設定部12は、リストバンド型端末1-1がとんとん通信を行う相手を設定する機能を有する。具体的には、設定部12は、I/F11を介したユーザ入力に応じて、リストバンド型端末1-2とは異なる他のリストバンド型端末1に対応付くよう設定する機能を有する。例えば、設定部12は、相手の電話番号を設定する。これにより、ユーザは、複数の相手を切り替えながら、とんとん通信を行うことができる。

動作判定部152は、センサ部13により検出された動作が所定の動作であるか否かを判定する機能を有する。より具体的には、動作判定部152は、センサ部13により検出された振動に基づいて、ユーザの動作が、とんとん入力であるか否かを判定する。例えば、動作判定部152は、振動の強さや周期のパターンを記憶しておき、センサ部13により得られた振動波形の振幅が閾値を超えているか、周期のパターンが記憶されたパターンに合致するか否か等に基づいて、とんとん入力であるか否かを判定する。動作判定部152は、ユーザの意図しない動作による振動と、意図したとんとん入力とを区別することができるため、誤動作を防止することができる。
振動信号生成部156は、センサ部13により検出されたとんとん入力に応じて、対応付けられたリストバンド型端末1-2を振動させるための振動信号(第1の振動信号)を生成する機能を有する。より詳しくは、振動信号生成部156は、動作判定部152によりユーザの動作がとんとん入力であると判定された場合に、振動信号を生成する。振動信号生成部156により生成された振動信号は、リストバンド型端末1-2に送信され、相手にとんとん振動が伝えられる。

状態信号生成部155は、リストバンド型端末1-2を装着した相手に対して、センサ部13により検出されたユーザの状態を通知するための状態信号(第1の状態信号)を生成する機能を有する。より詳しくは、状態信号生成部155は、状態判定部153により判定された状態を示す状態信号を生成する。状態信号生成部155により生成された状態信号は、リストバンド型端末1-2に送信され、ユーザの「歩いている」「喫煙している」といった状態が相手に通知される。これにより、ユーザは、特に電話を掛ける等の能動的な動作を行うことなく、相手に自分の状態を伝えるというコミュニケーションを取ることができる。
振動パターン生成部154は、センサ部13により検出された、ユーザによるとんとん入力の振動パターンを示す振動パターン情報(第1の振動パターン情報)を生成する機能を有する。ここで、振動パターン情報とは、振動の強さや周期のパターンを含む情報であり、例えばとんとん入力のリズムを示す情報である。振動パターン生成部154が生成した振動パターン情報は、通信部19によりリストバンド型端末1-2に送信される。
パターン判定部151は、2つの振動パターン情報を比較して、一致するか否かを判定する機能を有する。パターン判定部151は、以下に説明する3つのパターン判定を行う。
振動部16は、制御部15による制御に応じて、リストバンド型端末1-1を振動させる。より具体的には、振動部16は、通信部19によりリストバンド型端末1-2から相手のとんとん入力に応じて生成された振動信号(第2の振動信号)が受信された場合、その振動信号に応じて振動する。振動部16は、予め定められた所定の振動パターンで振動してもよいし、受信した振動信号が振動波形である場合、振動波形に基づき振動することで相手のとんとん叩く動作を再現してもよい。
通知部17は、通信部19によりリストバンド型端末1-2から相手の状態に応じて生成された状態信号(第2の状態信号)が受信された場合、受信された状態信号に応じて相手の状態を示す情報をユーザに通知する。具体的には、通知部17は、「喜んでいる」「喫煙している」といった相手の感情や行動などの状態を示す情報をユーザに通知する。通知部17は、例えば、図2を参照して上記説明したLED3や、図3を参照して上記説明した表示部5、音声出力するスピーカなどにより実現される。リストバンド型端末1-2も同様に通知部17を有しており、リストバンド型端末1-1のユーザの感情や行動などの状態を示す情報は、リストバンド型端末1-2の通知部17により相手に通知される。
記憶部18は、所定の記録媒体に対してデータの記録再生を行う部位である。記憶部18は、例えばHDD(Hard Disc Drive)として実現される。もちろん記録媒体としては、フラッシュメモリ等の固体メモリ、固定メモリを内蔵したメモリカード、光ディスク、光磁気ディスク、ホログラムメモリなど各種考えられ、記憶部18としては採用する記録媒体に応じて記録再生を実行できる構成とされればよい。
