When the presenting unit 101 determines that the user has logged in (step S101; Yes), the presenting unit 101 determines whether or not there has been a response from another user (step S102). On the other hand, when the presentation unit 101 determines that the user is not logged in (step S101; No), the notification unit 102 determines whether there is a response from another user (step S104).
- the presenting unit 101 determines that the user a has logged in. Then, the presentation unit 101 determines whether or not another user has reacted to the user a. On the other hand, when the providing apparatus 100 is not notified that the user a has logged in, the presenting unit 101 determines that the user a has not logged in. Then, the notification unit 101 determines whether or not another user has reacted to the user a.

- step S104 when the notification unit 102 determines that there has been a response from another user (step S104; Yes), the notification unit 102 determines whether or not the current response summary notification count is equal to or lower than the notification count upper limit X. Is determined (step S105). On the other hand, when the notification unit 102 determines in step S104 that there is no reaction by another user (step S104; No), the process returns to step S101.
- the notification unit 102 is notified of the number of times the response summary has been currently notified by e-mail. It is determined whether or not the upper limit X has been reached. On the other hand, if the server device 300 does not send a notification to the providing device 100 that there is a response to the user a, the notification unit 102 determines that there is no response from another user and returns to step S101.
- step S105 determines whether the current time has expired the unit time. Is determined (step S106). On the other hand, in step S105, when the notification unit 102 determines that the number of times the summary is notified is less than the notification number upper limit X (step S105; No), the notification unit 102 determines that the currently notified reaction is the upper limit Y of the number of reactions. Is determined (step S108).
- the notification unit 102 has reached the notification count upper limit X. Judge that Then, the notification unit 102 determines whether or not the current time has expired a unit time (for example, one day). On the other hand, if the number of times the summary has already been notified by e-mail is “5”, the notification unit 102 determines that the number of times the summary has been notified has not reached the notification count upper limit X. And the notification part 102 judges whether the reaction notified now is the upper limit Y of the number of reactions.
- step S106 when the notification unit 102 determines that the current time has expired the unit time (step S106; Yes), the notification unit 102 notifies the user of a summary including all unreported reactions (step S106). S107). On the other hand, when the notification unit 102 determines that the current time does not expire the unit time (step S106; No), the process returns to step S101.
- the reaction is not notified of the summary by e-mail.
- the user a is notified of the summary including all.
- the notification unit 102 determines that the current time does not expire “one day” of the unit time, the process returns to step S101.
- step S108 when the notification unit 102 determines that the currently notified reaction has reached the upper limit Y of the number of reactions (step S108; Yes), the notification unit 102 notifies the user of a summary including Y reactions. (Step S109). Then, the counter for the number of reactions is changed to 0 (step S110). On the other hand, when the notification unit 102 determines that the currently notified reaction has not reached the upper limit Y of the number of reactions (step S108; No), the process proceeds to step S106.
- the notification unit 102 determines that the upper limit Y of the number of reactions has been reached. And the notification part 102 notifies a user about the summary about 8 times of reactions. Also, the counter that measures how many times the currently notified reaction is changed to 0. On the other hand, when the number of reactions currently notified is “5”, the notification unit 102 determines that the upper limit Y of the number of reactions has not been reached. Then, the process proceeds to step S106, and the same processing as described above is performed.
- the notification unit 102 determines whether or not the user has performed a predetermined operation on the information included in the notified summary (step S111).
- the notification unit 102 determines that the user has performed a predetermined operation (step S111; Yes)
- the notification unit 102 starts using the service by the user (step S112).
- the notification unit 102 determines that the user is not performing a predetermined operation (step S111; No)
- the notification unit 102 returns to step S101.
- the notification unit 102 causes the server device 300 to start using the service by the user a and, as shown in FIG. A screen 701 including information on individual reactions is displayed.
- the process returns to step S101.
- the order of steps is not limited to the example of FIG. For example, first, it is determined whether the currently notified reaction has reached the upper limit Y of the number of reactions, and if it has been reached, it may be determined whether the notification number upper limit X has been reached. Good.
- the providing apparatus 100 appropriately sets the notification frequency and the number of other users' reactions included in the summary based on the user's behavior.
- the providing apparatus 100 includes a presentation unit 101 and a notification unit 102 as illustrated in FIG.
- the presentation unit 101 of the second embodiment has the same function as that of the first embodiment.
- the notification unit 102 having different functions will be described.
- the notification unit 102 notifies the user of the summary of the reaction by the other user to the user that occurred while the user is not active in the service without going through the service while the user is not active in the service. At this time, the notification unit 102 determines the frequency of notification by the notification unit 102 and the number of responses of other users included in the summary, the ratio of the user performing a predetermined operation on the information included in the notification, and the service. In order to increase the length of time the user is active in
- the predetermined operation performed on the information included in the notification by the user is, for example, an operation of tapping a URL included in the notified e-mail.
- the ratio is, for example, “the number of times the user has tapped a URL or the like included in the e-mail” with respect to “the total number of e-mails notified per unit time (1 day)”.
