図1はこの発明の実施の形態1である電動パワーステアリング装置1を示す、軸線方向に沿った切断断面図、図2は図1の側面図、図3は図1の電動パワーステアリング装置1を駆動制御装置8側から視たときの平面図、図4はこの発明の実施の形態1である電動パワーステアリング装置1を取付ハウジング9A側から視た平面図である。
この駆動制御装置一体型回転電機である電動パワーステアリング装置1は、モータ2と、このモータ2の駆動を制御する駆動制御装置8とが一体化されている。駆動制御装置8は、出力軸16の一端部側に設けられる出力機構である減速機構(図示せず)と反対側の他端部側に設けられている。
モータ2は、永久磁石同期モータであって、固定子11と、この固定子11の内径側に隙間をあけて回転自在に設けられた回転子12と、を備えている。
固定子11は、電磁鋼板を積層して形成された固定子鉄心3と、この固定子鉄心3に形成された軸線方向に延びたスロット(図示せず)に樹脂製のインシュレータ4を介して2組巻装された3相の固定子巻線5と、固定子鉄心3の駆動制御装置8側の端面に設けられた樹脂製のターミナルホルダ6と、このターミナルホルダ6に収められそれぞれの組の固定子巻線5をYまたはΔ結線するための巻線ターミナル7と、一端部がこの巻線ターミナル7に接続され他端部が駆動制御装置8と電気的に接続されたモータターミナル32a、32bと、を備えている。
この取付ハウジング9Aは、中央部にフロントベアリングボックス部14が形成されている。このフロントベアリングボックス部14には、回転子12の出力軸16の一端部を回転支持するためのフロントベアリング13が収納されている。
また、取付ハウジング9Aには、対向して二箇所に径方向に突出した取付フランジ44、及び出力機構ハウジングを取り付けるための嵌着部15が形成されている。
なお、この実施の形態では、取付ネジ33は、取付ハウジング9Aに形成された雌ネジ部に対し、駆動制御装置8側から螺着しているが、雌ネジ部をバーリング加工等によってモータハウジング10Aの取付フランジ47a部に形成し、取付ネジ33を取付ハウジング9A側から螺着するようにしてもよい。
また、駆動制御装置8は、制御基板26とインバータ部27a、27bとの間に設けられインバータ部27a、27bに電力を供給する銅製のターミナル(図示せず)、及びインバータ部27a、27bとコンデンサ(図示せず)、コイル(図示せず)をそれぞれ接続する銅製のターミナル(図示せず)、信号コネクタ43と制御基板26、電源コネクタ42とインバータ部27a、27bを接続する銅製のターミナル(図示せず)を樹脂にインサート成形して一体的に形成されたリードフレーム28と、ヒートシンク部19Aのモータ2と反対側の周縁部に端面が接合され、制御基板26,インバータ部27a、27b、リードフレーム28等を覆ったカバー23と、を備えている。
従って、車両に取り付けられ、運転者の操舵力を補助する、この実施の形態の電動パワーステアリング装置を用いることで、車両の燃費が向上し、二酸化炭素の排出量を削減できる効果がある。
また、モータハウジング10Aは、鋼鉄で構成されているので、モータハウジング10Aに収納された電磁鋼板で構成された固定子鉄心3との線膨張係数の差が少ないため、温度変化が生じても線膨張係数の差によってモータハウジング10Aと固定子鉄心3との間に隙間が殆ど生じることがなく、高温環境下でもモータハウジング10Aに固定子鉄心3を確実に保持固定することができる。
図5はこの発明の実施の形態2である電動パワーステアリング装置1を示す、軸線方向に沿った切断断面図である。
この実施の形態では、モータハウジング10Bは、取付ハウジング9B側の開口部の端部に内側に折曲された折曲部38が形成されている。
モータハウジング10Bは、折曲部38でアルミニウム合金のダイキャスト成形品である取付ハウジング9Bと接合手段である取付ネジ37によって固定されている。
この取付ハウジング9Bの中央部には、フロントベアリングボックス部14が形成されている。このフロントベアリングボックス部14には、回転子12の出力軸16の一端部を回転支持するためのフロントベアリング13が収納されている。
また、取付ハウジング9Bには、対向して二箇所に径方向に突出した取付フランジ44、及び出力機構ハウジング(図示せず)を取り付けるための嵌着部15が形成されている。
また、図5では、リア側ハウジング20とヒートシンク部19Bが別部材で構成されているが、これを一体に構成してもよい。
他の構成は、実施の形態1の電動パワーステアリング装置1と同じである。
モータハウジング10Bと取付ハウジング9Bとは、内径側に折曲された折曲部38で取付ネジ37を用いて接合されているので、モータハウジング10Bの径方向外側に余分な突出がなく、電動パワーステアリング装置1の外形を小さくできる。
図6はこの発明の実施の形態3である電動パワーステアリング装置1を示す、軸線方向に沿った切断断面図である。
