Abstract
Description
第2発明によれば、ターミナルボックスの筐体部が発電電動機のハウジングよりも軽量の材質で構成されているため、ターミナルボックスが発電電動機のハウジングと一体形成されている場合に比べて、ターミナルボックスの重量を軽くすることができる。このため、発電電動機の重心を回転軸側に寄せることができ、振動を抑制することができる。
また、コネクタが下向きに設けられているため、上方からの水滴等の水分が、コネクタ部分からターミナルボックス内に侵入してしまうことを防止できる。
〔1〕全体構成
図1には、本実施形態に係る作業機械としてのハイブリッド油圧ショベル1が示されている。このハイブリッド油圧ショベル1は、車両本体2と作業機3とを備えている。
図2において、ハイブリッド油圧ショベル1は、駆動源としてエンジン4を備えている。エンジン4の出力軸には、発電電動機5および一対の油圧ポンプ6,6が直列に連結され、それぞれエンジン4によって駆動される。
図3において、インバータ10およびキャパシタ12は、旋回体22の車両前方側に設けられている。また、旋回電動モータ11は、旋回体22の中央部に設けられている。旋回体22の車両後方側には、エンジンルーム25が設けられ、エンジンルーム25のさらに後方にカウンタウェイト24が設けられている。エンジンルーム25内には、エンジン4、発電電動機5、および油圧ポンプ6が、それぞれカウンタウェイト24に沿って並設されている。なお、エンジン4、発電電動機5、および油圧ポンプ6は、旋回体22等の車両の限られた空間内への配置が求められることや、動力伝達効率の観点から、それぞれの回転軸が一直線上となるように配置されることが好ましい。
発電電動機5は、3相SR(Switched Reluctance)モータであり、図5に示すように、分割式のハウジング51を備えている。ハウジング51は、エンジン4に固定されてフライホイール4Aを収容するエンジン側ハウジング52と、エンジン側ハウジング52に固定されるポンプ側ハウジング53とを備えている。
図6および図7において、ポンプ側ハウジング53におけるターミナルボックス8の固定位置には、ターミナルボックス8を固定するための固定部531が設けられている。この固定部531には、ターミナルボックス8の固定用のボルト孔532と、ステータコイル551からの導電線14を挿通するためのケーブル挿通孔533(図7参照)と、ケーブル挿通孔533からターミナルボックス8内に侵入した油を発電電動機5内に戻す連通孔としての油戻し孔534とが設けられている。
図8に示すように、ターミナルボックス8は、筐体部8Aと、筐体部8Aの内部空間に収容され、ステータ55からの導電線14が接続されたコネクタとしてのソケット83A,83Bと、一方のソケット83Bを支持する支持部材としての支持プレート84とを備え、ソケット83A,83Bを発電電動機5の回転軸方向に二段重ねで収容している。
プレート固定部814Bは、ソケット固定部814Aを挟んで底面部813の反対側に設けられ、側面部814の内面からの高さがソケット固定部814Aの高さよりも高い円柱状に形成されている。
信号ライン保持部814Dは、側面部814に複数設けられ、その一部が図9に示されている。これら信号ライン保持部814Dは、ソケット固定部814A、プレート固定部814B、および導電線保持部814Cを上面部812側から囲む位置に配置されている。
図14に示すように、プラグ90は、パワーケーブル9の3本のケーブルが挿通される導電性を有したプラグハウジング91と、プラグハウジング91の前面側(ケーブル挿入側とは反対側)の開口部分を覆う金属製のプレート92とを備えている。
当接部911には、凸部912の周囲を囲むようにシールリング93が設けられ、プラグ90がターミナルボックス8のソケット83A,83Bに嵌合した際は、当接部911とターミナルボックス8のケース81の外面との間が、シールリング93によりシールされる。
以上のような構成のハイブリッド油圧ショベル1では、大型かつ大容量の発電電動機5が使用されるため、例えば、乗用車の場合と比べて、ステータ55の重量が非常に重くなる。しかしながら、ターミナルボックス8のケース81が、発電電動機5のポンプ側ハウジング53に着脱自在に設けられているため、ポンプ側ハウジング53からターミナルボックス8を外した状態で、発電電動機5のポンプ側ハウジング53内にステータ55を収容しつつ、ステータコイル551の導電線14をケーブル挿通孔533から容易に引き出すことができる。そして、導電線を一旦引き出してしまえば、後は引き出した導電線を容易にターミナルボックス内に引き込むことができるので、十分な組立性を確保することができる。
