図1に示すように、本実施例の着用物品100は、吸収性本体(オムツ本体)200、前胴回り部301および後胴回り部302を備えている。前記吸収性本体200は、着用者の前胴を覆うフロント部201、着用者の後胴を覆うバック部202、ならびに、前記フロント部201とバック部202との間の股間を覆う股部203を有している。
また、吸収性本体200には、着用者の脚部に沿って括れた脚回り部を形成してもよい。
なお、各図において溶着部位はxxで示される。
なお、各図において粒状体3は多数のドットで示される。
換言すれば、前記各集合グループ30は多数の粒状体3の集まりからなり、図3Aに示すように、前記集合グループ30のうちの1つのグループと別のグループとが前記溶着ラインL,Lを挟んで縦横方向に並んでいる。図3Aに示すように、前記各集合グループは縦横方向に多数(3つ以上)並んでいる。
図3Cは所定のパターンで互いに区画された複数の配置エリアDのうちの1つの配置エリアDおよびその周辺を示す。前記1つの配置エリアDは溶着ラインLに囲まれている。
同図に示すように、二点鎖線で示す前記配置エリアDは複数の粒状体3が吸引される吸引エリア1Bよりも一回り大きな領域で設定されている場合が多いだろう。
すなわち、同図に示すように、前記配置エリアDを囲む溶着ラインLと前記吸着エリア1Bの周縁との間には、若干のクリアランスが存在するように前記配置エリアDおよび前記吸引エリア1Bの領域が設定される場合が多いだろう。つまり、前記吸引エリア1Bが前記配置エリアDに包含されている場合が多いだろう。
この場合、前記溶着ラインLと前記吸着エリア1Bとの間にスペースが設けられることになる。
したがって、前記吸着エリア1Bに配置された複数の粒状体3の一部が前記吸着エリア1Bの領域をはみ出した場合、当該はみ出した粒状体3が前記吸着エリア1Bと前記溶着ラインLとの間のスペースに配置されることで、同粒状体の一部が溶着ラインLまではみ出るのを抑制し得る。
なお、前記配置エリアDと前記吸引エリア1Bとが同じ大きさの領域に設定されていてもよい。
また、図3Dに示すように、丸形の前記吸引エリア1Bが方形の前記配置エリアDに包含されていてもよい。
また、各溶着ラインLは完全に連なっている必要はなく、各集合グループ30の粒状体3が他の集合グループ30に移動しにくい程度に溶着部位が継続的に形成されていてもよい。
つまり、所定のパターンで配置された前記各集合グループ30における粒状体3が前記複数のグループのうちの1つのグループから別のグループへ移動するのを抑制する程度に溶着ラインL,Lが形成されていてもよい。
本配置装置は搬送ドラム(搬送装置の一例)4のまわりに、供給装置5、気流偏向体6、第1、第2および第3導入ローラ71,72,73および超音波ホーン(接合装置の一例)81を備える。
図5の前記第1面11は着用者の肌に接する肌面を形成する。
なお、前記気流偏向体6は前記ドラム4を支持するフレームに固定されており、周方向Rに回転するドラム4に対し周方向Rに相対速度を有する。
超音波振動による溶着(シール)では、機械振動を超音波により図4Aのホーン81に伝送し、熱可塑性のウエブを加圧された状態でホーン81とアンビルとの間を通過させることで、ウエブ同士が摩擦熱により溶着される。したがって、非吸引エリア1A(図6)において両ウエブ1,2間に異物である粒状体3が残存しているとシール不良となり易い。
図4Aに示すように、第1導入ローラ71によりキャリアウエブ1を搬送ドラム4に導入しキャリアウエブ1の第1面11(図6)を搬送ドラム4の搬送面41で吸着保持しながら前記キャリアウエブ1を所定の搬送経路つまり前記搬送ドラム4の搬送面41に沿って搬送する。
粒状体3の層の厚さは搬送ドラム4の軸方向の中央が両端よりも厚くてもよい。また、粒状体3の層の厚さは、1つの吸収性本体200(図1)の周縁において薄く、かつ、中央やその近傍において厚くてもよい。
すなわち、前記非吸引エリア1Aにおける一部の粒状体3が前記吸引エリア1Bにおいて吸引保持されているその他の粒状体3に向って移動する。
その結果、図1に示すように、所定のパターンで互いに区画された前記配置エリアDにごとに、複数の粒状体3からなる各集合グループ30がキャリアウエブ1上に配置される。
前記溶着の際に、図3Bのカバーウエブ2とフィルム9も溶着されるが、前記フィルム9はキャリアウエブ1とカバーウエブ2との溶着後に、カバーウエブ2に接着剤により接着されてもよい。
