Abstract
Description
通常、代表的なポリカーボネート樹脂としては、原料の二価フェノールとして、2,2-ビス(4-ヒドロキシフェニル)プロパン〔通称:ビスフェノールA。「BPA」と略記することがある〕を用いたホモポリカーボネートが一般的に使用されている。このホモポリカーボネートの難燃性及び耐衝撃性等の物性を改良するために、ポリオルガノシロキサンを共重合モノマーとして用いたポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物としてのポリカーボネート-ポリオルガノシロキサン共重合体(以下、「PC-POS」と略記することがある)が知られている(特許文献1~3参照)。
ポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物の耐衝撃性、特に低温下での耐衝撃性を改善する場合には、特許文献3に開示されるように、鎖長の長いポリオルガノシロキサンを用いる方法が知られている。しかし、この方法では、透明性が低下するという問題があった。
逆に、ポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物の透明性をより改善するためには、比較的鎖長の短いポリオルガノシロキサンを用いる方法が知られている(特許文献4,5参照)。しかし、この方法では、耐衝撃性が低下するという問題があった。
また、特許文献6では、光線透過率の相違する2種類のポリカーボネート-ポリオルガノシロキサン共重合体の配合によって、優れた耐衝撃性を維持しつつ透明性を向上させる試みがなされているが、その透明性は十分とは言えないものであった。
このように、これまでのポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物において、透明性、耐衝撃性及び難燃性の全てに優れた性能を有することは困難であった。
すなわち本発明は、下記1~14に関する。
1.ポリカーボネート-ポリオルガノシロキサン共重合体(E-1)を含むポリカーボネート系樹脂及び難燃剤(C)を含むポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物であって、
前記ポリカーボネート系樹脂100質量部に対して、難燃剤(C)0.001~1質量部を含み、
前記ポリカーボネート-ポリオルガノシロキサン共重合体(E-1)が、下記一般式(I)で表される繰り返し単位からなるポリカーボネートブロック(A)及び下記一般式(II)で表される繰り返し単位を含むポリオルガノシロキサンブロック(B)を有し、
前記ポリオルガノシロキサンブロック(B)のポリスチレンを換算基準としたゲル浸透クロマトグラフ法による測定から得られる、横軸が分子量Mの対数値log(M)であり、縦軸が濃度分率wを分子量の対数値log(M)で微分したdw/dlog(M)である微分分子量分布曲線において、
(1)dw/dlog(M)の値が、3.4≦log(M)≦4.0の範囲で最大となり、
(2)前記微分分子量分布曲線において、4.00≦log(M)≦4.50の範囲でdw/dlog(M)値を積分した値が、log(M)の全範囲でdw/dlog(M)値を積分した値に対して6~40%である、ポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物。

以下の記載において、特に断りのない限り、「本発明のポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物」とは、上記第1の形態、第2の形態及び第3の形態のポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物のすべてを指すものとする。
また、成形温度を上げることによりポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物の粘度を下げることも可能であるが、その場合、成形サイクルが長くなり経済性に劣るほか、温度を上げすぎるとポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物の熱劣化により透明性が低下する傾向がある。
なお、粘度平均分子量(Mv)は、20℃における塩化メチレン溶液(濃度単位:g/L)の極限粘度〔η〕を測定し、Schnellの式(〔η〕=1.23×10-5×Mv0.83)より算出した値である。
本発明のポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物としては、ポリカーボネート-ポリオルガノシロキサン共重合体(E-1)を含むポリカーボネート系樹脂が用いられる。ポリカーボネート-ポリオルガノシロキサン共重合体(E-1)は、下記一般式(I)で表される繰り返し単位からなるポリカーボネートブロック(A)及び下記一般式(II)で表される繰り返し単位を含むポリオルガノシロキサンブロック(B)を有する。
