電子機器(100)は、筐体(40)と回路基板(P)と導体シート(101)とを備える。筐体(40)の内部には回路基板(P)が取付けられている。回路基板(P)上には、電子部品(50、51、52、53)が実装されている。導体シート(101)は、第1平面部(110、111、112)と第2平面部(120)と接続部(130、131)とを有する。導体シート(101)は、接続部(130、131)が第1平面部(110、111、112)及び第2平面部(120)より回路基板(P)側へ突出するよう、変形している。第1平面部(110、111、112)における回路基板(P)側の面は、電子部品(50、51、52)に接合している。また、第2平面部(120)における回路基板(P)とは逆側の面は、筐体(40)の内面に接合している。
Description
この発明は、電子部品を備えた電子機器に関するものである。
近年の電子機器では、機器本体の小型化と電子部品の高密度実装化が進むにつれて、筐体内部における発熱対策が課題となっている。例えばスマートフォンやノート型パーソナルコンピュータにおいては、機器本体の小型化および高密度実装化とともに、情報処理性能を向上させるためにCPUの高速化が進んでいる。
そのため、電子機器の筐体内部は、筐体内部の通風性が低下する一方で、CPU等の電子部品の発熱量が増大する環境となっている。よって、近年の電子機器では、当該環境下において、電子部品の温度上昇を抑えることが重要な課題となっている。
そこで、電子部品の温度上昇を抑えた電子機器が特許文献1において開示されている。
図25は、特許文献1に係る電子機器98の主要部の断面図である。図26は、図25に示す天板14Aの表面温度分布を示す図である。
この電子機器98は、電子部品11と、電子部品11を実装する基板12と、熱拡散フィルム13と、筐体14と、電子部品11の表面を被覆する熱伝導性材料層15とを備えている。
筐体14は、電子部品11と、基板12と、熱拡散フィルム13と、熱伝導性材料層15とを収納する収納体である。
熱拡散フィルム13は、熱伝導性材料層15に接続されている。また、熱拡散フィルム13は、筐体14の一部を構成する天板14Aに接着剤により貼付されている。熱拡散フィルム13は、グラファイトフィルムから構成されている。
以上の構造において、電子部品11で発生した熱は、熱伝導性材料層15を介して熱拡散フィルム13へ伝導する。そして、熱拡散フィルム13に伝導した熱は、筐体14へ伝導する。これにより、熱伝導性材料層15、熱拡散フィルム13、及び筐体14は、電子部品11より伝導した熱を筐体14の外部へ放熱し、電子部品11の温度上昇を抑える。
また、近年の電子機器では、電子部品を外界からの電磁波より保護したり、あるいは電子部品から放射される電磁波の漏洩を防止したりすることも重要な課題となっている。そこで、電子部品を電磁シールドした電子機器が特許文献2において開示されている。
図27は、特許文献2に係る電子機器99の主要部の外観斜視図である。
電子機器99は、図27に示すように、回路基板25と、金属ケース26とを備えている。回路基板25には、高周波回路を構成する電子部品21、22が実装されている。さらに、回路基板25上には、電子部品21、22を覆う金属ケース26が取り付けられている。
以上の構造において、電子機器99は、金属ケース26によって、電子部品21、22を外界からの電磁波より保護したり、あるいは電子部品21、22から放射される電磁波の漏洩を防止したりしている。
しかしながら、近年、電子機器の小型化と電子部品の高密度実装化に伴い電子部品と電子機器の収納体との間隔が狭くなり、CPU等の高速化に伴い電子部品の発熱量も増加してきている。
そのため、特許文献1の電子機器98では、単に筐体14の天板14Aの内面に熱拡散フィルム13を貼付しても、図26に示すように、電子部品11に対向する天板14Aの領域において、筐体14の表面温度が局所的に上昇する(ヒートスポット)という問題がある。
一方、特許文献2の電子機器99では、電子部品21、22が金属ケース26によって電磁シールドされているが、電子部品21、22で発生した熱が金属ケース26へ伝導する。そのため、特許文献2の電子機器99においても、金属ケース26に対向する筐体の領域において表面温度が局所的に上昇する(ヒートスポット)という問題がある。
この発明の目的は、電子部品の放熱効率に優れ、収納体の表面温度の局所的な上昇を抑制でき、電子部品を電磁シールドできる電子機器を提供することにある。
本発明の電子機器は、前記課題を解決するために以下の構成を備えている。
(1)電子部品と、
前記電子部品に対向する第1平面部と前記電子部品に対向しない第2平面部と前記第1平面部および前記第2平面部を接続する接続部とを有する導体シートと、
前記電子部品および前記導体シートを収納する収納体と、を備え、
前記第1平面部における前記電子部品側の面は、前記電子部品に接合し、又は、前記第2平面部は、前記収納体の内面に接合し、
前記接続部は、前記第1平面部の周囲に位置し、前記第1平面部より前記電子部品側へ突出している、電子機器。
前記電子部品に対向する第1平面部と前記電子部品に対向しない第2平面部と前記第1平面部および前記第2平面部を接続する接続部とを有する導体シートと、
前記電子部品および前記導体シートを収納する収納体と、を備え、
前記第1平面部における前記電子部品側の面は、前記電子部品に接合し、又は、前記第2平面部は、前記収納体の内面に接合し、
前記接続部は、前記第1平面部の周囲に位置し、前記第1平面部より前記電子部品側へ突出している、電子機器。
この構成において、電子部品で発生した熱はまず、導体シートの第1平面部へ伝導する。そして、第1平面部に伝導した熱は、接続部を介して第2平面部に伝導する。そして、第2平面部に伝導した熱は、第2平面部において面方向に広がりながら収納体へ伝導する。
そのため、この構成では、電子部品で発生した熱が、導体シート及び収納体に拡散されながら収納体の内部または収納体の外部へ放熱される。これにより、電子部品の温度上昇が抑えられる。よって、この構成の電子機器は、導体シートだけでなく収納体でも放熱されるため、電子部品の放熱効率に優れる。
また、この構成では、電子部品で発生した熱が、第1平面部から接続部へ伝導する。そして、接続部へ伝導した熱が第2平面部へ伝導し、第2平面部において面方向に広がりながら収納体へ伝導する。そのため、この構成では、電子部品に対向する収納体の領域における表面温度の局所的な上昇が抑制される。
また、この構成では、電子部品が第1平面部および接続部に覆われる。そのため、この構成では導体シートが、第1平面部および接続部によって電子部品を電磁シールドする。
したがって、この構成の電子機器は、電子部品の放熱効率に優れ、且つ収納体の表面温度の局所的な上昇を抑制できる。さらに、この構成の電子機器は、電子部品を外界からの電磁波より保護したり、あるいは電子部品から放射される電磁波の漏洩を防止したりできる。
(2)前記第2平面部における前記電子部品とは逆側の面は、前記収納体の内面に接合している。
この構成では、第2平面部に伝導した熱は、第2平面部における電子部品とは逆側の面と収納体の内面とが接合することにより、より一層面方向に広がりながら収納体へ伝導する。
(3)前記導体シートは、少なくともアルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金から構成される金属層と、前記金属層の前記電子部品側に形成された第1絶縁層と、を含んでいることが好ましい。
この構成では、金属層がアルミニウム又はアルミニウム合金から構成されるため、導体シートが軽量で柔軟性を有する。また、導体シートの製造コストを低減できる。
さらに、金属層の電子部品側に形成された第1絶縁層により、電子部品と導体シートの金属層とは絶縁される。一方、導体シートにおける電子部品とは逆側には、金属層が露出している。そのため、導体シートが金属層を介して収納体の内面に接合した場合の熱伝導性は、導体シートが後述の第2絶縁層を介して収納体の内面に接合した場合の熱伝導性より優れる。
(4)前記導体シートはさらに、前記金属層の前記電子部品とは逆側に形成された第2絶縁層を含んでいることが好ましい。
この構成では、導体シートが収納体の内面に接合したとき、第2絶縁層により、導体シートの金属層と収納体の内面とが絶縁される。
(5)前記第2絶縁層には、前記金属層を前記電子部品と逆側へ露出させる開口部または切欠部が設けられ、
前記収納体は、前記開口部または前記切欠部を介して前記金属層に接合する金属部を有することが好ましい。
前記収納体は、前記開口部または前記切欠部を介して前記金属層に接合する金属部を有することが好ましい。
この構成では、導体シートの金属層が収納体の金属部に導通する。そして、導体シートの金属層が収納体の金属部を介して回路基板のグランドに接続される。
したがって、この構成によれば、外部からのノイズや、人体による静電気が回路基板に侵入して電子部品を破壊することを防止できる。
(6)前記収納体は、前記導体シートの端を保持し、前記金属層に導通する金属部を有することが好ましい。
この構成では、導体シートの金属層が収納体の金属部を介して回路基板のグランドに接続される。
したがって、この構成によれば、外部からのノイズや、人体による静電気が回路基板に侵入して電子部品を破壊することを防止できる。
(7)前記導体シートは、絞り加工により、前記接続部が前記第1平面部より前記電子部品側へ突出するよう変形していることが好ましい。
この構成では、絞り加工により、電子部品の設置箇所に合わせて接続部を容易に形成することができる。また、絞り加工は絞り加工後の曲げ応力が小さく保形性に優れている。そのため、絞り加工後の導体シートは、両面粘着テープ等の粘着材が無くとも、電子部品を実装する回路基板に接触した状態、あるいは該回路基板に近接した状態を維持することが可能である。
(8)前記第1平面部の前記電子部品とは逆側の面は、前記収納体の内面に接合していることが好ましい。
この構成において、電子部品で発生した熱は、導体シートの第1平面部へ伝導する。そして、第1平面部に伝導した熱は、収納体へ伝導しながら、接続部を介して第2平面部に伝導する。そして、第2平面部に伝導した熱は、第2平面部において面方向に広がりながら収納体へ伝導する。
