Abstract
Description
従来のバックルは、プラグと、このプラグが差込係合されるソケットとを備えている。プラグは、プラグ本体と、このプラグ本体の両側に互いに平行に形成された一対の脚部とを備える。各脚部の先端部分には、操作部および係合部がそれぞれ形成されている。ソケットは、ソケット本体と、このソケット本体に形成されプラグが差し込まれる差込孔とを備える。差込孔には、脚部と当接して脚部を互いに内側へ弾性変位させる当接部が形成されているとともに、脚部の係合部が係合する被係合部および脚部の操作部を露出する開口部がそれぞれ形成されている。
プラグをソケットから外すには、ソケットの開口部から露出したプラグの操作部を互いに内側へ押圧して、脚部を内側へ弾性変形させる。すると、各脚部の係合部がソケットに形成された被係合部から外れた状態になるため、この状態において、プラグをソケットから引き抜く。これにより、プラグをソケットから外すことができる。
このような課題を防止するため、特許文献2,3に記載のバックルでは、プラグの一対の脚部が外側へ開くように変形されることを規制する構造が取られている。
すなわち、特許文献2では、プラグの一対の脚部(アーム部材)の間に中央部材をこれらと平行に突設し、この中央部材と各アーム部材との間を湾曲する保持ストラップ(屈曲部)で連結した構造が提案されている。また、特許文献3では、プラグの一対の脚部間を湾曲する保持ストラップ(連結帯)で連結した構造が提案されている。これら特許文献2,3に記載の構造では、各脚部が外側へ開かれると、保持ストラップが伸び、各アーム部材がそれ以上外側へ開くのを規制するため、脚部の破損を防止することができる。
つまり、プラグをソケットに挿入する際、あるいは、プラグをソケットから外す際に、アーム部材を内側へ弾性変形させる必要があるが、従来のバックルでは、アーム部材の内側への弾性変形時に保持ストラップをより湾曲する状態に弾性変形する必要があり、操作が重くなるという課題があった。
この発明によれば、雄側基部に直接設けることで、不要な構成がなく、構造の簡略化が得られる。
この発明によれば、一対の脚部間に突出して設けたガイド部を、案内部に係合させて雄部材の差し込みを案内する構成でも、脚部が相対向する方向とは反対側に変形される外力が脚部に作用しても脚部の変形による損傷を防止する。そして、雄部材の差し込みを案内する構造を利用して変形規制部を設けるので、構造の共有化により、構造が簡略化して製造性の向上が図れる。
この発明によれば、差込孔を介して雌部材に雄部材を抜き差しする際、脚部の基端側に設けた移動規制部、および、移動規制部が係脱する変形規制部が他の部位に干渉し難い。このため、移動規制部および変形規制部が他の部位に当接して損傷することが防止される。
この発明によれば、移動規制部の当接面を、変形規制部の規制面に対向する簡単な構造で、脚部の相対向する方向と反対側に変形する際に、当接面と規制面とが当接して脚部の変形を防止する。このため、構造が簡単なことから、製造性の向上が図れる。

この発明によれば、一対の脚部を所定位置まで差込孔に挿入して脚部が弾性復帰する際に、脚部の凹溝状の係合部に凸状の被係合部が係合する。従って、雄部材と雌部材とを係合あるいは取り外す際に、係合部と被係合部とが係脱する広く利用されているいわゆるサイドリリース方式のサイド係合タイプに適用できる。さらに、係合部が設けられた位置が、脚部における相対向する側と反対側の外面であり、脚部の損傷を防止するための移動規制部が設けられる位置が、脚部における相対向する側に設けられる。このため、係合部と移動規制部とが干渉せず、広く利用されているいわゆるサイドリリース方式のサイド係合タイプでも、容易に適用できる。