R1及びR2がそれぞれ独立して示すアルキル基としては、メチル基、エチル基、n-プロピル基、イソプロピル基、各種ブチル基(「各種」とは、直鎖状及びあらゆる分岐鎖状のものを含むことを示し、以下、同様である。)、各種ペンチル基、及び各種ヘキシル基が挙げられる。R1及びR2がそれぞれ独立して示すアルコキシ基としては、アルキル基部位が前記アルキル基である場合が挙げられる。
Xが表すアルキレン基としては、例えば、メチレン基、エチレン基、トリメチレン基、テトラメチレン基、ヘキサメチレン基等が挙げられ、炭素数1~5のアルキレン基が好ましい。Xが表すアルキリデン基としては、エチリデン基、イソプロピリデン基等が挙げられる。Xが表すシクロアルキレン基としては、シクロペンタンジイル基やシクロヘキサンジイル基、シクロオクタンジイル基等が挙げられ、炭素数5~10のシクロアルキレン基が好ましい。Xが表すシクロアルキリデン基としては、例えば、シクロヘキシリデン基、3,5,5-トリメチルシクロヘキシリデン基、2-アダマンチリデン基等が挙げられ、炭素数5~10のシクロアルキリデン基が好ましく、炭素数5~8のシクロアルキリデン基がより好ましい。Xが表すアリールアルキレン基のアリール部位としては、フェニル基、ナフチル基、ビフェニル基、アントリル基などの環形成炭素数6~14のアリール基が挙げられる。Xが表すアリールアルキリデン基のアリール部位としては、フェニル基、ナフチル基、ビフェニル基、アントリル基などの環形成炭素数6~14のアリール基が挙げられる。
a及びbは、それぞれ独立に0~4の整数を示し、好ましくは0~2、より好ましくは0又は1である。
中でも、a及びbが0であり、Xが単結合又は炭素数2~8のアルキリデン基であるもの、又はa及びbが0であり、Xが炭素数3のアルキリデン基、特にイソプロピリデン基であるものが好適である。
なお、R3及びR4としては、いずれも、好ましくは、水素原子、炭素数1~6のアルキル基、炭素数1~6のアルコキシ基又は炭素数6~12のアリール基であり、いずれもメチル基であることがより好ましい。
[式中、R3~R6は、それぞれ独立に、水素原子、ハロゲン原子、炭素数1~6のアルキル基、炭素数1~6のアルコキシ基又は炭素数6~12のアリール基を示し、複数のR3~R6は、互いに同一であっても異なっていてもよい。Yは-R7O-、-R7COO-、-R7NH-、-R7NR8-、-COO-、-S-、-R7COO-R9-O-、又は-R7O-R10-O-を示し、複数のYは、互いに同一であっても異なっていてもよい。前記R7は、単結合、直鎖、分岐鎖若しくは環状アルキレン基、アリール置換アルキレン基、置換又は無置換のアリーレン基、又はジアリーレン基を示す。R8は、アルキル基、アルケニル基、アリール基、又はアラルキル基を示す。R9は、ジアリーレン基を示す。R10は、直鎖、分岐鎖もしくは環状アルキレン基、又はジアリーレン基を示す。βは、ジイソシアネート化合物由来の2価の基、又はジカルボン酸若しくはジカルボン酸のハロゲン化物由来の2価の基を示す。pとqはそれぞれ1以上の整数であり、pとqの和はn-2である。nは、ポリオルガノシロキサンの平均鎖長を表す。]
R3~R6としては、いずれも、好ましくは、水素原子、炭素数1~6のアルキル基、炭素数1~6のアルコキシ基又は炭素数6~12のアリール基である。
一般式(II-I)、(II-II)及び/又は(II-III)中の、R3~R6がいずれもメチル基であるものが好ましい。
(1)dw/dlog(M)の値が、3.4≦log(M)≦4.0の範囲で最大となる。
(2)微分分子量分布曲線において、4.00≦log(M)≦4.50の範囲でdw/dlog(M)値を積分した値が、log(M)の全範囲でdw/dlog(M)値を積分した値に対して6~40%である。
本発明に用いられるポリオルガノシロキサンは、ポリスチレンを換算基準としたゲル浸透クロマトグラフ法による測定から得られる、横軸が分子量Mの対数値log(M)であり、縦軸が濃度分率wを分子量の対数値log(M)で微分したdw/dlog(M)である微分分子量分布曲線において、
(1)dw/dlog(M)の値が、3.4≦log(M)≦4.0の範囲で最大となり、
(2)前記微分分子量分布曲線において、4.00≦log(M)≦4.50の範囲でdw/dlog(M)値を積分した値が、log(M)の全範囲でdw/dlog(M)値を積分した値に対して6~40%のポリオルガノシロキサンである。

R3~R6としては、いずれも、好ましくは、水素原子、炭素数1~6のアルキル基、炭素数1~6のアルコキシ基又は炭素数6~12のアリール基である。
