1-1.好ましい例
本発明の化合物(1)は、-CF2O-および-C≡C-を有することを特徴とする。化合物(1)は、類似の化合物と比較して、大きな誘電率異方性(Δε)と大きな光学的異方性(Δn)を有する。化合物(1)の好ましい例について説明をする。化合物(1)における末端基、環構造、結合基、および置換基の好ましい例は、化合物(1)の下位式にも適用される。
化合物(1)において、R1、環A1、環A2、環A3、Z1、Z2、L1、L2、およびL3の種類を適切に組み合わせることによって、透明点、光学的異方性、誘電率異方性などの物性を任意に調整することが可能である。化合物の物性に大きな差異がないので、化合物(1)は、2H(重水素)、13Cなどの同位体を天然存在比の量より多く含んでもよい。R1などの種類が化合物(1)の物性に及ぼす主要な効果を以下に説明する。
化合物(1)の合成法について説明する。化合物(1)は有機合成化学の合成法を適切に組み合わせることにより合成できる。出発物に目的の末端基、環および結合基を導入する方法は、「オーガニック・シンセシス」(Organic Syntheses, John Wiley & Sons, Inc.)、「オーガニック・リアクションズ」(Organic Reactions, John Wiley & Sons, Inc.)、「コンプリヘンシブ・オーガニック・シンセシス」(Comprehensive Organic Synthesis, Pergamon Press)、「新実験化学講座」(丸善)などの成書に記載されている。
化合物(1)における結合基を生成する方法は、下記のスキームのとおりである。このスキームにおいて、MSG1(またはMSG2)は、少なくとも1つの環を有する一価の有機基である。複数のMSG1(またはMSG2)が表す一価の有機基は、同一であってもよいし、または異なってもよい。化合物(1A)~(1G)は、化合物(1)に相当する。
アリールホウ酸(21)と化合物(22)を、炭酸塩、テトラキス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウム触媒の存在下で反応させ、化合物(1A)を合成する。この化合物(1A)は、化合物(23)にn-ブチルリチウムを、次いで塩化亜鉛を反応させ、ジクロロビス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウム触媒の存在下で化合物(22)を反応させても合成される。
化合物(23)にn-ブチルリチウムを、続いて二酸化炭素を反応させてカルボン酸(24)を得る。化合物(24)と、化合物(21)から公知の方法で合成されるフェノール(25)とをDCC(1,3-ジシクロヘキシルカルボジイミド)とDMAP(4-ジメチルアミノピリジン)の存在下で脱水させて-COO-を有する化合物(1B)を合成する。
化合物(1B)をローソン試薬で硫黄化し、化合物(26)を得る。化合物(26)をフッ化水素ピリジン錯体とNBS(N-ブロモスクシンイミド)でフッ素化して化合物(1C)を合成する。M. Kuroboshi et al., Chem. Lett., 1992,827.を参照。化合物(1C)は化合物(26)をDAST((ジエチルアミノ)サルファートリフルオリド)でフッ素化しても合成される。W. H. Bunnelle et al., J. Org. Chem. 1990, 55, 768.を参照。
化合物(22)をn-ブチルリチウム、次いでDMF(N,N-ジメチルホルムアミド)と反応させてアルデヒド(27)を得る。ホスホニウム塩(28)とカリウムt-ブトキシドを反応させて発生させたリンイリドを、アルデヒド(27)と反応させて化合物(1D)を合成する。反応条件によってはシス体が生成するので、必要に応じて公知の方法によりシス体をトランス体に異性化する。
化合物(1D)をパラジウム炭素触媒の存在下で水素化し、化合物(1E)を合成する。
ジクロロパラジウムとヨウ化銅の触媒存在下で、化合物(23)に2-メチル-3-ブチン-2-オールを反応させたのち、塩基性条件下で脱保護して化合物(29)を得る。ジクロロビス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウムとハロゲン化銅との触媒存在下、化合物(29)を化合物(22)と反応させて、化合物(1F)を合成する。
化合物(27)を水素化ホウ素ナトリウムで還元して化合物(30)を得る。これを臭化水素酸で臭素化して化合物(31)を得る。炭酸カリウムの存在下、化合物(32)と化合物(31)を反応させて、化合物(1G)を合成する。
1,4-シクロヘキシレン、1,4-フェニレン、2-フルオロ-1,4-フェニレン、2,6-ジフルオロ-1,4-フェニレン、ピリミジン-2,5-ジイル、ピリジン-2,5-ジイル、などの環に関しては出発物が市販されているか、または合成法がよく知られている。
化合物(1-A)を合成する方法の例は、次のとおりである。既存の方法により合成できる化合物(32)にs-ブチルリチウム、ついでヨウ素と反応させることにより化合物(33)を得る。化合物(33)にビス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウム(II)ジクロリドおよびヨウ化銅(I)の存在下でエチニルトリメチルシランを反応させて化合物(34)を得る。化合物(34)を炭酸カリウムの存在下で脱シリル化させて化合物(35)を得る。既存の方法により合成できる化合物(36)にPdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132)および炭酸セシウムの存在下で化合物(35)と反応させて化合物(1-A)を合成する。
2-1.化合物(2)~(15)
本発明の液晶組成物について説明をする。この組成物は、少なくとも1つの化合物(1)を成分Aとして含む。組成物は、2つまたは3つ以上の化合物(1)を含んでいてもよい。組成物の成分が化合物(1)のみであってもよい。組成物は、化合物(1)の少なくとも1つを1重量%から99重量%の範囲で含有することが、優良な物性を発現させるために好ましい。誘電率異方性が正である組成物において、化合物(1)の好ましい含有量は5重量%から60重量%の範囲である。誘電率異方性が負である組成物において、化合物(1)の好ましい含有量は30重量%以下である。組成物は、化合物(1)と、本明細書中に記載しなかった種々の液晶性化合物とを含んでもよい。
組成物の調製は、必要な成分を高い温度で溶解させるなどの方法により行われる。用途に応じて、この組成物に添加物を添加してよい。添加物の例は、光学活性化合物、重合可能な化合物、重合開始剤、酸化防止剤、紫外線吸収剤、光安定剤、熱安定剤、消泡剤、色素などである。このような添加物は当業者によく知られており、文献に記載されている。
組成物は、PCモード、TNモード、STNモード、OCBモード、PSAモードなどの動作モードを有し、アクティブマトリックス(AM方式)で駆動する液晶表示素子に使用できる。組成物は、PCモード、TNモード、STNモード、OCBモード、VAモード、IPSモードなどの動作モードを有し、パッシブマトリクス(PM)方式で駆動する液晶表示素子にも使用することができる。これらのAM方式およびPM方式の素子は、反射型、透過型、半透過型のいずれのタイプにも適用ができる。
化合物(1)は、下記の手順により合成した。合成した化合物は、NMR分析などの方法により同定した。化合物や組成物の物性、および素子の特性は、下記の方法により測定した。
測定には、ブルカーバイオスピン社製のDRX-500を用いた。1H-NMRの測定では、試料をCDCl3などの重水素化溶媒に溶解させ、室温で、500MHz、積算回数16回の条件で測定した。テトラメチルシランを内部標準として用いた。19F-NMRの測定では、CFCl3を内部標準として用い、積算回数24回で行った。核磁気共鳴スペクトルの説明において、sはシングレット、dはダブレット、tはトリプレット、qはカルテット、quinはクインテット、sexはセクステット、mはマルチプレット、brはブロードであることを意味する。
相構造および転移温度を測定するときには、液晶性化合物そのものを試料として用いた。ネマチック相の上限温度、粘度、光学的異方性、誘電率異方性などの物性を測定するときには、化合物を母液晶に混合して調製した組成物を試料として用いた。
物性の測定は下記の方法で行った。これらの多くは、社団法人電子情報技術産業協会(Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association;以下、JEITAと略す)で審議制定されるJEITA規格(JEITA・ED-2521B)に記載された方法、またはこれを修飾した方法であった。測定に用いたTN素子には、TFTを取り付けなかった。
偏光顕微鏡を備えた融点測定装置のホットプレート(メトラー社FP-52型ホットステージ)に試料を置き、3℃/分の速度で加熱しながら相状態とその変化を偏光顕微鏡で観察し、相の種類を特定した。
測定には、パーキンエルマー社製の示差走査熱量計Diamond DSCシステム、またはエスアイアイ・ナノテクノロジー社製の高感度示差走査熱量計X-DSC7000を用いた。3℃/分速度で昇降温し、試料の相変化に伴う吸熱ピーク、または発熱ピークの開始点を外挿により求め、転移温度を決定した。化合物が固体からスメクチック相、ネマチック相などの液晶相に転移する温度を「液晶相の下限温度」と略すことがある。化合物が液晶相から等方性液体に転移する温度を「透明点」と略すことがある。
化合物の割合が、20重量%、15重量%、10重量%、5重量%、3重量%、および1重量%となるように母液晶と化合物とを混合した試料を調製し、試料をガラス瓶に入れた。このガラス瓶を、-10℃または-20℃のフリーザー中に一定期間保管したあと、結晶またはスメクチック相が析出しているかどうか観察をした。
偏光顕微鏡を備えた融点測定装置のホットプレートに試料を置き、1℃/分の速度で加熱した。試料の一部がネマチック相から等方性液体に変化したときの温度を測定した。試料が化合物と母液晶との混合物であるときは、TNIの記号で示した。試料が化合物と成分Bなどとの混合物であるときは、NIの記号で示した。ネマチック相の上限温度を「上限温度」と略すことがある。
ネマチック相を有する試料を0℃、-10℃、-20℃、-30℃、および-40℃のフリーザー中に10日間保管したあと、液晶相を観察した。例えば、試料が-20℃ではネマチック相のままであり、-30℃では結晶またはスメクチック相に変化したとき、TCを≦-20℃と記載した。ネマチック相の下限温度を「下限温度」と略すことがある。
測定には東京計器株式会社製のE型回転粘度計を用いた。
測定は、M. Imai et al., Molecular Crystals and Liquid Crystals, Vol. 259, 37 (1995) に記載された方法に従った。ツイスト角が0°であり、そして2枚のガラス基板の間隔(セルギャップ)が5μmであるTN素子に試料を入れた。この素子に16Vから19.5Vの範囲で0.5V毎に段階的に印加した。0.2秒の無印加のあと、ただ1つの矩形波(矩形パルス;0.2秒)と無印加(2秒)の条件で印加を繰り返した。この印加によって発生した過渡電流(transient current)のピーク電流(peak current)とピーク時間(peak time)を測定した。これらの測定値とM. Imaiらの論文、40頁の計算式(8)とから回転粘度の値を得た。この計算に必要な誘電率異方性の値は、この回転粘度を測定した素子を用い、下に記載した方法で求めた。
測定は、波長589nmの光を用い、接眼鏡に偏光板を取り付けたアッベ屈折計により行なった。主プリズムの表面を一方向にラビングしたあと、試料を主プリズムに滴下した。屈折率(n∥)は偏光の方向がラビングの方向と平行であるときに測定した。屈折率(n⊥)は偏光の方向がラビングの方向と垂直であるときに測定した。光学的異方性(Δn)の値は、Δn=n∥-n⊥、の式から計算した。
2枚のガラス基板の間隔(セルギャップ)が9μmであり、そしてツイスト角が80度であるTN素子に試料を入れた。この素子にサイン波(10V、1kHz)を印加し、2秒後に液晶分子の長軸方向における誘電率(ε∥)を測定した。この素子にサイン波(0.5V、1kHz)を印加し、2秒後に液晶分子の短軸方向における誘電率(ε⊥)を測定した。誘電率異方性の値は、Δε=ε∥-ε⊥、の式から計算した。