この発明によれば、一対の脚部を所定位置まで差込孔に差し込んで脚部が復元する際に、脚部の凸状の係合部に凹溝状の被係合部が係合する。従って、雄部材と雌部材とを係合あるいは取り外す際に、係合部と被係合部とが係脱する広く利用されているいわゆるサイドリリース方式の厚み方向係合タイプに適用できる。さらに、係合部が設けられた位置が、脚部の先端部であり、脚部の損傷を防止するための移動規制部が設けられる位置が、係合部から離間する位置に設けられる。このため、係合部と移動規制部とが干渉せず、広く利用されているいわゆるサイドリリース方式の厚み方向係合タイプでも、容易に適用できる。
以下、本発明の第1実施形態を図面を参照して説明する。

第1実施形態のバックル1は、ベルトやテープ、紐などの図示しない緊締用の紐状部材の両端、あるいは、2本の紐状部材同士を連結、分離するために用いられる。
バックル1は、いわゆるサイドリリース方式でバックル1の厚さ方向(図3~図5の奥行き方向)で係合するタイプである。このバックル1は、合成樹脂によって一体成形された雄部材Aと、同様に合成樹脂によって一体成形され、雄部材Aが差込係合される雌部材Bとを備えている。
なお、雄部材Aおよび雌部材Bの材料については、合成樹脂に限らず、金属などの他の材料でもよい。さらには、部分的に合成樹脂や金属を用いるなど、異なる材料を用いて構成したものでもよい。
雄側基部10には、内部中央部に紐状部材の端部が挿入係止される紐取付部としての紐取付孔11が形成されている。紐取付孔11の中間には連結杆12が設けられ、この連結杆12によって紐取付孔11が2つの紐取付孔11A,11Bに分割されている。これにより、紐状部材の長さ調節ができる構造になっている。
また、雄側基部10には、幅方向すなわち雄部材Aの差込方向に直交する方向(図3~図5における左右方向)の両側から互いに平行に、一対の脚部20が突出形成されている。さらに、雄側基部10には、一対の脚部20の間にこれらと平行に1本のガイド部30が突設されている。
脚部20の先端部には、脚部20の弾性変形する方向である幅方向に沿った凹溝状の係合凹部23Aが、バックル1の厚さ方向、すなわち雄部材10の差込方向と直交し、かつ脚部が弾性変形される方向と直交する方向でそれぞれ設けられ、脚操作部22の厚さ寸法より肉薄の係合片部23が形成されている。
さらに、脚部20における係合片部23より先端には、バックル1の厚さ方向で膨出し、係合片部23における厚さ寸法より肉厚に形成された係合部24が設けられている。係合部24には、幅方向の外側に臨む面に、脚部20の突出する方向に従って内側に傾斜する係合ガイド面24Aが設けられている。さらに、係合部24には、係合凹部23Aに臨み幅方向に平行な係合面24Bが設けられている。
移動規制部25は、先端部が雄側基部10側に向けて脚操作部22の内側面から突出形成された枝部25Aと、この枝部25Aの先端が脚部20の相対向する方向に鈎状に折れ曲がって形成された規制鈎部25Bとを備え、鈎状に形成されている。規制鈎部25Bにおける内側の面、すなわち脚部20の先端側に臨む面が、当接面25Cとなる。
移動規制部25の先端とは逆側の基端部は、脚部20が突出する長さ寸法の半分から雄側基部10側までの基端側、すなわち脚部20の長手方向における中央から基端側に位置して設けられている。この移動規制部25は、脚部20が内側に弾性変形されて雌部材Bに係合する際、雄側基部10には接触しない形状に形成されている。すなわち、雌部材Bに係合する前に移動規制部25が雄側基部10に当接すると、脚部20のさらなる内側への弾性変形が規制されて、係合できなくなるおそれがあるためである。
ガイド部30には、脚部20に対向する側面に、長手方向に沿ったリブ状に設けられた補強リブ31が、先端から雄側基部10の近傍に亘って設けられている。
ガイド部30には、補強リブ31における雄側基部10側に連続して、脚部20に向けて鍔状に突出する変形規制部32が設けられている。変形規制部32は、先端が移動規制部25における枝部25Aと規制鈎部25Bとの間に向けて突出する状態に設けられている。すなわち、脚部20の移動規制部25は、脚部20と、雄側基部10と、ガイド部30と、変形規制部32とで囲まれ、脚部20の弾性変形のための空間20A内に規制鈎部25Bが位置するように設けられている。
