- the quenching liquid since the quenching liquid is discharged from the upper part, the quenching liquid whose temperature has risen can be appropriately discharged, and a low-temperature quenching liquid can be introduced from the lower part, Cooling efficiency can be increased. Further, by forming such a flow of quenching liquid, even if the diameter of the quenching hole 134 for introducing the quenching liquid into the sealing groove 133 is narrow, the flow of the quenching liquid generated in the sealing groove 133 The flow of the quenching liquid can be appropriately maintained, and effects such as cooling can be appropriately maintained.
- the double seal surface 131 and the quenching water seal surface 132, the sealing groove 133, and the quenching hole 134 are formed in the fixed seal ring. May be formed in the rotary seal ring 230.
- seal cover 110 the fixed seal ring 130, the seal collar 210, or the rotary seal ring 230 may be arbitrarily changed.
- the present invention can be used as a shaft seal of an arbitrary apparatus having a rotary shaft such as a centrifugal pump or a stirrer.
