上記の各発明の差動制限機能付ディファレンシャルは、具体的には、図1に示した構成の差動制限機能付センターデファレンシャルとすることができる。
以下、具体的な実施例を用いて本発明を説明する。
本発明の実施例として、潤滑油(試料油A~W)を調製した。
試料油A~E,I~R,U~Wを、調製した後に、室温で1週間以上静置した。静置後、各試料油を目視で観察した。
試料油F,G,H,N,M,A,Eについて、31P-核磁気共鳴分析(Nuclear Magnetic Resonance:以下、NMRと略記)を実施した。分析装置としては、日本電子社製 ECA-500を用い、プロトンデカップリング条件でシングルパルス測定を行った。測定溶媒には、CDCl3(重クロロホルム)を用いた。ケミカルシフトの値は、PO4を基準(0ppm)とした。
試料油A,B,E,F,G,J,L,P,R,S,Uについて、フーリエ変換型赤外分光(FT-IR)分析を実施した。分析装置として、Thermo Nicolet社製のAvatar360を用い、光路長0.10mm、液体用KBr固定セルを用いて、積算回数32回でIRスペクトル測定を行った。また、添加剤単品のIRスペクトル測定も、同装置で一回反射型ATR法を用いて実施した。
モデル試料油aとして、上記の化6で示したジオレイルハイドロゲンフォスファイトが1.52mass%になるように、炭化水素系ベースオイルの試料油Sに配合したものを調製した。
試料油A,B,D,E,F,G,U,V,Wについて、フーリエ変換型赤外分光(FT-IR)分析を実施した。
各試料油の評価として、摩擦特性の評価を行った。
摩擦試験は、高千穂精機株式会社製リングオンブロック型摩擦試験装置を用いて行われた。この試験装置は、図32(a)に示したように、ブロックに荷重を付加し、リング側を回転させて、ブロックとリングを摩擦(摺動)させる摩擦試験を行う。潤滑油は、リング下部が浸され状態で回転することで、かき上げられ、摩擦面に潤滑油が供給される。
本発明の各試料油は、図1~3にその構成を示した差動制限機能付ディファレンシャルだけでなく、図60,61~62のそれぞれに構成を示した差動制限機能付ディファレンシャルに適用しても良い。
図60に示した差動制限機能付ディファレンシャル8は、1対の駆動軸81、82の一方または他方を中心として回転可能であるハウジング80を有している。ウォームギヤまたはヘリカルギヤとして形成されたサイドギヤ83、84は、二つの駆動軸の内側の端部にそれぞれ結合されている。ハウジング80、1対の駆動軸およびサイドギヤ83、84は、共通軸線を中心として回転可能である。
図61~62に示した差動制限機能付ディファレンシャル9は、ハウジング90の内部に、遊星ウオームギヤ機構91が支持されており、このウオームギヤ機構91は1対の駆動軸92,93をハウジング90に関して反対方向に回転し得るように相互に連結している。歯車機構91は、各駆動軸92,93に連結された1対のサイドギヤ920,930と、復数対のエレメントギヤ94~97とを有している。各エレメントギヤ94は、一方のサイドギヤ920と噛み合う部分940と、互いに噛み合う部分941とを有している。

- 前記潤滑油は、基油として炭化水素油を有し、
光路長0.05mm±0.005mmの液体用固定セルを用いた赤外分光分析による潤滑油の赤外スペクトルでの波数1740±20cm-1のピーク吸光度が1.5以下となっている請求項1記載の潤滑油。 - 31P-核磁気共鳴分析において、57±2ppmのピークが示される請求項1記載の潤滑油。
- チオリン酸ジエステル及び/又はチオリン酸ジエステルのアミン塩に由来するリン成分の含有量が、前記潤滑油の質量を100%としたときに、0.010%以上である請求項7記載の潤滑油。
