Abstract

 押圧荷重に応じて複数段階の入力を受け付ける電子機器であって、荷重検出部が、第1段階の入力を受け付ける荷重基準を満たす押圧荷重を検出すると、被写体に対して焦点を自動で調整するオートフォーカス処理を行い、前記荷重基準より高い第2段階の入力を受け付ける荷重基準を満たす押圧荷重を検出すると、静止撮像画像を取得するように制御する制御部と、を備え、制御部は、オートフォーカス処理を開始したときから被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了するときまでの間に、荷重検出部が、前記第2段階の入力を受け付ける荷重基準を満たす押圧荷重を検出した場合には、静止撮像画像を取得しないように制御する。

Description

電子機器
 本発明は、電子機器に関するものであり、特に、押圧荷重に応じて、入力を複数段階で受け付ける電子機器に関するものである。
 従来、携帯電話機やデジタルカメラ等の電子機器には、ユーザが操作入力を行うための入力装置として、タクトスイッチやメンブレンスイッチ等のメカスイッチ(メカニカルスイッチ)が使用されている。特に、最近では、小型の端末機器に種々の多彩な機能が搭載されていることが多く、そのような端末機器の筐体表面には、各種のスイッチで構成されるキーやボタンなどが配設されている。
 このようなスイッチは、通常、1つのスイッチに対して1つの動作(またはプログラム)が割り当てられている。例えば、携帯電話機の場合、テンキーに対して押圧入力が検知されると、各キーに対応する数字が出力されたり、またメニューキーに対して押圧入力が検知されると、メニュー画面が表示されたりする。
 しかしながら、複数の動作を連続して行いたい場合などに、ひとつひとつの動作を、それぞれの動作が割り当てられた別個のスイッチを用いて行うと、非常に手間がかかり面倒な操作となる場合がある。そこで、1つのスイッチを使用して、そのスイッチに入力が検知されるたびに複数の動作が順番に実行されるような設定が考えられるが、このような入力方式の場合、動作が実行される順番を予め規定しなければならない。そのため、ユーザが所望する任意の動作が即座に実行されるような操作を行うことはできない。
 以上のような問題に対処し得るものとして、1つのスイッチに対する入力の態様に応じて、複数の動作を割り当てることができる入力装置が提案されている(例えば、特許文献1参照)。
 この特許文献1に記載の入力装置は、操作を行う際の入力にかかる押圧荷重に応じて、入力を2段階で受け付けることができる。
 図8は、特許文献1に記載の操作装置100の内部構造を概略的に示す断面図である。図8に示すように、この操作装置100は、第1の検出手段200および第2の検出手段300共にメンブレンスイッチで構成されており、第1の検出手段200の(押圧する方向の)下方に、第2の検出手段300を設けている。ユーザの指Fが直接触れる部分は可撓性の部材で構成され、ユーザが操作装置100を押圧すると、この可撓性部材が撓むことにより、その押圧荷重を第1の検出手段200に伝達する。ユーザが指Fを低加重(第1の操作力)で第1の接点S3に対応する位置を押し下げると、第1の上側導電部201cと第1の下側導電部202cとが互いに接触して第1の接点S3が導通し、これを第1段階の入力としている。さらに、前記低加重よりも大きな高加重(第2の操作力)をかけて指Fを押し下げると、第2の上側導電部301cと第2の下側導電部302cとが接触して第2の接点T3が導通し、これを第2段階の入力としている。なお、図8においては、操作装置100に対してユーザの指Fの第2の操作力による押圧が行われることにより、第1の接点S3が第1段階の入力の検知のみならず、第2の接点T3が第2段階の入力まで検知した様子を示している。
 このような入力装置は、ユーザの入力の押圧荷重に応じて入力を2段階で受け付けることにより、これらの各段階に異なる動作を割り当てることができる。このような入力装置を用いることにより、ユーザは、1つのスイッチ(入力装置)を用いて、このスイッチに対して押圧入力を行うという1つの動作を行う際の押圧力を調整することにより、複数の入力を区別して行うことができる。
 すなわち、このような2段階の入力を受け付ける入力装置によれば、ユーザが弱い押圧力によってボタンを押圧する状態を保つことにより、1段目の入力を行うことができる。このような入力状態は、「半押し」とも称され、以下、「第1段階の入力」と記す。また、このような入力装置によれば、ユーザが第1段階の入力よりも強い押圧力によってボタンを押し込むことにより、2段目の入力を行うことができる。このような入力状態は、「全押し」とも称され、以下、「第2段階の入力」と記す。
 このようなメカスイッチにより、押圧荷重に応じて2段階で入力を受け付ける入力装置の典型的な用途の例として、カメラのシャッターボタンが存在する。通常、デジタルカメラなどの機能を搭載した携帯端末などにおいては、ユーザが第1段階の入力を行う「半押し」の入力を行うことにより、オートフォーカス処理をオンにすることができる。その状態で、ユーザが第2段階の入力を行う「全押し」の入力を行うことにより、シャッターを切る動作を行い、静止撮像画像を取得することができる。このように、第1段階の入力と、第2段階の入力とで異なる動作を割り当てることができ、なおかつ、ユーザは、その異なる動作を所望に応じて区別して操作することができる。
