Abstract

본 발명은 위암의 예후를 예측하기 위한 마커, 이의 발현수준을 측정하는 제제를 포함하는 위암의 예후 예측용 조성물 및 키트, 및 상기 마커를 이용하여 위암의 예후를 예측하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의하면, 위암의 예후를 신속하고 정확하게 예측하고, 예측된 예후에 따른 적절한 치료방향을 결정할 수 있어 위암으로 인한 사망률의 감소에 크게 기여할 수 있는 이점이 있다. 특히, 본 발명에 의하여 병기 Ib/II기 위암 환자 중 음성적 예후를 가질 것이라고 예측된 환자에 대하여 병기 III기 위암 환자를 대상으로 시술되는 치료방법을 사용함으로써 생존율 증가에 크게 기여할 수 있을 것이다.
