- the cross-sectional area of the case 50 which is often made of expensive materials, can be reduced, and the material cost can be reduced. For this reason, the cost is extremely superior to the tonneau cover device of the related art.
- a buffer layer 90 may be provided on at least one of the locking hook 30 and the case 50 at a portion where the locking hook 30 and the case 50 abut. Thereby, generation
- production of the noise by vibration can be suppressed effectively.
- the buffer layer 90 may be formed, for example, by attaching a flexible skin material such as a non-woven fabric, or by molding a part of the contact portion between the locking hook 30 and the case 50 with a soft resin. it can.
- a concave groove 91 into which the lower edge portion 52 of the case 50 is fitted may be provided on the hook lower surface 30 a of the locking hook 30.
- an engaging portion formed in a claw shape that protrudes upward from the upper surface portion 51 a of the protruding portion 34 of the protruding portion 34 of the locking hook 30, that is, upward. 93 may be provided.
- the hooking of the engaging board 93 and the upper edge part 51 and the increase in friction can suppress the rotation of the holding board 20 in the drooping direction more effectively.
- the engaging portion 93 is caught by the upper edge portion 51 when the grip board 20 jumps up and returns during traveling of the vehicle, it is possible to prevent the engaging hook 30 from jumping out from the case 50.
- the locking hook 30 is configured with a portion where the convex portion 34 extends forward and a portion which protrudes and extends upward from the portion where the convex portion 34 is extended and formed.
- An extended portion (projecting portion) 94 may be provided.
- the upper edge portion 51 can be moved forward of the vehicle by the amount of the extension portion 94, so that the cross-sectional area of the case 50, which is an expensive member in the tonneau cover device, can be reduced. Is advantageous.
- a magnetic body 95 may be provided on both sides of the locking hook 30 and the case 50 at a portion where the locking hook 30 and the case 50 abut.
- the locking hook 30 and the case 50 are attracted and in close contact with each other, so that rattling due to vibration can be prevented and the holding board 20 can be held horizontally more stably.
- the magnetic body 95 may be affixed to a portion where the locking hook 30 and the case 50 are in contact with each other.
- the case 50 made of aluminum if the case 50 is made magnetic by using an alumite process that is usually performed for the purpose of scratch resistance, it is advantageous in terms of cost and appearance by reducing the number of parts.
- the locking hook 30 can be configured by combining a plurality of the above-described embodiments.
- the lower edge portion 52 of the case 50 may be extended in the vehicle front-rear direction to form the support portion 92. Thereby, the contact area of the lower edge part 52 and the lower surface 30a of the latching hook 30 increases, and the holding board 20 can be held horizontally more stably.
- the protrusion 34 protruding from the hook front surface 30b of the locking hook 30 is provided, but it may be protruded upward from the hook upper piece 32.
- the size of the locking hook 30 is adjusted so that the convex portion and the upper edge portion 51 of the case 50 come into contact with each other.
- the hook upper piece of the hook upper piece 32 in front of the position where the convex portion is provided comes into contact with the case 50 when the holding board 20 is about to rotate, thereby preventing the holding board 20 from rotating. .
- the locking hook 30 is connected to the pre-clamping piece 35 and the clamping lower piece 33 in order from the clamping upper piece 32.
- the locking hook 30 is formed so that the clamping upper piece 32 and the clamping lower piece 33 are connected to each other on the surface (side surface) that does not face the opening 60.