そのため、この構成では、電子部品で発生した熱が、導体シート及び収納体に拡散されながら収納体の内部または収納体の外部へ速やかに放熱される。これにより、電子部品の温度上昇がより抑えられる。よって、この構成の電子機器は、電子部品の放熱効率により優れる。
(9)前記第1平面部の前記電子部品とは逆側の面と前記収納体の内面との間に嵌められた緩衝材を備えることが好ましい。
この構成では、緩衝材が電子部品への圧力を第1平面部の電子部品とは逆側の面に付与するため、第1平面部と電子部品との密着性が増す。これにより、電子部品から第1平面部への熱伝導性が向上する。
(10)前記接続部はテーパ状に形成されていることが好ましい。
この構成では、接続部がテーパ状に形成されているため、接続部が第1平面部または第2平面部と交わる部分の曲率が低減する。
よって、この構成によれば、この部分における縮流が緩和され、熱伝導性が向上する。また、絞り加工時の導体シートの破損等が低減されるため、導体シートの歩留まり率が向上する。
(11)前記導体シートは、前記電子部品を実装する回路基板の一方主面および前記電子部品の一方主面を覆うよう設けられている。
この構成では、電子部品だけでなく、回路基板の一方主面も導体シートによって電磁シールドされる。したがって、この構成によればシールド効果が向上する。
(12)前記導体シートはさらに、前記回路基板の他方主面および前記電子部品の他方主面を覆うよう設けられている。
この構成では、回路基板の両主面および電子部品の両主面が導体シートによって電磁シールドされる。したがって、この構成によればシールド効果がより向上する。
(13)前記導体シートは、前記回路基板および前記電子部品を封入する封入部を有する。
この構成では、導体シートが、回路基板および電子部品の全てを電磁シールドする。したがって、この構成によればシールド効果がより向上する。
(14)前記収納体は、前記回路基板を複数収納し、
前記導体シートは、前記複数の回路基板を、前記回路基板毎に覆うよう設けられる。
前記導体シートは、前記複数の回路基板を、前記回路基板毎に覆うよう設けられる。
この構成では、複数の回路基板が、導体シートによって回路基板毎に電磁シールドされる。
(15)前記複数の回路基板は、前記収納体内において前記収納体の厚み方向に重なって配置されている。
この構成の電子機器は、複数の回路基板を筺体の長さ方向に並べて配置した電子機器に比べて、筺体の長さ方向において広い空きスペースを確保できる。したがって、この構成の電子機器では、バッテリの占有スペースを広く確保できるため、バッテリの大容量化が可能となる。
(16)前記導体シートは、絞り加工により、前記回路基板および前記電子部品を覆うよう変形している。
この構成では、絞り加工により、回路基板および電子部品の設置箇所に合わせて導体シートを容易に変形することができる。また、絞り加工は絞り加工後の曲げ応力が小さく保形性に優れている。そのため、絞り加工後の導体シートは、両面粘着テープ等の粘着材が無くとも、電子部品を実装する回路基板に接触した状態、あるいは該回路基板に近接した状態を維持することが可能である。
(17)前記導体シートは、真空成形により、前記回路基板および前記電子部品を覆うよう変形している。
この構成では、真空成形により、回路基板および電子部品の設置箇所に合わせて導体シートを容易に変形することができる。また、真空成形は真空成形後の曲げ応力が小さく保形性に優れている。そのため、真空成形後の導体シートは、両面粘着テープ等の粘着材が無くとも、電子部品を実装する回路基板に接触した状態、あるいは該回路基板に近接した状態を維持することが可能である。
(18)電磁波の受信または送信を行うアンテナを備え、
前記導体シートには、前記アンテナに対向する領域に開口部または切欠部が形成されていることが好ましい。

この構成では、導体シートが前記電磁波を遮蔽しないよう、開口部または切欠部が形成されている。したがって、この構成によれば、アンテナによる電子機器と通信相手側の装置との通信が妨げられることを防止できる。
この発明によれば、電子部品の放熱効率に優れ、且つ収納体の表面温度の局所的な上昇を抑制できる電子機器を提供できる。また、この発明によれば、電子部品を外界からの電磁波より保護したり、あるいは電子部品から放射される電磁波の漏洩を防止したりできる。
《第1の実施形態》
本発明の第1の実施形態に係る電子機器について以下説明する。

図1は、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る電子機器100の内部の平面図である。図2は、図1に示す電子機器100から導体シート101を取り外した構成を示す平面図である。図3は、図1に示すS-S線の断面図である。図4は、図1に示すT-T線の断面図である。ここで、図1、図2は、電子機器100の内部を筐体40の天板40A側から天板40Aを透視して見た図である。
電子機器100は、図1、図2に示すように、筐体40と、回路基板Pと、導体シート101と、を備える。電子機器100は、例えばモバイル機器、ポータブル周辺機器、又は据え置き型のネットワーク機器、表示機器、照明機器、家電機器である。
ここで、モバイル機器は、例えば携帯電話、スマートフォン、タブレット、ノート型パーソナルコンピュータ、デジタルカメラ、ポータブルゲーム機、デジタルビデオなどである。ポータブル周辺機器は、例えば外付けのハードディスクドライブ機器、フラッシュメモリドライブ機器(SSD)、ポータブルブルーレイディスク再生機器、ポータブルDVD再生機器、モバイル無線ルータなどである。据え置き型のネットワーク機器は、例えば据え置き型無線ルータ、ネットワークハブ、ネットワークサーバーなどである。表示機器は、例えばLCD、PDPなどである。照明機器は、例えばLED照明、HIDランプなどである。家電機器は、例えば冷蔵庫、エアコンなどである。
筐体40は、直方体状であり、回路基板Pと導体シート101とを収納する。筐体40は、樹脂から構成されている。この樹脂は、例えばABSやポリカーボネイトである。筐体40の内部には、図1~図4に示すように、所定の回路パターン(不図示)が形成された回路基板Pが取付けられている。なお、筺体40は金属から構成されていてもよいし、金属または合金と樹脂との複合材料から構成されていてもよい。
回路基板P上には、電力の供給を受けて発熱する電子部品50、51、52、53と、電磁波の受信または送信を行うアンテナA1、A2とが実装されている。なお、回路基板Pは、その片面に電子部品が実装された片面基板を示しているが、回路基板Pの両面に電子部品が実装された両面基板であってもよい。
なお、筐体40が、本発明の「収納体」に相当する。
電子部品50、51、52、53のそれぞれは、例えばCPU、ベースバンドIC(BBIC)、パワーマネージメントIC(PMIC)、フラッシュメモリ、SIMカードスロット、SDカードスロット、パワーアンプモジュール(PAM)、カメラモジュール等である。
また、電子部品51、52、53及びアンテナA1、A2は、通信システムを構成する。この通信システムは例えば、GSM(登録商標)(Global System for Mobile Communications)、UMTS(Universal MobileTelecommunications System)、LTE(Long Term Evolution)、WLAN(Wireless LAN)、BT(Bluetooth(登録商標))、NFC(Near Field Communication)などである。
電子部品50、51、52、53のそれぞれは、エポキシ樹脂等によりモールドされている。これにより、電子部品50、51、52、53のそれぞれにおける導体シート101側の主面(天面)は、平坦な正方形状を有している。この実施形態において、電子部品50、51、52、53のそれぞれのサイズは、全て同じであり、長さ10mm×幅10mm×高さ0.5mmである。ただし、実施の際は、このサイズに限るものではない。
次に、導体シート101は、図1、図3、図4に示すように、電子部品50、51、52、53に対向する第1平面部110、111、112と、電子部品50、51、52、53に対向しない第2平面部120と、第1平面部110、111、112及び第2平面部120を接続する接続部130、131と、を有する。
なお、この実施形態では、導体シート101の大きさが回路基板Pの大きさとほぼ同じであるが、これに限るものではない。実施の際は、導体シート101の大きさが回路基板Pの大きさより小さくてもよい。同様に、導体シート101の形状も、長方形に限らず、正方形でもよいし、筺体40の内面の形状に合わせて様々な形状のカッティングパターンにしてもよい。
導体シート101には、アンテナA1、A2に対向する領域に円形の開口部71と長方形の切欠部72が形成されている。また、導体シート101は、接続部130、131が第1平面部110、111、112及び第2平面部120より回路基板P側へ突出するよう、変形している。
ここで、導体シート101は、一枚のラミネートシートに対して金型による打ち抜き加工および絞り加工を施すことにより、製造されている。この絞り加工は、電子部品50、51、52、53の設置箇所に合わせて接続部130、131を容易に形成することができる。また、絞り加工は絞り加工後の曲げ応力が小さく保形性に優れている。そのため、絞り加工後の導体シート101は、両面粘着テープ等の粘着材が無くとも、回路基板Pに接触した状態、あるいは該回路基板Pに近接した状態を維持することが可能である。
なお、この実施形態では、打ち抜き加工により開口部71と切欠部72を導体シート101に形成しているが、これに限るものではない。実施の際は、例えばレーザー加工やカット刃加工などにより開口部71と切欠部72を導体シート101に形成してもよい。同様に、この実施形態では、絞り加工により導体シート101を変形させているが、これに限るものではない。実施の際は、絞り加工以外の変形方法、例えば真空成形やブロー成形により導体シート101を変形させてもよい。