測定には横河・ヒューレットパッカード株式会社製のHP4284A型LCRメータを用いた。2枚のガラス基板の間隔(セルギャップ)が20μmである水平配向素子に試料を入れた。この素子に0ボルトから20ボルト電荷を印加し、静電容量および印加電圧を測定した。測定した静電容量(C)と印加電圧(V)の値を「液晶デバイスハンドブックク」(日刊工業新聞社)、75頁にある式(2.98)、式(2.101)を用いてフィッティングし、式(2.99)からK11およびK33の値を得た。次に171頁にある式(3.18)に、先ほど求めたK11およびK33の値を用いてK22を算出した。弾性定数Kは、このようにして求めたK11、K22、およびK33の平均値で表した。
測定には大塚電子株式会社製のLCD5100型輝度計を用いた。光源はハロゲンランプである。2枚のガラス基板の間隔(セルギャップ)が0.45/Δn(μm)であり、ツイスト角が80度であるノーマリーホワイトモード(normally white mode)のTN素子に試料を入れた。この素子に印加する電圧(32Hz、矩形波)は0Vから10Vまで0.02Vずつ段階的に増加させた。この際に、素子に垂直方向から光を照射し、素子を透過した光量を測定した。この光量が最大になったときが透過率100%であり、この光量が最小であったときが透過率0%である電圧-透過率曲線を作成した。しきい値電圧は透過率が90%になったときの電圧で表した。
測定に用いたTN素子はポリイミド配向膜を有し、そして2枚のガラス基板の間隔(セルギャップ)は5μmである。この素子は試料を入れたあと紫外線で硬化する接着剤で密閉した。この素子に25℃でパルス電圧(5Vで60マイクロ秒)を印加して充電した。減衰する電圧を高速電圧計で16.7ミリ秒のあいだ測定し、単位周期における電圧曲線と横軸との間の面積Aを求めた。面積Bは減衰しなかったときの面積である。電圧保持率は面積Bに対する面積Aの百分率で表した。
電圧保持率(VHR-2)は、80℃で測定した以外はVHR-1と同様の方法で求めた。得られた結果をVHR-2の記号で示した。
ソルミックス(登録商標)A-11は、エタノール(85.5%)、メタノール(13.4%)と2-プロパノール(1.1%)の混合物であり、日本アルコール販売(株)から入手した。
公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-1)(11.4g,30.96mmol)とビス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウム(II)ジクロリド(2.17g,3.10mmol)、ヨウ化銅(I)(0.59g,3.10mmol)のトリエチルアミン(175ml)溶液に、エチニルトリメチルシラン(3.34g,34.04mmol)を滴下し、室温で2時間撹拌した。反応混合物をろ紙で濾過し、パラジウム残渣をトルエンにて洗浄し、一緒にした濾液を濃縮した。残渣に水(250ml)を加え、トルエン(250ml)で抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=20/1、容積比)によって精製し、化合物(T-2)(9.59g,28.33mmol、91.5%)を得た。
第1工程で得られた化合物(T-2)(9.59g,28.33mmol)をジクロロメタン(55ml)およびメタノール(55ml)に溶解した。炭酸カリウム(5.28g,38.18mol)を固体のまま少しずつ添加したのち、室温にて2時間撹拌した。反応混合物を水(150ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-3)(6.75g、25.34mmol、79.7%)を得た。
PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.0246g,0.03mmol)と炭酸セシウム(4.983g,15.29mmol)に第2工程で得られた化合物(T-3)(2.22g,8.33mmol)と公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-100)(2.70g,6.94mmol)のアセトニトリル(12ml)溶液を混合し、2.5時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水(50ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=100/1、容積比)、続いて再結晶(酢酸エチル/2-プロパノール=1/10、容積比)にて精製し、化合物(1-6-77)(2.22g、3.87mmol、55.7%)を得た。
相転移温度: C 60.3 SA 81.8 N 161.5 I.
上限温度(TNI)=125.7℃;誘電率異方性(Δε)=39.5;光学的異方性(Δn)=0.270.
第1工程:
化合物(T-4)(5.00g,19.21mmol,ジーベンケミカル)のTHF(50ml)溶液を、-70℃に冷却し、n-BuLiを滴下した。-70℃で2.25時間撹拌した後、ヨウ素(5.85g,23.05mmol)のTHF(50ml)溶液を滴下した。-70℃で2時間撹拌した後、反応混合物を室温に戻した。チオ硫酸ナトリウム水溶液(100ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンで抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-5)(7.90g、19.21mmol、定量的)を得た。
第1工程で得られた化合物(T-5)(7.90g、19.21mmol)とビス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウム(II)ジクロリド(1.44g,2.05mmol)、ヨウ化銅(I)(0.39g,2.05mmol)のトリエチルアミン(120ml)溶液に、エチニルトリメチルシラン(3.34g,34.04mmol)を滴下し、室温で4時間撹拌した。反応混合物をろ紙で濾過し、パラジウム残渣をトルエンにて洗浄し、一緒にした濾液を濃縮した。残渣に水(150ml)を加え、トルエン(150ml)で抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=100/1、容積比)によって精製し、化合物(T-6)(7.25g,20.34mmol、99.4%)を得た。
第1工程で得られた化合物(T-6)(7.25g,20.34mmol)をジクロロメタン(40ml)およびメタノール(40ml)に溶解した。炭酸カリウム(3.37g,24.40mol)を固体のまま少しずつ添加したのち、室温にて1.5時間撹拌した。反応混合物を水(100ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=50/1、容積比)によって精製し、化合物(T-7)(4.84g、17.02mmol、83.7%)を得た。
PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.0311g,0.04mmol)と炭酸セシウム(5.729g,17.58mmol)に第3工程で得られた化合物(T-7)(2.5g,8.79mmol)と公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-100)(2.7g,6.94mmol)のアセトニトリル(13ml)溶液を混合し、3時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水(50ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=100/1、容積比)、続いて再結晶(酢酸エチル/2-プロパノール=1/10、容積比)にて精製し、化合物(1-6-42)(2.22g、3.87mmol、55.7%)を得た。
相転移温度:C 87.5 SA 109.1 N 163.1 I.
上限温度(TNI)=113.7℃;誘電率異方性(Δε)=48.9;光学的異方性(Δn)=0.257.
公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-8)(12.50g,42.79mmol)と(3,5-ジフルオロフェニル)ボロン酸(T-9)(7.43g,47.07mmol)のトルエン(63ml)溶液に、炭酸カリウム(17.74g,128.4mmol)とテトラブチルアンモニウムブロミド(2.76g,8.56mmol)のソルミックス(63ml)懸濁液を加えた。そこにパラジウム炭素(0.277g,2.6mmol)と水(63ml)を加え混合し、1.5時間還流した。反応混合物をろ紙で濾過し、パラジウム残渣をトルエンにて洗浄し、一緒にした濾液を濃縮した。残渣に水(100ml)を加え、トルエン(100ml)で抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-10)(10.37g、37.26mmol、87.0%)を得た。
第1工程で得られた化合物(T-10)(10.37g、37.26mmol)のTHF(100ml)溶液を、-70℃に冷却し、n-BuLiを滴下した。-70℃で2.5時間撹拌した後、ヨウ素(11.35g,44.71mmol)のTHF(100ml)溶液を滴下した。-70℃で1時間撹拌した後、反応混合物を室温に戻した。チオ硫酸ナトリウム水溶液(100ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンで抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-11)(13.44g、33.25mmol、89.2%)を得た。
第2工程で得られた化合物(T-11)(8.00g、19.79mmol)とビス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウム(II)ジクロリド(1.39g,1.98mmol)、ヨウ化銅(I)(0.38g,1.98mmol)のトリエチルアミン(110ml)溶液に、エチニルトリメチルシラン(2.14g,21.77mmol)を滴下し、室温で2.5時間撹拌した。反応混合物をろ紙で濾過し、パラジウム残渣をトルエンにて洗浄し、一緒にした濾液を濃縮した。残渣に水を加え、トルエンで抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-12)(6.61g,17.67mmol、89.2%)を得た。
第3工程で得られた化合物(T-12)(6.61g,17.67mmol)をジクロロメタン(40ml)およびメタノール(40ml)に溶解した。炭酸カリウム(2.92g,21.18mol)を固体のまま少しずつ添加したのち、室温にて1時間撹拌した。反応混合物を水(100ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水(および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=100/1、容積比)によって精製し、化合物(T-13)(4.98g、16.47mmol、93.3%)を得た。
PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.0293g,0.04mmol)と炭酸セシウム(5.39g,16.54mmol)に第4工程で得られた化合物(T-13)(2.50g,8.27mmol)と公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-100)(3.86g,9.92mmol)のアセトニトリル(26ml)溶液を混合し、4.5時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水(50ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=100/1、容積比)、続いて再結晶(酢酸エチル/2-プロパノール=1/10、容積比)にて精製し、化合物(1-6-11)(2.99g、4.90mmol、59.2%)を得た。

PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.0266g,0.04mmol)と炭酸セシウム(4.89g,17.58mmol)に、公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-14)(1.47g,7.50mmol)および公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-101)(4.0g,7.50mmol)のアセトニトリル(100ml)溶液を加え、4時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水(50ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/トルエン=4/1、容積比)、続いて再結晶(ヘプタン/ソルミックス=1/4、容積比)にて精製し、化合物(1-5-32)(1.1g、1.71mmol、22.8%)を得た。

PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.043g,0.06mmol)と炭酸セシウム(7.42g,22.78mmol)に、前項で合成した化合物(T-3)(3.03g,11.4mmol)および公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-102)(5.0g,11.39mmol)のアセトニトリル(150ml)溶液を加え、4時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水(50ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/トルエン=4/1、容積比)、続いて再結晶(ヘプタン/ソルミックス=1/4、容積比)にて精製し、化合物(1-6-84)(1.52g、2.43mmol、21.4%)を得た。

公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-15)(5.00g、18.8mmol)のTHF(40ml)溶液を、-70℃に冷却し、s-BuLi(1.01M;シクロヘキサン溶液、22.3ml)を滴下した。-70℃で2時間撹拌した後、化合物(T-16)(4.56ml,22.5mmol)のTHF(10ml)溶液を滴下し、室温に戻した。反応混合物を飽和塩化アンモニウム水溶液(50ml)へ注ぎ、酢酸エチルで抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣を再結晶(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-17)(4.64g、11.8mmol、63%)を得た。
テトラキス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウム(0)(0.267g,0.23mmol)とリン酸カリウム(4.91g,23.1mmol)に化合物(T-17)(3.63g,9.25mmol)と公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-100)(3.00g,7.71mmol)の1,4-ジオキサン(30ml)溶液を混合し、10時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水(100ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/トルエン=10/1、容積比)、続いて再結晶(2-プロパノール)によって精製し、化合物(1-5-50)(2.53g、4.40mmol、57%)を得た。

PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;46.2mg,0.0652mmol)と炭酸セシウム(8.04g,24.7mmol)に化合物(T-14)(2.82g,14.8mmol)と公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-103)(5.96g,12.3mmol)のアセトニトリル(120ml)溶液を混合し、4時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水(100ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水(200ml)および飽和食塩水(50ml)で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/トルエン=10/1、容積比)、続いて再結晶(2-プロパノール/酢酸エチル=5/1、容積比)によって精製し、化合物(1-7-31)(3.49g、5.89mmol、48%)を得た。

PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.067g,0.09mmol)と炭酸セシウム(6.17g,18.92mmol)に(T-14)(1.80g,9.46mmol)と公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-100)(4.05g,10.41mmol)のアセトニトリル(32ml)溶液を混合し、8時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水(50ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)、続いて再結晶(酢酸エチル/2-プロパノール=1/10、容積比)にて精製し、化合物(1-4-10)(1.39g、2.79mmol、29.5%)を得た。

PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.074g,0.10mmol)と炭酸セシウム(6.80g,20.90mmol)に1-エチニル-4-ペンチルベンゼン(1.80g,10.45mmol,ジーベンケミカル)と公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-100)(4.88g,12.54mmol)のアセトニトリル(32ml)溶液を混合し、11.5時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水(50ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)、続いて再結晶(酢酸エチル/2-プロパノール=1/10、容積比)にて精製し、化合物(1-4-32)(1.17g、2.44mmol、23.3%)を得た。

PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.0266g,0.04mmol)と炭酸セシウム(4.89g,17.58mmol)に公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-18))(1.47g,7.50mmol)および公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-101)(4.0g,7.50mmol)をアセトニトリル(100ml)へ加え、4時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水(50ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水(50ml)および飽和食塩水(50ml)で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(溶出液:ヘプタン/トルエン=4/1(容積比))によって分取後、再結晶(溶媒:ヘプタン/ソルミックス=1/5)にて精製し、化合物(1-5-23)(1.2g、1.82mmol、24.2%)を得た。

2-フルオロ-4-ヒドロキシベンゾニトリル(50.00g,364.7mmol,TCI)と炭酸カリウム(50.42g,364.82mmol)のN,N-ジメチルホルムアミド(200ml)溶液を50℃で1時間加熱した後、1-ブロモブタン(50.01g,364.99mmol)を滴下した。80℃で3時間加熱した後、反応混合物を室温に戻した。水(300ml)へ注ぎトルエンで抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(トルエン)によって精製し、化合物(T-19)(64.67g、360.7mmol、98.9%)を得た。
第1工程で得られた化合物(T-19)(33.18g,171.7mmol)のTHF(350ml)溶液を、-70℃に冷却し、ジイソブチルアンモニウムヒドリド(180ml,181.80mmol)を滴下し、-70℃で2時間撹拌した。室温まで戻し、室温で15時間撹拌した後、3N-HClへ注ぎ、酢酸エチルで抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮し、化合物(T-20)(32.28g、164.8mmol、95.8%)を得た。
四臭化炭素(104.03g,396.6mmol)のジクロロメタン(200ml)溶液を0℃に冷却し、トリフェニルホスフィン(65.71g,198.1mmol)を滴下し10分撹拌した。第2工程で得られた化合物(T-20)(32.28g,164.5mmol)のジクロロメタン溶液(70ml)を滴下し、0℃で1時間撹拌した。反応混合物をヘプタンで薄め、セライトろ濾過し、固体残渣を除去し、溶液を減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(トルエン)によって精製し、化合物(T-21)(62.03g,160.5mmol、97.6%)を得た。
第3工程で得られた化合物(T-21)(56.49g,160.5mmol)のTHF(300ml)溶液を-70℃に冷却し、n-BuLi(205.6ml,329.0mmol)を滴下し、-70℃で1時間撹拌した。室温まで戻し、反応混合物を水(500ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-22)(7.98g、41.51mmol、25.9%)を得た。
1-ブロモ-2-フルオロ-4-ヨードベンゼン(10.87g,36.13mmol,TCI)、ビス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウム(II)ジクロリド(0.367g,0.52mmol)、ヨウ化銅(I)(0.075g,0.39mmol)のトリエチルアミン(100ml)溶液を混合し、第4工程で得られた化合物(T-22)(7.48g,36.19mmol)を滴下し、室温で18時間撹拌した。反応混合物を減圧下で濃縮し、トルエンに溶解し、塩化アンモニウム、水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/トルエン=4/1、容積比)、続いて再結晶(2-プロパノール)にて精製し、化合物(1-23)(7.51g、20.56mmol、56.8%)を得た。
第5工程で得られた化合物(T-23)(3.91g,10.71mmol)、公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-105)(4.67g,10.71mmol)、テトラキス(トリフェニル)パラジウム(0)(0.67g,0.58mmol)、テトラブチルアンモニウムブロミド(0.89g,2.76mmol)および炭酸カリウム(2.21g,16.0mmol)のトルエン(7ml)、ソルミックス(7ml)および水(7ml)溶液を混合し、46時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/トルエン=3/1、容積比)、続いて再結晶(2-プロパノール)にて精製し、化合物(1-5-28)(2.18g、3.67mmol、34.3%)を得た。

1-ブロモ-2-フルオロ-4-ヨードベンゼン(62,75g,208.5mmol,TCI)、ビス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウム(II)ジクロリド(13.31g,18.96mmol)、ヨウ化銅(I)(3.61g,18.96mmol)のトリエチルアミン(500ml)溶液を混合し、1-ブチル-4-エチニルベンゼン(30.00g,189.6mmol,ジーベンケミカル)を滴下し、室温で17時間撹拌した。反応混合物をろ紙で濾過し、パラジウム残渣をトルエンにて洗浄し、一緒にした濾液を濃縮した。残渣に水を加え、トルエンで抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-24)(59.99g,181.1mmol、95.5%)を得た。
第1工程で得られた化合物(T-24)(15.37g,46.40mmol)、公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-106)(17.25g,48.72mmol)、パラジウム炭素(1.64g,0.769mmol)、Amphos(1.92mg,0.0072mmol)、炭酸カリウム(12.83g,92.81mmol)とテトラブチルアンモニウムブロミド(2.99g,9.28mmol)のトルエン(70ml)、ソルミックス(70ml)および水(70ml)溶液を混合し、2時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=100/1、容積比)、続いて再結晶(2-プロパノール/酢酸エチル=10/1)にて精製し、化合物(1-5-49)(15.33g、27.35mmol、58.9%)を得た。

第1工程で得られた化合物(T-26)(4.77g,13.74mmol)、公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-106)(5.11g,14.42mmol)、パラジウム炭素(0.117g,0.05mmol)、Amphos(7.29mg,0.03mmol)、炭酸カリウム(3.80g,27.48mmol)とテトラブチルアンモニウムブロミド(0.89g,2.75mmol)のトルエン(20ml)、ソルミックス(20ml)および水(20ml)溶液を混合し、9時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=100/1、容積比)、続いて再結晶(2-プロパノール/酢酸エチル=10/1)にて精製し、化合物(1-5-54)(5.63g、9.77mmol、71.1%)を得た。

