Abstract
Description
一方で、図2に示すように、タイヤ中間体90のタイヤ赤道面CLを中心とするタイヤ幅方向両側のステッチング部分92が、それぞれ独立に上下運動、水平方向の運動、及び回転運動可能であることにより、ステッチング部分92がタイヤ中間体90のサイドウォール部91に垂直に押圧できるようにする手法も提案されている。
本発明のステッチング装置は、タイヤ中間体にタイヤ構成部材を圧着するステッチング装置であって、前記タイヤ中間体のタイヤ径方向に移動可能な支持部と、前記支持部に配置された支点部分と、一方側が前記支点部分に連結され、前記支点部分を中心として回転運動可能なアームと、前記アームの他方側に連結された、ステッチング治具を有するステッチング部分と、を備え、
前記支点部分が、前記タイヤ中間体のタイヤ幅方向に可動であるように構成されたことを特徴とするものである。
ここで、「タイヤ幅方向に可動である」とは、支点部分がステッチング動作中における前記タイヤ中間体のタイヤ幅方向に移動可能であることをいうが、移動可能であり、かつ、固定可能である場合も含まれる。
また、アームの「一方側」及び「他方側」とは、アームの一方側及び他方側の端部の場合や、該端部より内側の場合を含むものとする。
前記支点部分と前記ステッチング部分とが、前記タイヤ中間体のタイヤ赤道面を境界として互いに反対側に位置するように構成されたことを特徴とするものである。
前記支点部分をステッチング動作中における前記タイヤ中間体のタイヤ幅方向に移動させる工程を含むことを特徴とする。
ここで、「ステッチング動作中」とは、タイヤ中間体にステッチングをする場合のみならず、タイヤ中間体をセットする動作も含むものとする。
ステッチング動作中に、前記支点部分と前記ステッチング部分とが、ステッチング動作中における前記タイヤ中間体のタイヤ赤道面を境界として互いに反対側に位置することを特徴とする。
図3は、本発明の第一の実施形態にかかるステッチング装置を示す図である。このステッチング装置は、タイヤ中間体にタイヤ構成部材を圧着するものであり、図3は、ステッチング動作中のステッチング装置の正面図(タイヤ中間体の側面図)である。
図3に示す例では、軸3aが軸3aの延在方向を軸として回転することにより、支持部3ごと支点部分4がこの軸3a上を移動するように構成されている。なお、支点部分4を可動とする方法は、この例に限らず、例えば、軸3aにスライド溝を設け、支持部3に該スライド溝に嵌合する凸部とによるスライド機構を設けることにより、支点部分4をタイヤ中間体2のタイヤ幅方向に可動とすることもできる。あるいは、例えば、支点部分4は、固定された支持部3に対してタイヤ中間体2のタイヤ幅方向に可動とすることもでき、他にも、支点部分4を、ステッチング動作中におけるタイヤ中間体2のタイヤ幅方向に可動であるように構成する任意の既知の手法を用いることができる。
以下、第一の実施形態の作用効果について説明する。
そして、支点部分4の位置が可動であることにより、ステッチング動作の前に、タイヤサイズに応じてステッチングローラ6aがタイヤ中間体2に当接する角度が最適となるように、初期位置を定めることもできる。
以下、第二の実施形態の作用効果について説明する。
以下、第三の実施形態の作用効果について説明する。
なお、図6に示すように、2つの軸3aの回転を、回転ベルト7を用いて同期させることが好ましい。2つの支点部分4を連動させて、タイヤ中間体2のタイヤ幅方向に対称に移動させることができるからである。また、回転ベルト7による2つの軸3aの連結を解除することにより、片側のアーム5のみを移動させたり、2つのステッチング部分を連動させずにステッチング動作を行ったりすることもできる。なお、回転ベルト7の代わりに歯車(ギア)を用いて2つの軸3aの回転を同期させてもよい。
特に、サイドウォール部の折り返し部の位置がタイヤ径方向のより外側に位置するSUV(多目的スポーツ車)サイズのタイヤにおいては、サイドウォール部のタイヤ径方向外側においても、ステッチングローラ6aをサイドウォール部表面に垂直に近い角度で圧着させることが必要となるため、それが可能であるように、支点部分4がタイヤ中間体2の所定のタイヤ幅方向位置に移動可能であることが好ましいからである。