また、この実施形態では、開口部71と切欠部72の両方が導体シート101に形成されているが、これに限るものではない。実施の際は、開口部71または切欠部72のいずれか一方が導体シート101に形成されていてもよい。また、開口部71または切欠部72の形状も円形や長方形に限らず、正方形などの他の形状でもよい。同様に、第1平面部110、111、112の形状も長方形に限らず、円形や正方形などの他の形状でもよい。
また、第1平面部110、111、112における回路基板P側の面は、両面粘着テープ150、151、152、153を介して電子部品50、51、52、53に接合している。
なお、第1平面部110、111、112における回路基板P側の面が、電子部品50、51、52、53に近接している場合には(例えば、100μm以内)、必ずしも両者が接合していなくてもよい。この場合には、両面粘着テープが不要である。
また、第1平面部110、111、112における回路基板Pとは逆側の面は、両面粘着テープ160、161、162を介して、天板40Aの内面に接合している。この天板40Aは、筐体40の一部を構成する板である。
なお、この実施形態では、第1平面部110、111、112における回路基板Pとは逆側の面と筺体40内面とが接合しているが、これに限るものではない。実施の際は、筺体40の厚みや回路基板Pの配置によっては、第1平面部110、111、112における回路基板Pとは逆側の面と筺体40内面との間隔が広くなる場合もある。この場合には、第1平面部110、111、112における回路基板Pとは逆側の面と筺体40内面とが接合されなくてもよい。
次に、接続部130は、第1平面部110の周囲に形成されている。同様に、接続部131は、第1平面部111、112の周囲に形成されている。接続部130、131のそれぞれは、絞り加工により、R形状を有している。このRは1~3mmで、例えば1mmである。
接続部130は、図3に示すように、断面が略コの字状であって、第1平面部110及び第2平面部120より回路基板P側へ深さZで突出している。深さZは0.5~2mmであり、例えば0.7mmである。同様に、接続部131は、図4に示すように、第1平面部111、112及び第2平面部120より回路基板P側へ深さZで突出している。
そして、接続部130における回路基板P側の面は、両面粘着テープ180を介して、回路基板Pに接合している。これにより、接続部130は、電子部品50を第1平面部110とともに覆っている。
同様に、接続部131における回路基板P側の面は、両面粘着テープ181を介して、回路基板Pに接合している。これにより、接続部131は、電子部品51、52、53を第1平面部111、112とともに覆っている。
なお、この実施形態では、接続部130が、第1平面部110の周囲を囲み、電子部品50の4つの側面を全て覆っているが、これに限るものではない。実施の際は、電磁シールドされる電子部品によっては必ずしも4つの側面を覆う必要はなく、3つの側面や2つの側面を覆うだけでもよい。
また、第2平面部120における回路基板Pとは逆側の面は、両面粘着テープ170を介して、天板40Aの内面に接合している。
両面粘着テープ150、151、152、153、160、161、162、170、180、181は、図3、図4に示すように、例えばシリコーン樹脂を主成分として導電性フィラーが配合したシリコーンテープで構成されており、高い熱伝導性および低抵抗を有する。
なお、両面粘着テープ150、151、152、153、160、161、162、170、180、181の厚みは10~200μmで、例えば両面粘着テープ150、151、152、153が50μm、両面粘着テープ160、161、162、170が100μm、両面粘着テープ180、181が150μmである。
また、両面粘着テープ150、151、152は、電子部品50、51、52、53の天面の全部に貼付されるのが好ましいが、少なくとも当該天面の中央部を中心とした広範囲に貼付されていればよい。
また、両面粘着テープ160、161、162は、第1平面部110、111、112における回路基板Pとは逆側の面の全体に貼付されるのが好ましいが、少なくとも当該面の中央部を中心とした広範囲、あるいは中央部を除いて端部周辺に貼付されていればよい。
また、両面粘着テープ170は、第2平面部120における回路基板Pとは逆側の面の全体に貼付されるのが好ましいが、少なくとも当該面の中央部を中心とした広範囲、あるいは中央部を除いて端部周辺に貼付されていればよい。
また、両面粘着テープ150、151、152、160、161、162、170、180、181は、エポキシ樹脂やアクリル樹脂やポリイミド樹脂のような粘着剤からなる両面粘着テープやゴムでもよい。両面粘着テープ150、151、152、160、161、162、170、180、181は、繰り返し貼り付け可能な粘着性を有するものでもよい。また、両面粘着テープ150、151、152、160、161、162、170、180、181は、シリコーングリースのような放熱グリースでもよい。
さらに、両面粘着テープ150、151、152、160、161、162、170、180、181に加えてネジ等で導体シート101を電子部品50、51、52、53、回路基板Pまたは筺体40に固定してもよい。
次に、導体シート101の構造について説明する。
図5は、図1に示す導体シート101の拡大断面図である。導体シート101は、金属層140の回路基板P側に形成された第1絶縁層141と、金属層140と、金属層140の回路基板Pと逆側に形成された第2絶縁層142とを含み、これらが順に積層された構造を有している。導体シート101は、所謂一体化されたラミネートシートである。導体シート101の厚みは80~150μmで、例えば120μmである。
金属層140は、アルミニウムから構成されている。金属層140の厚みは、80μmである。金属層140及び第1絶縁層141は、5μm程度のウレタン系接着剤等により貼付されている。同様に、金属層140及び第2絶縁層142も、5μm程度のウレタン系接着剤等により貼付されている。筺体内輻射を高め、導体シート101の放熱性をより向上させるために、導体シート101に対してアルマイト処理を施してもよい。導体シート101に熱放射性の高い放熱塗料をコーティングしてもよい。アルミニウムの調質としては、軟質、硬質いずれでも構わないが、絞り加工などの加工性を考慮すれば軟質の方が好ましい。
なお、金属層140の材料は、アルミニウム合金などを用いてもよい。金属層140は、網目状のような不連続な構造体や、表面積を向上させるためにエンボス加工を施した構造体でもよい。また、金属層140の厚みは、導体シート101の柔軟性と保形性の面から40~120μmの範囲が好ましい。導体シート101の熱伝導性は金属層140の厚みが厚いほど高くなるが、導体シート101の製造コスト(例えばRoll to Roll製法で製造可能な金属層140の厚み)を考慮すると、金属層140の厚みは、100μm以下、特に80μm以下であることが好ましい。
第1絶縁層141及び第2絶縁層142は、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)から構成されている。第1絶縁層141の厚みは、10~40μmで、例えば15μmであり、第2絶縁層142の厚みも、10~40μmで、例えば15μmである。
また、第2絶縁層142には、図3、図4に示すように、金属層140を回路基板Pと逆側へ露出させる切欠部121が形成されている。この切欠部121は、レーザー加工等で導体シート101の第2絶縁層142の端部を除去することにより形成される。
なお、電子機器100では切欠部121が第2絶縁層142に形成されているが、これに限るものではない。実施の際は、開口部が第2絶縁層142に形成されていてもよい。
また、第1絶縁層141及び第2絶縁層142の材料は、ポリエチレン(PE)、ポリプロピレン(PP)、ナイロン(ON)等を用いてもよい。さらに、第1絶縁層141及び第2絶縁層142には、導体シート101の熱伝導性を高めるため導電性粉末などのフィラーが配合されていてもよい。また、第1絶縁層141又は第2絶縁層142の表面を粗くしたり、黒色化することで筺体内輻射を高め、導体シート101の放熱性をより向上させることも可能である。その他、第1絶縁層141及び第2絶縁層142の材料は、シリコーンを用いてもよい。この場合、シリコーン自体の粘着性を利用して、両面粘着テープを用いなくてもよい。
ここで、第1絶縁層141及び第2絶縁層142は、同じ材料を用いる必要はなく、異なる材料を用いてもよい。また、導体シート101の熱伝導性は第1絶縁層141の厚みが薄いほど高くなるが、十分な絶縁性を有するために、第1絶縁層141の厚みは10~30μmであることが好ましい。そして、第1絶縁層141の厚みは第2絶縁層142の厚みより薄い方が好ましい。
なお、第1絶縁層141、第2絶縁層142、または金属層140の表面に、防錆コーティングや静電防止コーティングを施してもよい。
図6は、図3に示す断面における天板40Aの表面温度分布を示す図である。図7は、図4に示す断面における天板40Aの表面温度分布を示す図である。ここで、図6及び図7の上段に示す実線は、電子機器100の表面温度分布を表しており、点線は、電子機器100から導体シート101を取り外した場合の電子機器100の表面温度分布を表している。
以上の構成において、電子部品50で発生した熱は、図1と図3に示すように、導体シート101の第1平面部110へ伝導する。そして、第1平面部110に伝導した熱は、筐体40へ伝導しながら、接続部130を介して第2平面部120に伝導する。
また、電子部品51で発生した熱は、図1と図4に示すように、導体シート101の第1平面部111へ伝導する。そして、第1平面部111に伝導した熱は、筐体40へ伝導しながら、接続部131を介して第2平面部120に伝導する。同様に、電子部品52、53で発生した熱は、導体シート101の第1平面部112へ伝導する。そして、第1平面部112に伝導した熱は、筐体40へ伝導しながら、接続部131を介して第2平面部120に伝導する。