1-フルオロ-3-ヨードベンゼン(10.00g,45.05mmol,TCI)、ビス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウム(II)ジクロリド(3.16g,4.50mmol)、ヨウ化銅(I)(0.858g,4.50mmol)のトリエチルアミン(130ml)溶液を混合し、1-エチニル-4-ペンチルベンゼン(8.53g,49.55mmol,ジーベンケミカル)滴下し、室温で16時間撹拌した。反応混合物をろ紙で濾過し、パラジウム残渣をトルエンにて洗浄し、一緒にした濾液を濃縮した。残渣に水を加え、トルエンで抽出した。抽出液を水(100ml)および飽和食塩水(100ml)で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-27)(11.79g,44.26mmol、98.3%)を得た。
第1工程で得られた化合物化合物(T-27)(11.74g,44.08mmol)のTHF(120ml)溶液を、-70℃に冷却し、s-BuLi(48.97ml,52.89mmol)を滴下した。-70℃で6時間撹拌した後、ヨウ素(15.66g,61.71mmol)のTHF(220ml)溶液を滴下した。-70℃で2時間撹拌した後、反応混合物を室温に戻した。チオ硫酸ナトリウム水溶液(100ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンで抽出した。抽出液を水(150ml)および飽和食塩水(150ml)で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-28)(16.34g、41.66mmol、94.5%)を得た。
第2工程で得られた化合物(T-28)(1.70g,4.34mmol)、公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-107)(1.46g,3.61mmol)、パラジウムカーボン(0.0319g,0.30mmol)、炭酸カリウム(1.00g,7.23mmol)とテトラブチルアンモニウムブロミド(0.23g,0.72mmol)のトルエン(9ml)、ソルミックス(9ml)および水(9ml)溶液を混合し、8.5時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=100/1、容積比)、続いて再結晶(2-プロパノール/酢酸エチル=10/1)にて精製し、化合物(1-5-56)(0.86g、1.37mmol、37.9%)を得た。

PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.040g,0.06mmol)と炭酸セシウム(7.42g,22.78mmol)に公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-29)(3.24g,11.4mmol)および公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-102)(5.0g,11.39mmol)をアセトニトリル(150ml)へ加え、4時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水(50ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水(50ml)および飽和食塩水(50ml)で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(溶出液:ヘプタン/トルエン=4/1(容積比))によって分取後、再結晶(溶媒:ヘプタン/ソルミックス=1/4)にて精製し、化合物(1-6-49)(3.86g、6.01mmol、52.8%)を得た。

1-クロロ-4-ヨードベンゼン(25.00g,41.94mmol,TCI)、ビス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウム(II)ジクロリド(7.36g,4.19mmol)、ヨウ化銅(I)(2.00g,4.19mmol)のトリエチルアミン(250ml)溶液を混合し、トリメチルシリルアセチレン(11.33g,46.13mmol)を滴下し、室温で16時間撹拌した。反応混合物をろ紙で濾過し、パラジウム残渣をトルエンにて洗浄し、一緒にした濾液を濃縮した。残渣に水を加え、トルエンで抽出した。抽出液を水(150ml)および飽和食塩水(150ml)で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-30)(18.87g,90.39mmol、86.2%)を得た。
第2工程で得られた化合物(T-30)(18.87g,90.39mmol)をジクロロメタン(150ml)およびメタノール(150ml)に溶解した。炭酸カリウム(14.99g,108.5mol)を添加したのち、室温にて16時間撹拌した。反応混合物を水(100ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水(100ml)および飽和食塩水(100ml)で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘキサン)によって精製し、化合物(T-31)(9.63g、70.51mmol、78.0%)を得た。
公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-100)(11.73g,30.14mmol)、PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.43g,0.60mmol)と炭酸セシウム(19.64.60.28mmol)のアセトニトリル(120ml)溶液を混合し、第2工程で得られた化合物(T-31)(5.94g,43.49mmol)を加え、14時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水へ注ぎ、酢酸エチルにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=100/1、容積比)によって精製し、化合物(T-32)(12.20g、27.43mmol、91.0%)を得た。
第3工程で得られた化合物(T-32)(6.88g,15.47mmol)、公知の方法で合成された化合物(T-33)(3.90g,18.6mmol)、PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.11g,0.15mmol)、炭酸カリウム(4.27g,30.94mmol)とテトラブチルアンモニウムブロミド(1.00g,3.09mmol)のトルエン(20ml)、ソルミックス(20ml)および水(20ml)溶液を混合し、9時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=100/1、容積比)、続いて再結晶(2-プロパノール/酢酸エチル=10/1)にて精製し、化合物(1-6-62)(4.48g、7.80mmol、50.4%)を得た。

4-ブロモ-2-フルオロベンズアルデヒド(10.00g,49.26mmol)、エチレングリコール(3.97g,64.04mmol)とp-トルエンスルホン酸一水和物(0.47g,2.46mmol)のトルエン(200ml)溶液を4時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を飽和炭酸水素ナトリウムへ注ぎ、酢酸エチルで抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=20/1、容積比)によって精製し、化合物(T-34)(11.49g,46.51mmol、94.4%)を得た。
第1工程で得られた化合物(T-34)(11.49g,46.51mmol)、公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-35)(9.39g,48.39mmol)、パラジウムカーボン(0.41g,3.86mmol)、炭酸カリウム(12.86g,93.01mmol)とテトラブチルアンモニウムブロミド(3.00g,9.30mmol)のトルエン(40ml)、ソルミックス(40ml)および水(40ml)溶液を混合し、9時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=8/1、容積比)によって精製し、化合物(T-36)(12.52g、39.57mmol、85.1%)を得た。
第2工程で得られた化合物(T-36)(12.52g、39.57mmol)、ギ酸(20.90ml,554.0mmol)とテトラブチルアンモニウムブロミド(0.29g,11.87mmol)のトルエン(125ml)溶液を室温にて17.5時間撹拌した。反応混合物を水へ注ぎ、酢酸エチルで抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=20/1、容積比)によって精製し、化合物(T-37)(9.68g,35.6mmol、89.9%)を得た。
トリフェニルホスフィン(14.83g,56.55mmol)のトルエン溶液(70ml)に四臭化炭素(9.38g,28.28mmol)を加え、室温で3.5時間撹拌し、第3工程で得られた化合物化合物(T-37)(3.5g,12.85mmol)のトルエン(70ml)溶液を加え15時間撹拌した。反応混合物を水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=10/1)によって精製し、化合物(T-38)(5.36g、12.52mmol、97.4%)を得た。
第4工程で得られた化合物(T-38)(11.45g,26.74mmol)のTHF(115ml)溶液を-70℃に冷却し、n-BuLi(33.43ml,53.40mmol)を滴下し、-70℃で2時間撹拌した。室温まで戻し、反応混合物を氷水(200ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=100/1)によって精製し、化合物(T-39)(4.60g、17.14mmol、64.1%)を得た。
PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.15g,0.28mmol)と炭酸セシウム(2.19g,6.71mmol)のアセトニトリル(5ml)溶液に第5工程で得られた化合物(T-39)(1.50g,5.59mmol)と公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-100)(2.39g,6.15mmol)のアセトニトリル(15ml)溶液を混合し、7.5時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=40/1)、続いて再結晶(酢酸エチル/2-プロパノール=1/10、容積比)にて精製し、化合物(1-6-83)(0.79g、1.37mmol、24.5%)を得た。

PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.13g,0.24mmol)と炭酸セシウム(1.85g,5.67mmol)のアセトニトリル(5ml)溶液に前項で合成した化合物(T-39)(1.27g,4.73mmol)と公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-102)(2.18g,4.97mmol)のアセトニトリル(10ml)溶液を混合し、13時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=40/1)、続いて再結晶(酢酸エチル/2-プロパノール=1/10、容積比)にて精製し、化合物(1-6-86)(0.64g、1.02mmol、21.6%)を得た。

