Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a separator comprising a coating layer, a method of manufacturing the same, and a battery using the same.
  • a separator for an electrochemical cell refers to an interlayer membrane which maintains ionic conductivity while separating an anode and a cathode from each other in a cell, thereby allowing the battery to be charged and discharged.
  • Moisture reduction in the membrane prevents the decomposition of the electrolyte due to moisture in the cell and reduces the generation of acids (eg, HF) due to electrolyte degradation, thereby reducing the solid-electrolyte interphase (SEI) and cathode active material. Since reactions such as decomposition can be minimized to suppress a decrease in battery capacity and an increase in internal resistance, in order to improve the performance of an electrochemical cell, not only water in the battery should be low, but also water can be prevented from penetrating into the battery. It is important.
  • the problem to be solved by the present invention is to reduce the moisture content in the membrane and at the same time to reduce the resorption and inflow of water to suppress the increase in moisture in the membrane even under high humidity conditions to provide a separator and improved manufacturing method of moisture resistance. .