- 前記亜リン酸ジエステル,前記亜リン酸モノエステル,前記亜リン酸ジエステルと前記亜リン酸モノエステルの合計,のいずれかが、前記潤滑油の質量を100%としたときに、1.0~5.0%で含まれる請求項9記載の潤滑油。
- 前記亜リン酸ジエステル,前記亜リン酸モノエステルの前記炭素数12~20の飽和もしくは不飽和の炭化水素基は、炭素数が18の不飽和炭化水素基である請求項9記載の潤滑油。
- 前記潤滑油の質量を100%としたときに、
リン成分の含有量が、0.20≦P≦0.50%となるように、酸性リン酸エステル,酸性チオリン酸エステルの少なくとも1種を有する請求項9記載の潤滑油。 - 前記酸性リン酸エステル、酸性チオリン酸エステルの少なくとも1種は、炭素数12~20の飽和もしくは不飽和の炭化水素基を有する脂肪族アミンとアミン塩を形成した状態で配合される請求項12記載の潤滑油。
- 前記潤滑油は、基油として炭化水素油を有し、
光路長0.05mm±0.005mmの液体用固定セルを用いた赤外分光分析による潤滑油の赤外スペクトルでの波数1740±20cm-1のピーク吸光度が1.5以下となっている請求項9記載の潤滑油。 - 31P-核磁気共鳴分析において、57±2ppmのピークが示される請求項9記載の潤滑油。
- チオリン酸ジエステル及び/又はチオリン酸ジエステルのアミン塩に由来するリン成分の含有量が、前記潤滑油の質量を100%としたときに、0.010%以上である請求項15記載の潤滑油。

前記脂肪族アミン,前記脂肪族アミンのエチレンオキサイド付加物,前記脂肪族アミンと前記脂肪族アミンのエチレンオキサイド付加物の合計,のいずれかが1.0~5.0%で含まれ、
前記亜リン酸ジエステル,前記亜リン酸モノエステル,前記亜リン酸ジエステルと前記亜リン酸モノエステルの合計,のいずれかが、前記潤滑油の質量を100%としたときに、1.0~5.0%で含まれる請求項17記載の潤滑油。 - 前記潤滑油の質量を100%としたときに、
リン成分の含有量が、0.20≦P≦0.50%となるように、酸性リン酸エステル,酸性チオリン酸エステルの少なくとも1種を有する請求項17記載の潤滑油。 - 前記酸性リン酸エステル、酸性チオリン酸エステルの少なくとも1種は、炭素数12~20の飽和もしくは不飽和の炭化水素基を有する脂肪族アミンとアミン塩を形成した状態で配合される請求項19記載の潤滑油。
- 前記潤滑油は、基油として炭化水素油を有し、
光路長0.05mm±0.005mmの液体用固定セルを用いた赤外分光分析による潤滑油の赤外スペクトルでの波数1740±20cm-1のピーク吸光度が1.5以下となっている請求項17記載の潤滑油。 - 31P-核磁気共鳴分析において、57±2ppmのピークが示される請求項17記載の潤滑油。
- チオリン酸ジエステル及び/又はチオリン酸ジエステルのアミン塩に由来するリン成分の含有量が、前記潤滑油の質量を100%としたときに、0.010%以上である請求項22記載の潤滑油。
- 前記亜リン酸ジエステル及び/又は前記亜リン酸モノエステルは、前記脂肪族アミンとアミン塩を形成した状態で配合される請求項24記載の潤滑油。
- 摩擦式駆動力伝達装置に用いられる潤滑油であって、
31P-核磁気共鳴分析において、57±2ppmのピークが示されることを特徴とする記載の潤滑油。 - チオリン酸ジエステル及び/又はチオリン酸ジエステルのアミン塩に由来するリン成分の含有量が、前記潤滑油の質量を100%としたときに、0.010%以上である請求項26記載の潤滑油。
- 前記潤滑油の質量を100%としたときに、
