以下、各成分について詳述する。
両親媒性化合物は、ベシクルを形成し得る両親媒性化合物、すなわちベシクル形成性両親媒性化合物を含むことが必要である。
ベシクル形成性両親媒性化合物としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、糖脂肪酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレン硬化ヒマシ油誘導体、アシルアミノ酸金属塩、リン脂質、HLBが4~12のシリコーン系界面活性剤等が挙げられる。
これらの脂肪酸としては、ラウリン酸、ミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸、ステアリン酸、イソステアリン酸、アラキン酸、ベヘン酸、テトラデセン酸、ヘキサデセン酸、オクタデセン酸、オクタデカジエン酸、エイコセン酸、エイコサテトラエン酸、ドコセン酸、オクタデカトリエン酸等が挙げられる。これらのうち、ステアリン酸が好ましい。
また、ジエステルの場合、二つの脂肪酸は異なっていてもよい。
このようなアシルアミノ酸金属塩としては、例えば、N-ラウロイル-Lグルタミン酸ナトリウム、N-ステアロイル-Lグルタミン酸ナトリウム、ジ(N-ラウロイルグルタミル)リシンナトリウム等が挙げられる。
本発明のベシクル形成性両親媒性化合物として、下記式(2)に示されるHLBが4~12のポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンを用いることが好ましい。
ポリオキシエチレン変性シリコーンを用いる場合、全分子量中に占めるエチレンオキサイドの分子量は20~60%であることが好ましい。
また、配合量は、組成物全量に対して10質量%以下であることが好ましく、5質量%以下であることがより好ましい。配合量が多すぎると、ベシクル安定性に劣る場合がある。
なお、ベシクルの粒子径は、特に限定されるものではないが、通常20~500nm程度であり、50~200nmであることが好ましい。
HLBが12を超えるジメチコンコポリオールとしては、下記式(3)で示される化合物を用いることが好ましい。
また、配合量は、組成物全量に対して1質量%以下であることが好ましく、0.1質量%以下であることがより好ましい。配合量が多すぎると、ベシクルを可溶化してしまう場合がある。
しかし、その他の両親媒性化合物の配合量が多すぎると、ベシクル安定性を損なってしまう場合がある。このため、その他の両親媒性化合物の配合量は、組成物全量に対して0.1質量%以下であることが好ましく、0.01質量%以下であることがより好ましく、配合しないことが特に好ましい。
また、配合量は、組成物全量に対して10質量%以下であることが好ましく、5質量%以下であることがより好ましい。
(b)水の配合量は、組成物全量に対して50質量%以上であることが好ましく、70質量%以上であることがより好ましい。配合量が少なすぎると、ベシクルを形成できない場合がある。
また、配合量は、組成物全量に対して95質量%以下であることが好ましく、90質量%以下であることがより好ましい。配合量が多すぎると、他成分の配合効果が得られない場合がある。
アルコール類としては、例えば、エタノール、プロピレングリコール、ジプロピレングリコール、1,3-ブチレングリコール等が挙げられる。
アルコール類を配合する場合、その配合量は、組成物全量に対して1質量%以上であることが好ましく、2質量%以上であることがより好ましい。また、組成物全量に対して30質量%以下であることが好ましく、25質量%以下であることがより好ましい。アルコール類の配合量が上記範囲外であると、安定なベシクルを形成しにくくなる場合がある。
なお、水性薬剤を配合する場合、水性薬剤を水中に配合してベシクルを形成し、その後、外相を置換することによって、内相中にのみ水性薬剤が存在するマイクロカプセル組成物を本発明の水性組成物に含ませることも可能である。
(c)油として、(a)両親媒性化合物と混合した時に分離する油を用いることが好ましい。本発明では、室温(25℃)で(a)成分と(c)成分を等量で混合後、静置した際、二層に分かれた場合に「分離する」と判断している。
(c)油として、(a)両親媒性化合物と混合した時に分離しない油を用いた場合、ベシクルと油滴を含む本発明の水性組成物を得ることが難しい場合がある。
これらのうち、揮発性炭化水素油の配合量:非揮発性炭化水素油の配合量が、10:4~1:0であることが好ましい。非揮発性炭化水素油の配合量が多すぎると、二層状組成物にする場合の水層と油層の分離性に劣る場合がある。
シリコーン油および/またはIOBが0.05~0.8の極性油は、シリコーン系界面活性剤が形成したベシクルの二分子膜内に取り込まれ、ベシクルをより安定化することができる。
シリコーン油としては、例えば、ジフェニルシロキシフェニルトリメチコン、トリメチルペンタフェニルトリシロキサン、ジフェニルジメチコン、フェニルトリメチコン等のメチルフェニルシリコーン、ジメチルポリシロキサン、メチルハイドロジェンポリシロキサン、オクタメチルシクロテトラシロキサン、デカメチルシクロペンタシロキサン、ドデカメチルシクロヘキサシロキサン等が挙げられる。
