- the pressure is rapidly reduced.
- the pressurization speed is preferably set within a predetermined range in which a specified measurement accuracy can be obtained.
- the depressurization rate is preferably set within a predetermined range in which a specified measurement accuracy can be obtained.
- the predetermined range is represented by a slope corresponding to a pressure change at the time of pressurization between the slope of the straight line L2 and the slope of the straight line L1.
- the predetermined range is represented by a slope corresponding to a pressure change at the time of pressure reduction from the slope of the straight line L4 to the slope of the straight line L3.
- Module 1 calculates the blood pressure value based on the sensor signal in the ST1 period, which is the pressurization period, when the sphygmomanometer 2 is a pressurization measurement type.
- the blood pressure value is calculated based on the sensor signal in the ST4 period, which is the decompression period. Therefore, the determination unit 103 determines whether or not it is a pressurization period from the value input from the input unit 101 and the value input from the input unit 101 immediately before and stored in the pressure storage unit 102, or It is determined whether it is a decompression period.
- the module 1 is the ST1 period which is a pressurization period when the sphygmomanometer 2 is a pressurization measurement type, and the pressurization speed is from the slope of the straight line L2 to the slope of the straight line L1.

Or whether the decompression period is suitable for blood pressure measurement.

- the CPU 11 reads out and executes a control program stored in the memory 15 in accordance with an operation signal from the operation unit 4 and exhibits each function shown in FIG.
- the operation of the module 1 shown in FIG. 7 is started when the switch 41 is pressed and power is supplied from the power source 19 to the CPU 11.
- the power source 19 is in a low power state in which low power is supplied to the CPU 11, and in this low power state, the CPU 11 changes the internal pressure in the air passage 1 ⁇ / b> C from the pressure sensor 13 by a predetermined amount (for example, it may be determined that the power supply is turned on and the starting power is supplied to the power supply 19 when it is detected. Then, the operation of the module 1 shown in FIG. 7 may be started when the activation power is supplied.
- step S101 the pressure in air bag 51, which is a closed space connected by sandwiching air tubes 10A and 10B, is measured by pressure sensor 13, and a sensor signal is input to input unit 101.
- the determination unit 103 compares the value represented by the sensor signal input in step S101 with the value measured immediately before stored in the pressure storage unit 102, so that the current time is under pressure, that is, FIG. 6A. It is determined whether or not this is the ST1 period.
- determination unit 103 further includes a threshold value that is the slope of straight lines L1 and L2 stored in threshold value storage unit 105, a value represented by the sensor signal input in step S101, and By comparing with the slope obtained from the value measured immediately before stored in the pressure storage unit 102, the pressure is being applied and the pressure speed is the slope of the straight line L1 from the slope of the straight line L2. It is determined whether or not pressurization is being performed at a pressurization speed suitable for blood pressure measurement. Therefore, when the sphygmomanometer 2 is a pressurization measurement type, in step S103 of FIG. 7, the subsequent operation branches depending on the determination result of whether or not pressurization is being performed.
- step S101 determines that the time point measured in step S101 is during pressurization, or determines that pressurization is being performed and the pressurization speed is a pressurization speed suitable for blood pressure measurement. If so (YES in step S103), in step S105, the calculation unit 104 calculates a blood pressure value from the measurement value in step S101.
- steps S101 to S105 are repeated until the blood pressure calculation is completed by the calculation in step S105, that is, until the maximum blood pressure and the minimum blood pressure are calculated.
- the storage unit 108 determines the maximum blood pressure obtained in step S105.
- a process for storing a value representing the minimum blood pressure as a measurement result in a predetermined area of the memory 16 is executed, and the measurement result is stored.
- step S111 the display processing unit 107 generates data for causing the display unit 14 to display values representing the systolic blood pressure and the diastolic blood pressure obtained in step S105 as measurement results, and causes the display unit 14 to display the data.
- step S111 instead of (or in addition to) the display, a process of outputting the measurement result to another device (for example, a personal computer) connected from the I / F 17 may be performed. The following description is also the same. Thereafter, the CPU 11 ends the series of operations.
- step S101 If the time point measured in step S101 is not during pressurization, or if the pressurization speed is not a pressurization speed suitable for blood pressure measurement even during pressurization (NO in step S103), the CPU 11 does not change.
- a series of operations may be terminated, or as shown in FIG. 7, after the display processing unit 107 performs error display on the display unit 14 using display data stored in advance in step S111, A series of operations may be terminated.
- the determination unit 103 compares the value represented by the sensor signal input in step S101 with the value measured immediately before stored in the pressure storage unit 102, so that the current time is under decompression. That is, it is determined whether or not it is the ST4 period of FIG. 6B.
- determination unit 103 further includes a threshold value that is the slope of the straight lines L3 and L4 stored in threshold value storage unit 105, a value represented by the sensor signal input in step S101, and By comparing the inclination obtained from the value measured immediately before stored in the pressure storage unit 102, the pressure is being reduced and the pressure reduction speed is from the slope of the straight line L4 to the slope of the straight line L3. It is determined whether or not the pressure is reduced at a pressure reduction rate suitable for blood pressure measurement. Therefore, when the sphygmomanometer 2 is a decompression measurement type, the subsequent operation branches in step S103 of FIG.