一般式(2)、(3)及び/又は(4)で表されるポリオルガノシロキサンとしては、R3~R6がいずれもメチル基であるものが好ましい。
[式中cは正の整数を示し、通常1~6の整数である。]
R7、Ar1及びAr2が表すアリーレン基としては、フェニレン基、ナフチレン基、ビフェニレン基、アントリレン基などの環形成炭素数6~14のアリーレン基が挙げられる。これらアリーレン基は、アルコキシ基、アルキル基等の任意の置換基を有していてもよい。
R8が示すアルキル基としては炭素数1~8、好ましくは1~5の直鎖又は分岐鎖のものである。アルケニル基としては、炭素数2~8、好ましくは2~5の直鎖又は分岐鎖のものが挙げられる。アリール基としてはフェニル基、ナフチル基等が挙げられる。アラルキル基としては、フェニルメチル基、フェニルエチル基等が挙げられる。
R10が示す直鎖、分岐鎖もしくは環状アルキレン基は、R7と同様である。
なお、一般式(3)中のp及びqについては、p=q、すなわち、p=(n-2)/2、q=(n-2)/2であることが好ましい。
nは上述した通り、好ましくは20~85、より好ましくは20~75、さらに好ましくは20~60である。
また、βは、ジイソシアネート化合物由来の2価の基又はジカルボン酸又はジカルボン酸のハロゲン化物由来の2価の基を示し、例えば、以下の一般式(7-1)~(7-5)で表される2価の基が挙げられる。
これらの中でも、重合の容易さの観点においては、上記一般式(2-1)で表されるフェノール変性ポリオルガノシロキサンが好ましい。また、入手の容易さの観点においては、上記一般式(2-2)で表される化合物中の一種であるα,ω-ビス[3-(o-ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピル]ポリジメチルシロキサン、上記一般式(2-3)で表される化合物中の一種であるα,ω-ビス[3-(4-ヒドロキシ-3-メトキシフェニル)プロピル]ポリジメチルシロキサンが好ましい。
続いて、各分子量の対数値における曲線の微分値(すなわち、積分分子量曲線の傾き)を求め、横軸に分子量の対数値(log(M))、縦軸に上記微分値(dw/dlog(M))をプロットして微分分子量分布曲線を得ることができる。従って、微分分子量分布とは、濃度分率(w)を分子量の対数値(log(M))で微分した値、すなわち「dw/dlog(M)」を意味する。この微分分子量分布曲線から、特定のlog(M)における微分分子量分布dw/dlog(M)を読み取ることができる。なお、複数のポリオルガノシロキサンを配合したポリオルガノシロキサン配合物についても、ポリオルガノシロキサン配合物をGPC法により測定した後、同じ手法により微分分子量分布曲線を得ることができる。
吸着剤としては、例えば、1000Å以下の平均細孔直径を有するものを用いることができる。平均細孔直径が1000Å以下であれば、粗ポリオルガノシロキサン中の遷移金属を効率的に除去することができる。このような観点から、吸着剤の平均細孔直径は、好ましくは500Å以下、より好ましくは200Å以下、更に好ましくは150Å以下、より更に好ましくは100Å以下である。また同様の観点から、吸着剤は多孔性吸着剤であることが好ましい。
遷移金属の吸着後に吸着剤をポリオルガノシロキサンから分離する観点から、吸着剤の平均粒子径は、通常1μm~4mm、好ましくは1~100μmである。
本発明に用いるPC-POS共重合体(E-1)を製造する方法としては、界面重合法(ホスゲン法)、ピリジン法、エステル交換法等の公知の製造方法を用いることができる。特に界面重合法の場合に、PC-POS共重合体(E-1)を含む有機相と未反応物や触媒残渣等を含む水相との分離工程が容易となり、アルカリ洗浄、酸洗浄、純水洗浄による各洗浄工程におけるPC-POS共重合体(E-1)を含む有機相と水相との分離が容易となり、効率よくPC-POS共重合体(E-1)が得られる。
具体的には、予め製造された芳香族ポリカーボネートオリゴマーと、上記ポリオルガノシロキサンとを、非水溶性有機溶媒(塩化メチレン等)に溶解させ、二価フェノール系化合物(ビスフェノールA等)のアルカリ性化合物水溶液(水酸化ナトリウム水溶液等)を加え、重合触媒として第三級アミン(トリエチルアミン等)や第四級アンモニウム塩(トリメチルベンジルアンモニウムクロライド等)を用い、末端停止剤(p-t-ブチルフェノール等の1価フェノール)の存在下、界面重縮合反応させることにより製造できる。また、PC-POS共重合体(E-1)は、ポリオルガノシロキサンと、二価フェノールと、ホスゲン、炭酸エステル又はクロロホーメートとを共重合させることによっても製造できる。
二価フェノールとしては、下記一般式(i)で表される二価フェノールを用いることが好ましい。
