Definitions
- the present invention relates to a fixing structure and method for fixing (fixing) a socket (fixing tool) to a terminal portion of a fiber reinforced plastic filament.
- FRP Fiber Reinforced Plastics
- fiber reinforced plastic composed of a composite material of fiber and plastic has high strength
- cables (ropes, rods) made using FRP are compared to PC steel stranded wires. It is lightweight and has excellent properties such as high corrosion resistance and non-magnetic properties.
- Carbon fibers, glass fibers, Kepla fibers, and the like are used as fiber materials used for FRP, and epoxy resins, polyamide resins, phenol resins, and the like are used as plastic materials used for FRP, respectively.
- the FRP cable is used as a tension material for prestressed concrete, for example.
- the FRP cable has high strength equivalent to that of PC steel stranded wire in the longitudinal direction, but is weak against local shearing force and surface scratches.
- thermosetting resin and the expansion agent take some time from filling to curing or expansion. Also, since strict temperature control is required during curing or expansion, dedicated equipment and space are required. It is difficult to fix a socket at the end of a cable at a construction site or the like, and it is necessary to fix in advance at a factory or the like.
- An object of the present invention is to enable a terminal socket to be quickly and reliably fixed to an end portion of a fiber reinforced plastic linear body while ensuring a relatively large fixing efficiency.
- Fiber reinforced plastic filaments are formed on the filaments by combining (mixing) fiber materials such as carbon fiber, glass fiber, and Kepla fiber with resin materials such as epoxy resin, polyamide resin, and phenol resin. It is a thing.
- the filament has a substantially uniform cross-sectional shape in the longitudinal direction, and its length is longer than its diameter. Wires include cables, ropes, rods, etc.
- the end fixing structure of the fiber reinforced plastic linear body according to the present invention is such that the end portion of the fiber reinforced plastic linear body is covered with a friction sheet with abrasive particles adhering to the front and back surfaces, and a metal sheet is further formed thereon.
- a blade net tube in which the strands of wire are braided is covered, and a portion where the friction sheet and the blade net tube are covered is sandwiched and fixed in a terminal socket by a wedge.
- the end portion of the fiber reinforced plastic filament is covered with a friction sheet having abrasive particles adhering to the front and back surfaces, and a metal element is further coated thereon.
- a blade net tube having a wire mesh is covered, and the portion where the friction sheet and the blade net tube are covered is sandwiched between wedges, and the wedges are held in the terminal socket.
- the end portion of the fiber reinforced plastic filament is wedged in the terminal socket.
- the terminal socket has a hollow shape corresponding to the wedge. The wedge in which the end portion of the fiber reinforced plastic filament is inserted is tightly pushed into the hollow of the terminal socket, and thereby the terminal socket is fixed (fixed) to the end portion of the fiber reinforced plastic filament.
- the friction sheet is covered on the end portion of the fiber reinforced plastic linear body to be wedged, and the blade net tube in which the metal wire is meshed is further covered thereon.
- the local shearing force on the fiber reinforced plastic filament is dispersed (buffered) by the friction sheet and the blade net tube.
- the fiber-reinforced plastic linear body is less likely to break at the terminal socket position (wedge position), and high fixing efficiency (tensile strength) can be secured.
- the end portion of the fiber reinforced plastic linear body is covered with the friction sheet with the abrasive particles attached to the front and back surfaces, so that even if it is pulled strongly in the longitudinal direction, the fiber is caused by the frictional force.
- the terminal socket is fixed to the end portion of the fiber reinforced plastic linear body by the wedge stopper, the temperature control is not required, and the fiber reinforcement is quickly and easily performed at the site (construction site, etc.).
- the terminal socket can be fixed to the end portion of the plastic linear body. Since it is not necessary to fix the terminal socket in advance (in a factory or the like) at the end portion of the fiber reinforced plastic filament, packing and transportation can be simplified.