 なお、押圧荷重に応じて複数段階の入力を受け付ける入力装置は、メカスイッチに限定されるものではない。例えば、表示装置と位置入力装置とを組み合わせて構成したタッチパネル式の入力装置においても、ソフトウェアによる処理を行うことにより、押圧荷重に応じて複数段階の入力を受け付ける入力装置が提案されている(例えば、特許文献2参照)。
 この特許文献2に記載のタッチパネル式入力装置は、表示画面の表面部に設けられるタッチパネルの押圧操作位置を検出する位置検出手段と、タッチパネルに対する押圧操作力を検出する圧力検出手段とを備えている。この入力装置は、タッチパネルの1回の押圧操作により、位置検出手段の検出位置に応じた入力と、圧力検出手段の検出に応じた多段階の入力との2系統の入力を行うことができる。
 この入力装置によれば、ユーザが表示画面上のタッチパネルを押圧操作した際に、その押圧操作位置によって、第1系統の入力を行うことができ、同時に、その際のタッチパネルに対する押圧力によって、第2系統の入力を行うことができる。したがって、ユーザは、タッチパネルに1回の押圧操作を行うことにより、2系統の入力を行うことができ、押圧操作を行う回数を低減することができる。
 このように、メカスイッチを用いた入力装置においても、またタッチパネルを用いた入力装置においても、押圧荷重に応じて複数段階で入力を受け付けることができる。このような入力装置では、押圧荷重に応じて入力を複数段階に区別して受け付けることにより、複数の機能を1つのボタンやキーに集約できるため、操作入力に係るキーやボタンの数を低減することができる。特に、携帯端末のような小型の端末の場合には、端末の筐体が小型であるため、あまり多くのキーやボタンを端末本体に配設することは困難である。したがって、携帯端末において、少ないキーやボタンを用いることにより複数の機能を使い分けることができれば、端末本体に配設しなければならないキーやボタンを減らすことができる。

 しかしながら、特許文献1に記載の操作装置100においては、第1の検出手段200のメンブレンスイッチおよび第2の検出手段300のメンブレンスイッチのそれぞれの配置構成などの各仕様は、設計時または製造時に既に規定されているものである。また、メンブレンスイッチを構成する部材の可撓性の度合いなども、製品製造時に決まるものであり、このような構成の仕様を後から変更することは一般に困難である。
 そのため、このような入力装置において、どの程度の押圧荷重により第1段階の入力が受け付けられ、またどの程度の押圧荷重により第2段階の入力が受け付けられるのかは、ユーザが実際に入力操作を行い、試行錯誤により感覚的に把握するしかない。すなわち、入力装置が要求する規定された押圧荷重に、それぞれのユーザが、自らの押圧力を適合させる必要がある。
 一般に、細かい作業や、手先の微妙な力加減の調整は、ユーザの得手不得手による個人差が激しい。したがって、手先の器用な人にとっては特別な困難なく自然に行うことができるような態様の入力操作であっても、一般的な全てのユーザがそのような入力操作に即座に対応できるとは限らない。
 そのため、ユーザは入力装置に第1段階の入力のみに留めたいにもかかわらず、微妙な力加減の適切な調整ができずに押圧力を加え過ぎてしまい、意図せずに第2段階の入力までしてしまう虞がある。特に、押圧による入力操作を行う際の荷重の程度は、ユーザが目視できるものではないため、ユーザはどの程度の押圧力を調整すれば、各段階の入力が受け付けられるのかを正確に把握することは困難である。
 このような事情は、上記特許文献2の場合においても同様である。特許文献2に記載のタッチパネル式入力装置は、圧力検出手段が受け付ける押圧荷重の閾値を予め設定しておかなければ、押圧荷重に応じて複数段階で入力を区別して受け付けることはできない。したがって、入力装置が要求する規定された押圧荷重に、それぞれのユーザが、自らの押圧力を適合させなければならない。そのため、ユーザによっては、やはり微妙な力加減の適切な調整ができずに押圧力を加え過ぎてしまい、第1段階の入力で留めたいにもかかわらず、意図せずに第2段階の入力までしてしまうという問題がある。
 このように、ユーザの意図しない入力がなされてしまうと、このような操作入力は、入力装置にとっては正当な処理手順にしたがって動作を行っているだけであるが、ユーザにとっては誤動作でしかない。上記した入力装置をカメラのシャッターボタンに適用した場合、ユーザの押圧力の調整が適切になされずに、第1段階の入力を超えて一気に第2段階の入力まで受け付けてしまうと、オートフォーカス処理が適切に動作し完了する前にシャッターを切ってしまう。この場合、オートフォーカス処理が適切に動作せずに、ピント外れの(被写体に焦点が合っていない)静止撮像画像が取得されてしまう虞がある。
 したがって、かかる事情に鑑みてなされた本発明の目的は、押圧荷重に応じて入力を受け付ける電子機器であって、オートフォーカス処理が適切に動作せずに、ピント外れの静止撮像画像が取得されてしまう虞を低減する電子機器を提供することにある。