例えば、前記実施形態では、ターミナルボックス8のケース81はアルミニウムで構成され、蓋部材82は鋼材の表面に亜鉛メッキを施したもので構成されていたが、ターミナルボックス8の筐体部8Aの材質としてはこれに限られない。要するに、ターミナルボックス8の筐体部8Aが発電電動機5のハウジング51に着脱自在に設けられていればよく、例えば、ケース81や蓋部材82を樹脂で構成したり、蓋部材82を含め筐体部8A全体をアルミニウムで構成してもよい。
前記実施形態では、エンジン4および発電電動機5は、それぞれの回転軸がスプライン結合等により結合されていたが、互いの出力軸の接続方法としてはこれに限られず、例えば、エンジン4の出力軸をいわゆるPTO(Power Take Off)を介して発電電動機5に接続してもよい。
前記実施形態では、発電電動機5にSRモータが用いられていたが、発電電動機5としてはこれに限られず、例えば、PM(Permanent Magnet)モータ等の他の発電電動機に本発明を適用してもよい。

- 作業機械に搭載されたエンジンの出力軸に接続された発電電動機であって、
前記発電電動機に外部の電力供給ケーブルを接続するためのターミナルボックスを備え、
前記ターミナルボックスは、前記発電電動機のハウジング内と連通する内部空間を有した筐体部を備え、
前記ターミナルボックスの筐体部は、前記発電電動機のハウジングに着脱自在に設けられている
ことを特徴とする発電電動機。 - 請求項1に記載の発電電動機において、
前記ターミナルボックスの筐体部は、前記発電電動機のハウジングよりも軽量の材質で形成されている
ことを特徴とする発電電動機。 - 請求項1または請求項2に記載の発電電動機において、
前記ターミナルボックスの筐体部は、耐食材料で構成されるか、または表面に耐食処理が施されている
ことを特徴とする発電電動機。 - 請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載の発電電動機において、
前記ターミナルボックスの筐体部は、アルミニウム製である
ことを特徴とする発電電動機。 - 請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載の発電電動機において、
前記ターミナルボックスの筐体部は、
前記発電電動機のハウジングに着脱自在に設けられたケースと、
シール部材を挟んで前記ケースの内部空間を塞ぐ蓋部材を備え、
前記ケースは、アルミニウム製であり、
前記蓋部材は、鋼材の表面に亜鉛メッキを施して構成されている
ことを特徴とする発電電動機。 - 請求項1から請求項5のいずれかに記載の発電電動機において、
前記発電電動機の内部は、冷却媒体により冷却され、
前記ターミナルボックスは、前記発電電動機の回転軸よりも上方の位置で前記発電電動機に取り付けられている
ことを特徴とする発電電動機。 - 請求項6に記載の発電電動機において、
前記ターミナルボックスは、前記発電電動機の上面よりも下方の位置で前記発電電動機に取り付けられている
ことを特徴とする発電電動機。 - 請求項1から請求項7のいずれかに記載の発電電動機において、
前記発電電動機の内部と前記ターミナルボックスの内部とを連通するケーブル挿通孔と、
前記ケーブル挿通孔におけるケーブル以外の部分を塞ぐ閉塞部材とを備えている
ことを特徴とする発電電動機。 - 請求項8に記載の発電電動機において、
前記ケーブル挿通孔とは別に前記発電電動機の内部と前記ターミナルボックスの内部とを連通する連通孔を備えている
ことを特徴とする発電電動機。 - 請求項1から請求項9のいずれかに記載の発電電動機において、
前記ターミナルボックスは、前記発電電動機に外部の電力供給ケーブルを接続するためのコネクタを収容し、
前記ターミナルボックスが前記発電電動機のハウジングに設けられた状態で、前記コネクタが下向きに配置され、前記コネクタに前記電力供給ケーブルを下方から接続可能に構成した
ことを特徴とする発電電動機。 - 請求項1から請求項10のいずれかに記載の発電電動機において、
前記ターミナルボックスは、前記発電電動機に外部の電力供給ケーブルを接続するための複数のコネクタを収容し、
前記ターミナルボックスが前記発電電動機のハウジングに設けられた状態で、前記複数のコネクタは、前記発電電動機の回転軸方向に並設されている