図8~図10は実施例2を示す。
これらの図に示すように、本実施例では非吸引エリア4Aに吐出孔が設けられていない。この実施例の場合も、前記図5~図7の例と同様、図8~図10に示すように、キャリアウエブ1が搬送経路の下流に行くに従いキャリアウエブ1の非吸引エリア1Aの粒状体3が吸引エリア1Bに集まり易い。
なお、本実施例2の場合、前記実施例1に対して吸引孔40の形成密度を高くしてもよい。
その他の構成は、前記実施例1と同様であり、同一部分または相当部分に同一符号を付して、その詳しい説明を省略する。
たとえば、搬送装置としてドラムではなくコンベヤを採用してもよい。
また、キャリアウエブ1とカバーウエブ2との接合方法として、超音波溶着の他に、たとえばヒートシールなどの熱溶着による接合方法を用いてもよい。
また、本発明における「複数の粒状体」とは、粒状の材料の集合体のみからなる場合の他に、複数の粒状体に粉状の材料が混合されている場合も含む概念である。
したがって、そのような変更および修正は、請求の範囲から定まる本発明の範囲内のものと解釈される。

Claims (8)
- 所定のパターンで互いに区画された複数の各配置エリアごとに複数の粒状体が配置される方法であって、
通気性を有するキャリアウエブの第1面を搬送装置の搬送面で保持しながら前記キャリアウエブを所定の搬送経路に沿って搬送する工程と、
前記搬送中のキャリアウエブの前記第1面とは反対の第2面上に前記粒状体を供給する工程と、
前記搬送面に形成された複数の吸引孔から前記キャリアウエブを通して第1エアを吸引して前記キャリアウエブの前記第2面上の前記各吸引孔に相当する各吸引エリアごとに前記複数の粒状体の一部を保持する工程と、
前記キャリアウエブの前記第2面に対面する気流偏向体により、前記第1エアの少なくとも一部に前記キャリアウエブの前記第2面に沿う方向の流れの成分を付与して、前記キャリアウエブ上の前記複数の吸引孔のうちの1つの吸引孔と別の1つの吸引孔との間の非吸引エリアの前記複数の粒状体のうちの残りの一部を少なくとも1つの前記吸引エリアに向って移動させて前記粒状体を前記キャリアウエブ上に前記所定のパターンで前記各配置エリアごとに配置する工程とを備える。 - 請求項1の方法において、前記粒状体を前記所定のパターンで配置する工程の後に、前記キャリアウエブの前記第2面および前記粒状体をカバーウエブで覆ってサンドイッチ構造体を生成する工程と、

通気性を有するキャリアウエブの第1面を搬送面で保持しながら前記キャリアウエブを所定の搬送経路に沿って搬送するための搬送装置と、
前記搬送中のキャリアウエブの前記第1面とは反対の第2面上に前記粒状体を供給するための供給装置と、
前記搬送面に形成された複数の吸引孔を包含し前記キャリアウエブを通して第1エアを前記吸引孔に吸引して前記キャリアウエブの前記第2面上の前記各吸引孔に相当する各吸引エリアごとに前記複数の粒状体の一部を保持するための吸引装置と、
前記キャリアウエブの前記第2面に対面して設けられ、前記第1エアの少なくとも一部に前記キャリアウエブの前記第2面に沿う方向の流れの成分を付与する気流偏向体とを備える。 - 請求項5の配置する装置において、前記気流偏向体よりも前記キャリアウエブの前記搬送経路の下流において前記キャリアウエブの前記第2面および前記粒状体をカバーウエブが覆ったサンドイッチ構造体を生成するために前記カバーウエブを前記搬送経路に導入するための導入装置と、
前記所定のパターンで配置された前記各配置エリアの前記粒状体が前記複数の配置エリアのうちの1つの配置エリアから別の配置エリアへ移動するのを抑制するために、前記複数の吸引孔のうちの1つの吸引孔と別の1つの吸引孔との間の非吸引エリアにおいて前記キャリアウエブと前記カバーウエブとを接合するための接合装置とを更に備える。 - 請求項6の配置する装置において、前記接合装置が前記両ウエブを互いに溶着する溶着装置である。
- 請求項7の配置する装置において、前記搬送面の前記非吸引エリアに相当する部位において開口する第2エアの吐出孔を包含し、前記第1エアの吸引を行っている状態で、前記吐出孔から前記キャリアウエブの前記第2面に向って前記第2エアを吐出することで、前記第2面から前記キャリアウエブを通過した前記第2エアにより前記非吸引エリアに相当する部位において前記複数の粒状体のうちの残りの一部を飛散させる吐出装置を更に備える。