そして、第2平面部120に伝導した熱は、第2平面部120において面方向に広がりながら筐体40へ伝導する。
そのため、電子機器100では、電子部品50~53で発生した熱が、導体シート101及び筐体40に拡散されながら筐体40の内部または筐体40の外部へ放熱される。これにより、電子部品50~53の温度上昇が抑えられる。よって、電子機器100は、導体シート101だけでなく筐体40でも放熱されるため、電子部品50~53の放熱効率に優れる。
なお、図示していないが、回路基板Pにおいてもサーマルビア等による放熱構造は施されている。しかし、回路基板Pの放熱構造だけでは電子部品50~53の温度上昇を抑えることは難しい。また、電子機器100の小型化と電子部品50~53等の高密度実装化に伴い、放熱フィンや冷却ファン等を筐体40内部に設置することが難しい。さらに、冷却ファンの場合には駆動音の問題から、ファンレスあるいは冷却ファンの稼働率の低減が望まれる。そのため、前記の導体シート101による放熱構造が効果的である。
また、電子機器100では、電子部品50~53で発生した熱が、第1平面部110~112において面方向に広がりながら筐体40及び接続部130、131へ伝導する。そして、接続部130、131へ伝導した熱が第2平面部120へ伝導し、第2平面部120において面方向に広がりながら筐体40へ伝導する。そのため、電子機器100では、図6、図7に示すように、電子部品50~53に対向する天板40Aの領域における表面温度の局所的な上昇が抑制される。
また、電子機器100では、電子部品50が第1平面部110及び接続部130に覆われている。同様に、電子部品51~53が第1平面部111、112および接続部131に覆われている。そのため、この構成では導体シート101が、第1第1平面部110~112および接続部130、131によって電子部品50~53を電磁シールドする。
したがって、電子機器100は、電子部品50~53の放熱効率に優れ、且つ筐体40の表面温度の局所的な上昇を抑制できる。さらに、電子機器100は、電子部品50~53を外界からの電磁波より保護したり、あるいは電子部品50~53から放射される電磁波の漏洩を防止したりできる。
また、前述したように導体シート101は、金属層140がアルミニウムから構成されているため、軽量で柔軟性を有する。また、近年のラミネート製造技術により導体シート101は安価に製造することができる。
また、アルミニウムからなる導体シート101は非磁性のため、強磁性のものに比べると電子機器100のアンテナ特性やノイズ特性への影響は小さい。しかし、例えばNFC(Near Field Communication)のようなコイルアンテナを用いた近距離無線通信の場合、電子機器100と通信相手側の装置との間の通信路において導体シート101が介在すると通信が妨げられる虞がある。
そこで、電子機器100では、導体シート101が前記電磁波を遮蔽しないよう、導体シート101に開口部71と切欠部72が形成されている。そのため、電子機器100によれば、アンテナA1、A2による電子機器100と通信相手側の装置との通信が妨げられることを防止できる。
また、電子機器100では、図3、図4に示すように、金属層140を回路基板Pと逆側へ露出させる切欠部121が導体シート101の第2絶縁層142に形成されている。そして、筺体40は、切欠部121を介して金属層140に接合する金属部175を有している。
この構成では、導体シート101の金属層140が筺体40の金属部175に導通する。そして、導体シート101の金属層140が筺体40の金属部175を介して回路基板Pのグランド(不図示)に接続される。
したがって、この構成によれば、外部からのノイズや、人体による静電気が回路基板Pに侵入して電子部品50、51、52、53を破壊することを防止できる。
ここで、本実施形態の電子機器100と図27に示す従来の電子機器99とを比較する。
電子機器99では、金属ケース26を複数設ける場合、複数の金属ケース26をはんだ液により回路基板25に接合する必要がある。そのため、金属ケース26毎に広いはんだ付け領域が回路基板25上に必要となる。また、各はんだ付け領域の接触を防止するために、回路基板25上の各金属ケース26間には所定の間隔が必要となる。
しかし、電子機器100では、例えば図4に示すように、両面粘着テープ181を貼付する領域が回路基板P上にあればよい。すなわち電子機器100では、例えば回路基板P上の電子機器51、52間において、広いはんだ付け領域や所定の間隔を設けなくとも済む。そのため、電子機器100では高密度実装が可能となる。また、導体シート101は金属ケース26に比べて変形することが容易なため、設計変更に対する自由度が高い。
《第2の実施形態》
図8は、本発明の第2の実施形態に係る電子機器200の主要部の断面図である。この実施形態の電子機器200が、前記第1の実施形態に係る電子機器100と相違する点は、フレーム241及び筐体240である。その他の構成については、同じである。そのため、電子機器200では、フレーム241及び筐体240の接合体が本発明の「収納体」に相当する。
図8は、本発明の第2の実施形態に係る電子機器200の主要部の断面図である。この実施形態の電子機器200が、前記第1の実施形態に係る電子機器100と相違する点は、フレーム241及び筐体240である。その他の構成については、同じである。そのため、電子機器200では、フレーム241及び筐体240の接合体が本発明の「収納体」に相当する。
詳述すると、電子機器200では、ステンレス、マグネシウム合金、アルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金などの金属製のフレーム241が筐体240の内面に接合している。筐体240の高さは筐体40の高さより高い。その他の筐体240の構成については、筐体40と同じである。
そして、第1平面部111、112における回路基板Pとは逆側の面は、両面粘着テープ161、162を介してフレーム241の内面に接合している。また、第2平面部120における回路基板Pとは逆側の面は、両面粘着テープ170を介してフレーム241の内面に接合している。
そのため、電子機器200では、電子部品51~53で発生した熱が、第1平面部111、112において面方向に広がりながらフレーム241及び接続部131へ伝導する。そして、接続部131へ伝導した熱が第2平面部120へ伝導し、第2平面部120において面方向に広がりながらフレーム241へ伝導する。そして、フレーム241に伝導した熱が、筐体240へ伝導する。
よって、電子機器200では、電子部品51~53で発生した熱が、導体シート101、フレーム241及び筐体240に拡散されながら、筐体240の内部または筐体240の外部へ放熱される。
したがって、電子機器200は、前記第1の実施形態の電子機器100と同様の効果を奏する。
《第3の実施形態》
図9は、本発明の第3の実施形態に係る電子機器300の主要部の断面図である。この実施形態の電子機器300が、前記第1の実施形態に係る電子機器100と相違する点は、表示部材341及び筐体340である。その他の構成については、同じである。そのため、電子機器300では、表示部材341及び筐体340の接合体が本発明の「収納体」に相当する。
図9は、本発明の第3の実施形態に係る電子機器300の主要部の断面図である。この実施形態の電子機器300が、前記第1の実施形態に係る電子機器100と相違する点は、表示部材341及び筐体340である。その他の構成については、同じである。そのため、電子機器300では、表示部材341及び筐体340の接合体が本発明の「収納体」に相当する。
詳述すると、筐体340には、開口部が形成されている。その他の筐体340の構成については、前記第1の実施形態の筐体240と同じである。そして、表示部材341が筐体340の当該開口部に嵌入されている。表示部材341は例えば液晶パネルである。
そして、第1平面部111、112における回路基板Pとは逆側の面は、両面粘着テープ161、162を介して表示部材341の内面に接合している。また、第2平面部120における回路基板Pとは逆側の面は、表示部材341の内面に接合している。
そのため、電子機器300では、電子部品51~53で発生した熱が、第1平面部111、112において面方向に広がりながら表示部材341及び接続部131へ伝導する。そして、接続部131へ伝導した熱が第2平面部120へ伝導し、第2平面部120において面方向に広がりながら表示部材341へ伝導する。そして、表示部材341に伝導した熱が、筐体340へ伝導する。
よって、電子機器300では、電子部品51~53で発生した熱が、導体シート101、表示部材341及び筐体340に拡散されながら、筐体340の内部または筐体340の外部へ放熱される。
したがって、電子機器300は、前記第1の実施形態の電子機器100と同様の効果を奏する。
なお、表示部材341には、表示部材341の補強および放熱性を考慮して、回路基板Pに対向するようアルミニウム板が設けられている場合がある。その場合には特に、第1平面部111、112における回路基板Pとは逆側の面と、第2平面部120における回路基板Pとは逆側の面とが、表示部材341におけるアルミニウム板の内面に接合することが効果的である。
《第4の実施形態》
図10は、本発明の第4の実施形態に係る電子機器400の主要部の断面図である。この実施形態の電子機器400が、前記第1の実施形態に係る電子機器100と相違する点は、導体シート401及び金属メッシュ部材445、446である。その他の構成については、同じである。なお、金属部175及び金属メッシュ部材445、446が本発明の「金属部」に相当する。
図10は、本発明の第4の実施形態に係る電子機器400の主要部の断面図である。この実施形態の電子機器400が、前記第1の実施形態に係る電子機器100と相違する点は、導体シート401及び金属メッシュ部材445、446である。その他の構成については、同じである。なお、金属部175及び金属メッシュ部材445、446が本発明の「金属部」に相当する。