 上記した課題を解決すべく、第1の発明による電子機器は、押圧荷重に応じて複数段階の入力を受け付ける電子機器であって、被写体を撮像する撮像部と、押圧による入力の押圧荷重を検出する荷重検出部と、前記荷重検出部が、第1段階の入力を受け付ける荷重基準を満たす押圧荷重を検出すると、被写体に対して焦点を自動で調整するオートフォーカス処理を行い、前記荷重基準より高い第2段階の入力を受け付ける荷重基準を満たす押圧荷重を検出すると、静止撮像画像を取得するように制御する制御部と、を備え、前記制御部は、オートフォーカス処理を開始したときから被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了するときまでの間に、前記荷重検出部が、前記第2段階の入力を受け付ける荷重基準を満たす押圧荷重を検出した場合には、静止撮像画像を取得しないように制御することを特徴とする。
 また、第2の発明による電子機器は、前記制御部は、被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了した際に、前記荷重検出部が検出している押圧荷重より高い荷重基準を、第2段階の入力を受け付ける荷重基準として設定するように制御することを特徴とする。
 また、第3の発明による電子機器は、押圧荷重に応じて複数段階の入力を受け付ける電子機器であって、被写体を撮像する撮像部と、押圧による入力の押圧荷重を検出する荷重検出部と、前記荷重検出部が、第1段階の入力を受け付ける荷重基準を満たす押圧荷重を検出すると、被写体に対して焦点を自動で調整するオートフォーカス処理を行い、前記荷重基準より高い第2段階の入力を受け付ける荷重基準を満たす押圧荷重を検出すると、静止撮像画像を取得するように制御する制御部と、を備え、前記制御部は、オートフォーカス処理を開始したときから被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了するときまでの間、前記荷重検出部が、押圧荷重を検出しないように制御することを特徴とする。
 また、第4の発明による電子機器は、前記制御部は、被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了した際に、前記荷重検出部が検出している押圧荷重より高い荷重基準を、第2段階の入力を受け付ける荷重基準として設定するように制御することを特徴とする。
 また、第5の発明による電子機器は、押圧荷重に応じて複数段階の入力を受け付ける電子機器であって、被写体を撮像する撮像部と、押圧による入力の押圧荷重を検出する荷重検出部と、前記荷重検出部が、入力を受け付ける荷重基準を満たす押圧荷重を検出すると、被写体に対して焦点を自動で調整するオートフォーカス処理を行うように前記撮像部を制御する制御部と、を備え、前記制御部は、オートフォーカス処理を開始したときから被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了するときまでの間、前記荷重検出部が、押圧荷重を検出しないように制御し、被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了した後には、前記荷重検出部が、単位時間当たりの所定荷重変化量を超える荷重変化量を検出すると、静止撮像画像を取得するように制御することを特徴とする。
 上述した電子機器によれば、オートフォーカス処理を開始したときから被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了するときまでの間に、静止撮像画像を取得しないので、オートフォーカス処理が適切に動作せずに、ピント外れの静止撮像画像が取得されてしまう虞を低減することができる。

 以下、本発明に係る電子機器の実施の形態について、図を参照して説明する。
(第1実施の形態)
 図1は、本発明の実施の形態に係る電子機器の機能ブロック図である。図1に示すように、電子機器は、タッチセンサ11、荷重検出部12、触感呈示部13、撮像部14、記憶部15、表示部16、および、全体の動作を制御する制御部17を有する。
 タッチセンサ11は、そのタッチ面11aに対する指やスタイラスペンなどのタッチ対象によるタッチを検出するもので、抵抗膜方式、静電容量方式、光学式等で構成して、表示部16上に配置する。荷重検出部12は、押圧による入力の押圧荷重を検出するものであり、例えば、タッチセンサ11のタッチ面11aに対する押圧荷重を検出する。荷重検出部12は、例えば、歪みゲージセンサや圧電素子等の荷重に対して反応する素子を用いて構成する。触感呈示部13は、タッチセンサ11を振動させるもので、例えば、圧電素子を用いて構成する。
 撮像部14は、撮像レンズ、ズームレンズ、フォーカスレンズおよび絞り等の光学系、CCD(Charge Coupled Device)やCMOS(Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)等の固体撮像素子で構成され、ユーザは、かかる撮像部14により被写体を撮像することができる。
 記憶部15は、各種アプリケーションおよび入力された各種情報などを記憶するとともに、ワークメモリなどとしても機能する。特に、本実施の形態では、記憶部15は各段階の入力を受け付ける荷重基準および入力の受け付けを解除する荷重基準を記憶するとともに、荷重検出部12が検出するタッチ面11aに対する押圧荷重などを、制御部17が処理するために一時的に記憶する。