式中、R1、R2、a、b及びXは上述した通りである。
これらの中でも、ビス(ヒドロキシフェニル)アルカン類が好ましく、ビスフェノールAがより好ましい。二価フェノールとしてビスフェノールAを用いた場合、前記一般式(i)において、Xがイソプロピリデン基であり、且つa=b=0となる。
また、成形温度を上げることによりPC-POS共重合体(E-1)の粘度を下げることも可能であるが、その場合、成形サイクルが長くなり経済性に劣るほか、温度を上げすぎるとPC-POS共重合体(E-1)の熱劣化により透明性が低下する傾向がある。
なお、粘度平均分子量(Mv)は、20℃における塩化メチレン溶液(濃度単位:g/L)の極限粘度〔η〕を測定し、Schnellの式(〔η〕=1.23×10-5×Mv0.83)より算出した値である。
本発明のポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物に用いられる難燃剤(C)としては、有機アルカリ金属塩及び有機アルカリ土類金属塩が挙げられる。これらは、1種を単独でも又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いることができる。難燃剤(C)としては、有機アルカリ金属塩及び有機アルカリ土類金属塩のいずれか1種であることが好ましい。
上記アルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属(以下、両者を合わせて「アルカリ(土類)金属」と記載することがある)の有機スルホン酸塩としては、パーフルオロアルカンスルホン酸とアルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属との金属塩のようなフッ素置換アルキルスルホン酸の金属塩、並びに芳香族スルホン酸とアルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属との金属塩等が挙げられる。
これらのアルカリ金属の中でも、難燃性と熱安定性の観点からカリウム及びナトリウムが好ましく、特にカリウムが好ましい。
カリウム塩と他のアルカリ金属からなるスルホン酸アルカリ金属塩とを併用することもできる。
ここでパーフルオロアルキル基の炭素数は、1~18が好ましく、1~10がより好ましく、更に好ましくは1~8である。
これらの中で、特にパーフルオロブタンスルホン酸カリウムが好ましい。
これら芳香族スルホン酸アルカリ(土類)金属塩では、特にナトリウム塩及びカリウム塩が好適である。
本発明のポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物には、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲で、その他の添加剤を含ませることができる。その他の添加剤としては、離型剤及び染料等を挙げることができる。
配合及び混練は、通常用いられている機器、例えば、リボンブレンダー、ドラムタンブラーなどで予備混合して、ヘンシェルミキサー、バンバリーミキサー、単軸スクリュー押出機、二軸スクリュー押出機、多軸スクリュー押出機及びコニーダ等を用いる方法で行うことができる。混練の際の加熱温度は、通常、240~320℃の範囲で適宜選択される。この溶融混練成形としては、押出成形機、特に、ベント式の押出成形機の使用が好ましい。
本発明のポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物は、上記の溶融混練成形機、又は、得られたペレットを原料として、射出成形法、射出圧縮成形法、押出成形法、ブロー成形法、プレス成形法、真空成形法及び発泡成形法等により各種成形体を製造することができる。特に、得られたペレットを用いて、射出成形及び射出圧縮成形による射出成形体の製造に好適に用いることができる。
本発明のポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物からなる成型体は、例えば、
(1)テレビ、ラジオカセット、ビデオカメラ、ビデオテープレコーダ、オーディオプレーヤー、DVDプレーヤー、エアコンディショナ、携帯電話、ディスプレイ、コンピュータ、レジスター、電卓、複写機、プリンター、ファクシミリ等の電気及び電子機器用部品、
(2)上記(1)の電気及び電子機器用の筐体等として好適に用いることができる。
ポリオルガノシロキサンのGPC測定は以下の条件で行った。

検量線の作製には、東ソー株式会社製の標準ポリスチレンを用いた。
