Abstract
Description
(a)揮発性油分:40~95質量%
(b)高重合直鎖状ブロック型のポリオキシエチレン・ポリオキシプロピレン・ブチレン・ジメチルポリシロキサン共重合体:0.1~20質量%
(c)エタノール:0.1~30質量%
(Rは直鎖又は分枝のアルキル基、a及びbは0~50の整数、mは5~300の整数、nは1~40の整数を表す)
(2)本発明の毛髪化粧料(ヘアオイル)は、塗布直後は毛髪がしっとりしていても経時で、ぱさついてしまうというヘアオイルの欠点が改善される。すなわち、毛髪化粧料の溶媒が揮発性油分だけの場合であると、塗布後にドライヤーを用いない使用法の場合は、塗布直後は毛髪はしっとりしているのに、経時でぱさつくといった問題が生じることがある。塗布直後のしっとりさは、毛髪に残存する油分だけではなく、まだ揮発しきれていない揮発性油分の使用感が加わっている。しかしながら、エタノールを用いることで、揮発性油分の毛髪からの揮発が早くなるので残存し難くなり、塗布直後の使用感もほぼ残存油分(揮発性油分やエタノール以外の残存油分)の使用感だけになり、経時で、使用感は変化せず、ぱさつくという上記の問題が改善されるのである。
(3)本発明に用いる溶媒が揮発性油分だけの場合は、(b)成分の親水性の高い部分が経時で沈殿することがあるが、エタノールを併用することにより、沈殿が生じることがなく、優れた経時安定性を有する。
(4)本発明は、成分(b)のジメチコンPEGブロックポリマーの配合により、毛髪へのなじみや指どおりの使用感が顕著に向上する。
本発明はヘアオイルを意図する毛髪化粧料であり、その主成分は揮発性油分である。
本発明に用いる揮発性油分としては、例えば、比較的低分子量の炭化水素油、比較的低分子量の直鎖状シリコーン、比較的低分子量の環状シリコーンが挙げられ、特に、軽質流動性イソパラフィン、イソドデカン、イソヘキサデカン、揮発性ジメチルポリシロキサン、または環状ポリシロキサンが好ましい。具体的には、オクタメチルシクロテトラシロキサン、デカメチルシクロペンタシロキサン、ドデカメチルシクロヘキサシロキサン、ヘキサデカメチルシクロヘプタシロキサンが挙げられる。特に好ましくは、軽質流動性イソパラフィン、イソドデカン、イソヘキサデカンである。
本発明において、揮発性油分の配合量は、毛髪化粧料全量に対して、40~95質量%が好ましく、さらに好ましくは、50~90質量%、最も好ましくは60~85質量%である。揮発性成分を多量に配合することにより、のびがよくなるために毛髪へ均一に塗布することが可能となり、優れたヘアオイルが得られる。
しかしながら、本発明においては、塗布直後は毛髪がしっとりしていても経時で、ぱさついてしまうというヘアオイルの欠点が改善されている。すなわち、毛髪化粧料の溶媒が揮発性油分だけを上記の如く多量に配合する場合であると、塗布後にドライヤーを用いない使用法の場合は、塗布直後は毛髪はしっとりしているのに、経時でぱさつくといった問題が生じることがある。塗布直後のしっとりさは、毛髪に残存する油分だけではなく、まだ揮発しきれていない揮発性油分の使用感が加わっている。しかしながら、エタノールを用いることで、揮発性油分の毛髪からの揮発が早くなるので残存し難くなり、塗布直後の使用感もほぼ残存油分(揮発性油分やエタノール以外の残存油分)の使用感だけになり、経時で、その使用感は変化せず、ぱさついてしまう問題点が改善される。
本発明に用いる高重合直鎖状ブロック型のポリオキシエチレン・ポリオキシプロピレン・ブチレン・ジメチルポリシロキサン共重合体とは、ポリオキシアルキレン基が直鎖状にブロック共重合したポリエーテル変性シリコーンであることを意味する。下記式1で示されるブロック共重合型のポリエーテル変性シリコーンが好ましい。本発明において、当該共重合体の毛髪化粧料に対する役割は、毛髪へのなじみや指どおりの使用感を良好に保つことである。