 表示部16は、種々の入力用オブジェクト等を表示するもので、例えば、液晶表示パネルや有機EL表示パネル等を用いて構成する。また、特に、本実施の形態では、撮像部14から出力される撮像信号に基づいて、撮像画像を表示する。表示部16による表示態様としては、リアルタイムに撮像画像を動撮像画像として表示する、いわゆるライブビュー機能による表示態様や、撮像画像をいわゆるシャッターを切る動作(静止撮像画像を取得する動作)により静止撮像画像として表示する態様がある。また、表示部16にライブビュー機能により表示された被写体に対するタッチ対象によるタッチは、タッチセンサ11から出力される位置情報に基づいて制御部17により検出される。
 制御部17は、例えばCPU等からなり、タッチセンサ11からの位置情報、荷重検出部12からの押圧荷重情報に基づいて各部の動作を制御する。また、制御部17は、撮像部14の光学系を制御し、被写体に対する焦点を自動で調整するオートフォーカス処理を行う。オートフォーカス処理自体は周知技術であるので、オートフォーカス処理の種別については本発明では特に限定を行わず、種々のオートフォーカス処理を適用することができる。また、表示部16にライブビュー機能により表示された被写体に対するタッチ対象によるタッチを検出すると、かかる被写体に対するオートフォーカス処理を開始することができる。
 次に、本実施の形態に係る電子機器による入力処理について説明する。図2は、本実施の形態に係る電子機器による入力処理の流れを説明するフローチャートである。本処理は、撮像機能が起動しており、表示部16にはいわゆるライブビュー機能により被写体を含む撮像画像が表示されているものとする。
 先ず、制御部17は、タッチセンサ11のタッチ面11aに対する指等のタッチ対象によるタッチを検出し、さらに、荷重検出部12により検出される指等のタッチ対象によるタッチに係る押圧荷重が第1段階の入力を受け付ける荷重基準(「第1の入力受付荷重基準」と称する)Fa1を満たしているか否か判断する(ステップS101)。荷重検出部12により検出される押圧荷重が第1の入力受付荷重基準Fa1を満たしている場合、制御部17は、第1段階の入力を受け付ける(ステップS102)。
 次に、制御部17は、第1段階の入力が受け付けられたことをユーザに通知するために、タッチ面11aをタッチしている指に対して触感Aを呈示するように触感呈示部13を制御する(ステップS103)。ステップS103の後、制御部17は、荷重検出部12により検出されるタッチ対象によるタッチに係る押圧荷重が、第1段階の入力の受け付けを解除する第1の荷重基準(「第1の入力解除荷重基準」と称する)Fr1を満たし、かつ、第1の入力解除荷重基準Fr1および第1の入力受付荷重基準Fa1より高い第2段階の入力を受け付ける第2の荷重基準(「第2の入力受付荷重基準」と称する)Fa2を満たしていないか否か判断する(ステップS104)。ここで、制御部17は、荷重検出部12により検出されるタッチ対象によるタッチに係る押圧荷重が、第1の入力解除荷重基準Fr1を満たし、かつ、第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa2を満たしていないと判断すると、ステップS105に進み、そのように判断されないと、ステップS119に進む。
 ステップS105では、制御部17は、荷重検出部12が第1の入力解除荷重基準Fr1を満たし、かつ、第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa2を満たしていない押圧荷重を所定時間連続して検出しているか否か判断する(ステップS105)。ステップS105で、荷重検出部12が、第1の入力解除荷重基準Fr1を満たし、かつ、第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa2を満たしていない押圧荷重を所定時間連続して検出していると判断されると、ステップS106に進み、所定時間連続して検出されていないと判断されると、ステップS104に戻る。
 ステップS106にて、制御部17は、撮像部14の光学系等を制御して、被写体に焦点が自動で調整されるようにオートフォーカス処理を開始する。ここで、焦点が自動で調整される対象である被写体は、ユーザが、表示部16にライブビュー機能により表示される被写体に対してタッチすることにより決定されてもよい。ステップS106の後、制御部17は、撮像部14の光学系等を制御することにより被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了した(被写体に焦点が合った)か否か判断する(ステップS107)。被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了したと判断されると、制御部17は、ユーザに被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了したことを通知するために、タッチ面11aをタッチしている指等のタッチ対象に対して触感Bを呈示するように触感呈示部13を制御する(ステップS108)。ここで、タッチ対象に対して呈示する触感Bは、触感Aと同じ触感であってもよいし、異なる触感であってもよい。
