Abstract
Description
特許文献1には、ダッシュボードパネル上部のカウルと、カウルリインフォースメントとにより車幅方向に延びる閉断面構造を成すカウル補強部と、このカウル補強部とフロントピラーインナパネルとを連結するブラケットとを備えるカウルサイド構造が記載されている。特許文献1に記載のカウルサイド構造では、カウル及びカウルリインフォースメントの車幅外側端部が、フロントピラーの閉断面に対して車体前方側にオフセットした位置でカウルサイドパネルに接合される。このブラケットは、車幅内側端部(前端部)がカウル補強部にボルトで締結され、車幅外側端部(後端部)がフロントピラーインナパネルの車幅外側面に予め取り付けられたナットに対して、車幅内側からボルトで締結される。
に対して車体前方側にオフセットした位置で接合されることから、カウルとフロントピラーとの間での荷重伝達効率が悪い。
(実施形態)
本発明の一実施形態について、図1乃至図3を参照して詳細に説明する。説明において、同一の要素には同一の番号を付し、重複する説明は省略する。また、方向を説明する場合は、車両の運転者からみた前後左右上下に基づいて説明する。なお、車幅方向と左右方向は同義である。
車体前部構造1は、車体前部で上下方向に延びるように左右一対で設けられたフロントピラー2と、フロントピラー2の車外側面に接合されるアウタパネル3(図3参照)と、フロントピラー2の間で車幅方向に延びるウインドシールドロア4と、フロントピラー2から前方に延びるサイドメンバ5と、を主に備えている。
フロントピラー2とアウタパネル3は、車両上下方向へ延びる閉断面構造となっている。
フロントピラーインナ21は、その前端部に形成されたインナ前フランジ21aを備える。図2に示すように、フロントピラースティフナ22は、第1溶接部11(後記)よりも前方側でサイドメンバ5側に延びるスティフナ前フランジ22aと、スティフナ側壁部22b(露出部)と、スティフナ前壁22cと、を備える。
アウタパネル3は、図3に示すように、第1溶接部11(後記)よりも前方側でサイドメンバ5側に延びるアウタ前フランジ3aを備える。
また、第2溶接部12は、第1接合部11よりも前方の位置(本実施形態ではウインドシールドロア4突き当て位置よりさらに前方の位置)で、サイドメンバ5の一般部5b、フロントピラースティフナ22のスティフナ前フランジ22a、及びアウタパネル3のアウタ前フランジ3aの3枚を車内側からこの順で重ねてスポット溶接により接合される。
図4は、上記車体前部構造1の組付け方法を説明する図であり、図4(a)はその第1溶接工程を、図4(b)はその第2溶接工程をそれぞれ示す。
[準備工程]
車体前部で上下方向に延びるように左右一対設けられるフロントピラー2と、フロントピラー2の車外側面に接合されるアウタパネル3と、フロントピラー2の間で車幅方向に延びるウインドシールドロア4と、フロントピラー2から前方に延びるサイドメンバ5と、を準備する。
図4(a)に示すように、第1溶接工程では、ウインドシールドロア4のシールドロアフランジ4a、サイドメンバ5の後端部5a、及びフロントピラーインナ21のインナ前フランジ21aを重ねてスポット溶接して第1溶接部11を形成する。なお、スポット溶接は、図中の×印で示されている。
第1溶接工程の完了後、図4(b)に示すように、ウインドシールドロア4とサイドメンバ5とフロントピラーインナ21との3部材を第1溶接部11でスポット溶接した後に、フロントピラースティフナ22とアウタパネル3を車幅外側方向からサイドメンバ5の一般部5bに重ね合わせる。
第2溶接工程では、第1接合部11よりも前方の位置で、サイドメンバ5の一般部5b、フロントピラースティフナ22のスティフナ前フランジ22a、及びアウタパネル3のアウタ前フランジ3aを重ねてスポット溶接して第2溶接部12を形成する。
以上により、車体前部構造1の組付けが完了する。
車体前部構造1の組付け方法によれば、フロントピラー2とウインドシールドロア4の取付部付近においてフロントピラー2の閉断面の一部をサイドメンバ5で構成することで、ウインドシールドロア4の車幅外側端部4bをフロントピラー2の断面内に向けてスポット溶接で接合することができた。そのため、他の補強部材等を設けなくとも、ウインドシールドロア4とフロントピラー2との間の荷重伝達効率を向上することができる。よって、重量増加の抑制、レイアウト自由度の低下を抑制しつつ、車体剛性及び強度を向上することができる。
図5及び図6は、本実施形態に係る車体前部構造の左側のフロントピラー部分を車内側から見た斜視図である。図5は、そのウインドシールドロア4を取り付ける前の斜視図、図6は、そのウインドシールドロア4を取り付けた後の斜視図である。
なお、図6の×印に示すように、分割部53以外の部分において、サイドメンバ5は、シールドロアフランジ4aとスポット溶接される。
図7は、本実施形態に係る車体前部構造の左側のフロントピラー部分を車幅外側方向から見た図である。図8は、図7の2点鎖線で囲んだフロントピラー部分の拡大図であり、図8(a)は、そのフロントピラースティフナ22を取り付ける前の図、図8(b)は、そのフロントピラースティフナ22を取り付けた後の図である。
