Definitions
- the invention relates to a filter housing with a receiving device and a filter system, in particular for an air filter of an internal combustion engine.
- an air filter for an internal combustion engine which consists of two housing parts, namely a Rohluftgeophuse and a clean air hood, and wherein a filter element is arranged in the housing parts.
- clean air hood or Rohluftgeophuse are pivotally mounted and the filter element has a circumferential seal, which forms a seal between the two housing parts.
- the air filter provides that a slight pivoting of a clean air hood or a Rohluftgeophuses can be performed.
- the filter element has a circumferential seal for sealing between the two housing parts, so that it can be removed without great effort from the housing. After pivoting one of the two housing parts a loosening and removal of the filter element is possible.
- the filter element extends, starting from the sealing plane, for example, a seal formed circumferentially on the filter element, completely into the housing, which can be tilted and guided outwards.
- An object of the invention is therefore to provide a filter housing, which allows to remove a filter element in a simple manner without consuming assembly or disassembly steps even in confined space from the filter housing or use.
- Another object of the invention is to provide a filter system with a filter housing, which allows to remove a filter element in a simple manner without consuming assembly or disassembly steps, even in confined space from the filter housing or use.
- a filter housing for a filter system comprising at least a first housing part and at least one second housing part, which are provided for enclosing a filter element, and having at least one inlet and an outlet for a fluid in a housing wall.
- at least one receiving device is provided, by means of which the second housing part in an opening operating state in which the filter housing is opened on such a way on the first housing part without tools so that the second housing part is stabilized by its own weight in a holding position .
- the second housing part needs only minimally raised and moved and fixed in the holding position, where it is stabilized by its own weight. In this way, both hands are available for a change of the filter element.
- Such a fixation of the second housing part can be provided independently of the applied sealing principle of the filter housing and the filter element in the filter housing between the raw side and the clean side of the filter element. Also, this fixation is independent of the type of closure of the filter housing, such as screw or Verklipsung. And this fixing principle is independent of whether the filter housing flat filter or round filter comprises.
- the second housing part is that attached to the second housing part lines such as supply air or exhaust air lines, or even electrical lines, for example, for sensors during of the installation or removal process can remain on the second housing part and so no plug are needed to pull off the lines, which in turn excludes an additional source of error.
- Another advantage lies in the fixation of the open and spent in the holding position housing part by its own weight.
- the second housing part is so self-locking fixed in the holding position and can not fall out by itself again, so that damage or even injury can be prevented.
- the receiving device may comprise at least one receiving element on one of the housing parts and at least one corresponding support element on the other of the housing parts.
- the second housing part in the opening operating state with the at least one support element in the at least one receiving element or with the at least one receiving element in the at least one support element of the first housing part storable.
- the receiving device may have two corresponding elements, one of which is arranged on the first housing part and the other on the second housing part.
- an element may constitute a receiving element, in which a support element engage and can be securely fixed.
- the second housing part must also be raised only minimally and only slightly laterally displaced and can then be set and fixed with the support elements in the receiving elements, which can be carried out with minimal installation space requirements themselves.
- the receiving device may be formed with an insertion position and the holding position, wherein the support element can be brought over the insertion position in the holding position and removed again.
- the second housing part may be tilted in the holding position.
- the second housing part is stabilized by its own weight in the holding position.
- an insertion position is provided, which allows to introduce the support without additional forces in the holding position and also remove it from the holding position. This can be achieved by tilting the second housing part, for example, perpendicular to the first housing part, so that so that the support member is removed from its holding position and can be easily led out of this.
- the second housing part can be stored without tools on or on the first housing part such that the second housing part has no support on another component in an opening operating state.
- a separation surface of the first housing part to a parting surface of the second housing part an opening angle between 30 ° and 60 °, preferably between 40 ° and 50 °, have, when the second housing part is brought into the holding position.
- Such an opening angle is advantageous in order to comfortably remove a filter element from the filter housing or to insert it again. put.
- the suitable opening angle depends on the dimensions of the filter element used and on the available installation space in the installation situation of the filter housing on an internal combustion engine and / or in a vehicle. With a larger opening angle, the removal of a filter element is more comfortable to make, however, for a stable mounting of the second housing part on the first housing part a suitable opening angle to be defined by the constructive boundary conditions.
- the receiving element may have a recess and the support element have a correspondingly formed latching lug, wherein the receiving device in the holding position with the support element via the latching lug in the recess of the receiving element can be latched.
- a secure mounting of the second housing part can be made possible on the first housing part.
- the locking of the locking lug with the recess in the receiving element ensures that the second housing part, which is supported by its own weight in the stable holding position, can not be brought out accidentally by abutment or vibration from this holding position.
- the receiving element may have a support surface against which the support element engages in the holding position with a counter surface.
- a support surface in the receiving element is designed to be low in order to fix the second housing part about its own weight in the holding position.
- the latching lug can be arranged on a side opposite the opposite surface of the support element. In this way it can be ensured that the dead weight of the second housing part presses the latching lug into the recess of the receiving element and so the support element is locked against the receiving element.
- the second housing part is securely fixed in the holding position and can not accidentally fall out or be pushed.
- the filter housing having two Frevornchtungen on opposite housing sides. Thereby, the second housing part can be safely and stably stored in its holding position. Similar to a hinge, the second housing part can be lifted from the first housing part, moved slightly laterally and set with the support elements in the two receiving elements of the two opposite receiving devices. In this way, relatively heavy housing parts can be stored safely without running the risk that they can tip out of their holding position or pushed again.
- the filter housing may have at least two receiving devices on a housing longitudinal side. Even with such an arrangement of the receiving devices, the second housing part can be mounted on the first housing part.
- the advantage here is that the usable opening of the two housing parts can be carried out so rather even larger. However, in this case, a certain amount of space on the one housing longitudinal side necessary to represent the corresponding tilting movement of the second housing part can. It is also possible to integrate the receiving devices into a potentially designed hinge on the housing longitudinal side.
- the support surface of the receiving element may be formed on the side facing away from the opening angle of the receiving element and further be formed, the counter surface of the support member on the opening angle facing side of the support element.

- the filter housing has at least one receiving device, so that the second housing part can be stored on the first housing part when the filter housing is open.
- the filter system according to the invention has the advantage that for the installation or removal of a filter element in the filter housing, the second housing part, such as a housing cover, does not have to be put away or must be supported with one hand on a breakpoint.
- the second housing part can be stored without tools on or on the first housing part exclusively by the receiving device in such a way that the second housing part has no support on another component in an opening operating state.
- the filter element may constitute a flat filter.
- a flat filter can be conveniently removed by a gap, which is formed by the second housing part mounted at an opening angle on the first housing part, and also used again.
- the appropriate size of the opening angle is determined by the depth of the filter housing and the thickness of the filter element significantly and can so on the constructive boundary conditions be set the filter system and the surrounding space in the given installation situation.
- the filter element may also be a round filter.
- such an arrangement may be favorable to support a second housing part when removing or inserting a filter element on the first housing part.
