Definitions
- the present invention relates to an intake control device, and more particularly to an intake control device having a valve body that adjusts an opening area of an intake manifold.
- Patent Document 1 discloses that a shaft (pivot shaft9 in the literature) is rotated in the vicinity of a flange surface connected to the cylinder head in an intake manifold ((inlet duct2 in the literature).
- a configuration including a valve body that opens and closes (in the literature, control flap3) is shown.
- the valve body When the valve body is set in the open posture shown in FIG. 1 or FIG. 4, the valve body reaches a state of fitting into the recess of the intake manifold, and the opening area of the intake manifold is set to the maximum. Further, by setting the valve body to the restraining posture shown in FIG. 2 or FIG. 5 by the rotation of the shaft, the valve body is displaced to the posture in which the valve body rises inside the intake manifold, and the opening area is reduced.
- Patent Document 2 as in Patent Document 1, a valve body (Klappen 8 in the literature) that swings with the shaft (Klappenschwenkachse 12 in the literature) is provided.
- the valve body is set in the open posture shown in FIG. 6 so that the valve body is fitted into the inner surface of the intake manifold, and the opening area of the intake manifold is set to the maximum. Further, when the valve body is set in the restraining posture shown in FIG. 5, the valve body is displaced to a posture where it rises inside the intake manifold, and the opening area is reduced.
- Patent Document 3 shows an intake control device having a configuration in which a control unit 3 is fitted in a position near the cylinder head 1 in the intake manifold 2.
- the operation mode of the valve body (control valve 41 in the document) in Patent Document 3 is the same as that in Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2, but is characterized in that the control unit 3 is provided in the intake manifold 2.
- the intake manifold 2 includes a first member 2a that contacts the cylinder head 1 and a second member 2b that is connected to the first member 2a.
- the control unit 3 includes a plate-like valve body that opens and closes with respect to the cylindrical housing 6 by a rotation shaft 41. From such a configuration, after the housing 6 of the control unit 3 is fitted into the first member 2a, the valve member is provided in the intake manifold 2 by connecting the second member 2b to the first member 2a.
- the configuration in which the valve body is fitted into the intake manifold in a state where the valve body is set in the open posture acts on the air flowing in the intake passage by smoothing the inner surface of the intake manifold. To reduce resistance.
- the configuration in which the valve body is fitted in the recess of the intake manifold in a state where the valve body is set in the open posture not only the accuracy is required to achieve smooth operation, but also the valve body and the recess If foreign matter adheres to the gap, smooth operation may be impaired and there is room for improvement.
- the intake manifold when manufactured by resin molding, it is configured so that the air flow can be controlled by arranging the valve body at an appropriate position even when the shape accuracy is low as described in Patent Document 3. It is also desirable to do.

For this reason, the movement trajectory of the sub-valve part swells outward of the sleeve when changing from the initial opening posture to the restraining posture.
- a seal portion is formed between the sub-valve portion and the step portion when the valve body is in the restraining posture in order to enhance the blocking effect of the sleeve.
- the valve body of this configuration is alternatively set to, for example, an open posture or a restraint posture, and the position of the sub-valve portion when in the restraint posture is a fixed position. Therefore, at this time, the seal portion is set so that the distance between the sub valve portion and the step portion becomes small. Abstract
Description