詳述すると、導体シート401は、切欠部121が設けられていない点で導体シート101と相違する。その他の導体シート401の構成については、導体シート101と同じである。
また、金属メッシュ部材445、446は、金属部175に接合している。そして、金属メッシュ部材445、446は、導体シート401の両端を保持し、導体シート401の金属層140及び金属部175に導通している。
そのため、電子機器400では、導体シート401の金属層140が金属メッシュ部材445、446及び金属部175を介して回路基板Pのグランドに接続される。
したがって、電子機器400は、外部からのノイズや、人体による静電気が回路基板Pに侵入して電子部品50~53などを破壊することを防止できる。
なお、金属メッシュ部材445、446は、他の実施形態の電子機器に備えられていてもよい。
《第5の実施形態》
図11は、本発明の第5の実施形態に係る電子機器500の主要部の断面図である。この実施形態の電子機器500が、前記第1の実施形態に係る電子機器100と相違する点は、導体シート501及び緩衝材Kである。その他の構成については、同じである。

詳述すると、導体シート501は、第1平面部111、112が第2平面部120より回路基板P側へ突出している点で導体シート101と相違する。そのため、接続部531の第1平面部111、112側の縁は、図4に示す接続部131の第1平面部111、112側の縁より短い。その他の導体シート501の構成については、導体シート101と同じである。
そして、緩衝材Kは、第1平面部111、112の回路基板Pとは逆側の面と筐体40の内面との間に嵌められている。緩衝材Kは、ウレタン樹脂等からなるスポンジやシリコーン樹脂等からなる熱伝導性ゴム等から構成されている。
そのため、電子機器500では、第1平面部110、111、112が第2平面部120より回路基板P側へ突出した導体シート101の形状を緩衝材Kによって保つことができる。
また、この構成では、緩衝材Kが電子部品51、52、53への圧力を第1平面部111、112の回路基板Pとは逆側の面に付与するため、第1平面部111、112と電子部品51、52、53との密着性が増す。
したがって、電子機器500によれば、さらに、導体シート101の保形性が向上し、電子部品51、52、53から第1平面部111、112への熱伝導性も向上する。
なお、緩衝材Kは、他の実施形態の電子機器に備えられていてもよい。
《第6の実施形態》
図12は、本発明の第6の実施形態に係る電子機器600の主要部の断面図である。この実施形態の電子機器600が、前記第1の実施形態に係る電子機器100と相違する点は、導体シート601である。その他の構成については、同じである。

詳述すると、導体シート601は、第1平面部111、112と第2平面部120とを接続する接続部631を有する。この接続部631は、テーパ状の縁632を有している。その他の導体シート601の構成については、導体シート101と同じである。
ここで、前記電子機器100において接続部131は、図4に示すように第1平面部111に対して直交している。この直交部分では、縮流が生じ、熱伝導性が低下する。
電子機器600では、接続部631の縁632がテーパ状に形成されているため、縁632の両端部分Rの曲率が、接続部131が第1平面部111と交わる直交部分の曲率より低減する。
したがって、電子機器600によれば、さらに、接続部631の部分Rにおける縮流が緩和され、熱伝導性が向上する。また、部分Rの曲率が緩やかな形状であるため、絞り加工時の導体シート601の破損等が低減される。そのため、導体シート601の歩留まり率が向上する。
ここで、通信システムの特性向上のために回路基板Pの回路設計に変更が生じ、例えば、回路基板P上における電子部品51の周囲にコンデンサやノイズフィルタなどを新たに追加して実装しなければならない場合も起こり得る(図4参照)。この場合、導体シート101を最初から設計し直すのではなく、略コの字状の接続部131を、図12に示す縁632のようにテーパー状に変形させてもよい。これにより、回路基板P上における電子部品51の周囲のスペースが広がり、新たに追加した回路基板P上のコンデンサやノイズフィルタなどを導体シート601で覆うことができる。
なお、前記各実施形態において、接続部の縁の形状は、直線状やテーパ状に限らず、円弧状や階段状などでもよい。
《第7の実施形態》
図13は、本発明の第7の実施形態に係る電子機器700の主要部の断面図である。この実施形態の電子機器700が、前記第1の実施形態に係る電子機器100と相違する点は、2枚の導体シート701、702を備える点である。2枚の導体シート701、702は、前記第1の実施形態の1枚の導体シート101を2枚に切断したものである。その他の構成については、同じである。
図13は、本発明の第7の実施形態に係る電子機器700の主要部の断面図である。この実施形態の電子機器700が、前記第1の実施形態に係る電子機器100と相違する点は、2枚の導体シート701、702を備える点である。2枚の導体シート701、702は、前記第1の実施形態の1枚の導体シート101を2枚に切断したものである。その他の構成については、同じである。
したがって、電子機器700によれば、前記第1の実施形態に係る電子機器100と同様の作用効果を奏する。
《第8の実施形態》
図14は、本発明の第8の実施形態に係る電子機器800の主要部の断面図である。図15は、図14に示す第2平面部890の平面図である。この実施形態の電子機器800が、前記第1の実施形態に係る電子機器100と相違する点は、導体シート801及び筐体840である。その他の電子機器800の構成については、電子機器100と同じである。
図14は、本発明の第8の実施形態に係る電子機器800の主要部の断面図である。図15は、図14に示す第2平面部890の平面図である。この実施形態の電子機器800が、前記第1の実施形態に係る電子機器100と相違する点は、導体シート801及び筐体840である。その他の電子機器800の構成については、電子機器100と同じである。
詳述すると、筐体840は、導体シート801を固定するための台座840B、840Cを有する点で前記筐体40と相違する。その他の筐体840の構成については、筐体40と同じである。そのため、筐体840も、天板840Aや底板840Dを有する。
また、回路基板P1は、長手方向の長さが短い点で前記回路基板Pと相違する。また、回路基板P1の一方主面の両端には、コネクタなどの外部接続端子C1、C2が形成されている。その他の回路基板P1の構成については、回路基板Pと同じである。
また、導体シート801は、電子部品51、52、53に対向する第1平面部111、112と、電子部品51、52、53に対向しない第2平面部820、890と、第1平面部111、112及び第2平面部820を接続する接続部831と、を有する。
ここで、第1平面部111、112における回路基板P1とは逆側の面は、両面粘着テープ161、162を介して、天板840Aの内面に接合している。また、第2平面部820は回路基板P1に対向する第2平面部であり、第2平面部890は回路基板P1に対向しない第2平面部である。
なお、第2平面部820に対向する回路基板P1には、チップコンデンサやチップコイルなどの受動部品が実装されている場合があるが、電子部品51、52、53のような能動部品(発熱部品)ではないため、受動部品が実装されている場合においても第2平面部820は本発明の「電子部品に対向しない」に相当する。
そして、第2平面部890は、図15に示すように、第2平面部890を厚み方向に貫通する金属製のリベット875、876、877によって台座840B、840Cに固定されている。リベット875、876、877の代わりにネジなどを用いてもよい。
第2平面部890の金属層140がリベット875、876、877を介して回路基板P1のグランド(不図示)に接続される。
また、接続部831の形状は、接続部131の形状と異なっている。その他の接続部831の構成については、接続部131と同じである。そのため、接続部831も、第1平面部111、112の周囲に形成されている。
導体シート801は、絞り加工により、第2平面部820、890及び接続部831が第1平面部111、112より回路基板P1側へ突出するよう、変形している。これにより、第2平面部820における回路基板P1側の面は、回路基板P1の一方主面に接触している。
なお、上記のように、第2平面部820に対向する回路基板P1に受動部品が実装されている場合は、第2平面部820の回路基板P1側の面は受動部品に接合している。
そのため、導体シート801は、回路基板P1の一方主面および電子部品51、52、53の一方主面を覆うよう設けられている。
なお、その他の導体シート801の構成については、導体シート101と同じである。また、この実施形態では、導体シート801が、絞り加工により、回路基板P1および電子部品51、52、53を覆うよう変形しているが、これに限るものではない。実施の際は、導体シート801が、例えば真空成形やブロー成形により、回路基板P1および電子部品51、52、53を覆うよう変形していてもよい。
以上の構成において、電子機器800では、電子部品51~53で発生した熱が、第1平面部111、112において面方向に広がりながら接続部831へ伝導する。そして、接続部831へ伝導した熱が第2平面部820、890へ伝導し、第2平面部820、890において面方向に広がりながら筐体840へ伝導する。
よって、電子機器800では、電子部品51~53で発生した熱が、導体シート801、筐体840に拡散されながら、筐体840の内部または筐体840の外部へ放熱される。
したがって、電子機器800によれば、前記第1の実施形態に係る電子機器100と同様に、電子部品51~53の放熱効率に優れ、且つ筐体840の表面温度の局所的な上昇を抑制できる。
また、電子機器800では、回路基板P1の一方主面と電子部品51~53の一方主面とが導体シート801に覆われている。そのため、電子機器800では、電子部品51~53だけでなく、回路基板P1の一方主面も導体シート801によって電磁シールドされる。したがって、電子機器800によればシールド効果が向上する。
