実施例1~10及び比較例1~20においては、表1に示す多価アルコールと脂肪酸とのエステルからなる基油1,A1,A2及びB1と、以下に示す添加剤とを用いて、表2~7に示す組成を有する冷凍機油を調製した。調製した実施例1~10及び比較例1~20の冷凍機油について、以下に示す耐摩耗性試験及び安定性試験を実施した。

耐摩耗性試験には、実コンプレッサと類似の冷媒雰囲気にできる、神鋼造機(株)製の高圧雰囲気摩擦試験機(回転ベーン材と固定ディスク材との回転摺動方式)を用いた。試験条件は、油量:600ml、試験温度:100℃、回転数:450rpm、負荷荷重:60kgf、試験時間:1時間とし、ベーン材としてはSKH-51、ディスク材としてはFC250を用いた。冷媒としては、1,1,1,2-テトラフルオロエタン(R134a)又は2,3,3,3-テトラフルオロプロペン(HFO-1234yf)を使用し、試験容器内圧力は1.1MPaとした。耐摩耗性の評価は、ディスク材の摩耗量が極めて少ないことから、ベーン材の摩耗深さによって行った。得られた結果を表2~7に示す。
安定性試験は、JIS K2211-09(オートクレーブテスト)に準拠して行った。具体的には、含有水分量を100ppmに調整した試料油80gをオートクレーブに秤取し、触媒(鉄、銅、アルミの線、いずれも外径1.6mm×長さ50mm)と、1,1,1,2-テトラフルオロエタン(R134a)又は2,3,3,3-テトラフルオロプロペン(HFO-1234yf)20gとを封入した後、140℃に加熱し、150時間後の試料油の外観及び酸価(JIS C2101)を評価した。得られた結果を表2~7に示す。