得られたPC-POS共重合体のフレーク4.3gにメチレンクロライドを20mL加え、完全に溶解した。マグネチックスターラーで撹拌しながら、水酸化ナトリウムのメタノール溶液(48質量%のNaOH水溶液とメタノールを容積比で1:9の割合で混合したもの)20mLを加え、30分撹拌した。析出したPC由来の固形分結晶を溶解するため、イオン交換水25mLを加え1分間撹拌後、静置することで有機層と水層に分離し有機層を得た。有機層に有機層の15容積%の0.03mol/LのNaOH水溶液を加え撹拌により洗浄後、静置分離し有機層を得る操作を二回実施した。得られた有機層に有機層の15容積%の0.2mol/Lの塩酸を加え撹拌により洗浄後、静置分離し有機層を得た。次に、有機層を有機層の15容積%の純水を加え撹拌により洗浄後、静置分離し有機層を得た。得られた有機層を乾燥機にて60℃で16時間乾燥した。得られたサンプルをGPCにて測定した。ここで、得られるGPCスペクトルにおいて、ポリスチレン換算分子量でlog[M]2.0以上3.0未満に最大値を持つPC由来の低分子量成分と、log[M]3.0以上4.5未満に最大値を持つPOS成分であることが分かる。このPOSのスペクトルについて確認することで、用いたポリオルガノシロキサンの分子量分布を確認することができる。
NMR測定によって、ポリジメチルシロキサンのメチル基の積分値比により算出した。

粘度平均分子量(Mv)は、ウベローデ型粘度計を用いて、20℃における塩化メチレン溶液(濃度単位:g/L)の粘度を測定し、これより極限粘度[η]を求め、次式(Schnell式)にて算出した。

5.6質量%の水酸化ナトリウム水溶液に、ビスフェノールA(BPA)(後から溶解する)に対して2000ppmの亜二チオン酸ナトリウムを加えた。これにBPA濃度が13.5質量%となるようにBPAを溶解し、BPAの水酸化ナトリウム水溶液を調製した。このBPAの水酸化ナトリウム水溶液を40L/hr、塩化メチレンを15L/hr、及びホスゲンを4.0kg/hrの流量で内径6mm、管長30mの管型反応器に連続的に通した。管型反応器はジャケット部分を有しており、ジャケットに冷却水を通して反応液の温度を40℃以下に保った。管型反応器を出た反応液を、後退翼を備えた内容積40Lのバッフル付き槽型反応器へ連続的に導入し、ここにさらにBPAの水酸化ナトリウム水溶液を2.8L/hr、25質量%の水酸化ナトリウム水溶液を0.07L/hr、水を17L/hr、1質量%のトリエチルアミン水溶液を0.64L/hrの流量で添加して反応を行なった。槽型反応器から溢れ出る反応液を連続的に抜き出し、静置することで水相を分離除去し、塩化メチレン相を採取した。
このようにして得られたポリカーボネートオリゴマーは濃度330g/L、クロロホーメート基濃度0.71mol/Lであった。
製造例1(PC-POS共重合体A-1の製造)
邪魔板、パドル型撹拌翼及び冷却用ジャケットを備えた50L槽型反応器に上記の通り製造したポリカーボネートオリゴマー溶液13.5L、塩化メチレン11.4L、及び平均鎖長n=64、dw/dlog(M)が最大値となるlog(M)が3.7、log(M)4.00~4.50の範囲でdw/dlog(M)値を積分した値がlog(M)の全範囲でdw/dlog(M)値を積分した値に対して(以下、実施例においてはlog(M)4.00~4.50の割合と呼ぶことがある)15.0%であるアリルフェノール末端変性ポリジメチルシロキサン(以下、ポリジメチルシロキサンをPDMSと呼ぶことがある)350gを塩化メチレン800mLに溶解したもの、並びにトリエチルアミン7.9mLを仕込み、撹拌下でここに6.4質量%の水酸化ナトリウム水溶液1284gを加え、20分間ポリカーボネートオリゴマーとアリルフェノール末端変性PDMSの反応を行った。なお、ここで用いたアリルフェノール末端変性PDMSは、平均鎖長n=34,dw/dlog(M)が最大値となるlog(M)が3.6,log(M)4.00~4.50の割合が5.6%のアリルフェノール末端変性PDMSと、平均鎖長n=92,dw/dlog(M)が最大値となるlog(M)が4.1,log(M)4.00~4.50の割合が34.8%のアリルフェノール末端変性PDMSとを質量比5:5で配合したものである。
この重合液に、p-t-ブチルフェノール(PTBP)の塩化メチレン溶液(PTBP128.1gを塩化メチレン1.3Lに溶解したもの)、BPAの水酸化ナトリウム水溶液(NaOH567gと亜二チオン酸ナトリウム1.9gとを水8.3Lに溶解した水溶液にBPA997gを溶解させたもの)を添加し40分間重合反応を実施した。
希釈のため塩化メチレン10Lを加え20分間撹拌した後、PC-PDMSを含む有機相と過剰のBPA及びNaOHを含む水相に分離し、有機相を単離した。
こうして得られたPC-PDMSの塩化メチレン溶液を、その溶液に対して、15容積%の0.03mol/L NaOH水溶液、0.2N塩酸で順次洗浄し、次いで洗浄後の水相中の電気伝導度が0.01μS/m以下になるまで純水で洗浄を繰り返した。