 ステップS108の後、制御部17は、被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了した際に荷重検出部12が検出している押圧荷重に基づき、新たに第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa’2(変更後の第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa’2)を設定する(ステップS109)。新たに設定される第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa’2は、被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了した際に荷重検出部12が検出している押圧荷重より高い荷重基準とする。
 一方、ステップS107にて、被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了していないと判断されると、制御部17は、荷重検出部12が検出する押圧荷重が、第1の入力解除荷重基準Fr1を満たさないか否か判断する(ステップS110)。荷重検出部12が検出する押圧荷重が、第1の入力解除荷重基準Fr1を満たさないと判断されると、ステップS116に進み、満たすと判断されると、ステップS107に戻る。
 一方、ステップS109にて、新たに第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa’2を設定したのち、制御部17は、荷重検出部12が検出する押圧荷重が、この変更後の第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa’2を満たすか否か判断する(ステップS111)。ステップS111にて、荷重検出部12が検出する押圧荷重が、この変更後の第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa’2を満たすと判断されると、第2の入力を受け付け(ステップS112)、被写体を含む静止撮像画像を取得する(ステップS113)。ここで、静止撮像画像の取得とは、例えば、記憶部15のRAM等に一時的に保存する態様であったり、ROM等に保存する態様であったりする。
 ステップS113の後、制御部17は、ユーザに静止撮像画像を取得したことを通知するために、タッチ面11aをタッチしている指等のタッチ対象に対して触感Cを呈示するように触感呈示部13を制御し(ステップS114)、本処理を終了する。なお、タッチ対象に対して呈示する触感Cは、触感Aまたは触感Bと同じ触感であってもよいし、異なる触感であってもよい。
 一方、ステップS111にて、制御部17は、荷重検出部12により検出される押圧荷重が、この変更後の第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa’2を満さないと判断されると、次に、第1の入力解除荷重基準Fr1を満たさないか否か判断される(ステップS115)。ここで、第1の入力解除荷重基準Fr1を満たさないと判断されると、第1の入力の受け付けを解除し(ステップS116)、オートフォーカス処理を停止する(ステップS117)。そして、ステップS117の後、制御部17は、ユーザにオートフォーカス処理が停止したことを通知するために、タッチ面11aをタッチしている指等のタッチ対象に対して触感Dを呈示するように触感呈示部13を制御し(ステップS118)、本処理を終了する。なお、タッチ対象に対して呈示する触感Dは、触感A、触感B、または触感Cと同じ触感であってもよいし、異なる触感であってもよい。
 一方、ステップS104にて、制御部17は、荷重検出部12が第1の入力解除荷重基準Fr1を満たし、かつ、第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa2を満たしていない押圧荷重を検出していないと判断すると、ステップS119に進む。制御部17は、荷重検出部12により検出される押圧荷重が第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa2を満たしているか否か判断し、満たしていると判断するとステップS112に進み、満たしていないと判断すると、ステップS116に進む。
 図3は、荷重検出部12により検出される押圧荷重が変化する様子を表したグラフである。X軸方向は時間の推移を表し、Y軸方向は荷重検出部12が検出する押圧荷重を表す。図3において、ユーザがタッチセンサ11のタッチ面11aをタッチした時点が原点であり、その時の押圧荷重は0である。
 ユーザが、タッチ面11aにタッチした後、押圧力をタッチ面11aに加えることにより、荷重検出部12が検出する押圧荷重が時間と共に増加する。t1の時点で、荷重検出部12が検出する押圧荷重が第1の入力受付荷重基準Fa1に達し(を満たし)、第1段階の入力が受け付けられる。この際、制御部17は、タッチ面11aをタッチしているタッチ対象に対して触感を呈示するように触感呈示部13を制御することにより、ユーザは、第1段階の入力が受け付けられたことを知ることができる。
