Abstract

본 발명은 와이어 형태의 집전체 및 그 집전체의 표면을 감싸며 코팅된 다공성 음극 활물질층을 구비하는 리튬 이차전지용 음극 및 이를 포함하는 리튬 이차전지에 관한 것이다. 이러한 음극은 3차원적인 기공구조를 갖는 활물질층을 구비하고 있으므로, 높은 표면적을 가지므로 리튬 이온의 이동성이 향상되어 전지 성능이 우수하다. 또한, 본 발명의 음극은 다공성의 기공구조로 인하여 충방전시의 부피팽창과 같은 전지 내부의 스트레스 및 압력에 대한 완충작용이 가능하여 전지의 변형을 방지하고 안정성의 확보가 가능하다. 이러한 특성으로 인하여 본 발명의 음극은 케이블형 이차전지에 적합하다.