また、配合量は、組成物全量に対して1質量%以下であることが好ましく、0.2質量%以下であることがより好ましい。配合量が多すぎると、ベシクル安定性に劣る場合がある。
また、組成物全量に対して50質量%以下であることが好ましく、25質量%以下であることがより好ましい。配合量が多すぎると、油っぽくなる場合がある。
アニオン性界面活性剤および/またはHLBが12を超えるシリコーン系界面活性剤を配合する場合、ベシクル形成後に添加することが好ましい。アニオン性界面活性剤および/またはHLBが12を超えるシリコーン系界面活性剤をベシクル形成前に添加した場合、該界面活性剤によって(c)油が乳化されてしまったり、ベシクル安定性に悪影響を及ぼしてしまう場合がある。
このようにして、シリコーン油および/またはIOBが0.05~0.8の極性油を、(例えばHLBが4~12のシリコーン系界面活性剤からなる)ベシクルにより取り込み、該ベシクルの二分子膜内に存在することができる。
また、(a)成分が形成したベシクルが存在する水層は、ベシクルの存在により白濁しているため、本発明の二層状組成物は、着色しなくても外観が特徴的である。
二層状組成物の層形成速度を上げるためには、(a)成分中にアニオン性界面活性剤および/またはHLBが12を超えるシリコーン系界面活性剤を配合することが好ましい。また、(b)成分中に塩化ナトリウムを配合することも好ましい。塩化ナトリウムを配合すると、界面の泡立ちを抑えてくれる効果も有する。
実施例の説明に先立ち本発明で用いた試験の評価方法について説明する。

はじめに、ベシクルを含む水溶液(水層のみ)のL値(初期値)を測定した。また、4週間経過後に再度L値を測定した。L値の変化により、ベシクル安定性を評価した。

また、試験例1-3によると、ベシクル形成性両親媒性化合物と分離する油であるイソドデカンを用いることで、油を高配合しても安定な組成物を得られることがわかった。
上記の(a)成分と(c)成分の組み合わせとしては、例えば、(a)成分としてHLBが4~12のシリコーン系界面活性剤、(c)成分として炭化水素油が挙げられる。
このような本発明にかかる油滴およびベシクル含有水性組成物は、油を高配合できない従来のベシクル含有組成物と異なり、油を大量に配合できるため、皮膚に塗布した際のうるおい感に優れている。また、ベシクルを含んでいるため、肌なじみにも優れている。
なお、本発明の組成物は、長時間経過後に(ベシクル含有)水層と油層の二層に分離してしまっても、振ることで容易にベシクルと油滴を含む水性組成物を得られることが明らかになっている。
また、表2より、二層状組成物とする場合、ジメチコンコポリオールおよび/または塩化ナトリウムを配合することが好ましいことがわかった。また、HLBが12を超えるシリコーン系界面活性剤であるジメチコンコポリオールを配合した試料は、ベシクル安定性にも非常に優れていた。
また、試験例2-4より、水を保湿剤(ジプロピレングリコール)に置換しても、使用感に優れた二層状組成物を得られることがわかった。
(a)成分と(b)成分とシリコーン油(メチルフェニルポリシロキサン)を撹拌、混合し、ベシクル含有組成物を調製した。シリコーン油以外の油を混合し、ベシクル含有組成物に添加・混合した。
また、イソドデカンの一部を、ベシクル形成性両親媒性化合物(POE(12)ジメチルポリシロキサン)と分離する油である合成イソパラフィン、流動パラフィンに置換しても、使用感に優れた二層状組成物を得られることがわかった(試験例3-2、3-3)。
これらの検討の結果、本発明にかかる(a)成分にHLBが4~12のシリコーン系界面活性剤を含み、(c)成分に炭化水素油を含む水性組成物において、イソドデカンに代表される揮発性炭化水素油の配合量:流動パラフィンに代表される非揮発性炭化水素油の配合量は、10:4~1:0であることが好ましい。
また、試験例4-1の試料(本発明の水性組成物)、試験例4-3の試料(従来の二層状化粧料)を十分に振って、被験者の左右の腕に塗布し、撮影した写真を、それぞれ図3(A)、(B)に示す。
(a)成分と(b)成分とメチルフェニルポリシロキサンを撹拌、混合し、ベシクル含有組成物を調製した。該組成物にイソドデカンを添加・混合した。その後、ホモミキサーで均一になるまで撹拌した。
(b)成分を撹拌後、イソドデカンを添加し、撹拌した。
また、(a)両親媒性化合物を配合しない場合、容易に二層状組成物を得ることができた(試験例4-3)。
しかし、図3(B)によると、試験例4-3は肌へのなじみが悪かった。一方、図4(A)に示されるように、本発明の水性組成物(試験例4-1)は、肌へのなじみが良好であることがわかった。
また、表4によると、従来の乳化物や二層状組成物と比較し、本発明の水性組成物は、使用感に優れていることがわかった。
したがって、本発明の水性組成物において、(c)油の配合量は、5~50質量%であることが好ましい。
(使用時に振ると美容液となる。振った8時間後には、二層状美容液となる。)

Claims (23)
- (a)両親媒性化合物と、
(b)水と、
(c)油と、を含み、