 ユーザは、その後、荷重検出部12に、所定時間第1の入力解除荷重基準Fr1を満たし、かつ、第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa2を満たしていない押圧荷重を検出するように押圧力を調整することにより、t2の時点から、制御部17によりオートフォーカス処理が開始される。制御部17は、オートフォーカス処理が開始されると、被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了するまでは、静止撮像画像を取得するに適していないとして、たとえ、荷重検出部12が、第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa2を満たす押圧荷重を検出しても(t3の時点)、被写体を含む静止撮像画像を取得しないように制御する。このように制御することにより、被写体に焦点があっていない静止撮像画像が誤って取得されることがない。
 t4の時点で、オートフォーカス処理により、被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了した場合、その際に荷重検出部12が検出していた押圧荷重に基づき新たな第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa’2を設定する。変更後の第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa’2を用いることなく、変更前の第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa2に基づき、静止撮像画像を取得するか否かを判断した場合、オートフォーカス処理か開始したときから被写体に対して焦点の調整が完了するまでの間に、変更前の第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa2を満たす押圧荷重が検出され、焦点の調整が完了のときにも、荷重検出部12が検出する押圧荷重が、変更前の第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa2を満たしたままであると、焦点の調整が完了したと同時に、静止撮像画像が取得される。ユーザは、オートフォーカス処理がいつ終わるのかは、通常知りえないので、意図しないタイミングの静止撮像画像が取得されてしまう虞がある。したがって、本実施の形態においては、焦点の調整が完了した際に荷重検出部12が検出している押圧荷重に基づき、新たな第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa’2を設定する。このように、新たな第2の入力受付荷重基準を設定することにより、ユーザは、被写体に焦点が合った後に、ユーザが意図してさらに押圧力を加えなければ、静止撮像画像が取得されないようにする。
 ユーザは、オートフォーカス処理が完了した後に、意識的に押圧力を強め、荷重検出部12に変更後の第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa’2を満たす押圧荷重を検出させることにより(t5の時点)、静止撮像画像を取得することができる。
 このように、本実施の形態によれば、オートフォーカス処理か開始したときから被写体に対して焦点の調整が完了するまでの間は、荷重検出部12が、第2の入力受付荷重基準Fa2を満たす押圧荷重を検出しても、被写体を含む静止撮像画像を取得しないように制御しているので、被写体に焦点があっていない静止撮像画像が誤って取得される虞を低減することができる。
(第2実施の形態)
 次に、本発明の第2実施の形態に係る電子機器について説明する。本発明の第2実施の形態は、上述した第1実施の形態において、図2で説明したステップS106におけるオートフォーカス処理が開始された後の処理を変更する。第2実施の形態に係る電子機器は、第1実施の形態で説明した電子機器と同じ構成により実施することができ、制御部17の処理および動作が異なるものである。したがって、上述した第1実施の形態と同じ説明、同じ効果の記載は適宜省略する。
 第2実施の形態について、図4のフローチャートを用いて入力処理を説明する。なお、第1実施の形態に係る図2のフローチャートと同一の処理については、図2と同一のステップ番号を付与するとともに、その説明は省略する。
 第2実施の形態では、制御部17は、ステップS106にて、オートフォーカス処理を開始した後、荷重検出部12による荷重検出を停止する(ステップS201)。荷重検出を停止したのち、オートフォーカス処理に基づき、被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了したか否かを判断し、焦点の調整が完了するまでは、次のステップには進まない(ステップS202)。ステップS202にて、被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了したと判断されると、第1実施の形態と同様にステップS108およびステップS109の処理を行う。その後、制御部17は、荷重検出部12による荷重検出を再開する(ステップS203)。ステップS203以降の処理は、第1実施の形態と同様である。
 図5は、荷重検出部12により検出される押圧荷重が変化する様子を表したグラフである。X軸方向は時間の推移を表し、Y軸方向は荷重検出部12が検出する押圧荷重を表す。図5において、ユーザがタッチセンサ11のタッチ面11aをタッチした時点が原点であり、その時の押圧荷重は0である。