この実施の形態では、モータハウジング10Cは、減速機構側に開口部を有し駆動制御装置8側が有底の円筒形状である。モータハウジング10Cの底部の中央部には、出力軸16の他端部を回転支持するためのリアベアリング21を収納するリアベアリングボックス部22が形成されている。
モータハウジング10Cの底面36には、バネ性を有する係合部材39が溶接等によって取り付けられている。この係合部材39は、駆動制御装置8のヒートシンク部19Cに設けられた被係合部40に係合し、モータハウジング10Cとヒートシンク部19Cとを接合固定している。ヒートシンク部19Cは、アルミニウム合金のダイキャスト成形品によって形成されている。このヒートシンク部19Cには、カバー23の端面が接合されている。
アルミニウム合金のダイキャスト成形品である取付ハウジング9Cは、モータハウジング10Cの開口部の端部41をかしめてモータハウジング10Cと連結されている。
取付ハウジング9Cには、モータハウジング10Cの開口部の内周面と密接した軸線方向に延びた嵌着部45cが形成されている。
なお、図6ではモータハウジング10Cを取付ハウジング9Cにかしめ結合しているが、取付ハウジング9Cをモータハウジング10Cにかしめるようにしてもよい。
他の構成は、実施の形態1の電動パワーステアリング装置1と同じである。
モータハウジング10Cと取付ハウジング9Cとは、取付ネジを用いることなく、モータハウジング10Cの端部41を内側にかしめることで簡単に接合されており、径方向の余分な突出がなく、電動パワーステアリング装置1の外形を小さくできる。
図7はこの発明の実施の形態4である電動パワーステアリング装置1を示す、軸線方向に沿った切断断面図である。
この実施の形態では、モータハウジング10Dは、取付ハウジング9A側及び駆動制御装置8側の両方とも開口部を有する円筒形状である。
他の構成は、実施の形態1の電動パワーステアリング装置1と同じである。
モータハウジング10Dの取付ハウジング9A側の開口部には取付フランジ47aが形成され、また駆動制御装置8側の開口部には取付フランジ47bが形成されており、取付フランジ47a、47bは、モータハウジング10Dと一体的にプレス加工等によって容易に形成できる。

Claims (9)
- モータと、このモータの出力軸の一端部側に設けられる出力機構と反対側の他端部側に設けられモータの駆動を制御する駆動制御装置とが一体化されて設けられた駆動制御装置一体型回転電機であって、
前記モータは、薄板鋼板が積層された固定子鉄心に固定子巻線が巻装された固定子と、この固定子の内径側に回転自在に設けられ中心軸線に沿って延びた前記出力軸を有する回転子と、前記固定子鉄心を収納した筒状のモータハウジングと、前記出力軸の前記一端部側に設けられ前記モータハウジングの開口部を塞ぐとともに前記出力機構を収納する出力機構ハウジングが取付けられる取付ハウジングと、を備え、
前記モータハウジングは、鋼鉄材料で構成され、前記取付ハウジングは、鋳造部材で構成されていることを特徴とする駆動制御装置一体型回転電機。 - 前記モータハウジングと前記取付ハウジングとを接合する接合手段は、前記開口部に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の駆動制御装置一体型回転電機。
- 前記接合手段は、前記モータハウジングの端部に径方向に突出して形成された取付フランジに設けられた取付ネジであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の駆動制御装置一体型回転電機。
- 前記接合手段は、前記モータハウジングの端部に内側方向に折曲されて形成された折曲部に設けられた取付ネジであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の駆動制御装置一体型回転電機。
- 前記接合手段は、前記モータハウジングの端部または前記取付ハウジングの一方を他方にかしめる、かしめ接合であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の駆動制御装置一体型回転電機。
- 前記モータハウジングと前記取付ハウジングとを接合する接合部位には、軸線方向に沿って延びて互いに密接した嵌着部が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1~5の何れか1項に記載の駆動制御装置一体型回転電機。
- 前記モータハウジングは、前記開口部の外周縁部にリブが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1~6の何れか1項に記載の駆動制御装置一体型回転電機。
- 前記モータと前記駆動制御装置との間には、前記出力機構と反対側の前記出力軸の他端部を支持するリア側ハウジングが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1~7の何れか1項に記載の駆動制御装置一体型回転電機。
- 前記駆動制御装置一体型回転電機は、電動パワーステアリング装置であることを特徴とする請求項1~8の何れか1項に記載の駆動制御装置一体型回転電機。