サイドウォール部の折り返し部分の高さがさほど高くないタイヤサイズのタイヤについては、支点部分4を固定して、垂直からある程度傾斜した角度でステッチングしても十分であるため、簡素な動作で済むからである。
これにより、変位付与部8により、アーム5の支点部分4を基準とする一方側に小さな変位を与えるだけで、モーメントの作用により、アーム5の他方側を大きく変位させることができるため、より小さな回転方向の変位でアーム5により大きな回転運動を与えることができるからである。
タイヤ中間体2とアーム5とが干渉してしまうのを避けることができるからである。
なお、「屈曲」とは、図7に示すような湾曲形状や、図5に示すような、屈曲点5aを有した屈曲形状や、円弧形状、凸形状など、タイヤ中間体2との干渉を避けることのできる様々な形状を含むものとする。
一方で、ステッチング装置1を小型化するという観点からは、アーム5の長さは、タイヤ中間体2のタイヤ幅方向最大長さの2倍以下とすることが好ましい。
まず、本発明の第一の実施形態によるステッチング方法について説明する。
図3に戻って、第一の実施形態によるステッチング方法では、ステッチング動作中におけるタイヤ中間体2のタイヤ径方向に移動可能な支持部3をタイヤ中間体2のタイヤ径方向に移動させながら、一方側が支持部3に配置された支点部分4に連結され、支点部分4を中心として回転運動可能なアーム5の他方側に連結された、ステッチング部分6のステッチングローラ6aによって、タイヤ中間体2にタイヤ構成部材を圧着する。
そして、支持部3をタイヤ中間体2のタイヤ径方向に移動させるに伴い、支点部分4をステッチング動作中におけるタイヤ中間体2のタイヤ幅方向に移動させる。特に、図3に実線と二点鎖線とで示すように、支持部3をタイヤ中間体2のタイヤ径方向外側に移動させるにつれ、支点部分4を図示例では支持部3ごと、タイヤ中間体2のタイヤ幅方向内側に近づける。
そして、支点部分4の位置が可動であることにより、ステッチング動作の前に、タイヤサイズに応じてステッチングローラ6aがタイヤ中間体2に当接する角度が最適となるように、初期位置を定めることもできる。
図4に戻って、第二の実施形態によるステッチング方法では、ステッチング動作中におけるタイヤ中間体2のタイヤ径方向に移動可能な支持部3をタイヤ中間体2のタイヤ径方向に移動させながら、一方側が支持部3に配置された支点部分4に連結され、支点部分4を中心として回転運動可能なアーム5の他方側に連結された、ステッチング部分6のステッチングローラ6aによって、タイヤ中間体2にタイヤ構成部材を圧着する。
そして、ステッチング動作中に、支点部分4とステッチング部分6とが、ステッチング動作中におけるタイヤ中間体2のタイヤ赤道面CLを境界として互いに反対側に位置する。
これにより、支点部分4が、アーム5を介して連結されるステッチングローラ6aとタイヤ赤道面CLを境界とした反対側に位置するため、アーム5のタイヤ径方向に対する傾斜角度をより大きくすることができ、これにより、ステッチングローラ6aをタイヤ中間体2の表面に対して垂直に近い角度で当接させ、タイヤ構成部材を圧着させることができる。さらに、第二の実施形態のステッチング方法によれば、支点部分4からステッチング部分6までのアーム5の長さを長くすることができるため、ステッチングローラ6aをタイヤ中間体2のサイドウォール部に当接させやすくなる。第二の実施形態のステッチング方法によれば、支点部分4の位置を上記の位置とすることのみによる簡易な手法で、タイヤ構成部材を効果的に圧着させることができる。
図5に戻って、第三の実施形態によるステッチング方法では、基本的には、図3に示す第一の実施形態と同様の動作を行うものであるが、ステッチング動作中に、支点部分4とステッチング部分6とが、ステッチング動作中におけるタイヤ中間体2のタイヤ赤道面CLを境界として互いに反対側に位置する。