また、ケーブル844は、コネクタなどの外部接続端子C1に接続されるとともに、導体シート801の第2平面部890の第1絶縁層141の表面に設けられ、図15に示すように、第2平面部890の端部から引き出される。同様に、ケーブル846は、コネクタなどの外部接続端子C2に接続されるとともに、導体シート801の第2平面部890の第1絶縁層141の表面に設けられ、第2平面部890の端部から引き出される。
ケーブル844、846のそれぞれは、ポリエチレンやポリイミドなどの樹脂で銅などの導体が覆われたケーブルである。ケーブル844、846のそれぞれは、例えば、FPCケーブル、RFケーブル、同軸ケーブルである。ケーブル844、846のそれぞれは、例えば、ディスプレイ、カメラ、アンテナ、バッテリーなどに接続される。
したがって、電子機器800は、外部からのノイズや、人体による静電気が回路基板P1に侵入して電子部品51~53などを破壊することを防止できる。
《第9の実施形態》
図16は、本発明の第9の実施形態に係る電子機器900の主要部の断面図である。図17は、図16に示す第2平面部990の平面図である。この実施形態の電子機器900が、前記第8の実施形態に係る電子機器800と相違する点は、導体シート901である。その他の電子機器900の構成については、電子機器800と同じである。
図16は、本発明の第9の実施形態に係る電子機器900の主要部の断面図である。図17は、図16に示す第2平面部990の平面図である。この実施形態の電子機器900が、前記第8の実施形態に係る電子機器800と相違する点は、導体シート901である。その他の電子機器900の構成については、電子機器800と同じである。
詳述すると、導体シート901は、電子部品51、52、53に対向する第1平面部111、112と、電子部品51、52、53に対向しない第2平面部820、990と、第1平面部111、112及び第2平面部820を接続する接続部831と、回路基板P1の他方主面を覆うよう設けられている第3平面部941と、を有する。
ここで、第2平面部990は、前記第2平面部890と同様に、回路基板P1に対向しない第2平面部である。
なお、第2平面部820に対向する回路基板P1には、チップコンデンサやチップコイルなどの受動部品が実装されている場合があるが、電子部品51、52、53のような能動部品(発熱部品)ではないため、受動部品が実装されている場合においても第2平面部820は本発明の「電子部品に対向しない」に相当する。
そして、第2平面部990は、図17に示すように、第2平面部890を厚み方向に貫通する金属製のリベット875、876、877によって台座840B、840Cに固定されている。リベット875、876、877の代わりにネジなどを用いてもよい。
第2平面部890の金属層140がリベット875、876、877を介して回路基板P1のグランド(不図示)に接続される。
また、第3平面部941における回路基板P1とは逆側の面は、両面粘着テープ963を介して、底板840Dの内面に接合している。両面粘着テープ963の構成は、両面粘着テープ161、162と同じである。
また、第1平面部111、112と第2平面部820、990と接続部831と第3平面部941とによって、電子部品51、52、53及び回路基板P1を封入する封入部940を構成している。回路基板P1は、前記第8の実施形態と異なり、筐体840に取り付けられていない。そのため、導体シート901は、回路基板P1の両主面と電子部品51、52、53とを覆うよう設けられている。
導体シート901は、真空成形により、第2平面部820、990及び接続部831が第1平面部111、112より回路基板P1側へ突出するよう、変形している。これにより、第2平面部820における回路基板P1側の面は、回路基板P1の一方主面に接触している。第3平面部941は、回路基板P1の他方主面を覆うよう設けられている。
次に、導体シート901の構造について説明する。
図18は、図16に示す導体シート801及び導体シート998の断面図である。
熱伝導シート901は、図18に示す2枚の導体シート801及び導体シート998が熱融着されることにより形成されたシートである。熱伝導シート901では、第2平面部990が熱融着された部分である。
導体シート998は、図5に示す熱伝導シート101と同じように、第1絶縁層141と、金属層143と、第2絶縁層142とを含み、これらが順に積層された構造を有している。導体シート998は、封入部940となる凹部位が回路基板P1とは逆側へ突出するよう、真空成形によりカップ状に変形している。同様に、導体シート801も、封入部940となる凹部位が回路基板P1とは逆側へ突出するよう、真空成形によりカップ状に変形している。
この真空成形は、回路基板P1及び電子部品51~53の設置箇所に合わせて封入部940を容易に形成することができる。また、この真空成形は、成形後の曲げ応力が小さく保形性に優れているため、封入部940と両面粘着テープ161、162、963との密着性を向上できる。
なお、その他の導体シート901の構成については、導体シート101と同じである。また、この実施形態では、導体シート901が、真空成形により、回路基板P1および電子部品51、52、53を覆うよう変形しているが、これに限るものではない。実施の際は、導体シート901が、例えば絞り加工により、回路基板P1および電子部品51、52、53を覆うよう変形していてもよい。
以上の構成において、電子機器900では、電子部品51~53で発生した熱が、第1平面部111、112において面方向に広がりながら接続部831へ伝導する。そして、接続部831へ伝導した熱が第2平面部820、990へ伝導し、第2平面部820、990において面方向に広がりながら筐体840へ伝導する。
よって、電子機器900では、電子部品51~53で発生した熱が、導体シート901、筐体840に拡散されながら、筐体840の内部または筐体840の外部へ放熱される。
したがって、電子機器900によれば、前記第1の実施形態に係る電子機器100と同様に、電子部品51~53の放熱効率に優れ、且つ筐体840の表面温度の局所的な上昇を抑制できる。
また、電子機器900では、回路基板P1及び電子部品51~53の全てが導体シート901に覆われている。そのため、電子機器900では、回路基板P1及び電子部品51~53の全てが導体シート901によって電磁シールドされる。したがって、電子機器900によればシールド効果がより向上する。
また、ケーブル844は、コネクタなどの外部接続端子C1に接続されるとともに、導体シート901の第2平面部990の融着層(後述)を面方向に貫通し、図17に示すように、第2平面部990の端部から引き出される。同様に、ケーブル846は、コネクタなどの外部接続端子C2に接続されるとともに、導体シート901の第2平面部990の融着層(後述)を面方向に貫通し、第2平面部990の端部から引き出される。
したがって、電子機器900は、外部からのノイズや、人体による静電気が回路基板P1に侵入して電子部品51~53などを破壊することを防止できる。
《第10の実施形態》
図19は、本発明の第10の実施形態に係る電子機器1000の主要部の断面図である。この実施形態の電子機器1000が、前記第9の実施形態に係る電子機器900と相違する点は、導体シート1001及び回路基板P2、P3である。その他の電子機器1000の構成については、電子機器900と同じである。

詳述すると、筐体840の内部には、所定の回路パターン(不図示)が形成された回路基板P2、P3が収納されている。2枚の回路基板P2、P3は、前記回路基板P1の一部を取り除き、回路基板P1を2枚に分断したものである。そして、回路基板P2には、コネクタなどの外部接続端子C1、C3が形成されており、回路基板P3には、コネクタなどの外部接続端子C2、C4が形成されている。その他の回路基板P2、P3の構成については、回路基板P1と同じである。
また、導体シート1001は、電子部品51、52、53に対向する第1平面部111、112と、電子部品51、52、53に対向しない第2平面部1021、1022、1090、990と、第1平面部111及び第2平面部1021を接続する接続部1031と、第1平面部112及び第2平面部1022を接続する接続部1032と、回路基板P2の他方主面を覆うよう設けられている第3平面部1041と、回路基板P3の他方主面を覆うよう設けられている第3平面部1051と、を有する。
ここで、第2平面部1021、1022は回路基板P2、P3に対向する第2平面部であり、第2平面部1090は、前記第2平面部990と同様に、回路基板P2、P3に対向しない第2平面部である。そして、第2平面部1090は、第2平面部1021及び第2平面部1022を接続する。また、第2平面部990は、図17に示したように、リベット875、876、877によって台座840B、840Cに固定されている。
また、接続部1031の形状は、接続部831の形状と異なっており、接続部1031は回路基板P2に接触しない。なお、回路基板P2に受動部品が実装されている場合においては第8、第9の実施形態の場合と同様である。その他の接続部1031の構成については、接続部831と同じである。そのため、接続部1031も、第1平面部111の周囲に形成されている。
同様に、接続部1032の形状は、接続部831の形状と異なっており、接続部1032は回路基板P3に接触しない。なお、回路基板P3に受動部品が実装されている場合においては第8、第9の実施形態の場合と同様である。その他の接続部1032の構成については、接続部831と同じである。そのため、接続部1032も、第1平面部112の周囲に形成されている。また、第3平面部1041における回路基板P2とは逆側の面は、両面粘着テープ1063を介して、底板840Dの内面に接合している。
同様に、第3平面部1051における回路基板P3とは逆側の面は、両面粘着テープ1064を介して、底板840Dの内面に接合している。両面粘着テープ1063、1064の構成は、両面粘着テープ963と同じである。
