- FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the turbidity detection unit of the dishwasher according to Embodiment 1 of the present invention.
- FIG. 4 is a side cross-sectional view of the turbidity detection unit of the dishwasher according to Embodiment 1 of the present invention.
- FIG. 5 is a front cross-sectional view of the turbidity detector of the dishwasher according to Embodiment 1 of the present invention.
- the convex part 15 protruded from the drainage path 12 is provided in the substantially vertical part 18 in the middle of the drainage path 12.
- the inner surfaces of the lower surface 15a and the upper surface 15b of the convex portion 15 are inclined as shown in the figure. That is, the inner surface of the lower surface 15a is formed so as to be inclined such that the side connected to the drainage passage 12 on the lower surface is lower than the top of the protruding convex portion 15, and the inner surface of the upper surface 15b is connected to the drainage passage 12 connection side of the upper surface. In addition, it is formed to be inclined so as to be higher than the top of the protruding convex portion 15.
- the inner surface of the lower surface 15 a is inclined outward as it goes downstream of the drainage path 12
- the inner surface of the upper surface 15 b is inclined inward as it goes downstream of the drainage path 12.
- the left and right side surfaces 15c are arranged in a substantially vertical direction and face each other in parallel.
- the turbidity detection unit 14 is disposed so as to cover the convex portion 15, and the light emitting unit 14 a and the light receiving unit 14 b of the turbidity detection unit 14 are provided on the outside of the side surface 15 c so as to face each other. At this time, the distance between the light emitting unit 14a and the light receiving unit 14b is set to an appropriate distance according to the detection capability.
- the width of the convex portion 15 (the distance between the side surfaces 15 c on both sides) is smaller than the width of the substantially vertical portion 18 of the drainage passage 12, and the convex portion 15 having a predetermined distance with respect to the width of the drainage passage 12 is provided.
- the turbidity detection unit 14 can take a necessary appropriate distance.
- the drainage path 12 needs to have a cross-sectional area necessary for discharging the washing water out of the dishwasher, and the distance between the light emitting part 14a and the light receiving part 14b of the turbidity detecting part 14 is also There is a necessary distance because of the detection capability.
- the distance between the light emitting unit 14a and the light receiving unit 14b may exceed the required distance.
- the turbidity detecting portion 14 can take a necessary distance. Therefore, ensuring the drainage capacity by ensuring that the cross-sectional area of the drainage channel 12 is wide and ensuring the detection accuracy of the turbidity detection unit 14 are compatible.
- the inner surfaces of the upper and lower surfaces 15b, 15a of the convex portion 15 have an appropriate inclined surface, thereby preventing the vortex from being generated inside the convex portion 15 with respect to the flow of washing water during drainage. Can do. Further, when the turbidity detection unit 14 detects, bubbles generated when the cleaning water comes up move upward, and when the detection is performed when drainage is stopped, a foreign substance having a large specific gravity falls down and has a small specific gravity. Things go up. Therefore, at the time of detection, it is possible to perform stable and accurate detection even in a drained state or in a stopped state.
- the water supply apparatus 3 is opened and water supply starts.
- the water supply device 3 is closed when the water reaches a predetermined water level, and the water supply is completed.
- the motor for driving the pump 5 is not rotating and the switching valve 8 does not close the drain side pipe 6b, the cleaning water naturally communicates with the water storage part 2a of the cleaning tank 2 through the inside of the pump 5. It also reaches the drainage channel 12 that is running.
- the height position of the turbidity detection part 14 is a position lower than the washing water level detected by the water level sensor 4 at the time of a washing
- the switching valve 8 When the cleaning is started, the switching valve 8 is closed on the drain side by the flow of the cleaning water, and the cleaning water does not enter the drain side. Therefore, in this state, the initial clean cleaning water remains confined, and dirt dissolved in the cleaning water circulating during the cleaning process is formed on the inner surface around the convex portion 15 that is the drainage path portion facing the turbidity detection unit 14. It will not adhere. Therefore, the inner surface around the convex portion 15 which is the drainage path portion facing the turbidity detecting portion 14 is kept clean. However, in this state, since the initial clean washing water remains confined in the drainage path portion facing the turbidity detection unit 14, the washing water in the washing tank 2 cannot be detected.
- the drain pump 5b When the dirt in the cleaning tank 2 is detected in the cleaning process, the drain pump 5b operates a little and then stops. As a result, the dirty cleaning water in the cleaning tank 2 enters the periphery of the convex portion 15 which is the drainage path portion facing the turbidity detection unit 14, and the turbidity of the cleaning water can be measured.
- the final residual water is basically clean, but it still has a lot of dirt, especially when there is some dirt, no detergent is used, or cleaning is done with a small amount of detergent.
- the turbidity detection unit 14 is arranged at a position higher than the final remaining water position, the inside of the pipe of the drainage channel 12, particularly the inner surface around the convex portion 15, is washed from the object to be cleaned. It is possible to prevent dirt such as oil that has been dropped and mixed into the washing water from adhering.
- the turbidity of the cleaning water can be measured at an arbitrary timing in the cleaning process by operating the drain pump 5b at a level that does not drain.
- the pump 5 is a cleaning / drainage pump that functions as two types of pumps, that is, a cleaning pump 5a and a drainage pump 5b, by changing the rotational direction of the motor.
- the pump may function as two types of pumps by switching the flow of the washing water to the pipe 6a and the drain side pipe 6b in one rotation direction.
