Abstract

L'invention concerne un acier à nitruration modérée qui présente une composition de composants prédéfinie, et, avant la nitruration modérée, une excellente aptitude à l'usinage grâce à une structure dans laquelle le rapport de surface de bainite avant la nitruration modérée est supérieur à 50%, et, après la nitruration modérée, une résistance/dureté égale à celle d'une matière cémentée d'acier classique, par exemple l'acier SCr420, et qui confère des caractéristiques de fatigue supérieures.