1-フルオロ-3-プロピルベンゼン(90.91g,521.7mmol,ジーベンケミカル)のTHF(500ml)溶液を、-70℃に冷却し、s-BuLi(500ml,540.00mmol)を滴下した。-70℃で2時間撹拌した後、ヨウ素(139.4g,549.2mmol)のTHF(500ml)溶液を滴下し、反応混合物を室温に戻した。塩化アンモニウム水溶液(100ml)へ注ぎ、チオ硫酸ナトリウム水溶液を加え、ヘキサンで抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘキサン)によって精製し、化合物(T-40)(100.6g、381.0mmol、73.0%)を得た。
第1工程で得られた化合物化合物(T-40)(60.00g,227.2mmol)、ビス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウム(II)ジクロリド(1.629g,2.32mmol)、ヨウ化銅(I)(0.441g,2.32mmol)のトリエチルアミン(500ml)溶液を混合し、トリメチルシリルアセチレン(24.88g,253.31mmol)を滴下し、室温で3時間撹拌した。反応混合物をろ紙で濾過し、パラジウム残渣をトルエンにて洗浄し、一緒にした濾液を濃縮した。残渣に水を加え、トルエンで抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-41)(46.84g,199.86mmol、88.0%)を得た。
第2工程で得られた化合物(T-41)(52.93g,225.83mmol)をメタノール(300ml)に溶解した。炭酸カリウム(37.62g,272.2mol)を添加したのち、室温にて6時間撹拌した。反応混合物を水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/トルエン=9/1、容積比)によって精製し、化合物(T-42)(36.63g、225.83mmol、92.6%)を得た。
PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.076g,0.11mmol)と炭酸セシウム(13.56g,41.62mmol)に第3工程で得られた化合物(T-42)(3.56g,21.95mmol)と公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-103)(10.00g,20.70mmol)のアセトニトリル(80ml)溶液を混合し、4時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/トルエン=6/1、容積比)、続いて再結晶(トルエン)にて精製し、化合物(1-7-32)(3.10g、5.49mmol、26.5%)を得た。

公知の方法で合成した化合物T-108(5.00g,13.47mmol)、テトラキス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウム(0)(0.78g,0.67mmol)のトルエン(35ml)および2N―炭酸カリウム水溶液(70ml)を混合し、公知の方法で合成された化合物(T-33)(3.11g,14.82mmol)のソルミックス(35ml)溶液を加え、5.5時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-42)(5.81g、12.73mmol、94.5%)を得た。
第1工程で得られた化合物(T-42)(5.89g,12.91mmol)のTHF(80ml)溶液を-70℃に冷却し、n-BuLi(8.87ml,14.20mmol)を滴下し、-70℃で2時間撹拌し、ヨウ素(3.93g,15.49mml)のTHF(30ml)溶液を滴下した。0℃まで戻し、反応混合物を亜硫酸ナトリウム水溶液へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-43)(5.01g、11.89mmol、92.1%)を得た。
第2工程で得られた化合物(T-43)(5.44g,9.34mmol)、ビス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウム(II)ジクロリド(0.656g,0.93mmol)、ヨウ化銅(I)(0.178g,0.93mmol)のトリエチルアミン(110ml)溶液を混合し、トリメチルシリルアセチレン(1.44ml,10.28mmol)を滴下し、室温で4時間撹拌した。反応混合物をろ紙で濾過し、パラジウム残渣をトルエンにて洗浄し、一緒にした濾液を濃縮した。残渣に水を加え、トルエンで抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=100/1)によって精製し、化合物(T-44)(4.90g,8.87mmol、95.0%)を得た。
第3工程で得られた化合物(T-44)(4.90g,8.87mmol)をジクロロメタン(25ml)およびメタノール(25ml)に溶解した。炭酸カリウム(1.47g,10.64mol)を添加したのち、室温にて2時間撹拌した。反応混合物を水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-45)(3.76g、7.83mmol、88.3%)を得た。
PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.027g,0.04mmol)と炭酸セシウム(4.98g,15.28mmol)に第4工程で得られた化合物(T-45)(3.67g,7.64mmol)と1-ブロモ-3,4,5-トリフルオロベンゼン(1.93g,9.17mmol,ジーベンケミカル)のアセトニトリル(25ml)溶液を混合し、11時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)、続いて再結晶(酢酸エチル/2-プロパノール=1/10、容積比)にて精製し、化合物(1-8-9)(1.79g、2.93mmol、38.4%)を得た。

1-フルオロ-3-ヨードベンゼン(4.24g,22.30mmol)、ビス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウム(II)ジクロリド(1.42g,2.03mmol)、ヨウ化銅(I)(0.386g,2.03mmol)のトリエチルアミン(67.5ml)溶液を混合し、T-14(4.50g,20.27mmol)滴下し、室温で2時間撹拌した。反応混合物をろ紙で濾過し、パラジウム残渣をトルエンにて洗浄し、一緒にした濾液を濃縮した。残渣に水を加え、トルエンで抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-47)(5.12g,18.00mmol、88.8%)を得た。
第1工程で得られた化合物化合物(T-47)(5.56g,19.55mmol)のTHF(90ml)溶液を、-70℃に冷却し、s-BuLi(22.78ml,23.78mmol)を滴下した。-70℃で3時間撹拌した後、ヨウ素(6.20g,24.44mmol)のTHF(20ml)溶液を滴下し、反応混合物を室温に戻した。チオ硫酸ナトリウム水溶液(100ml)へ注ぎ、トルエンで抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-48)(7.93g、19.33mmol、98.9%)を得た。
第2工程で得られた化合物化合物(T-48)(6.32g,15.41mmol)、ビス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウム(II)ジクロリド(1.08g,1.54mmol)、ヨウ化銅(I)(0.293g,1.54mmol)のトリエチルアミン(94.8ml)溶液を混合し、トリメチルシリルアセチレン(1.66g,16.95mmol)を滴下し、室温で6.5時間撹拌した。反応混合物をろ紙で濾過し、パラジウム残渣をトルエンにて洗浄し、一緒にした濾液を濃縮した。残渣に水を加え、トルエンで抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-49)(4.81g,12.64mmol、82.1%)を得た。
第3工程で得られた化合物(T-49)(4.81g,12.64mmol)をジクロロメタン(20ml)およびメタノール(20ml)に溶解した。炭酸カリウム(2.10g,15.17mol)を添加したのち、室温にて4.5時間撹拌した。反応混合物を水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-50)(3.59g、11.64mmol、92.1%)を得た。
PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.0258g,0.04mmol)と炭酸セシウム(4.74g,14.55mmol)のアセトニトリル(20ml)溶液に第4工程で得られた化合物(T-50)(2.69g,8.73mmol)と公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-100)(2.83g,7.27mmol)のアセトニトリル(30ml)溶液を混合し、5時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)、続いて再結晶(トルエン/2-プロパノール=1/5、容積比)にて精製し、化合物(1-10-24)(2.82g、4.58mmol、62.9%)を得た。