そして、変形規制部32は、移動規制部25の当接面25Cに対向し、脚部20が外力により外側へ変形する際に移動規制部25に当接する規制面32Aを有している。
雌部材本体40には、紐状部材の端部が挿入係止される紐取付孔41が形成されている。
雌部材本体40には、図5および図6に示すように、雄部材Aとの接合面42から紐取付孔41に貫通して、雄部材Aの脚部20およびガイド部30が差し込まれる差込孔43が形成されている。そして、雌部材本体40には差込孔43に連続し雄部材Aの一対の脚部20を収容可能な収容空間43Aが設けられ、雌部材本体40は扁平筒形状に形成されている。
雌部材本体40の幅方向の両側壁には、雌部材本体40の中央に従って次第に大きく開口する円弧凹状に切り欠かれ、雄部材Aの脚操作部22を外表面に露出させる開口部44が形成されている。
これら係止部45は、差込孔43側から奥部側に従って差込孔43の中央に向けて傾斜し、差し込まれた脚部20の係合部24の係合ガイド面24Aが当接する係合案内面45Aをそれぞれ有している。また、係止部45は、差込孔43の奥壁面に略平行で、係合部24における係合凹部23Aに臨む係合面24Bが当接し脚部20の係合部24を係合する抜止面45Bをそれぞれ有している。すなわち、係止部45の抜止面45Bと、雌部材本体40の内側端面40Aとの間に、脚部20の係合部24が内側から係脱可能に幅方向に沿って少なくとも内側に開口する凹溝状の被係合部46が形成される。
次に、上述した第1実施形態のバックル1の差込係合の操作を説明する。
雄部材Aを雌部材Bに係合させるには、雄部材Aの脚部20を雌部材Bの差込孔43に差し込む。この差し込みの際、雌部材Bのガイド溝47に雄部材Aのガイド部30が嵌り合い、差し込み操作が案内される。
そして、この差し込む操作により、脚部20の先端に形成された係合部24の係合ガイド面24Aが、雌部材Bの係止部45の係合案内面45Aに当接し、脚部20が差込方向に対して略直交する方向の内側へ弾性変形されながら差し込まれていく。
この脚部20の内側への弾性変形は、幅方向で肉薄な部分の脚基部21が基端を支点として内側へ屈曲するように弾性変形し、脚操作部22が内側に倒れ込む状態となる。そして、脚部20の弾性変形により、移動規制部25は先端側が変形規制部32から離れ雄側基部10に近付く状態となる。なお、移動規制部25は、雄側基部10には当接しない形状となっている。
そして、脚部20がさらに差し込まれると、係合部24が係止部45を乗り越え、脚部20の弾性変形に対する復元力により、脚部20は、元の状態、すなわち外側へ弾性復帰する。この脚部20の弾性復帰により、係合凹部23Aに係止部45が入り込んで係合部24が被係合部46に係合される。
このように、雄部材Aと雌部材Bとの係合時には、一対の脚部20を内側に弾性変形させるのみの操作力でよい。すなわち、他の部位を弾性変形させる必要が無く、最小限の操作力で係合できる。
次に、上述した第1実施形態のバックル1の取り外し操作を説明する。
雄部材Aと雌部材Bとの係合を解除して取り外すには、雌部材Bの開口部44から外側に突出するように臨む一対の脚部20を、幅方向で摘むように内側に弾性変形させる。
そして、脚部20の係合部24が被係合部46から外れて係止部45を乗り越えた状態で、雄部材Aを雌部材Bの差込孔43から引き抜くように操作することで、雄部材Aと雌部材Bとが外れる。なお、係合部24が被係合部46から外れる際にも、移動規制部25は雄側基部10に当接しない。
このように、雄部材Aと雌部材Bとを取り外す際にも、脚部20を内側に弾性変形させるのみの操作力でよく、最小限の操作力で取り外しできる。
次に、上述した第1実施形態のバックル1の脚部20に、外方に向けた外力が作用した場合の状況を説明する。