(Rは直鎖又は分枝のアルキル基、a及びbは0~50の整数(但し、a+bは0を除く)、mは5~300の整数、nは1~40の整数を表す)
なお、式中のa、b、m、nは、好ましくは、aは5~10、bは5~10、mは200~300、nは30~40である。
式(1)のポリエーテル変性シリコーンは、化合物名としては、ポリオキシエチレン・ポリオキシプロピレン・ブチレン・ジメチルポリシロキサン共重合体、ポリオキシエチレン・ブチレン・ジメチルポリシロキサン共重合体、ポリシリコーン-13等と称される。
本発明においては市販品を利用できる。好ましい市販品としては、ブロック共重合型ポリ(オキシエチレン・オキシプロピレン)・アルキレン・メチルポリシロキサン共重合体、FZ-2250、FZ-2233(東レ・ダウコーニング株式会社)等が挙げられる。
ポリオキシエチレン・ポリオキシプロピレン・ブチレン・ジメチルポリシロキサン共重合体の配合量は、毛髪化粧料全量に対して、0.1~20質量%が好ましく、さらに好ましくは、0.5~10質量%、最も好ましくは1~2質量%である。配合量が少なすぎると毛髪へのなじみや指どおりを向上させる効果を発揮せず、また、多すぎるとべたつく。
なお、市販品のFZ-2250は(東レ・ダウコーニング株式会社)、原体35質量%とイソパラフィン65質量%の混合物であり、原体の実質純分として上述の配合量が必要である。
本発明においては、上記必須成分(a)及び(b)と組み合わせて、低級アルコールとして一定量のエタノールを配合することを最大の特徴とする。
すなわち、成分(a)揮発性油分よりもさらに揮発性の高いエタノールを用いることで、溶媒が早く揮発するので、濡れた髪でも乾いた髪でもなじみが早くなり、ヘアオイルの欠点であった塗布直後の油っぽさが極端に改善される。
また、塗布直後は毛髪がしっとりしていても経時で、ぱさついてしまうというヘアオイルの欠点が改善される。すなわち、毛髪化粧料の溶媒が揮発性油分だけの場合であると、塗布後にドライヤーを用いない使用法の場合は、塗布直後は毛髪はしっとりしているのに、経時でぱさつくといった問題が生じることがある。塗布直後のしっとりさは、毛髪に残存する油分だけではなく、まだ揮発しきれていない揮発性油分の使用感が加わっている。しかしながら、エタノールを用いることで、揮発性油分の毛髪からの揮発が早くなるので残存し難くなり、塗布直後の使用感もほぼ残存油分(揮発性油分やエタノール以外の残存油分)の使用感だけになり、経時で、使用感は変化せず、ぱさつくという上記の問題が改善されるのである。
そして、本発明に用いる溶媒が揮発性油分だけの場合は、(b)成分の「ジメチコンPEGブロックポリマー」の親水性の高い部分が経時で沈殿することがある。しかしながらエタノールを併用することにより、沈殿が生じることがなく、優れた経時安定性を有するヘアオイルが得られるのである。
エタノールの配合量は、毛髪化粧料全量に対して、0.1~30質量%が好ましく、さらに好ましくは、0.5~20質量%、最も好ましくは1~15質量%である。配合量が少なすぎると上述した効果が十分に発揮されず、また、多すぎると低温安定性が悪化する。
本発明においては特定のシリコーンゴムを配合することも好ましい。本発明に用いるシリコーンゴムとしては、高分子量ポリシロキサン、高重合度ジメチコノール、アミノ変性高分子量シリコーン及びアンモニウム変性高分子量シリコーンが好ましく、枝毛修復効果やさらさら感、なめらかさに優れた効果を発揮する。
高重合度ジメチコノールの代表的な市販品として、例えば、重合度rが約7000のXF49-C2070、同様に重合度rが約7000のX65-C2070(ジーイー東芝シリコーン株式会社製)等が挙げられる。