 第2実施の形態において、制御部17は、t2の時点において、オートフォーカス処理が開始されると、荷重検出部12のよる押圧荷重の検出処理を停止し、t4の時点において、被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了すると、荷重検出部12のよる押圧荷重の検出処理を再開する。したがって、オートフォーカス処理が開始したときから被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了するときまでの間、荷重検出を行っていないため、荷重検出部12が、第2の入力受付荷重基準を満たす押圧荷重を検出することはない。よって、被写体に焦点が合っていない状態で、誤って静止撮像画像が取得される虞が低減される。
(第3実施の形態)
 次に、本発明の第3実施の形態に係る電子機器について説明する。本発明の第3実施の形態は、第1および第2実施の形態と異なり、荷重検出部12が、単位時間あたりの所定荷重変化量を超える荷重変化量を検出すると、制御部17は、静止撮像画像を取得する。第3実施の形態に係る電子機器は、第2実施の形態で説明した電子機器と同じ構成により実施することができ、制御部17の処理および動作が異なるものである。したがって、上述した第2実施の形態と同じ説明、同じ効果の記載は適宜省略する。
 第3実施の形態について、図6のフローチャートを用いて入力処理を説明する。なお、図6のフローチャートにおいて、図2、図4の同様の処理を行うステップには、図2、図4と同じステップ番号を付与している。
 第3実施の形態では、制御部17は、ステップS101にて、荷重検出部12により検出される押圧荷重が第1の入力受付荷重基準Fa1を満たしていると判断すると、第1の入力を受け付け(ステップS102)、タッチ面11aをタッチしているタッチ対象に対して触感を呈示するように触感呈示部13を制御する(ステップS301)。本実施の形態においては、ステップS301の後、第1および第2実施の形態に係る図2および図4のフローチャートで説明したステップS104およびステップS105の処理を省略して、ステップS106に進む。
 また、制御部17は、ステップS203にて、荷重検出部12による押圧荷重の検出を再開したのち、荷重検出部12が単位時間当たりの所定荷重変化量を超える押圧荷重の荷重変化量を検出したか否か判断する(ステップS302)。荷重検出部12が単位時間当たりの所定荷重変化量を超える押圧荷重の荷重変化量を検出したと判断すると、第2実施の形態と同様に、ステップS112、ステップS113およびステップS114の処理を行う。一方、荷重検出部12が単位時間当たりの所定荷重変化量を超える押圧荷重の荷重変化量を検出しなかったと判断すると、第2実施の形態と同様にステップS115の処理を行う。
 図7は、荷重検出部12により検出される押圧荷重が変化する様子を表したグラフである。X軸方向は時間の推移を表し、Y軸方向は荷重検出部12が検出する押圧荷重を表す。図7において、ユーザがタッチセンサ11のタッチ面11aをタッチした時点が原点であり、その時の押圧荷重は0である。
 第3実施の形態において、制御部17は、t2の時点において、オートフォーカス処理が完了された後、荷重検出部12が単位時間当たりの所定荷重変化量を超える押圧荷重の荷重変化量を検出すると、被写体の静止撮像画像を取得する(t4の時点)。
 第3実施の形態においては、被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了したのちに、荷重検出部12が単位時間当たりの所定荷重変化量を超える押圧荷重の荷重変化量を検出すると、静止撮像画像を取得する構成であるため、被写体に焦点が合っていない状態で、誤って静止撮像画像が取得される虞が低減される。
 本発明を諸図面や実施例に基づき説明してきたが、当業者であれば本開示に基づき種々の変形や修正を行うことが容易であることに注意されたい。従って、これらの変形や修正は本発明の範囲内に含まれることに留意されたい。
 本実施の形態においては、オートフォーカス処理が開始したときから被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了するときまでの間、静止撮像画像を取得しないように制御をおこなっているが、本発明はこれに限定されず、たとえば、この処理を自動露光処理に適用することが可能である。たとえば、荷重検出部12が第1の入力受付荷重基準を満たす押圧荷重を検出すると、自動露光処理を開始し、自動露光処理を開始してから撮像部14の絞り等を制御することにより最適な露光が決定されるときまでの間は、静止撮像画像を取得しないように制御を行ってもよい。また、同様に、荷重検出部12が第1の入力受付荷重基準を満たす押圧荷重を検出すると、オートフォーカス処理および自動露光処理を開始し、オートフォーカス処理および自動露光処理を開始してから、被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了するときまで、および最適な露光が決定されるときのいずれか遅いときまでの間は、静止撮像画像を取得しないように制御を行ってもよい。