- the turbidity detection unit 14 is above the remaining water even if the pump has no switching valve, or the washing pump and the drainage pump are separate dedicated types. Therefore, dirt does not adhere to the turbidity detection unit 14 due to residual water.
- a substantially vertical part 18 is provided in the middle of the drainage path 12 outside the dishwasher from the drainage pump 5b, and the turbidity detection part 14 is provided at a high position, not below the washing tank 2 as in the prior art. . Accordingly, even during the cleaning process, the water is disposed in the drainage passage 12 at a position far away from the cleaning tank 2, and the clean water that has been supplied first is contaminated with the dirty cleaning water in the cleaning tank 2. Since it does not change easily, it is advantageous for adhesion of dirt. In particular, the turbidity detection unit is much more advantageous than the one in the cleaning circulation path. Here, there is no practical problem with respect to the time delay of turbidity detection and the decrease in turbidity detection accuracy.
- the turbidity detection unit 14 that detects information about the turbidity of the washing water is based on the level of the washing water remaining in the drainage path 12 at the end of the final drainage in the operation of the dishwasher.
- the turbidity detecting unit 14 remains. You don't have to touch the contaminants in the water, so you can keep it clean.
- the inner surfaces of the upper and lower surfaces 15b and 15a of the convex portion 15 are inclined, it is possible to prevent the vortex from being generated inside the convex portion 15 with respect to the flow of cleaning water during drainage.
- the washing water to be drained may contain bubbles, which may cause the accuracy of the turbidity detection to be significantly deviated, the bubbles generated when the washing water comes upon detection by the turbidity detection unit 14. Moves upward, and when the detection is performed when the drainage is stopped, a foreign substance having a large specific gravity falls downward and a small specific gravity can rise upward.
- the wash water that has come to the turbidity detection unit 14 can surely fall to the lower side when the level of the wash water decreases, and the wash water can be prevented from staying in the turbidity detection unit 14. Therefore, at the time of detection, stable and accurate detection is possible even in a drained state or in a stopped state.
- the inclined shape of the inner surfaces of the upper and lower surfaces 15b and 15a of the convex portion 15 is not limited to the constant inclination shown in FIG. 4, and the inclination may change smoothly or stepwise.
- FIG. 6 is a perspective view of the turbidity detection unit of the dishwasher according to Embodiment 2 of the present invention
- FIG. 7 is a side sectional view of the turbidity detection unit of the dishwasher according to Embodiment 2 of the present invention. It is.
- the substantially vertical portion 18 in the middle of the drainage path 12 has a linear shape in the first embodiment, but in this embodiment, the upstream vertical portion 18a on the upstream side of the drainage flow and the downstream vertical portion 18b on the downstream side Are provided so as to be shifted in the horizontal direction, and the inclined portion 18c therebetween is smoothly connected.
- the widths of the pipes of the upstream vertical portion 18a and the downstream vertical portion 18b in the shifted direction are substantially equal.
- the convex part 16 which protruded from the substantially vertical part 18 is provided so that the upstream vertical part 18a may straddle the inclination part 18c.
- the projecting dimension of the convex part 16 from the drainage path 12 (upstream vertical part 18a) is set so as not to exceed the displacement dimension between the upstream vertical part 18a and the downstream vertical part 18b. Accordingly, the drainage path 12 is bent above the convex portion 16 of the substantially vertical portion 18.
- the inner surface of the lower surface 16a of the convex portion 16 has the same shape as the inner surface of the lower surface 15a of the first embodiment, is connected to the upstream vertical portion 18a, and is inclined as shown in FIG. Since it is directly connected to the drainage path 12 by connecting to the inclined portion 18c, the upper portion of the convex portion 16 is an opening portion 16b in an open state. Further, the side surfaces 16c on both sides are arranged in a substantially vertical direction, and the two surfaces are opposed in parallel.
- the configuration around the turbidity detection unit is the same as that of the first embodiment.
- the turbidity detection unit 14 is arranged so as to cover the convex portion 16, and the light emitting unit 14 a and the light receiving unit 14 b are opposed to the outside of the side surface 16 c. Provided. At this time, the distance between the light emitting unit 14a and the light receiving unit 14b is set to an appropriate distance according to the detection capability.
- the width of the convex portion 16 (distance between the side surfaces 16c on both sides) is made smaller than the width of the substantially vertical portion 18 of the drainage passage 12, and the convex portion 16 having a predetermined distance with respect to the width of the drainage passage 12 is provided. This makes it possible for the turbidity detection unit 14 to take a necessary and appropriate distance.
- the inner surface of the lower surface 16a of the convex portion 16 has an appropriate inclined surface, and the upper portion opens as the opening portion 16b. It is possible to more effectively prevent vortices from being generated in the interior of 16. Furthermore, bubbles generated when cleaning water comes upon detection by the turbidity detection unit 14 move more quickly upward, and when detection is performed when drainage is stopped, foreign matter having a large specific gravity falls downward. The one with a small specific gravity can go up more quickly. In addition, the wash water that has come to the turbidity detection unit 14 can surely fall to the lower side when the level of the wash water decreases, and the wash water can be prevented from staying in the turbidity detection unit 14. Therefore, at the time of detection, even in a drained state or in a stopped state, it is possible to perform a more stable and accurate detection.
- the inclined shape of the inner surface of the lower surface 16a of the convex portion 16 is not limited to the constant inclination shown in FIG. 7, and the inclination may change smoothly or stepwise.
- the operation, action, and effect of the dishwasher are the same as in the first embodiment.