図9及び図10は、本実施形態に係る車体前部構造の左側のフロントピラー部分を車幅外側方向から見た図である。図9は、そのアッパメンバを取り付ける前の図、図10は、そのアッパメンバを取り付けた後の図である。図11は、図10のA-A矢視断面図である。図12は、図10のB-B矢視断面図である。図1乃至図3と同一の要素には同一の番号を付し、重複する説明は省略する。
車体前部構造1Aは、さらに、サイドメンバ5に沿って前方に延びるアッパメンバ71(図10及び図11参照)を備える。

Claims (6)
- 車体前部で上下方向に延びるように左右一対設けられるとともに、車幅内側のフロントピラーインナと、該フロントピラーインナの車外側面に接合されるフロントピラースティフナと、を有するフロントピラーと、
前記フロントピラーの車外側面に接合されるアウタパネルと、
前記フロントピラーの間で車幅方向に延びるウインドシールドロアと、
前記フロントピラーから前方に延びて当該フロントピラーの閉断面の一部を構成するサイドメンバと、を備える車体前部構造において、
前記ウインドシールドロアは、車幅外側端部にシールドロアフランジを備え、
前記フロントピラーインナは、前端部に形成されたインナ前フランジを備え、
前記サイドメンバは、前記シールドロアフランジと前記インナ前フランジと共にスポット溶接されて第1溶接部を構成する後端部と、該後端部から前方に延びる一般部と、を備え、
前記フロントピラースティフナは、前記第1溶接部よりも前方側のスティフナ前フランジを備え、
前記アウタパネルは前記第1溶接部よりも前方側のアウタ前フランジを備え、
前記第1溶接部よりも前方の位置で前記サイドメンバの一般部と、前記スティフナ前フランジと、前記アウタ前フランジとをスポット溶接した第2溶接部を備えることを特徴とする車体前部構造。 - 前記サイドメンバは、サイドメンバアッパとサイドメンバロアとに上下に分割され、
前記シールドロアフランジは、前記サイドメンバアッパと前記サイドメンバロアとの分割部を跨いで前記サイドメンバに接合されるとともに、前記分割部上にフランジ切欠き部を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車体前部構造。 - 前記第2溶接部よりも後方側の前記分割部に、シール部材を配置したことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車体前部構造。
- 前記フロントピラースティフナは、車幅方向に対向するスティフナ側壁と、該スティフナ側壁の前端から車幅内側に延びるスティフナ前壁と、該スティフナ前壁から前方側に延びる前記スティフナ前フランジと、を有し、
前記アウタパネルは、車幅方向に対向するアウタ側壁と、該アウタ側壁の前端から車幅内側に延びるアウタ前壁と、該アウタ前壁から前方側に延びる前記アウタ前フランジと、前記アウタ側壁及び前記アウタ前壁の一部を切り欠いて前記スティフナ側壁を露出させるアウタ切欠き部と、を有し、
前記アウタ切欠き部によって露出される前記スティフナ側壁の露出部に後端が接合されるとともに、前記サイドメンバに沿って前方に延びるアッパメンバを備えることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の車体前部構造。 - 前記ウインドシールドロアの下方で前記フロントピラーの間で車幅方向に延びるダッシュボードパネルを備え、
前記ダッシュボードパネルは、車幅外側端部にダッシュフランジを備え、
前記アウタ切欠き部よりも下方側の領域において、
前記スティフナ前壁と前記アウタ前壁とをスポット溶接した第3溶接部と、
前記ダッシュフランジと前記インナ前フランジと前記スティフナ前フランジと、をスポット溶接した第4溶接部と、を備えることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の車体前部構造。 - 車体前部で上下方向に延びるように左右一対設けられるとともに、車幅内側のフロントピラーインナと、該フロントピラーインナの車外側面に接合されるフロントピラースティ
フナと、を有するフロントピラーと、
前記フロントピラーの車外側面に接合されるアウタパネルと、
前記フロントピラーの間で車幅方向に延びるウインドシールドロアと、
前記フロントピラーから前方に延びて当該フロントピラーの閉断面の一部を構成するサイドメンバと、を備える車体前部構造において、
前記ウインドシールドロアは、車幅外側端部にシールドロアフランジを備え、
前記フロントピラーインナは、前端部に形成されたインナ前フランジを備え、
前記シールドロアフランジと、前記インナ前フランジと、前記サイドメンバの後端部とをスポット溶接して第1溶接部を構成する第1溶接工程と、
前記フロントピラースティフナは、前記第1溶接部よりも前方側のスティフナ前フランジを備え、
前記アウタパネルは前記第1溶接部よりも前方側のアウタ前フランジを備え、
前記第1溶接部よりも前方の位置で前記サイドメンバの一般部と、前記スティフナ前フランジと、前記アウタ前フランジとをスポット溶接して第2溶接部を構成する第2溶接工程と、により組み付けられることを特徴とする車体の組付け方法。
