- the display unit 103 displays a simple menu including indexes 41, 42, and 43 as illustrated in FIG. .
- the first operation performed to release the lock after the unlock screen is displayed may be the same as the first operation for displaying the index, and is not limited to the above example.
- a gesture operation in an area 33 other than the lock image 44 on the display 16 may be used.
- the setting unit 102 sets the operation mode to the normal mode when the setting unit 101 receives the third operation in the transition mode. Then, the display unit 103 displays an index associated with the application program as a menu.
- the third operation is, for example, pressing the operation key 17c. For example, when the simple menu shown in FIG. 11B (c) is displayed and the pressing of the operation key 17c, which is the third operation, is accepted, the operation mode is set to the normal mode, as shown in FIG. 11B (d). A normal menu including the index 45 is displayed.
- the activation unit 104 activates an application program associated in advance with the designated index.
- the activation unit 104 causes the application program (for example, calculator software) associated with the index 42 in advance. Start up.
- the application program for example, calculator software
- the activation unit 104 shown in FIG. 1 The activation unit 104 shown in FIG.
- the light emitting unit 105 emits light when the receiving unit 101 receives an operation in the normal mode.
- the light emitting unit 105 emits darker light than when the operation is received in the normal mode.
- the illumination unit 22 when the reception unit 101 receives an operation in the normal mode, the illumination unit 22 emits light as shown in FIG. - the setting unit 102 determines whether the receiving unit 101 has not received an operation for a first time (for example, 3 minutes) (step S101). If the accepting unit 101 determines that the operation is not accepted for the first time (step S101; Yes), the setting unit 102 sets the operation mode of the portable communication device 1 to the sleep mode, for example, a power supply unit 24 is controlled to stop supplying power to the display 16. Further, the lock is set at the same time (step S102). When the lock is set, as described above, the operations accepted by the accepting unit 101 are invalidated except for the first operation and the second operation.

- the process returns to step S102, and the setting unit 102 sets the sleep mode again. And set a lock. Therefore, for example, the display 16 changes from the display state of FIG. 5 to the non-display state of FIG. 4, and the accepting unit 101 invalidates the accepted operations except for the first operation and the second operation. become.
- the setting unit 102 determines that the second time has not elapsed since the indicator was displayed (step S108; No)
- the process returns to S106.
- step S103 the display unit 103 determines that the receiving unit 101 has not received the first operation in a state where the operation mode is set to the sleep mode and the lock is set (step S103; No). ), It is determined whether or not the accepting unit 101 accepts the second operation (step S109).
- step S109 When the display unit 103 determines that the receiving unit 101 has received the second operation (step S109; Yes), the display unit 103 displays a lock release screen (step S110). For example, when the display unit 103 determines that the receiving unit 101 has received an operation of pressing the operation key 17a that is the second operation (step S109; Yes), the display unit 103 displays an unlock screen including the lock image 44 illustrated in FIG. indicate.