通信部19は、制御部15による制御に基づき、設定部12により対応付けられたリストバンド型端末1-2と、有線/無線により通信を行うための通信モジュールである。例えば、通信部19は、インターネットまたは3G/LTE(Long Term Evolution)などに接続され、図4に示したネットワーク7を介してリストバンド型端末1-2と通信する。なお、通信部19は、Bluetooth(登録商標)などにより、リストバンド型端末1-2と直接通信してもよい。
ネットワーク7は、ネットワーク7に接続されている装置から送信される情報の有線、または無線の伝送路である。例えば、ネットワーク7は、WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network)、Wi-Fi(Wireless Fidelity、登録商標)などのインターネットにより構成される。他にも、ネットワーク7は、交換局や基地局を含む、3G/LTEなどの公衆電話網により構成される。
[2-2-1.第1の実施形態]
本実施形態は、対応付けられた2つのリストバンド型端末1の間でとんとん通信を行う形態である。以下、図5を参照して、本実施形態に係る通信システムの動作処理を説明する。
本実施形態は、とんとん通信時にユーザがリストバンド型端末1を装着していない場合に、不在着信をユーザに通知する形態である。以下、図6、図7を参照して、本実施形態に係る通信システムの動作処理を説明する。
本実施形態は、状態通知をトリガとするとんとん通信を行う形態である。以下、図8を参照して、本実施形態に係る通信システムの動作処理を説明する。
本実施形態は、状態通知をトリガとするとんとん通信を行った後、とんとん振動を送られた側に、何をトリガとしてとんとん振動が送られたかを通知する形態である。以下、図11を参照して、本実施形態に係る通信システムの動作処理を説明する。
本実施形態は、ユーザ自身をとんとん通信の相手とする形態である。まず、図13を参照して、本実施形態の概要を説明する。
本実施形態は、リストバンド型端末1-1のユーザとリストバンド型端末1-2のユーザとが、同じタイミングでとんとん入力を行ったか否かを、各ユーザに通知する形態である。本実施形態は、例えば友人同士や恋人同士の間で、とんとん入力のタイミングを合わせるゲームに適用される。本実施形態に係る通信システムが、このようなとんとん入力のタイミングを合わせるゲームとして動作する動作モードを、シンクロモードとも称する。以下、図15~図17を参照して、本実施形態に係る通信システムの動作処理を説明する。
本実施形態は、とんとん通信の終わりのタイミングを判定して、ユーザに通知する形態である。このような、とんとん通信の終わりのタイミングを判定して通知する動作モードを、セッションモードとも称する。以下、図18~図20を参照して、本実施形態に係る通信システムの動作処理を説明する。
本実施形態は、予め記憶された音声や画像の中から、とんとん入力のパターンに応じて振動や音声出力、画像出力などの出力パターンを選択する形態である。例えば、相手が特定のパターンでとんとん入力を行うと、ユーザのリストバンド型端末1から「元気?」という音声が出力される。この音声は、音声合成されていてもよいし、恋人や子供の声を録音した音声が用いられてもよい。このような、とんとん入力のパターンに応じて出力パターンを選択する形態を、出力パターン選択モードとも称する。以下、図21~図24を参照して、本実施形態に係る通信システムの動作処理を説明する。
以上説明したように、本開示の一実施形態に係る通信システムは、より気軽で親密なコミュニケーションを実現することが可能である。より詳しくは、本開示の各実施形態に係る通信システムは、特定の相手と、抵抗感なく、頻繁に挨拶程度のコミュニケーションをすることを可能にする。

前記振動部は、前記通信部により前記他のリストバンド型情報処理装置から前記他のユーザの動作に応じて生成された第2の振動信号が受信された場合、前記第2の振動信号に応じて振動する、請求項1に記載のリストバンド型情報処理装置。 - 前記振動部は、前記通信部により前記第2の振動信号が受信された場合、所定の振動パターンで振動する、請求項7に記載のリストバンド型情報処理装置。