洗浄により得られたポリカーボネートの塩化メチレン溶液を濃縮・粉砕し、得られたフレークを減圧下120℃で乾燥した。PDMS濃度は6.0質量%、ISO1628-4(1999)に準拠して測定した粘度数は47.7、粘度平均分子量Mv=17,800であった。このようにして、PC-PDMS(E-1)として、PC-POS共重合体A-1を得た。
ここで、得られたPC-POS共重合体A-1中のポリオルガノシロキサンブロック(B)のGPC測定を行ったところ、平均鎖長n=51、dw/dlog(M)が最大値となるlog(M)は3.7、log(M)4.00~4.50の割合は15.0%であった。
製造例2(PC-POS共重合体A-2の製造)
製造例1において用いたアリルフェノール末端変性PDMSを、平均鎖長n=34、dw/dlog(M)が最大値を取るときのlog(M)が3.6、log(M)4.00~4.50の割合が5.6%のアリルフェノール末端変性PDMSに、ポリカーボネートオリゴマー溶液に加える塩化メチレンを6.7Lに変えた以外は製造例1と同様に行って、PC-POS共重合体A-2のフレークを得た。得られたフレークのPDMS量は6.0質量%、ISO1628-4(1999)に準拠して測定した粘度数は47.3、粘度平均分子量は17,500であった。
製造例3(PC-POS共重合体A-3の製造)
製造例1において用いたアリルフェノール末端変性PDMSを、平均鎖長n=92、dw/dlog(M)が最大値を取るときのlog(M)が4.1、log(M)4.00~4.50の割合が34.8%のアリルフェノール末端変性PDMSを350gに、ポリカーボネートオリゴマー溶液に加える塩化メチレンを6.7Lに変えた以外は製造例1と同様に行って、PC-POS共重合体A-3のフレークを得た。得られたフレークのPDMS量は6.0質量%、ISO1628-4(1999)に準拠して測定した粘度数は47.4、粘度平均分子量は17,700であった。
難燃剤:「メガファックF114(商品名)」[パーフルオロブタンスルホン酸カリウム、DIC株式会社製]
酸化防止剤:「IRGAFOS168(商品名)」[トリス(2,4-ジ-t-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト、BASFジャパン株式会社製]
製造例1~3で得られたPC-POS共重合体、及びその他の各成分を表1に示す配合割合(単位;質量部)で混合し、ベント式二軸押出機(東芝機械株式会社製、「TEM35B」)に供給し、スクリュー回転数150rpm、吐出量20kg/hr、樹脂温度295~300℃にて溶融混練し、評価用ペレットサンプルを得た。この評価用ペレットサンプルを120℃で8時間乾燥させた後、射出成形機(日精樹脂工業株式会社製、「NEX110」、スクリュー径36mmΦ)を用いて、シリンダー温度280℃、金型温度80℃にて、射出成形してIzod試験片(63×13×3.2mmのIzod試験片2個)を作成した。さらに乾燥させた評価用ペレットを射出成形機(株式会社ニイガタマシンテクノ社製、「MD50XB」、スクリュー径30mmφ)を用いて、シリンダー温度280℃、金型温度80℃にて透明性評価用3段プレート(90mm×50mm、3mm厚部分45mm×50mm、2mm厚部分22.5mm×50mm、1mm厚部分22.5mm×50mm)を作成した。評価試験結果について、表1に示す。
なお、PC系樹脂の透明性の評価のために、PC-POS共重合体A-1~A-3のそれぞれについて上記と同様にして透明性評価用3段プレートを作成し、全光線透過率(Tt)を測定した。
<全光線透過率(Tt)及びヘイズ値>
上記3段プレートの3mm厚部分について、全光線透過率についてはISO13468に基づいて3回測定し、ヘイズ値についてはISO14782に基づいて3回測定し、それぞれその平均を求めた。
射出成形機で作製した厚み3.2mm(約1/8インチ)の試験片に後加工にてノッチを付与した試験片を用いて、ASTM規格D-256に準拠して、測定温度23℃及び-40℃におけるノッチ付きアイゾット衝撃強度を測定した。その判断基準として23℃で55kJ/m2以上であれば、23℃での耐衝撃性が優れており、-40℃で40kJ/m2以上であれば、低温での耐衝撃性が優れていることを示すものである。
厚み1.0mm、1.5mm及び2.0mmの2つの試験片(長さ12.7mm、幅12.7mm)を用いて、アンダーライターズラボラトリー・サブジェクト94(UL94)燃焼試験に準拠して垂直燃焼試験を行い、V-0、V-1及びV-2に分類して評価した。V-0に分類されるものが難燃性に優れることを示す。
Claims (14)