そして、支持部3をタイヤ中間体2のタイヤ径方向に移動させるに伴い、支点部分4をステッチング動作中におけるタイヤ中間体2のタイヤ幅方向に移動させる。特に、図5に実線と二点鎖線とで示すように、支持部3をタイヤ中間体2のタイヤ径方向外側に移動させるにつれ、支点部分4を図示例では支持部3ごと、タイヤ中間体2のタイヤ幅方向内側に近づける。
さらに、支点部分4の位置が可動であることにより、ステッチング動作の前に、タイヤサイズに応じてステッチングローラ6aがタイヤ中間体2に当接する角度が最適となるように、初期位置を定めることもできる。
なお、本発明のステッチング方法では、図6に示すように、2つの軸3aの回転を、回転ベルト7を用いて同期させることが好ましい。2つの支点部分4を連動させて、タイヤ中間体2のタイヤ幅方向に対称に移動させることができるからである。また、回転ベルト7による2つの軸3aの連結を解除することにより、片側のアーム5のみを移動させたり、2つのステッチング部分を連動させずにステッチング動作を行ったりすることもできる。なお、回転ベルト7の代わりに歯車(ギア)を用いて2つの軸3aの回転を同期させてもよい。
特に、サイドウォール部の折り返し部の位置がタイヤ径方向のより外側に位置するSUV(多目的スポーツ車)サイズのタイヤにおいては、サイドウォール部のタイヤ径方向外側においても、ステッチングローラ6aをサイドウォール部表面に垂直に近い角度で圧着させることが必要となるため、それが可能であるように、支点部分4がタイヤ中間体2の所定のタイヤ幅方向位置に移動させることが好ましいからである。
これにより、変位付与部8により、アーム5の支点部分4を基準とする一方側に小さな変位を与えるだけで、モーメントの作用により、アーム5の他方側を大きく変位させることができるため、より小さな回転方向の変位でアーム5により大きな回転運動を与えることができるからである。

Claims (20)
- タイヤ中間体にタイヤ構成部材を圧着するステッチング装置であって、
前記タイヤ中間体のタイヤ径方向に移動可能な支持部と、
前記支持部に配置された支点部分と、
一方側が前記支点部分に連結され、前記支点部分を中心として回転運動可能なアームと、
前記アームの他方側に連結された、ステッチング治具を有するステッチング部分と、を備え、
前記支点部分が、ステッチング動作中における前記タイヤ中間体のタイヤ幅方向に可動であるように構成されたことを特徴とする、ステッチング装置。 - タイヤ中間体にタイヤ構成部材を圧着するステッチング装置であって、
前記タイヤ中間体のタイヤ径方向に移動可能な支持部と、
前記支持部に配置された支点部分と、
一方側が前記支点部分に連結され、前記支点部分を中心として回転運動可能なアームと、
前記アームの他方側に連結された、ステッチング治具を有するステッチング部分と、を備え、
前記支点部分と前記ステッチング部分とが、前記タイヤ中間体のタイヤ赤道面を境界として互いに反対側に位置するように構成されたことを特徴とする、ステッチング装置。 - 前記支点部分と前記ステッチング部分とが、前記タイヤ中間体のタイヤ赤道面を境界として互いに反対側に位置するように構成された、請求項1に記載のステッチング装置。
- 前記支点部分と前記ステッチング部分とが、前記タイヤ中間体のタイヤ赤道面を境界とした同一側に位置するように構成された、請求項1に記載のステッチング装置。
- 2つの前記支点部分を有し、
前記2つの支点部分が、同一軸上に配置され、
前記2つの支点部分が、前記同一軸上を可動である、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のステッチング装置。 - 2つの前記支点部分を有し、
前記2つの支点部分が、異なる軸上に配置され、
前記2つの支点部分が、それぞれ前記異なる軸上を可動である、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のステッチング装置。 - 前記支点部分が、前記ステッチング治具が前記タイヤ中間体の前記サイドウォール部の所定の位置での表面に垂直な方向から圧着可能となるように、前記タイヤ中間体の所定のタイヤ幅方向位置に移動可能であるように構成された、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のステッチング装置。