- the fixed position of the terminal socket can also be changed freely, so it is possible to cope with sudden specification changes on site.
- abrasive particles adhere to at least the inner peripheral surface of the blade net tube.
- both the friction sheet and the blade net tube have a longer length in the longitudinal direction than the length of the wedge in the longitudinal direction.
- the blade net tube is a braided strand formed by twisting a plurality of metal strands. Since it is easily deformed when pressure is applied to the wedge, the buffering action can be increased. In addition, the frictional force increases due to the unevenness between the metal wires and between the strands.

- CFRP cable 1 carbon fiber reinforced plastic
- FIG. 2 The details of the terminal fixing structure shown in FIG. 1 will be clarified by explaining the manufacturing process, so that the manufacturing process of the terminal fixing structure shown in FIG. 1 will be described below with reference to FIGS. Will be explained.
- CFRP carbon fiber reinforced plastic
- CFRP cable 1 is prepared, and a friction sheet 2 is placed near the end thereof.
- the CFRP cable 1 is formed by twisting strands having a circular cross section made of a composite material of carbon fiber and epoxy resin.
- the friction sheet 2 placed near the end of the CFRP cable 1 has a large number of abrasive particles 2a (alumina, silicon carbide, etc.) adhered to the front and back surfaces of a sheet-like synthetic fiber (or finely woven wire mesh) with an adhesive or the like. (Applied) and flexible. In this embodiment, the abrasive particles 2a are used to enhance the frictional force.
- the friction sheet 2 is curved along the outer periphery of the CFRP cable 1.
- the length of the friction sheet 2 is longer than the length in the longitudinal direction of the wedge 5 described later, and its width is slightly shorter than the semicircular cross section of the CFRP cable 1.
- a pair of friction sheets 2 are placed on the outer peripheral surface of the CFRP cable 1 so as to wrap the outer peripheral surface of the end portion of the CFRP cable 1.
- two (or three) friction sheets 2 are overlapped on two layers (three layers), and this is put on the outer peripheral surface of the CFRP cable 1.
- One end or both ends of the friction sheet 2 may be simply fixed near the end of the CFRP cable 1 using an adhesive tape or the like.
- a pair of friction sheets 2 may be covered so as to sandwich the CFRP cable 1, or instead, the friction sheet 2 may be spirally wound around the CFRP cable 1.
- the blade net tube 3 is further covered on the end portion of the CFRP cable 1 covered with the friction sheet 2.
- the blade net tube 3 shown in FIG. 3 is composed of two strands 3a formed by twisting a plurality of wire wires made of steel or iron having a Vickers hardness of about 100 to 300 and braided into a cylindrical shape. It has a cavity in the longitudinal direction and has elasticity.
- the length of the blade net tube 3 is also longer than the length of the wedge 5 to be described later, like the friction sheet 2.
- the length of the blade net tube 3 may be shorter or longer than the length of the friction sheet 2. Since the blade net tube 3 has elasticity, the diameter of the cavity increases when both ends thereof are gripped and brought close to each other.
- the terminal socket 4 is made of metal (for example, made of stainless steel or iron), has an outer shape that is cylindrical, and has a substantially conical hollow 4a inside.
- the terminal portion of the CFRP cable 1 with the blade net tube 3 covered in the hollow 4a of the terminal socket 4 is inserted from the small opening 4b side of the terminal socket 4 and is exited from the large opening 4c side.
- a wedge 5 is attached to the terminal portion of the CFRP cable 1 that has come out of the terminal socket 4.
- the wedge 5 is composed of an upper half body 5a and a lower half body 5b having the same shape, and when the upper half body 5a and the lower half body 5b are combined, a substantially conical outer shape is obtained.
- the substantially conical outer shape of the wedge 5 formed by combining the upper half 5a and the lower half 5b has substantially the same shape as the generally conical hollow 4a of the terminal socket 4.