(b)成分中に、(a)成分が形成したベシクルおよび(c)成分を含む油滴が存在することを特徴とする水性組成物。 - 請求項1に記載の水性組成物において、(a)成分にベシクル形成性両親媒性化合物を含むことを特徴とする水性組成物。
- 請求項2に記載の水性組成物において、(a)成分が、糖脂肪酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレン硬化ヒマシ油誘導体、アシルアミノ酸金属塩、リン脂質、HLBが4~12のシリコーン系界面活性剤からなる群より選択されることを特徴とする水性組成物。
- 請求項2または3に記載の水性組成物において、(c)成分として、(a)ベシクル形成性両親媒性化合物と混合した時に分離する油を含むことを特徴とする水性組成物。
- 請求項4に記載の水性組成物において、(a)成分にHLBが4~12のシリコーン系界面活性剤を含み、(c)成分に炭化水素油を含むことを特徴とする水性組成物。
- 請求項5に記載の水性組成物において、(a)成分に、さらにアニオン性界面活性剤および/またはHLBが12を超えるシリコーン系界面活性剤を含むことを特徴とする水性組成物。
- 請求項6に記載の水性組成物において、(b)成分中に、HLBが4~12のシリコーン系界面活性剤が形成したベシクルおよび炭化水素油を含む油滴が存在し、
該ベシクルの表面に、アニオン性界面活性剤および/またはHLBが12を超えるシリコーン系界面活性剤が付着していることを特徴とする水性組成物。 - 請求項5に記載の水性組成物において、(c)成分に、さらにシリコーン油および/またはIOBが0.05~0.8の極性油を含むことを特徴とする水性組成物。
- 請求項8に記載の水性組成物において、(b)成分中に、HLBが4~12のシリコーン系界面活性剤が形成したベシクルおよび炭化水素油を含む油滴が存在し、
該ベシクルの二分子膜内にシリコーン油および/またはIOBが0.05~0.8の極性油を含むことを特徴とする水性組成物。 - (a)両親媒性化合物と(b)水を混合して、(a)成分からなるベシクルを含む水溶液を得た後、
該水溶液と(c)油を混合して得られることを特徴とする水性組成物。 - (a)両親媒性化合物と(b)水を混合して、(a)成分からなるベシクルを含む水溶液を調製する工程と、
該水溶液と(c)油を混合する工程を備えることを特徴とする水性組成物の製造方法。 - (a)HLBが4~12のシリコーン系界面活性剤と(b)水を混合して、(a)成分からなるベシクルを含む水溶液を調製する工程と、
該水溶液と(c)炭化水素油を混合する工程を備えることを特徴とする水性組成物の製造方法。 - 請求項12に記載の製造方法において、(a)成分および(b)成分を混合する際、シリコーン油および/またはIOBが0.05~0.8の極性油を添加することを特徴とする水性組成物の製造方法。
- (a)両親媒性化合物と、
(b)水と、
(c)油と、を含む二層状組成物であって、
(b)成分中に、(a)成分が形成したベシクルが存在する水層と、(c)成分を含む油層からなることを特徴とする二層状組成物。 - 請求項14に記載の二層状組成物において、(a)成分にベシクル形成性両親媒性化合物を含むことを特徴とする二層状組成物。
- 請求項15に記載の二層状組成物において、(a)成分が、糖脂肪酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレン硬化ヒマシ油誘導体、アシルアミノ酸金属塩、リン脂質、HLBが4~12のシリコーン系界面活性剤からなる群より選択されることを特徴とする二層状組成物。
- 請求項15または16に記載の二層状組成物において、(c)成分として、(a)ベシクル形成性両親媒性化合物と混合した時に分離する油を含むことを特徴とする二層状組成物。
- 請求項17に記載の二層状組成物において、(a)成分にHLBが4~12のシリコーン系界面活性剤を含み、(c)成分に炭化水素油を含むことを特徴とする二層状組成物。
- 請求項18に記載の二層状組成物において、(a)成分に、さらにアニオン性界面活性剤および/またはHLBが12を超えるシリコーン系界面活性剤を含むことを特徴とする二層状組成物。
- 請求項19に記載の二層状組成物において、HLBが4~12のシリコーン系界面活性剤が形成したベシクルが存在する水層と、炭化水素油を含む油層からなり、
該ベシクルの表面に、アニオン性界面活性剤および/またはHLBが12を超えるシリコーン系界面活性剤が付着していることを特徴とする二層状組成物。 - 請求項18に記載の二層状組成物において、(c)成分に、さらにシリコーン油および/またはIOBが0.05~0.8の極性油を含むことを特徴とする二層状組成物。
- 請求項21に記載の二層状組成物において、HLBが4~12のシリコーン系界面活性剤が形成したベシクルが存在する水層と、炭化水素油を含む油層からなり、
シリコーン系界面活性剤が形成したベシクルの二分子膜内にシリコーン油および/またはIOBが0.05~0.8の極性油を含むことを特徴とする二層状組成物。 - 請求項14~22のいずれかに記載の二層状組成物において、(b)成分に塩化ナトリウムを含むことを特徴とする二層状組成物。