- 前記支点部分が、前記タイヤ中間体の所定のタイヤ幅方向位置に固定されるように構成された、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載にステッチング装置。
- 前記アームを回転させるための変位付与部をさらに有し、
前記変位付与部が、前記支点部分を基準として、前記ステッチング部分の反対側に配置され、
前記支点部分から前記ステッチング部分までの前記アームの長さは、前記支点部分から前記変位付与部までの前記アームの長さより長い、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載のステッチング装置。 - 前記アームは、前記タイヤ中間体の外輪郭に沿って屈曲した形状である、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載のステッチング装置。
- ステッチング動作中におけるタイヤ中間体のタイヤ径方向に移動可能な支持部を前記タイヤ中間体のタイヤ径方向に移動させながら、一方側が前記支持部に配置された支点部分に連結され、前記支点部分を中心として回転運動可能なアームの他方側に連結された、ステッチング部分のステッチング治具によって、前記タイヤ中間体にタイヤ構成部材を圧着するステッチング方法であって、
前記支点部分をステッチング動作中における前記タイヤ中間体のタイヤ幅方向に移動させる工程を含むことを特徴とする、ステッチング方法。 - ステッチング動作中におけるタイヤ中間体のタイヤ径方向に移動可能な支持部を前記タイヤ中間体のタイヤ径方向に移動させながら、一方側が前記支持部に配置された支点部分に連結され、前記支点部分を中心として回転運動可能なアームの他方側に連結された、ステッチング部分のステッチング治具によって、前記タイヤ中間体にタイヤ構成部材を圧着するステッチング方法であって、
ステッチング動作中に、前記支点部分と前記ステッチング部分とが、ステッチング動作中における前記タイヤ中間体のタイヤ赤道面を境界として互いに反対側に位置することを特徴とする、ステッチング方法。 - ステッチング動作中に、前記支点部分と前記ステッチング部分とが、ステッチング動作中における前記タイヤ中間体のタイヤ赤道面を境界として互いに反対側に位置する、請求項11に記載のステッチング方法。
- ステッチング動作中に、前記支点部分と前記ステッチング部分とが、ステッチング動作中における前記タイヤ中間体のタイヤ赤道面を境界とした同一側に位置する、請求項11に記載のステッチング方法。
- 同一軸上に配置された2つの前記支点部分を、該同一軸上で移動させる工程を含む、請求項11~14のいずれか一項に記載のステッチング方法。
- 異なる2つの軸上に配置された2つの前記支点部分を、それぞれ前記異なる軸上で移動させる工程を含む、請求項11~14のいずれか一項に記載のステッチング方法。
- ステッチング動作中において、前記ステッチング治具が前記タイヤ中間体の前記サイドウォール部の所定の位置での表面に垂直な方向から圧着可能となるように、前記支点部分を前記タイヤ中間体の所定のタイヤ幅方向位置に移動させる工程を含む、請求項11~16のいずれか一項に記載のステッチング方法。
- ステッチング動作中において、前記タイヤ中間体の所定のタイヤ幅方向位置に固定させる工程を含む、請求項11~17のいずれか一項に記載のステッチング方法。
- 前記支点部分を基準として前記ステッチング部分の反対側に配置された変位付与部を動作させることにより、前記アームを、前記支点部分を中心として回転運動させる工程を含み、
前記支点部分から前記ステッチング部分までの前記アームの長さは、前記支点部分から前記変位付与部までの前記アームの長さより長い、請求項11~18のいずれか一項に記載のステッチング方法。 - 前記アームは、ステッチング動作中における前記タイヤ中間体の外輪郭に沿って屈曲した形状である、請求項11~19のいずれか一項に記載のステッチング方法。