- ポリカーボネート-ポリオルガノシロキサン共重合体(E-1)を含むポリカーボネート系樹脂及び難燃剤(C)を含むポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物であって、
前記ポリカーボネート系樹脂100質量部に対して、難燃剤(C)0.001~1質量部を含み、
前記ポリカーボネート-ポリオルガノシロキサン共重合体(E-1)が、下記一般式(I)で表される繰り返し単位からなるポリカーボネートブロック(A)及び下記一般式(II)で表される繰り返し単位を含むポリオルガノシロキサンブロック(B)を有し、
前記ポリオルガノシロキサンブロック(B)のポリスチレンを換算基準としたゲル浸透クロマトグラフ法による測定から得られる、横軸が分子量Mの対数値log(M)であり、縦軸が濃度分率wを分子量の対数値log(M)で微分したdw/dlog(M)である微分分子量分布曲線において、
(1)dw/dlog(M)の値が、3.4≦log(M)≦4.0の範囲で最大となり、
(2)前記微分分子量分布曲線において、4.00≦log(M)≦4.50の範囲でdw/dlog(M)値を積分した値が、log(M)の全範囲でdw/dlog(M)値を積分した値に対して6~40%である、ポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物。
[式中、R1及びR2はそれぞれ独立に、ハロゲン原子、炭素数1~6のアルキル基又は炭素数1~6のアルコキシ基を示す。Xは、単結合、炭素数1~8のアルキレン基、炭素数2~8のアルキリデン基、炭素数5~15のシクロアルキレン基、炭素数5~15のシクロアルキリデン基、フルオレンジイル基、炭素数7~15のアリールアルキレン基、炭素数7~15のアリールアルキリデン基、-S-、-SO-、-SO2-、-O-又は-CO-を示す。R3及びR4はそれぞれ独立に、水素原子、ハロゲン原子、炭素数1~6のアルキル基、炭素数1~6のアルコキシ基又は炭素数6~12のアリール基を示す。a及びbは、それぞれ独立に0~4の整数を示す。] - ポリカーボネート-ポリオルガノシロキサン共重合体(E-1)を含むポリカーボネート系樹脂及び難燃剤(C)を含むポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物であって、
前記ポリカーボネート系樹脂100質量部に対して、難燃剤(C)0.001~1質量部を含み、
前記ポリカーボネート-ポリオルガノシロキサン共重合体(E-1)が、下記一般式(I)で表される繰り返し単位からなるポリカーボネートブロック(A)及び下記一般式(II)で表される繰り返し単位を含むポリオルガノシロキサンブロック(B)を有し、
ポリスチレンを換算基準としたゲル浸透クロマトグラフ法による測定から得られる、横軸が分子量Mの対数値log(M)であり、縦軸が濃度分率wを分子量の対数値log(M)で微分したdw/dlog(M)である微分分子量分布曲線において、
(1)dw/dlog(M)の値が、3.4≦log(M)≦4.0の範囲で最大となり、
(2)前記微分分子量分布曲線において、4.00≦log(M)≦4.50の範囲でdw/dlog(M)値を積分した値が、log(M)の全範囲でdw/dlog(M)値を積分した値に対して6~40%であるポリオルガノシロキサンを原料に用いる、ポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物。
[式中、R1及びR2はそれぞれ独立に、ハロゲン原子、炭素数1~6のアルキル基又は炭素数1~6のアルコキシ基を示す。Xは、単結合、炭素数1~8のアルキレン基、炭素数2~8のアルキリデン基、炭素数5~15のシクロアルキレン基、炭素数5~15のシクロアルキリデン基、フルオレンジイル基、炭素数7~15のアリールアルキレン基、炭素数7~15のアリールアルキリデン基、-S-、-SO-、-SO2-、-O-又は-CO-を示す。R3及びR4はそれぞれ独立に、水素原子、ハロゲン原子、炭素数1~6のアルキル基、炭素数1~6のアルコキシ基又は炭素数6~12のアリール基を示す。a及びbは、それぞれ独立に0~4の整数を示す。] - ポリカーボネート-ポリオルガノシロキサン共重合体(E-1)を含むポリカーボネート系樹脂及び難燃剤(C)を含むポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物であって、
前記ポリカーボネート系樹脂100質量部に対して、難燃剤(C)0.001~1質量部を含み、
前記ポリカーボネート-ポリオルガノシロキサン共重合体(E-1)が、下記一般式(I)で表される繰り返し単位からなるポリカーボネートブロック(A)及び下記一般式(II)で表される繰り返し単位を含むポリオルガノシロキサンブロック(B)を有し、
