実施の形態1.
図1はこの発明の実施の形態1によるエレベータ装置を示す側面図である。図において、昇降路1の上部には、機械室2が設けられている。機械室2内には、機械台3が設置されている。機械台3上には、巻上機4が支持されている。巻上機4は、駆動シーブ5及び巻上機本体6を有している。巻上機本体6は、駆動シーブ5を回転させる巻上機モータと、駆動シーブ5の回転を制動する巻上機ブレーキとを有している。
また、めっき加工は、亜鉛めっきに限定されるものではなく、例えば、ニッケルめっき、クロムめっき、アルミニウム亜鉛合金めっき、又は銅めっきなどであってもよい。
さらに、着色加工は、めっき加工に限定されるものではなく、例えば塗料を塗布する加工であってもよい。
さらにまた、上記の例では裸線を第1の素線、着色線を第2の素線としたが、逆であってもよい。

また、読み取り方向が予め決められていれば、方向表示子縄は省略してもよい。
例えば、情報表示子縄のうちの少なくとも1本の着色線を他の情報表示子縄の着色線と異なる色に着色することより、情報表示子縄を区切り位置表示子縄又は方向表示子縄と兼用することもできる。
また、必ずしも全ての外層子縄を情報表示子縄、区切り位置表示子縄又は方向表示子縄のいずれかに振り分けなくてもよい。例えば外層子縄の本数が多い場合には、製造情報も区切り位置も読み取り方向も表示しない外層子縄が含まれていてもよい。
さらに、この発明のエレベータ用ロープが適用されるエレベータ装置のタイプは、図1のタイプに限定されるものではない。例えば、機械室レスエレベータ、2:1ローピング方式のエレベータ装置、マルチカー方式のエレベータ装置、又はダブルデッキエレベータ等にも、この発明は適用できる。
さらに、この発明のエレベータ用ロープは、かご9を吊り下げるためのロープ以外のロープ、例えばコンペンロープやガバナロープ等にも適用することができる。

2本以上の前記情報表示子縄における前記第2の素線の配置状態の組み合わせにより、前記製造情報が表示されているエレベータ用ロープ。 - 前記情報表示子縄における前記第2の素線の配置状態は、前記情報表示子縄の長手方向に直角な断面の周方向への前記第2の素線の配置ピッチである請求項1記載のエレベータ用ロープ。
- 前記情報表示子縄における前記第2の素線の配置状態は、前記第2の素線の本数である請求項1記載のエレベータ用ロープ。
- 前記外層子縄は、前記製造情報の区切り位置を知らせる区切り位置表示子縄を含んでおり、
前記区切り位置表示子縄は、全ての前記情報表示子縄と見た目が異なっている請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか1項に記載のエレベータ用ロープ。 - 前記区切り位置表示子縄の前記外層素線は、全て同じ色である請求項4記載のエレベータ用ロープ。
- 前記外層子縄は、前記製造情報の読み取り方向を知らせる方向表示子縄を含んでおり、
前記方向表示子縄は、前記区切り位置表示子縄に隣接して配置されており、かつ、全ての前記情報表示子縄及び前記区切り位置表示子縄と見た目が異なっている請求項4又は請求項5に記載のエレベータ用ロープ。 - 前記第1の素線は着色加工が施されていない裸線であり、前記第2の素線は着色加工を施した着色線である請求項1から請求項6までのいずれか1項に記載されたエレベータ用ロープ。
- 前記着色加工は、めっき加工である請求項7記載のエレベータ用ロープ。