- 前記リストバンド型情報処理装置は、前記センサ部により検出された前記ユーザの状態を記憶する記憶部をさらに備え、
前記振動部は、前記記憶部に記憶された前記ユーザの状態と同一または類似の状態が前記センサ部により検出された場合に振動する、請求項7に記載のリストバンド型情報処理装置。 - 前記リストバンド型情報処理装置は、通知部をさらに備え、
前記センサ部は、前記リストバンド型情報処理装置が前記ユーザに装着されているか否かを検出し、
前記通知部は、前記通信部により前記第2の振動信号が受信された場合に前記センサ部により前記リストバンド型情報処理装置が前記ユーザに装着されていないと検出された場合、前記第2の振動信号が受信されたことを示す情報を前記ユーザに通知する、請求項7に記載のリストバンド型情報処理装置。 - 前記リストバンド型情報処理装置は、前記センサ部により検出された振動パターンを示す第1の振動パターン情報を生成する振動パターン生成部をさらに備え、
前記通信部は、前記他のリストバンド型情報処理装置において生成された第2の振動パターン情報を受信する、請求項1に記載のリストバンド型情報処理装置。 - 前記リストバンド型情報処理装置は、
通知部と、
前記第1の振動パターン情報が示す振動パターンと前記第2の振動パターン情報が示す振動パターンとが一致するか否かを判定する第1パターン判定部と、
をさらに備え、
前記通知部は、前記第1パターン判定部による判定結果を前記ユーザに通知する、請求項11に記載のリストバンド型情報処理装置。 - 前記リストバンド型情報処理装置は、
通知部と、
前記第1の振動パターン情報が示す振動パターンが、第3の振動パターンと一致するか否かを判定する第2パターン判定部と、
をさらに備え、
前記通信部は、前記他のユーザに前記第2パターン判定部による判定結果を通知するために、前記判定結果を前記他のリストバンド型情報処理装置に送信する、請求項11に記載のリストバンド型情報処理装置。 - 前記リストバンド型情報処理装置は、前記第1の振動パターン情報が示す振動パターンが、第4の振動パターンと一致するか否かを判定する第3パターン判定部をさらに備え、
前記通信部は、前記第3パターン判定部による判定結果に対応する出力を前記他のリストバンド型情報処理装置に出力させるために、前記判定結果を前記他のリストバンド型情報処理装置に送信する、請求項11に記載のリストバンド型情報処理装置。 - 前記リストバンド型情報処理装置は、前記他のリストバンド型情報処理装置とは異なる他のリストバンド型情報処理装置に対応付くよう設定する設定部をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のリストバンド型情報処理装置。
- 第1のリストバンド型情報処理装置と、
前記第1のリストバンド型情報処理装置に対応付けられた第2のリストバンド型情報処理装置と、
を備え、
前記第1のリストバンド型情報処理装置は、
第1のユーザの手首に装着するバンド部と、
前記第1のユーザの動作を検出するセンサ部と、
対応付けられた他の前記第2のリストバンド型情報処理装置を振動させるための第1の振動信号を生成する振動信号生成部と、
前記第2のリストバンド型情報処理装置に、前記振動信号生成部により生成された前記第1の振動信号を送信する通信部と、
を有し、
前記第2のリストバンド型情報処理装置は、
第2のユーザの手首に装着するバンド部と、
前記第1のリストバンド型情報処理装置から前記第1の振動信号を受信する通信部と、
前記通信部により受信された前記第1の振動信号に応じて振動する振動部と、
を有する、情報処理システム。 - バンド部が装着されたユーザの動作を検出することと、
検出された前記動作に応じて、対応付けられた他のリストバンド型情報処理装置を振動させるための第1の振動信号を生成することと、
前記他のリストバンド型情報処理装置に、生成された前記第1の振動信号を送信することと、
を備える情報処理方法。 - コンピュータを、
バンド部が装着されたユーザの動作を検出するセンサ部と、
前記センサ部により検出された前記動作に応じて、対応付けられた他のリストバンド型情報処理装置を振動させるための第1の振動信号を生成する振動信号生成部と、
前記他のリストバンド型情報処理装置に、前記振動信号生成部により生成された前記第1の振動信号を送信する通信部と、
として機能させるためのプログラム。