例えば、脚部20に紐などが引っ掛かり、脚部20の先端側がバックル1の幅方向における外側へ開くように外力が作用すると、脚部20は、外側へ弾性変形される。この弾性変形は、幅方向で肉薄な部分の脚基部21が基端を支点として外側へ屈曲するように弾性変形する。そして、脚部20の弾性変形により、移動規制部25は先端側が変形規制部32に近付き、当接する。
このため、さらに脚部20を外側に変形させる外力が作用しても、移動規制部25が変形規制部32に当接しているので、脚部20は外側に変形させない。したがって、脚部20を外側に変形させる外力が作用しても、脚部20が折損や塑性変形する損傷が生じない。
上述したように、上記第1実施形態によれば、脚部20が外側に変形される外力が作用しても、脚部20に内側に突出形成した移動規制部25が、雌部材Bの変形規制部32に当接してさらなる変形が防止されるので、脚部20の損傷を防止できる。そして、雄部材Aを雌部材Bに係合する際には、移動規制部25と変形規制部32とは連結せず、単に脚部20を内側に弾性変形させる操作力のみでよく、最小限の操作力で、雄部材Aと雌部材Bとの差込係合や取り外しができる。
したがって、雄部材Aと雌部材Bとの係合操作時あるいは取り外し操作時の優れた操作性と、脚部20の損傷防止との双方を提供できる。
このため、雄部材Aの差し込みを案内する構造を利用して変形規制部32を設けるので、ガイド部30と変形規制部32との構造の共有化が図れ、構造が簡略化し、製造性の向上が図れる。
このため、移動規制部25および変形規制部32が他の部位に当接して損傷することが防止される。さらに、雄部材Aと雌部材Bとの差込係合や取り外し時に脚部20を弾性変形する際、移動規制部25が他の部位に当接して脚部20が弾性変形できなくなる不都合も、移動規制部25を脚部20の基端側に設ける簡単な構造で防止できる。
特に、上記第1実施形態では、移動規制部25は、脚部20が内側に弾性変形されて雌部材Bに係合する際、雄側基部10には接触しない形状に形成している。具体的には、雄部材Aの空間20A内に移動規制部25の規制鈎部25Bが他に当接することなく位置する形状に形成している。このため、差込係合や取り外し時の脚部20の内側への弾性変形が規制されることがなく、脚部20を最小限の操作力で弾性変形でき、操作性を向上できる。
具体的には、移動規制部25を当接面25Cが脚部20の先端側に臨む鈎状に形成する。そして、脚部20が外側へ変形される際に移動規制部25の当接面25Cが移動する先に位置して、変形規制部32の規制面32Aが対向する位置関係で形成されている。
このため、簡単な構造で、製造性の向上が容易に図れる。
すなわち、脚部20の損傷を防止するための移動規制部25が、脚部20の先端部に設けた係合部24から離間する。このため、係合部24と移動規制部25とが干渉せず、広く利用されているいわゆるサイドリリース方式の厚み方向係合タイプのバックル1でも、操作性に優れ脚部20の損傷を防止できる構造が容易に適用できる。
なお、本発明は、上記実施形態で説明した構造のバックルに限定されるものでなく、次のような変形例も含む。
[第2実施形態]
上記第1実施形態では、いわゆるサイドリリース方式で厚み方向で係合するタイプのバックル1に適用したが、例えば図7ないし図9に示す第2実施形態のような、サイド係合タイプのバックル1にも適用できる。なお、上述した図1ないし図6に示す第1実施形態と同等または類似する構成については、同じ符号を付して、説明を省略または簡略化する。
具体的には、図7,8に示す第2実施形態では、脚基部21と脚操作部22との間に位置して、脚部20の厚さ方向の一面側から外方に向けて開口する係合部としての係合窪部51が、脚部20の厚さ方向の両面にそれぞれ設けられている。
一方、雌部材Bには、開口部44の開口縁に、係合窪部51に係脱可能に係合する被係合部としての係止凸部52が設けられている。