- the length of time that a user is active in a service is “the time that the user is logged in to the service”, “the time that the service is focused on the screen”, and the like.
- the notification can be considered useful for the user. That is, by determining the frequency of notification and the number of responses of other users included in the summary based on the above ratio and time length, it can be set so as to be useful and not bothersome for the user. In addition, the service provider can be encouraged to use the service by the user.
- ratio A the ratio of the predetermined operation by the user to the information included in the notification
- time length B a time length during which a user is active in the service
- the notification number upper limit X and the reaction number upper limit Y are obtained based on the ratio A and the time length B, and are updated as appropriate.
- the evaluation value based on the ratio A and the time length B is calculated by the evaluation function e (A, B).
- the simplest example is shown below.
- the adjustment of the notification number upper limit X and the reaction number upper limit Y performs maximum likelihood estimation for obtaining X and Y so as to maximize the evaluation value.
- the initial value of the notification count upper limit X or the reaction count upper limit Y is appropriately set, the notification count upper limit X or the reaction count upper limit Y is changed slightly and randomly, and the evaluation value is good. If it becomes, the change is maintained, and if the evaluation value becomes worse, the change is canceled.
- a value obtained by dividing the total number C of responses during logout by the notification number upper limit X is set as the upper limit Y of the number of reactions.
- the unit time may be extended (for example, doubled).
- the present embodiment it is possible to adjust the frequency and amount of the notification so that the summary notification can be notified with a frequency and amount useful for the user and the time for the user to use the service becomes longer. it can.
- the notification unit 102 sets initial values for the notification count upper limit X and the reaction count upper limit Y (step S201).
- the notification unit 102 sets a value designated by the user as an initial value.
- the notification unit 102 determines whether or not the user has logged in (step S202). When determining that the user has logged in (step S202; Yes), the notification unit 102 starts measuring “time length B” in which the user is active in the service (step S203). On the other hand, when the notification unit 102 determines that the user is not logged in (step S202; No), the notification unit 102 determines whether a summary of reaction has been notified (step S206).
- the notification unit 102 determines that the user a has logged in. And the notification part 102 sets the time length B while the user a is logging in, and starts measurement of the time length B.
- the notification unit 102 determines that the user a is not logged in. And the notification part 102 judges whether the summary of reaction was notified.
- the notification unit 102 determines whether or not the current time has expired the unit time (step S204). When the notification unit 102 determines that the current time has expired the unit time (step S204; Yes), the process proceeds to step S211. On the other hand, when the notification unit 102 determines that the current time has not expired (step S204; No), the notification unit 102 determines whether or not the user has logged out (step S205).
- the process proceeds to step S211.
- the notification unit 102 determines whether or not a logout request of the user a is notified from the server device 300.
- step S205 when the notification unit 102 determines that the user has logged out (step S205; Yes), the notification unit 102 determines whether a summary of the reaction has been notified (step S206). On the other hand, when the notification unit 102 determines in step S205 that the user has not logged out (step S205; No), the notification unit 102 returns to step S203 and continues to measure the time length B.
- the notification unit 102 determines that the user a has logged out, and the notification unit 102 determines whether or not the summary of the reaction has been notified.
- the notification unit 102 determines that the user a has not logged out, and continues to measure the length of time B during which the user a has logged in.
- step S206 when the notification unit 102 determines that the reaction summary has been notified (step S206; Yes), the notification unit 102 measures the number of notifications of the reaction summary (step S207). On the other hand, when the notification unit 102 determines that the reaction summary has not been notified (step S206; No), the notification unit 102 waits as it is.
- the notification unit 102 when the notification unit 102 notifies the user of the fifth email including the summary, it is determined that the summary has been notified, and the number of notifications is counted five times. On the other hand, when the notification unit 102 does not notify the summary of the reaction, it waits as it is.
- the notification unit 102 determines whether or not the user has performed a predetermined operation on the information included in the notified summary (step S208).
- the notification unit 102 measures the number of times of the predetermined operation (step S209).
- the notification unit 102 determines that the user has not performed a predetermined operation (step S208; No)
- the notification unit 102 returns to step S206.
- the notification unit determines that the user has performed a predetermined operation. And when the frequency
- the notification unit 102 determines whether or not the current time has expired the unit time (step S210).
- the notification unit 102 obtains the “ratio A” of the predetermined operation for the information included in the notification. (Step S211).
- the notification part 102 updates the notification frequency upper limit X and the upper limit Y of the number of reaction based on the calculated
- the notification unit 102 determines that the current time does not expire the unit time (step S210; No)
- the process returns to step S202.
- the notification unit 102 determines that the current time has expired a unit time (for example, one day)
- the notification unit 102 calculates a ratio of the number of predetermined operations to the measured number of notifications as a ratio A. And the notification part 102 calculates
- the notification unit 102 determines that the current time has not expired a unit time (for example, one day)
- the notification unit 102 returns to step S202.
