Definitions
- the present invention relates to a refrigerant transport hose and a manufacturing method thereof, and more particularly to a refrigerant transport hose used for a vehicle such as an automobile and a manufacturing method thereof.
- refrigerant transport hoses air conditioner hoses
- a resin having high crystallinity such as a polyamide resin is used for the refrigerant transport hose material.
- this polyamide resin is excellent in barrier properties (refrigerant permeation resistance), it has a drawback of being easily broken when the hose is bent because of its poor flexibility. Therefore, as a refrigerant transport hose material, a polyamide resin is not used alone, and a material softer than a polyamide resin such as a modified polyolefin is blended with a polyamide resin (see Patent Document 1). ).
- the refrigerant transport hose described in Patent Document 1 can impart flexibility to the hose by blending the modified polyolefin, compared to the polyamide resin alone, but the hose breaks when bent (vibration). There remains a problem that the problem cannot be solved sufficiently.
- the present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and can provide both barrier properties (refrigerant permeation resistance) and flexibility, and can solve the problem of hose breakage during bending, refrigerant transportation.
- the purpose is to provide a hose and its manufacturing method.
- the present invention provides a refrigerant transport hose in which a butyl rubber layer is formed on the outer periphery of a tubular resin layer in contact with a refrigerant, and further an ethylene-propylene rubber layer is formed on the outer periphery thereof.
- the resin layer is made of a resin layer material mainly composed of a blend of a polyamide resin and a modified polyolefin elastomer, and a skin layer is formed only on the inner peripheral surface thereof.
- the tensile elastic modulus (B) of the resin layer excluding the skin layer, the tensile elastic modulus (C) of the butyl rubber layer, and the tensile elastic modulus (D) of the ethylene-propylene rubber layer are as follows: Let the refrigerant transport hose comprised so that the relationship of Formula ((alpha)) may be satisfy
- the present invention is a method for producing the above refrigerant transport hose, in a tubular resin layer obtained by an extrusion process of a resin layer material mainly comprising a blend of a polyamide resin and a modified polyolefin elastomer.
- a resin layer material mainly comprising a blend of a polyamide resin and a modified polyolefin elastomer.
- a butyl rubber layer is formed on the outer periphery, and further on the outer periphery.
- the manufacturing method of the refrigerant transport hose for forming the ethylene-propylene rubber layer is a second gist.
- the present inventors have conducted intensive research in order to obtain a refrigerant transport hose that can achieve both barrier properties (refrigerant permeability) and flexibility, and can solve the problem of hose cracking when bent. Piled up.
- a resin layer material composed mainly of a blend of polyamide resin and modified polyolefin elastomer
- a tubular resin layer 1 made of the resin layer material (see FIG. 1).
- FIG. 2 enlarged view of portion A in FIG. 1
- an inner skin layer 2 and an outer skin layer 3 made of polyamide resin 4 and having a thickness of about 3 to 5 ⁇ m are formed on the inner peripheral surface and the outer peripheral surface of FIG.
- the polyamide resin 4 has a lower melt viscosity than that of the modified polyolefin elastomer 5 and the polyamide resin 4 having a lower melt viscosity is more easily melted than the modified polyolefin elastomer 5, and is therefore composed of the polyamide resin 4. It seems that the skin layers 2 and 3 are formed.
- the polyamide resin is a resin having high crystallinity and is inferior in flexibility, so that the skin layers 2 and 3 made of the polyamide resin 4 are also inferior in flexibility.
- the inner skin layer 2 on the inner peripheral surface side of the tubular resin layer 1 can easily follow the bending of the hose, and there is no problem of resin cracking on the inner surface of the hose.
- the skin layer 3 did not easily follow the bending (vibration) of the hose, and stress was concentrated locally when the hose was bent. Therefore, it was found that the outer skin layer 3 was the starting point and the resin layer 1 was cracked. Therefore, the inventors of the present invention have further studied to solve this problem. As a result, the outer skin layer 3 is subjected to polishing treatment, and the outer skin layer 3 is completely removed from the outer peripheral surface of the resin layer 1 (see FIG.
- a butyl rubber layer having a smaller tensile elastic modulus than that of the resin layer 1 is formed on the outer peripheral surface (removed surface) 1a, and an ethylene-propylene rubber layer having a lower tensile elastic modulus than that of the butyl rubber layer on the outer periphery.
- the skin layer 2 formed on the inner peripheral surface of the resin layer 1 is formed of a polyamide resin 4, and the resin layer 1 on the outer peripheral surface of the skin layer 2 is blended with the polyamide resin 4 and a modified polyolefin-based elastomer 5. Since it is made of a material, the tensile elastic modulus of the skin layer 2 is larger than the tensile elastic modulus of the resin layer 1.
- the inner skin layer 2 serving as the innermost layer, the outer resin layer 1, the butyl rubber layer, and the ethylene-propylene rubber layer are configured so that the tensile elastic modulus (hardness) of each layer sequentially decreases, the hose It has been found that the problem of cracking can be eliminated, and the present invention has been achieved.
- the refrigerant transport hose of the present invention removes the outer skin layer that cannot follow the hose deformation when the hose is bent from the surface of the resin layer.
- the tensile elastic modulus (hardness) of each layer is sequentially decreased from the inner skin layer as the innermost layer to the outer resin layer, butyl rubber layer, and ethylene-propylene rubber layer. Therefore, the present invention can alleviate the concentration of stress when the hose is bent, and can follow the deformation of the hose, thereby eliminating the problem of hose cracking.
- the tubular resin layer is made of a resin layer material mainly composed of a blend of a polyamide resin having excellent barrier properties (refrigerant permeability) and a flexible modified polyolefin elastomer. (Refrigerant permeation resistance) and flexibility can both be achieved.
- the modification of the modified polyolefin elastomer is at least one of maleic anhydride modification and epoxy modification, the flexibility of the hose is improved.
- a butyl rubber layer is formed on the outer periphery thereof, and an ethylene-propylene rubber layer is further formed on the outer periphery thereof.
- the outer peripheral surface (removed surface) 1 a of the resin layer 1 is formed to be uneven as a result of polishing treatment, so that the resin layer 1 and the butyl rubber layer The adhesiveness of the resin is improved.

Description
(A)>(B)>(C)>(D) …(α)
(A)>(B)>(C)>(D) …(α)
