- the present invention relates to a connector to which a cable such as a wire harness is connected.
- a connector that accommodates an end portion of a cable provided with a connection terminal is filled with a filler in a housing portion that accommodates an end portion of a cable in a housing or is provided with a sealing material or the like, so that the inside of the housing portion is provided. Waterproofing is performed (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 to 6).
- the cable has a structure drawn from the housing portion of the connector housing. For this reason, there was a possibility that the cable pulled out from the housing portion may come into contact with the edge portion of the wall portion forming the housing portion and be damaged. In particular, when the filler and the sealing material in the housing portion are deteriorated and the cable is not sufficiently held, the cable is likely to move and the possibility of coming into contact with the edge portion of the wall portion of the housing portion increases. In addition, the cable may move until the filler is solidified, and may come into contact with the edge of the wall portion of the housing portion.
- the cable drawn from the connector housing portion vibrates and moves, so that damage due to the contact of the cable with the edge portion of the wall portion appears significantly.
- the present invention has been made in view of the above-described circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a connector capable of waterproofing while holding an end portion of a cable while preventing damage to the cable.
- the connector according to the present invention is characterized by the following (1) or (2).