 また、本発明においては、タッチセンサ11の配設位置について特に限定されず、適宜タッチセンサ11を配設してよい。たとえば、カメラ等のレリーズボタンの代わりに本発明に係るタッチセンサ11を配設してもよいし、タッチセンサ11を表示部14に並設していわゆるタッチパネルのような構成としてもよい。
 また、第1および第2実施の形態においては、ステップS104およびステップS105の処理を行っているが、これを省略してもよい。つまり、ステップS103の処理を行ったのちに、ステップS106の処理を行う。このように構成することにより、荷重検出部12が第1の入力受付荷重基準を満たす押圧荷重を検出すると、所定時間を経過する前にオートフォーカス処理が開始する。
 また、本実施形態の説明における表示部16およびタッチセンサ11は、両機能を共通の基板に持たせることにより一体化した装置によって構成されてもよい。このような表示部16とタッチセンサ11との両機能を一体化した装置の構成の一例としては、液晶パネルが有するマトリクス状配列の画素電極群に、フォトダイオード等の複数の光電変換素子を規則的に混在させたものがある。この装置は、液晶パネル構造によって画像を表示する一方で、パネル表面の所望位置をタッチ入力するペンの先端で液晶表示用のバックライトの光を反射し、この反射光を周辺の光電変換素子が受光することにより、タッチ位置を検出することができる。
 また、圧電素子は、圧力が加わると電力を発生し、電力が加えられると変形するため、圧電素子を用いて荷重検出部12と触感呈示部13を共用して構成することができる。あるいは、タッチセンサ11は、抵抗の時間当たりの変化、あるいは静電容量の時間当たりの変化を検出できるため、荷重検出部12とタッチセンサ11を共用して構成することができる。

Claims (5)

  1.  押圧荷重に応じて複数段階の入力を受け付ける電子機器であって、
     被写体を撮像する撮像部と、
     押圧による入力の押圧荷重を検出する荷重検出部と、
     前記荷重検出部が、第1段階の入力を受け付ける荷重基準を満たす押圧荷重を検出すると、被写体に対して焦点を自動で調整するオートフォーカス処理を行い、前記荷重基準より高い第2段階の入力を受け付ける荷重基準を満たす押圧荷重を検出すると、静止撮像画像を取得するように制御する制御部と、を備え、
     前記制御部は、オートフォーカス処理を開始したときから被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了するときまでの間に、前記荷重検出部が、前記第2段階の入力を受け付ける荷重基準を満たす押圧荷重を検出した場合には、静止撮像画像を取得しないように制御することを特徴とする電子機器。
  2.  前記制御部は、被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了した際に、前記荷重検出部が検出している押圧荷重より高い荷重基準を、第2段階の入力を受け付ける荷重基準として設定するように制御することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子機器。
  3.  押圧荷重に応じて複数段階の入力を受け付ける電子機器であって、
     被写体を撮像する撮像部と、
     押圧による入力の押圧荷重を検出する荷重検出部と、
     前記荷重検出部が、第1段階の入力を受け付ける荷重基準を満たす押圧荷重を検出すると、被写体に対して焦点を自動で調整するオートフォーカス処理を行い、前記荷重基準より高い第2段階の入力を受け付ける荷重基準を満たす押圧荷重を検出すると、静止撮像画像を取得するように制御する制御部と、を備え、
     前記制御部は、オートフォーカス処理を開始したときから被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了するときまでの間、前記荷重検出部が、押圧荷重を検出しないように制御することを特徴とする電子機器。
  4.  前記制御部は、被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了した際に、前記荷重検出部が検出している押圧荷重より高い荷重基準を、第2段階の入力を受け付ける荷重基準として設定するように制御することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電子機器。
  5.  押圧荷重に応じて複数段階の入力を受け付ける電子機器であって、
     被写体を撮像する撮像部と、
     押圧による入力の押圧荷重を検出する荷重検出部と、
     前記荷重検出部が、入力を受け付ける荷重基準を満たす押圧荷重を検出すると、被写体に対して焦点を自動で調整するオートフォーカス処理を行うように前記撮像部を制御する制御部と、を備え、
     前記制御部は、オートフォーカス処理を開始したときから被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了するときまでの間、前記荷重検出部が、押圧荷重を検出しないように制御し、被写体に対する焦点の調整が完了した後には、前記荷重検出部が、単位時間当たりの所定荷重変化量を超える荷重変化量を検出すると、静止撮像画像を取得するように制御することを特徴とする電子機器。