前項で合成した化合物(T-26)(2.54g,7.33mmol)、公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-104)(3.74g,7.69mmol)、パラジウム炭素(0.624g,0.03mmol)、Amphos(3.89mg,0.01mmol)、炭酸カリウム(2.03g,14.65mmol)とテトラブチルアンモニウムブロミド(0.472g,1.47mmol)のトルエン(10ml)、ソルミックス(10ml)および水(10ml)溶液を混合し、11時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=100/1、容積比)、続いて再結晶(2-プロパノール/酢酸エチル=10/1)にて精製し、化合物(1-5-57)(3.19g、5.09mmol、69.5%)を得た。

4-ブロモ-3-フェノール(3.50g,18.32mmol,TCI)、1-ブロモブタン(2.51g,18.32mmol)と炭酸カリウム(5.07g,36.65mmol)のアセトン(70ml)溶液を14.5時間加熱還流した後、反応混合物を室温に戻した。水へ注ぎ酢酸エチルで抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン)によって精製し、化合物(T-51)(4.13g、16.71mmol、91.2%)を得た。
塩化イソプロピルマグネシウム(9.19ml,18.38mmol)を-10℃に冷却し、第1工程で得られた化合物(T-51)(4.13g、16.71mmol)のTHF溶液(35ml)を滴下し、-10℃で2時間撹拌した。ホウ酸トリメチル(1.91g,18.38mmol)のTHF(5ml)溶液を滴下し、-10℃で1時間撹拌した。反応混合物を室温に戻し、1N-HClへ注ぎ、1時間撹拌し、酢酸エチルにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣ヘプタンを加え、濾過し減圧下で乾燥し、化合物(T-52)(1.32g、6.23mmol、37.3%)を得た。
第2工程で得られた化合物(T-52)(1.32g、6.23mmol)、T-31(2.31g,5.19mmol)、PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.0367g,0.05mmol)、炭酸カリウム(1.43g,10.38mmol)とテトラブチルアンモニウムブロミド(0.334g,1.04mmol)のトルエン(7ml)、ソルミックス(7ml)および水(7ml)溶液を混合し、8.5時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=100/1、容積比)、続いて再結晶(2-プロパノール/酢酸エチル=10/1)にて精製し、化合物(1-6-66)(0.45g、0.78mmol、15.1%)を得た。

上限温度(TNI)=139.7℃;誘電率異方性(Δε)=40.1;光学的異方性(Δn)=0.277.
PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.12g,0.17mmol)と炭酸セシウム(1.85g,5.67mmol)のアセトニトリル(5ml)溶液に前項で合成した化合物(T-25)(1.59g,9.15mmol)と公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-103)(4.02g,8.32mmol)のアセトニトリル(35ml)溶液を混合し、7.5時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=100/1)、続いて再結晶(酢酸エチル/2-プロパノール=1/10、容積比)にて精製し、化合物(1-7-90)(2.66g、4.61mmol、55.5%)を得た。

1-ブロモ-3-フルオロ-4-ヨードベンゼン(20.00g,66.47mmol,TCI)、ビス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウム(II)ジクロリド(4.67g,6.65mmol)、ヨウ化銅(I)(1.27g,6.65mmol)のトリエチルアミン(200ml)溶液を混合し、2-メチル-3-ブチン-2-オール(6.15g,73.12mmol)を滴下し、室温で16時間撹拌した。反応混合物をろ紙で濾過し、パラジウム残渣をトルエンにて洗浄し、一緒にした濾液を濃縮した。残渣に水を加え、トルエンで抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=8/1)によって精製し、化合物(T-53)(17.09g,66.47mmol、定量的)を得た。
第1工程で得られた化合物(T-53)(17.36g、67.52mmol)、ビス(ピナコラート)ジボロン(18.00g,70.90mmol)、酢酸カリウム(19.88g,202.6mmol)とテトラキス(トリフェニルホスフィン)パラジウム(0)(0.780g,0.68mmol)の1,4-ジオキサン(175ml)溶液を混合し、11.5時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=4/1、容積比)によって精製し、化合物(T-54)(18.70g、61.48mmol、91.1%)を得た。
第2工程で得られた化合物(T-54)(17.80g、59.84mmol)、T-55(9.82g、54.40mmol)、PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.377g,0.54mmol)、炭酸カリウム(14.71g,108.8mmol)とテトラブチルアンモニウムブロミド(3.43g,10.88mmol)のトルエン(60ml)、ソルミックス(60ml)および水(60ml)溶液を混合し、8.5時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/酢酸エチル=100/1、容積比)によって精製し、化合物(T-56)(13.75g、42.12mmol、79.2%)を得た。
第3工程で得られた化合物(T-56)(9.98g、30.57mmol)および水酸化カリウム(1.87g,33.33mmol)のトルエン(200ml)を混合し、3時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、塩化アンモニウム水溶液へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(トルエン)によって精製し、化合物(T-57)(8.04g、29.87mmol、97.7%)を得た。
PdCl2(Amphos)2(Pd-132;0.107g,0.15mmol)と炭酸セシウム(19.56g,60.03mmol)に第4工程で得られた化合物(T-57)(8.04g,29.87mmol)と公知の方法で合成した化合物(T-100)(11.80g,30.33mmol)のアセトニトリル(100ml)溶液を混合し、時間加熱還流した。反応混合物を室温まで放冷したのち、水へ注ぎ、トルエンにて抽出した。抽出液を水および飽和食塩水で洗浄し、無水硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、減圧下で濃縮した。残渣をカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘプタン/トルエン=1/4、容積比)、続いて再結晶(トルエン/2-プロパノール=1/1)にて精製し、化合物(1-6-92)(5.90g、10.23mmol、34.3%)を得た。

