記胴材と前記サイドガセット材同士の前記胴材の両側縁に沿ったヒートシールにより第1ヒートシール部分が形成され、前記フラップの両層同士のその開放縁に沿ったヒートシールにより第2ヒートシール部分が形成されたプラスチック袋において、
前記フラップは、
直線でまたは湾曲してのび、前記折り込み線とは反対側で前記折り縁と前記開放縁とをつなぐ接続縁を、さらに有する
ことを特徴とするプラスチック袋。 - 前記第2ヒートシール部分は、前記開放縁に沿ってのびる基礎部分と、当該基礎部分から前記折り縁にまで達する補完部分とを有する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラスチック袋。 - 前記第1ヒートシール部分は、前記胴材の両側縁に沿ってのびる基礎部分と、当該基礎部分から袋の内方に向けて突出する突出部分とを有し、前記第1ヒートシール部分の前記突出部分と前記第2ヒートシール部分の前記補完部分とが、前記胴材の両側縁に沿った同じ位置に形成されている
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のプラスチック袋。 - 前記折り縁と前記開放縁とで形成される前記フラップの角部分が切除されており、その切除縁によって前記接続縁が形成されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のプラスチック袋。 - 前記折り縁と前記開放縁とで形成される前記フラップの角部分が、前記フラップの両層間に折り込まれ、2つ折りされており、その折り込み線によって前記接続縁が形成されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のプラスチック袋。 - 2層の連続胴材をその連続方向に間欠送りし、
2つ折りされたサイドガセット材の2つ折り内側縁と一端縁とで形成される角部分を切除し、その切除縁によって、直線でまたは湾曲してのびる接続縁を前記サイドガセット材に形成し、
前記サイドガセット材を前記連続胴材に供給し、前記連続胴材の両層を重ね合わせて、前記サイドガセット材が、前記連続胴材の両層間に、前記連続胴材の送り方向に直角の方向に配置されるようにし、
前記サイドガセット材が前記連続胴材の両層間に配置される前または配置された後、前記サイドガセット材の一端部分を前記サイドガセット材の両層間に折り込むことで、前記接続縁を有するフラップが前記サイドガセット材の両層間に形成されるようにし、
前記連続胴材の間欠送り毎に、前記連続胴材と前記サイドガセット材とを前記連続胴材の送り方向に直角の方向に互いにヒートシールし、前記フラップの両層を前記連続胴材の送り方向に直角の方向に互いにヒートシールし、
前記連続胴材の間欠送り毎に、前記連続胴材と前記サイドガセット材とをそのヒートシール部分に沿って切断し、これによりプラスチック袋を製造する
ことを特徴とするプラスチック袋の製造方法。 - 前記サイドガセット材が前記連続胴材の両層間に配置された後、前記サイドガセット材の一端部分において、前記連続胴材と前記サイドガセット材とを互いに仮止めし、前記連続胴材の一方の層をその連続方向に平行な折り曲げ線に沿って前記連続胴材の他方の層から離れる方向に折り曲げ、前記折り曲げ線に沿って折り戻して、前記フラップが前記サイドガセット材の両層間に形成されるようにする
ことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のプラスチック袋の製造方法。