また、第1平面部111と第2平面部1021、1090、990と接続部1031と第3平面部1041とによって、電子部品51及び回路基板P2を封入する第1封入部1040を構成している。また、第1平面部112と第2平面部1022、1090、990と接続部1032と第3平面部1051とによって、電子部品52、53及び回路基板P3を封入する第2封入部1050を構成している。第1封入部1040及び第2封入部1050は、第2平面部1090によって接続されている。
即ち、導体シート1001は、複数の回路基板P2、P3と複数の電子部品51、52、53との全てを回路基板毎に覆うよう設けられている。電子機器1000では、Wi-Fi(登録商標)やLTEなどの通信システム系の回路が回路基板P2に形成され、BB(Base Band)回路やPM(Power Module)回路などの制御システム系の回路が回路基板P3に形成されている。
さらに、ケーブル1045は、導体シート1001の第2平面部1090の融着層(後述)を面方向に貫通するとともに、その両端が第2平面部1090の融着層(後述)から引き出されて、コネクタなどの外部接続端子C3、C4にそれぞれ接続される。そのため、回路基板P2は、ケーブル1045を介して回路基板P3と通信などを含む電気的接続が可能である。
なお、この実施形態では、回路基板P2及び回路基板P3が、ケーブル1045を介して接続されているが、これに限るものではない。実施の際は、ケーブル1045を設けず、回路基板P2及び回路基板P3が直接接続されていなくてもよい。
導体シート1001は、真空成形により、第2平面部1021、1022、1090、990及び接続部1031、1032が第1平面部111、112より回路基板P2、P3側へ突出するよう、変形している。これにより、第2平面部1021における回路基板P2側の面は、回路基板P2の一方主面に接触している。第3平面部1041は、回路基板P2の他方主面を覆うよう設けられている。第2平面部1022における回路基板P3側の面は、回路基板P3の一方主面に接触している。第3平面部1051は、回路基板P3の他方主面を覆うよう設けられている。
なお、導体シート1001の構造は、第2平面部1090を有する点で、導体シート901の構造と異なる。即ち、熱伝導シート1001は、熱伝導シート901と同様に、2枚の導体シートが熱融着されることにより形成されたシートである。そして、熱伝導シート1001では、第2平面部990だけでなく、第2平面部1090も熱融着された部分である。その他の導体シート1001の構成については、導体シート901と同じである。
以上の構成において、電子機器1000では、電子部品51~53で発生した熱が、第1平面部111、112において面方向に広がりながら接続部1031、1032へ伝導する。そして、接続部1031、1032へ伝導した熱が第2平面部1021、1022、1090、990へ伝導し、第2平面部1021、1022、1090、990において面方向に広がりながら筐体840へ伝導する。
よって、電子機器1000では、電子部品51~53で発生した熱が、導体シート1001、筐体840に拡散されながら、筐体840の内部または筐体840の外部へ放熱される。
したがって、電子機器1000によれば、前記第1の実施形態に係る電子機器100と同様に、電子部品51~53の放熱効率に優れ、且つ筐体840の表面温度の局所的な上昇を抑制できる。
また、電子機器1000では、回路基板P2、P3と電子部品51~53の全てが回路基板毎に導体シート1001に覆われている。そのため、電子機器1000では、回路基板P2、P3と電子部品51~53の全てが、導体シート1001によって回路基板毎に電磁シールドされる。したがって、電子機器1000によればシールド効果がより向上する。
また、ケーブル844は、コネクタなどの外部接続端子C1に接続されるとともに、導体シート1001の第2平面部990の融着層(後述)を面方向に貫通し、第2平面部990の端部から引き出される。同様に、ケーブル846は、コネクタなどの外部接続端子C2に接続されるとともに、導体シート1001の第2平面部990の融着層(後述)を面方向に貫通し、第2平面部990の端部から引き出される。
ケーブル844、846のそれぞれは、ポリエチレンやポリイミドなどの樹脂で銅などの導体が覆われたケーブルである。ケーブル844、846のそれぞれは、例えば、FPCケーブル、RFケーブル、同軸ケーブルである。ケーブル844、846のそれぞれは、例えば、ディスプレイ、カメラ、アンテナ、バッテリーなどに接続される。
したがって、電子機器1000は、外部からのノイズや、人体による静電気が回路基板P2、P3に侵入して電子部品51~53などを破壊することを防止できる。
《第11の実施形態》
図20は、本発明の第11の実施形態に係る電子機器1100の主要部の断面図である。この実施形態の電子機器1100が、前記第10の実施形態に係る電子機器1000と相違する点は、筐体1140、バッテリB、及び導体シート1101、1102である。その他の電子機器1100の構成については、電子機器1000と同じである。
図20は、本発明の第11の実施形態に係る電子機器1100の主要部の断面図である。この実施形態の電子機器1100が、前記第10の実施形態に係る電子機器1000と相違する点は、筐体1140、バッテリB、及び導体シート1101、1102である。その他の電子機器1100の構成については、電子機器1000と同じである。
詳述すると、筐体1140は、導体シート1101をリベット875、876、877によって固定するための台座1140B、1140Cを有する点で、前記筐体840と相違する。その他の筐体1140の構成については、筐体840と同じである。
次に、2枚の導体シート1101、1102は、前記第10の実施形態の1枚の導体シート1001を2枚に切断したものである。その他の構成については、導体シート1001と同じである。
そして、導体シート1101の第1封入部1040と、導体シート1102の第2封入部1050とは、筐体1140内において筐体1140の厚み方向に重なって配置されている。第1封入部1040は、第2封入部1050の上に載置されている。第1封入部1040の第3平面部1041における回路基板P2とは逆側の面は、両面粘着テープ1063を介して、天板1140Aの内面に接合している。この天板1140Aは、筐体1140の一部を構成する板である。
すなわち、回路基板P2、P3は、筐体1140内において筐体1140の厚み方向に重なって配置されている。
また、導体シート1101の第1封入部1040と、導体シート1102の第2封入部1050とは、互いの第2絶縁層142を挟んで接触している。そのため、第1封入部1040と第2封入部1050との絶縁性を確保することができる。
よって、電子機器1100においても、導体シート1101、1102は、複数の回路基板P2、P3と複数の電子部品51、52、53とを覆うよう回路基板毎に設けられている。
さらに、電源ケーブル1145は、導体シート1102の第2平面部990の融着層(後述)を面方向に貫通するとともに、その両端が第2平面部990の融着層(後述)から引き出されて、回路基板P3のコネクタなどの外部接続用端子C5とバッテリBの電源ポート1195とにそれぞれ接続されている。そのため、回路基板P3は、電源ケーブル1145を介してバッテリBから電源の供給を受けることができる。
さらに、ケーブル1045は、導体シート1101、1102の第2平面部990の融着層(後述)を面方向にそれぞれ貫通するとともに、第2平面部990の融着層(後述)からそれぞれ引き出されて、その両端が回路基板P2、P3のコネクタなどの外部接続用端子C6、C7に接続されている。そのため、回路基板P2は、ケーブル1045を介して回路基板P3と通信などを含む電気的接続が可能である。
以上の構成において、電子機器1100では、電子部品51~53で発生した熱が、第1平面部111、112において面方向に広がりながら接続部1031、1032へ伝導する。そして、接続部1031、1032へ伝導した熱が第2平面部1021、1022、990へ伝導し、第2平面部1021、1022、990において面方向に広がりながら筐体1140へ伝導する。
よって、電子機器1100では、電子部品51~53で発生した熱が、導体シート1101、1102、及び筐体1140に拡散されながら、筐体1140の内部または筐体1140の外部へ放熱される。
したがって、電子機器1100によれば、前記第1の実施形態に係る電子機器100と同様に、電子部品51~53の放熱効率に優れ、且つ筐体1140の表面温度の局所的な上昇を抑制できる。
また、電子機器1100では、回路基板P2と電子部品51の全てが導体シート1101に覆われ、回路基板P3と電子部品52、53の全てが導体シート1102に覆われている。そのため、電子機器1100では、回路基板P2、P3と電子部品51~53の全てが、導体シート1101、1102によって回路基板毎に電磁シールドされる。したがって、電子機器1100によればシールド効果がより向上する。
また、ケーブル1146は、例えば、ディスプレイ、カメラ、アンテナなどに接続される。
したがって、電子機器1100は、外部からのノイズや、人体による静電気が回路基板P2に侵入して電子部品51~53などを破壊することを防止できる。
さらに、第1封入部1040、第2封入部1050を筺体840の長さ方向に並べて配置した電子機器1000に比べて、第1封入部1040、第2封入部1050を筺体1140の厚み方向に重ねて配置した電子機器1100は、筺体1140の長さ方向において広い空きスペースを確保できる。したがって、電子機器1100では、バッテリBの占有スペースを広く確保できるため、バッテリBの大容量化が可能となる。
《その他の実施形態》
前記各実施形態では、図5で示した構造を有する導体シート101、401、501、601、701、702、801を用いたが、異なる構造を有する導体シート811を用いてもよい。

図21は、図5に示す導体シート101の第1変形例に係る導体シート811の拡大断面図である。導体シート811は、2枚の導体シート101を熱融着した構造を有している。