Claims (15)
- 式(1)で表される化合物。
式(1)において、
R1は、炭素数1から15のアルキルであり、このアルキルにおいて、少なくとも1つの-CH2-は-O-で置き換えられてもよく、少なくとも1つの-CH2CH2-は-CH=CH-で置き換えられてもよく、これらの基において、少なくとも1つの水素はハロゲンで置き換えられてもよく;
環A1、環A2、および環A3は独立して、1,4-シクロへキシレン、1,4-シクロヘキセニレン、1,4-フェニレン、2-ハロゲノ-1,4-フェニレン、2,6-ジハロゲノ-1,4-フェニレン、ピリミジン-2,5-ジイル、またはピリジン-2,5-ジイルであり;
Z1およびZ2は独立して、単結合または-C≡C-であるが、少なくとも1つは-C≡C-であり;
L1は、ハロゲン、-OCF3、または-CF3であり;
L2およびL3は独立して、水素またはハロゲンであるが、少なくとも1つはハロゲンであり;
mおよびnは独立して、0、1または2であり、mおよびnの和は1または2である。 - 請求項1に記載の式(1)において、
R1は、炭素数1から15のアルキル、炭素数2から15のアルケニル、炭素数2から15のアルコキシ、少なくとも1つの水素がハロゲンにより置き換えられた炭素数1から15のアルキル、少なくとも1つの水素がハロゲンにより置き換えられた炭素数2から15のアルケニル、または少なくとも1つの水素がハロゲンにより置き換えられた炭素数2から15のアルコキシであり;
環A1、環A2、および環A3は独立して、1,4-シクロへキシレン、1,4-シクロヘキセニレン、1,4-フェニレン、2-ハロゲノ-1,4-フェニレン、2,6-ジハロゲノ-1,4-フェニレン、ピリミジン-2,5-ジイル、またはピリジン-2,5-ジイルであり;
Z1およびZ2は独立して、単結合または-C≡C-であり、m個のZ1およびn個のZ2のうちの少なくとも1つは-C≡C-であり;
L1は、ハロゲン、-OCF3、または-CF3であり;
L2およびL3は独立して、水素またはハロゲンであるが、少なくとも1つはハロゲンであり;
mおよびnは独立して、0、1、または2であり、mおよびnの和は1または2である。 - 式(1-1)~(1-3)のいずれか1つで表される、請求項1に記載の化合物
式(1-1)~(1-3)において、
R1は、炭素数1~15のアルキル、炭素数2~15のアルケニル、炭素数1~14のアルコキシ、または炭素数2~14のアルケニルオキシであり;
環A1、環A2、および環A3は独立して、1,4-シクロへキシレン、1,4-シクロヘキセニレン、1,4-フェニレン、2-ハロゲノ-1,4-フェニレン、2,6-ジハロゲノ-1,4-フェニレン、ピリミジン-2,5-ジイル、またはピリジン-2,5-ジイルであり;
Z1およびZ2は独立して、単結合または-C≡C-であり、m個のZ1およびn個のZ2のうちの少なくとも1つは-C≡C-であり;
L1は、ハロゲン、-OCF3、または-CF3であり;
L2およびL3は独立して、水素またはフッ素であり、少なくとも1つはフッ素である。 - 式(1-1)~(1-3)において、環A1、環A2、および環A3は独立して、1,4-フェニレン、2-ハロゲノ-1,4-フェニレン、2,6-ジハロゲノ-1,4-フェニレン、ピリミジン-2,5-ジイル、またはピリジン-2,5-ジイルであり;L1は、フッ素、-OCF3、または-CF3である、請求項3に記載の化合物。
- 式(1-4)~(1-28)において、L1は、フッ素または-CF3である、請求項5に記載の化合物。
- 請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の化合物の少なくとも1つを含有する液晶組成物。
- 式(2)~(4)で表される化合物の群から選択される少なくとも1つの化合物をさらに含有する、請求項7に記載の液晶組成物。
式(2)~(4)において、
R11は炭素数1から10のアルキルまたは炭素数2から10のアルケニルであり、このアルキルおよびアルケニルにおいて、少なくとも1つの水素はフッ素で置き換えられてもよく、少なくとも1つの-CH2-は-O-で置き換えられてもよく;
X11は、フッ素、塩素、-OCF3、-OCHF2、-CF3、-CHF2、-CH2F、-OCF2CHF2、または-OCF2CHFCF3であり;
環B1、環B2および環B3は独立して、1,4-シクロヘキシレン、少なくとも1つの水素がフッ素で置き換えられてもよい1,4-フェニレン、テトラヒドロピラン-2,5-ジイル、1,3-ジオキサン-2,5-ジイル、またはピリミジン-2,5-ジイルであり;
Z11、Z12およびZ13は独立して、単結合、-CH2CH2-、-CH=CH-、-C≡C-、-COO-、-CF2O-、-OCF2-、-CH2O-、または-(CH2)4-であり、Z11、Z12およびZ13のいずれかが-C≡C-である場合、他方は単結合、-CH2CH2-、-CH=CH-、-C≡C-、-COO-、-OCF2-、-CH2O-、または-(CH2)4-であり、Z11、Z12およびZ13のいずれかが-CF2O-である場合、他方は単結合、-CH2CH2-、-CH=CH-、-COO-、-CF2O-、-OCF2-、-CH2O-、または-(CH2)4-であり;
L11およびL12は独立して、水素またはフッ素である。 - 式(5)で表される化合物の群から選択される少なくとも1つの化合物をさらに含有する、請求項7または8に記載の液晶組成物。
式(5)において、
R12は炭素数1から10のアルキルまたは炭素数2から10のアルケニルであり、このアルキルおよびアルケニルにおいて、少なくとも1つの水素はフッ素で置き換えられてもよく、少なくとも1つの-CH2-は-O-で置き換えられてもよく;
X12は-C≡Nまたは-C≡C-C≡Nであり;
環C1は、1,4-シクロヘキシレン、少なくとも1つの水素がフッ素で置き換えられてもよい1,4-フェニレン、テトラヒドロピラン-2,5-ジイル、1,3-ジオキサン-2,5-ジイル、またはピリミジン-2,5-ジイルであり;
Z14は、単結合、-CH2CH2-、-C≡C-、-COO-、-CF2O-、-OCF2-、または-CH2O-であり;
L13およびL14は独立して水素またはフッ素であり;
iは、1、2、3、または4である。 - 式(6)~(12)で表される化合物の群から選択される少なくとも1つの化合物をさらに含有する、請求項7から9のいずれか1項に記載の液晶組成物。
式(6)~(12)において、
R13およびR14は独立して、炭素数1から10のアルキルまたは炭素数2から10のアルケニルであり、このアルキルおよびアルケニルにおいて、少なくとも1つの-CH2-は-O-で置き換えられてもよく、少なくとも1つの水素はフッ素で置き換えられてもよく;
R15は、水素、フッ素、炭素数1から10のアルキル、または炭素数2から10のアルケニルであり、このアルキルおよびアルケニルにおいて、少なくとも1つの-CH2-は-O-で置き換えられてもよく、少なくとも1つの水素はフッ素で置き換えられてもよく;
S11は水素またはメチルであり;
X13およびX14は独立して、-CF2-、-O-、または-CHF-であり;
環D1、環D2、環D3、および環D4は独立して、1,4-シクロヘキシレン、1,4-シクロヘキセニレン、少なくとも1つの水素がフッ素で置き換えられてもよい1,4-フェニレン、テトラヒドロピラン-2,5-ジイル、またはデカヒドロナフタレン-2,6-ジイルであり;
環D5および環D6は独立して、1,4-シクロヘキシレン、1,4-シクロヘキセニレン、1,4-フェニレン,テトラヒドロピラン-2,5-ジイル、またはデカヒドロナフタレン-2,6-ジイルであり;
Z15、Z16、Z17、およびZ18は独立して、単結合、-CH2CH2-、-COO-、-CH2O-、-OCF2-、または-OCF2CH2CH2-であり;
L15およびL16は独立して、フッ素または塩素であり;
j、k、m、n、p、q、r、およびsは独立して、0または1であり、k、m、n、およびpの和は、1または2であり、q、rおよびsの和は、0、1、2、または3であり、tは、1、2、または3である。 - 式(13)~(15)で表される化合物の群から選択される少なくとも1つの化合物をさらに含有する、請求項7~10のいずれか1項に記載の液晶組成物。
式(13)~(15)において、
R16およびR17は独立して、炭素数1から10のアルキルまたは炭素数2から10のアルケニルであり、このアルキルまたはアルケニルにおいて、少なくとも1つの-CH2-は-O-で置き換えられてもよく、少なくとも1つの水素はフッ素で置き換えられてもよく;
環E1、環E2、環E3、および環E4は独立して、1,4-シクロヘキシレン、1,4-フェニレン、2-フルオロ-1,4-フェニレン、2,5-ジフルオロ-1,4-フェニレン、またはピリミジン-2,5-ジイルであり;
Z19、Z20およびZ21は独立して、単結合、-CH2CH2-、-CH=CH-、-C≡C-、または-COO-である。 - 重合可能な化合物、光学活性化合物、酸化防止剤、紫外線吸収剤、光安定剤、熱安定剤、および消泡剤の少なくとも1つをさらに含有する、請求項7から11のいずれか1項に記載の液晶組成物。
- 請求項7から12のいずれか1項に記載の液晶組成物を含有する液晶表示素子。
- 液晶組成物をカプセルに内包させることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の液晶表示素子。
- 液晶組成物を2D-3D間スイッチングに利用されるレンズに使用することを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の液晶表示素子。