上記シリコーンゴムの配合量は、毛髪化粧料全量に対して、0.1~20質量%が好ましく、さらに好ましくは、0.3~20質量%、最も好ましくは0.5~15質量%である。
本発明においてはさらに植物油及び/又はエステル結合を1つ以上含む極性油を配合しても良い。その理由は、本発明において、しっとりさを付与するためである。
植物油は特に限定されないが、例えば、アボカド油、ツバキ油、マカデミアナッツ油、トウモロコシ油、オリーブ油、ナタネ油、ゴマ油、パーシック油、小麦胚芽油、サザンカ油、ヒマシ油、アマニ油、サフラワー油、綿実油、エノ油、大豆油、落花生油、茶実油、油茶油、カヤ油、コメヌカ油、シナギリ油、日本キリ油、ホホバ油、胚芽油等を使用することが可能である。
また、エステル結合を1つ以上含む極性油とは、例えば、セチル-2-エチルヘキサノエート、2-エチルヘキシルパルミテート、2-オクチルドデシルミリステート、ネオペンチルグリコール-2-エチルヘキサノエート、イソプロピルミリステート、ミリスチルミリステート、テトラ2-エチルヘキサン酸ペンタエリスリチル、コハク酸ジ2-エチルヘキシル、トリエチルヘキサノイン、リンゴ酸ジイソステアリル等のエステル類等を使用することが可能である。
植物油及び/又はエステル結合を1つ以上含む極性油の配合量は、毛髪化粧料全量に対して、0.1~20質量%が好ましく、さらに好ましくは、0.5~20質量%、最も好ましくは1~15質量%である。
本発明の毛髪化粧料が、製品としては水を実質的に含有しない非水系ヘアオイルであることが好ましいが、形態、剤型によっては、少量の水、低級アルコールを含むことができる。
本発明は下記成分(a)~(c)のみからなるヘアオイルを製造しても好ましい。
また、(d)特定のシリコーンゴム、(e)植物油及び/又はエステル結合を1つ以上含む極性油、或いは、メチルポリシロキサン(ジメチコン)を配合することも好ましい。
下記「表1」に記載した組成のヘアオイルを常法により製造して、本発明の効果を評価した。
効果の評価は、20cmに切りそろえた100本の毛髪の束を、シャンプー処理してタオルドライした後、当該束に各ヘアオイルを塗布し、触感及び観察を行うことにより実施した。
評価項目として、使用感には、毛髪へのなじみ、油っぽさのなさ、仕上がりの持続を選択し、各項目について以下の基準に従って官能評価を行った。さらに経時安定性について評価した。

△:あまりなじみが良くない
×:なじみが良くない
◎:とても油っぽくない
○:油っぽくない
△:やや油っぽい
×:油っぽい
◎:とても持続する
○:持続する
△:あまり持続しない

○:室温1年放置で目視により分離又は沈殿が観察されない。

下記成分(1)~(9)を撹拌溶解、混合して液状ヘアオイルを得た。

Claims (5)
- 下記成分(a)~(c)を配合することを特徴とする毛髪化粧料。
(a)揮発性油分:40~95質量%
(b)高重合直鎖状ブロック型のポリオキシエチレン・ポリオキシプロピレン・ブチレン・ジメチルポリシロキサン共重合体:0.1~20質量%
(c)エタノール:0.1~30質量% - さらに(d)高分子量ポリシロキサン、高重合度ジメチコノール、アミノ変性高分子量シリコーン及びアンモニウム変性高分子量シリコーンからなる群から選ばれた1種又は2種以上のシリコーンゴムを配合することを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の毛髪化粧料。
- さらに(e)植物油及び/又はエステル結合を1つ以上含む極性油を配合することを特徴とする請求項1~3の何れか1項記載の毛髪化粧料。
- 前記毛髪化粧料が、水を実質的に含有しない非水系ヘアオイルであることを特徴とする請求項1~4の何れか1項記載の毛髪化粧料。