詳述すると、導体シート811は、金属層140の回路基板P側に形成された第1絶縁層141と、金属層140と、融着層845と、金属層140と、金属層140の回路基板Pと逆側に形成された第2絶縁層142とを含み、これらが順に積層された構造を有している。導体シート811の厚みは、170~300μmであり、例えば230μmである。
融着層845は、2枚の導体シート101の第1絶縁層141と第2絶縁層142とが熱融着して形成された層である。そのため、融着層845は熱融着が可能な材料として例えば変性ポリプロピレン(CPP)から構成されている。融着層845の厚みは、20~80μmであり、例えば25μmである。
この構造では、2つの金属層140を熱が伝導し、2つの金属層140が電磁波をシールドする。そのため、前記各実施形態において、導体シート101、401、501、601、701、702、801に代えて、図21に示す構造の導体シート811を用いても、同様の作用効果を奏する。
同様に、前記各実施形態では、図5で示した構造を有する導体シート101、401、501、601、701、702、801を用いたが、異なる構造を有する導体シート821を用いてもよい。
図22は、図5に示す導体シート101の第2変形例に係る導体シート821の拡大断面図である。導体シート821は、第2絶縁層142が形成されていない点で、導体シート101と異なる。その他の導体シート821の構造については、導体シート101と同じである。そのため、導体シート821の厚みは70~110μmで、例えば105μmである。
この構造では、金属層140の回路基板P側に形成された第1絶縁層141により、電子部品50~53と導体シート821の金属層140とが絶縁される。一方、導体シート821における回路基板Pとは逆側の面には、金属層140が露出している。そのため、導体シート821が金属層140を介して筐体40の内面に接合した場合の熱伝導性は、導体シート101が第2絶縁層142を介して筐体40の内面に接合した場合の熱伝導性より優れる。特に、この構造は、導体シート821と筐体40の内面との絶縁が不要な場合に効果的である。
したがって、前記各実施形態において、導体シート101、401、501、601、701、702、801に代えて、図22に示す構造の導体シート821を用いても、同様の作用効果を奏する。
同様に、前記各実施形態では、図5で示した構造を有する導体シート101、401、501、601、701、702、801を用いたが、異なる構造を有する導体シート1111を用いてもよい。
図23は、図5に示す導体シート101の第3変形例に係る導体シート1111の拡大断面図である。導体シート1111は、第1絶縁層141と、金属層140と、グラファイト層849と、第2絶縁層142とを含み、これらが順に積層された構造を有している。第1絶縁層141と金属層140、金属層140とグラファイト層849、及びグラファイト層849と第2絶縁層142は、アクリル系接着剤等により貼付されている。
グラファイト層849は、厚みの薄い一枚のグラファイトシートを、金属層140の絞り加工などによる変形に伴って同様に変形されている。グラファイト層849の熱伝導率は、例えば銅、アルミニウム、アルミニウム合金、ステンレスなどの金属の熱伝導率より高い。即ち、グラファイト層849の熱伝導率は、金属層140の熱伝導率より高い。
この構造では、電子部品50~53からの熱が、金属層140とグラファイト層849とを伝導する。
したがって、前記各実施形態において、導体シート101、401、501、601、701、702、801に代えて、図23に示す構造の導体シート1111を用いても、同様の作用効果を奏する。
特に、この第3変形例では、グラファイト層849を含んだ導体シート1111を用いているため、電子部品50~53に対向する天板の領域における表面温度の局所的な上昇がより抑制される。
なお、収納体の内面と導体シート1111との絶縁が不要な場合には第2絶縁層142を設けなくてもよい。また、電子部品50~53と導体シート1111との絶縁が不要な場合には第1絶縁層141を設けなくてもよい。
ただし、グラファイト層849の変形により、グラファイト層849から黒鉛粉が飛散したり、破損したりするおそれがある場合には、グラファイト層849を第1絶縁層141または第2絶縁層142で保護することが好ましい。
また、同様に、前記各実施形態では、図5で示した構造を有する導体シート101、401、501、601、701、702、801を用いたが、異なる構造を有する導体シート1121を用いてもよい。
図24は、図5に示す導体シート101の第4変形例に係る熱伝導シート1121の拡大断面図である。導体シート1121は、図24に示すように、金属層140とグラファイト層849の積層順序が入れ替わっている点で、前記導体シート1121と異なる。なお、金属層140とグラファイト層849の積層順序は、それぞれの厚みや熱伝導率に応じて適宜設定される。
詳述すると、導体シート1121は、第1絶縁層141と、グラファイト層849と、金属層140と、第2絶縁層142とを含み、これらが順に積層された構造を有している。第1絶縁層141と金属層140、金属層140とグラファイト層849、及びグラファイト層849と第2絶縁層142は、アクリル系接着剤等により貼付されている。
この構造でも、電子部品50~53からの熱が、グラファイト層849と金属層140とを伝導する。
したがって、前記各実施形態において、導体シート101、401、501、601、701、702、801に代えて、図24に示す構造の熱伝導シート1121を用いても、同様の作用効果を奏する。
さらに、この第4変形例でも、グラファイト層849を含んだ導体シート1121を用いているため、電子部品50~53に対向する天板の領域における表面温度の局所的な上昇がより抑制される。
なお、この第4変形例においても、収納体の内面と導体シート1121との絶縁が不要な場合には第2絶縁層142がなくてもよい。同様に、電子部品50~53と導体シート1121との絶縁が不要な場合には第1絶縁層141がなくてもよい。
ただし、グラファイト層849の変形により、グラファイト層849から黒鉛粉が飛散したり破損したりするおそれがある場合には、グラファイト層849を第1絶縁層141または第2絶縁層142で保護することが好ましい。
また、前記各実施形態で用いられる導体シートは、フレキシブルで形状自由度があるため、ヒートパイプ、ヒートシンク、冷却ファン、蓄熱材などと容易に組み合わせることが可能である。
最後に、前記の各実施形態の説明は、すべての点で例示であって、制限的なものではないと考えられるべきである。本発明の範囲は、上述の実施形態ではなく、特許請求の範囲によって示される。さらに、本発明の範囲には、特許請求の範囲と均等の意味および範囲内でのすべての変更が含まれることが意図される。

- 電子部品と、
前記電子部品に対向する第1平面部と前記電子部品に対向しない第2平面部と前記第1平面部および前記第2平面部を接続する接続部とを有する導体シートと、
前記電子部品および前記導体シートを収納する収納体と、を備え、
前記第1平面部における前記電子部品側の面は、前記電子部品に接合し、又は、前記第2平面部は、前記収納体の内面に接合し、
前記接続部は、前記第1平面部の周囲に位置し、前記第1平面部より前記電子部品側へ突出している電子機器。 - 前記第2平面部における前記電子部品とは逆側の面は、前記収納体の内面に接合している、請求項1に記載の電子機器。

- 前記第2絶縁層には、前記金属層を前記電子部品と逆側へ露出させる開口部または切欠部が設けられ、
前記収納体は、前記開口部または前記切欠部を介して前記金属層に接合する金属部を有する、請求項4に記載の電子機器。 - 前記収納体は、前記導体シートの端を保持し、前記金属層に導通する金属部を有する、請求項4に記載の電子機器。
- 前記導体シートは、絞り加工により、前記接続部が前記第1平面部より前記電子部品側へ突出するよう変形している、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の電子機器。
- 前記第1平面部の前記電子部品とは逆側の面は、前記収納体の内面に接合している、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載の電子機器。
- 前記第1平面部の前記電子部品とは逆側の面と前記収納体の内面との間に嵌められた緩衝材を備える、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載の電子機器。
- 前記接続部はテーパ状に形成されている、請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載の電子機器。
- 前記導体シートは、前記電子部品を実装する回路基板の一方主面および前記電子部品の一方主面を覆うよう設けられている、請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載の電子機器。
- 前記導体シートはさらに、前記回路基板の他方主面および前記電子部品の他方主面を覆うよう設けられている、請求項11に記載の電子機器。
- 前記導体シートは、前記回路基板および前記電子部品を封入する封入部を有する請求項12に記載の電子機器。
- 前記収納体は、前記回路基板を複数収納し、
前記導体シートは、前記複数の回路基板を、前記回路基板毎に覆うよう設けられる、請求項11~13のいずれか1項に記載の電子機器。 - 前記複数の回路基板は、前記収納体内において前記収納体の厚み方向に重なって配置されている、請求項14に記載の電子機器。
- 前記導体シートは、絞り加工により、前記回路基板および前記電子部品を覆うよう変形している、請求項11~15のいずれか1項に記載の電子機器。
- 前記導体シートは、真空成形により、前記回路基板および前記電子部品を覆うよう変形している、請求項11~15のいずれか1項に記載の電子機器。
- 電磁波の受信または送信を行うアンテナを備え、
前記導体シートには、前記アンテナに対向する領域に開口部または切欠部が形成されている、請求項1~17のいずれか1項に記載の電子機器。