前記ポリオルガノシロキサンブロック(B)のポリスチレンを換算基準としたゲル浸透クロマトグラフ法による測定から得られる、横軸が分子量Mの対数値log(M)であり、縦軸が濃度分率wを分子量の対数値log(M)で微分したdw/dlog(M)である微分分子量分布曲線において、
(1)dw/dlog(M)の値が、3.4≦log(M)≦4.0の範囲で最大となり、
(2)前記微分分子量分布曲線において、4.00≦log(M)≦4.50の範囲でdw/dlog(M)値を積分した値が、log(M)の全範囲でdw/dlog(M)値を積分した値に対して6~40%であり、
3mm厚における全光線透過率が85%以上であり、
粘度平均分子量が14,000~22,000であり、
-40℃におけるIzod衝撃強度が40kJ/m2以上である、ポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物。
[式中、R1及びR2はそれぞれ独立に、ハロゲン原子、炭素数1~6のアルキル基又は炭素数1~6のアルコキシ基を示す。Xは、単結合、炭素数1~8のアルキレン基、炭素数2~8のアルキリデン基、炭素数5~15のシクロアルキレン基、炭素数5~15のシクロアルキリデン基、フルオレンジイル基、炭素数7~15のアリールアルキレン基、炭素数7~15のアリールアルキリデン基、-S-、-SO-、-SO2-、-O-又は-CO-を示す。R3及びR4はそれぞれ独立に、水素原子、ハロゲン原子、炭素数1~6のアルキル基、炭素数1~6のアルコキシ基又は炭素数6~12のアリール基を示す。a及びbは、それぞれ独立に0~4の整数を示す。] - 前記ポリオルガノシロキサンブロック(B)の平均鎖長が30~85である、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載のポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物。
- 前記ポリオルガノシロキサンブロック(B)の含有量が、ポリカーボネート-ポリオルガノシロキサン共重合体の0.5~20.0質量%である、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載のポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物。
- 前記ポリカーボネート系樹脂の粘度平均分子量が14,000~22,000である、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載のポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物。
- 前記難燃剤(C)が、有機アルカリ金属塩及び有機アルカリ土類金属塩の中から選ばれる少なくとも1種である、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載のポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物。
- 前記難燃剤(C)が、有機スルホン酸アルカリ金属塩及び有機スルホン酸アルカリ土類金属塩の中から選ばれる少なくとも1種である、請求項7に記載のポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物。
- 前記有機アルカリ金属塩が、パーフルオロブタンスルホン酸カリウムである、請求項7に記載のポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物。
- 前記一般式(I)におけるa及びbが0であり、Xが単結合又は炭素数2~8のアルキリデン基である、請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載のポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物。
- 前記一般式(I)におけるa及びbが0であり、Xが炭素数3のアルキリデン基である、請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載のポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物。
- 前記一般式(II)におけるR3及びR4がメチル基である、請求項1~11のいずれか1項に記載のポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1~12のいずれか1項に記載のポリカーボネート系樹脂組成物を成形してなる成形体。
- 電気及び電子機器用部品である、請求項13に記載の成形体。