そして、雄部材Aの脚部20を雌部材Bの差込孔43に挿入すると、脚部20の先端が雌部材Bの係止凸部52に当接して内側に弾性変形される。そして、脚部20の係合窪部51が雌部材Bの係止凸部52に位置した際に、脚部20が弾性復帰して係合窪部51に係止凸部52が係合し、雄部材Aと雌部材Bとが連結される。
この図7,8に示す第2実施形態でも同様に、図9に示すように、脚部20が外側に変形されても、脚部20の移動規制部25がガイド部30の変形規制部32に当接し、脚部20の損傷を防止できる。
[第3実施形態]
例えば、図7ないし図9に示す第2実施形態では、ガイド部の基端側に移動規制部25を設けて説明したが、図10に示す第3実施形態のように、ガイド部30の先端側に移動規制部25を設ける構成としてもよい。また、移動規制部25および変形規制部32の形状も、図10に示すように、互いに同様な鈎状に形成して接離する構成としてもよい。
さらに、移動規制部25および変形規制部32の形状としては、鈎状に限らず、図11に示す第4実施形態のように、突起状に形成しても良い。
[第5実施形態]
また、図7ないし図9に示す第2実施形態では、変形規制部32を突出形成したが、図12,13に示す第5実施形態のように、脚部20が外方へ変形された際に移動規制部25が当接する規制面32Aを有していれば、凹状に形成した形状でも同様な効果が得られる。
[第6実施形態]
さらに、図7ないし図9に示す第2実施形態では、移動規制部25として剛性を有した構成で説明したが、例えば図14に示す第6実施形態のように、可撓性を有する構成を利用してもよい。具体的には、移動規制部25として、紐状部材55を脚部20から一体的に延設し、先端側をガイド部30の図示しない貫通孔に貫通し、紐状部材55の先端に貫通孔を貫通できない当接面25Cを有した径大部56を設ける。なお、側面が規制面32Aとなるガイド部30が変形規制部32となる。
この図7ないし図9に示す第2実施形態では、脚部20とガイド部30との距離に応じて当接面25Cが規制面32Aに当接する。このため、脚部20が幅方向のみならず厚さ方向や斜め方向に変形される場合でも、当接面25Cが規制面32Aに当接して脚部20の損傷を防止できる。
そして、図7ないし図9に示す第2実施形態では、ガイド部30に変形規制部32を設けて説明したが、例えば図15に示す第7実施形態のように、ガイド部30を設けず、雄側基部10から変形規制部32を直接設けてもよい。
[第8実施形態]
また、図7ないし図9に示す第2実施形態では、変形規制部32を設けて説明したが、例えば図16に示す第8実施形態のように、脚部20が外方に変形された場合、他方の脚部20の移動規制部25と互いに当接して損傷を防止する構成としてもよい。
また、上記実施形態において、ガイド部30に案内部としての凹溝状のガイド溝47を係合させる構成を例示したが、例えばガイド部30に凹溝部を設け、雌部材Bの案内部としてガイド部30の凹溝が係合可能にリブを設けるなど、差込をガイドできるいずれの構造を適用できる。なお、一対の脚部20を備えた構成では、脚部20間に設ける構成とすることが、製造のしやすさなどの点で好ましい。
その他、本発明の実施における具体的な構造および形状などは、本発明の目的を達成できる範囲で他の構造などとしてもよい。

ことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項7までのいずれか一項に記載のバックル。 - 前記係合部(24)は、前記脚部(20)の先端部に該脚部(20)の相対向する方向に対して直交し、かつ前記脚部(20)が弾性変形される方向と直交する方向にそれぞれ凸状に膨出して設けられ、
前記被係合部(46)は、前記一対の脚部(20)が前記差込孔(43)に所定位置まで差し込まれて弾性変形に対して相対向する方向と反対側に弾性復帰する方向に沿った凹溝状に設けられた