- a semicylindrical depression 5c that is shallow in the longitudinal direction is formed (see FIG. 1).
- a portion of the blade net tube 3 is placed in the recess 5c of the upper half 5a and the lower half 5b. Since the recess 5c is shallow, the end portion of the CFRP cable 1 (the portion where the blade net tube 3 is located) does not entirely enter the recess 5c, and the upper half 5a is sandwiched between the end portions of the CFRP cable 1. There is a gap in the longitudinal direction between the lower half body 5b and the lower half body 5b. Referring to FIG.
- the wedge 5 is pushed into the hollow 4 a of the terminal socket 4 from the large opening side of the terminal socket 4.
- FIG. 6 when the wedge 5 is pushed into the terminal socket 4 more strongly, the upper half 5 a and the lower half 5 b are pressed from the periphery by the inner wall of the terminal socket 4 and tightened.
- the terminal socket 4 is fixed to the end portion of the CFRP cable 1 via the wedge 5 (further, the blade net tube 3 and the friction sheet 2 described above) (FIG. 1).
- Table 1 shows the test results of the evaluation tests performed on each of the six terminal fixing structures (test bodies 1 to 6) having different structures.
- the CFRP cable 1 As the CFRP cable 1, a strand of about 4.2 mm in diameter made of a composite material of carbon fiber and an epoxy resin is used as a 1 ⁇ 7 structure (seven strands are formed around one strand. The one having a diameter of about 12.5 mm was used. The guaranteed breaking load of this CFRP cable 1 was 184 kN, and the actual breaking load was 200 kN.
- the terminal socket 4 is fixed to one end of the CFRP cable 1 having a predetermined length by the terminal fixing structure using the wedge 5 described above, and the other end is connected to the terminal socket by a terminal fixing structure using a thermosetting resin. Fixed.
- the terminal sockets at both ends were set in a tensile tester, and the terminal socket having a terminal fixing structure using a thermosetting resin was pulled at a predetermined tensile speed.
- each test object was tested multiple times, and the fixing efficiency (%) was calculated for each of the multiple tests.
- Table 1 shows the minimum value (Min) and the maximum value (Max) of the fixing efficiency (%) obtained in a plurality of tests.
- the fixing efficiency is calculated by the following equation.
- the friction sheet 2 is required to obtain high fixing efficiency (strong tensile strength).
- the CFRP cable 1 is covered with the friction sheet 2 and the blade net tube 3 is covered with an aluminum tube instead of the CFRP cable 1
- the CFRP cable 1 is connected to the terminal socket during the tensile test. It was possible to obtain only a small fixing efficiency. It can be seen that the blade net tube 3 is also required to obtain high fixing efficiency.
- the CFRP cable 1 is pulled out from the terminal socket 4 in the tensile test. There was no.
- the fixing efficiency is calculated using the load at the time when the CFRP cable 1 is broken. Comparing the test results of the DUT 2 and DUT 3, the difference in the strand configuration (1 ⁇ 7 configuration, 3 ⁇ 7 configuration) constituting the blade net tube 3 does not significantly affect the fixing efficiency. It was confirmed. On the other hand, referring to the test results of the device under test 1 and the device under test 4, the wire diameter of the wire wire constituting the blade net tube 3 is reduced to reduce the diameter of the strand 3a (device under test). It was confirmed that 1) or the diameter of the strand 3a was increased by increasing the wire diameter of the wire element (test object 4), which slightly affected the fixing efficiency.
- the blade net is formed by covering the friction sheet 2 coated with the abrasive particles 2a on the end portion of the CFRP cable 1, and further meshing the strands 3a thereon.
- a large number of abrasive particles alumina, silicon carbide, etc.
- the end portion of the CFRP cable 1 is more difficult to be removed from the terminal socket 4.
- a large number of abrasive particles 2 a may be bonded (applied) not only to the inner peripheral surface of the blade net tube 3 but also to the outer peripheral surface.

Abstract
