L'invention concerne un véhicule à selle qui est pourvu : d'un axe de direction pour diriger une roue avant ; d'un tube de tête pour porter de façon rotative l'axe de direction ; d'un châssis de carrosserie de véhicule avant s'étendant vers l'arrière depuis le tube de tête et pourvu d'une paire gauche et droite de châssis principaux séparés à gauche et à droite ; d'un châssis de carrosserie de véhicule arrière relié au châssis de carrosserie de véhicule avant et s'étendant vers l'arrière de la carrosserie de véhicule ; d'une roue arrière disposée sous le châssis de carrosserie de véhicule arrière ; d'un moteur à combustion interne disposé sous le châssis de carrosserie de véhicule avant ; d'un filtre à air ayant au moins une partie de celui-ci disposée entre les châssis principaux. Le véhicule à selle est caractérisé en ce que : chacune de la paire gauche et droite de châssis principaux est un élément unique et est configurée pour être verticalement large ; le filtre à air possède des sections de saillie s'étendant davantage vers le bas que les châssis principaux dans une vue latérale du véhicule ; les sections de saillie comprennent chacune une section d'extension qui s'étend dans le sens de la largeur du véhicule de façon à chevaucher au moins une partie d'un châssis principal dans une vue en plan.