- step S101 determines that the time point measured in step S101 is under reduced pressure, or when it is under reduced pressure and the reduced pressure rate is a reduced pressure rate suitable for blood pressure measurement. After that (YES in step S103), the blood pressure value is calculated and stored / displayed as described above.
- the blood pressure is calculated from the sensor signal during a period when the measurement operation is not performed by the sphygmomanometer 2, the blood pressure after the measurement is stopped by the sphygmomanometer 2,
- the blood pressure is calculated from the sensor signal of the pressurization period (ST3 period in FIG. 6B) when the pressurization measurement type module 1 is connected to the decompression measurement type sphygmomanometer by mistake.
- the blood pressure is calculated from the sensor signal in the decompression period (ST2 period in FIG. 6A), and an appropriate value is not automatically calculated.
- the blood pressure can be measured with high accuracy.
- the module 1 when the module 1 performs the above-described operation, when the blood pressure is measured by the sphygmomanometer 2, the blood pressure is also measured in the module 1 and the measurement result is stored in a predetermined area of the memory 16. Therefore, even if the sphygmomanometer 2 does not have a memory function, the module 1 can store it. Further, the above-described arithmetic program is stored in the memory 15 of the module 1. Therefore, even if the sphygmomanometer 2 does not have a calculation function, the module 1 can perform various calculations using the measurement results stored in the memory 16.
- the function of the module 1 is used for the measurement result by connecting the module 1 between the sphygmomanometer 2 and the cuff 5 with the air tubes 10A and 10B. Can do. Therefore, it is possible to obtain a sphygmomanometer having these functions by preparing the module 1 without preparing a new sphygmomanometer having a high function including the function of the module 1 instead of the sphygmomanometer 2. it can. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the module 1 does not include a mechanism for controlling the internal pressure with respect to the sphygmomanometer. Therefore, the module 1 is smaller and lighter than the sphygmomanometer 2 and is easy to handle for the user. Further, since these mechanisms are not included, a high function can be obtained at a lower price than when a new blood pressure monitor is prepared.
- the module 1 performs different operations depending on whether the sphygmomanometer 2 is a pressurization measurement type or a decompression measurement type. Therefore, it is necessary to connect the sphygmomanometer 2 suitable for one of the measurement methods in advance to the module 1 or specify a measurement method of the sphygmomanometer 2 by providing a switch (not shown). . In the latter case, when the operation of FIG. 7 is started, first, the designation of the measurement method of the sphygmomanometer 2 is received, and the control program corresponding to the reading is read, so that the operation for the pressurization measurement type (FIG. 7) or the decompression measurement is performed. Branch to the action for the expression.
- FIG. 8 is used as an example of the first modification of the operation of the module 1, in which the measurement method of the sphygmomanometer 2 is determined from the measured pressure and the operation is automatically branched. Will be explained.
- the operation of FIG. 8 is also realized by the CPU 11 reading and executing the control program stored in the memory 15 in accordance with the operation signal from the operation unit 4 to exhibit each function shown in FIG.
- the pressure in air bag 51 which is a closed space connected with air tubes 10 ⁇ / b> A and 10 ⁇ / b> B, is measured by pressure sensor 13 in step S ⁇ b> 201, and a sensor signal is input to input unit 101.
- the determination unit 103 compares the value represented by the sensor signal input in step S201 with the value measured immediately before stored in the pressure storage unit 102, so that the present time is added by the pressurization measurement formula. Determine if pressure is being applied.
- the determination unit 103 determines whether or not pressurization is performed from the value represented by the sensor signal input in step S201 and the value measured immediately before stored in the pressure storage unit 102, and further The threshold value which is the slope of the straight lines L1 and L2 stored in the threshold value storage unit 105, the value represented by the sensor signal input in step S201, and the value stored immediately before in the pressure storage unit 102 By comparing with the slope obtained from the measured value, it is determined whether or not the pressurization speed is being pressurized at a pressurization speed suitable for blood pressure measurement from the slope of the straight line L2 to the slope of the straight line L1. to decide.
- step S203 the determination unit 103 calculates a blood pressure value from the measurement value in step S201, and the calculation unit 104 calculates the maximum blood pressure and the minimum blood pressure. The above operation is repeated until. Thereafter, similar to the operation of FIG. 7, the measurement result is stored and displayed (steps S209 and S211).
- step S201 determines in step S201. It is determined whether the pressure is being reduced from the value represented by the input sensor signal and the value measured immediately before stored in the pressure storage unit 102. If it is determined that the pressure is not reduced, that is, a pressure period that is not a pressure measurement type pressurization period (eg, ST3 period in FIG. 6B) (NO in step S212), the determination is made until the pressure is reduced.
- the unit 103 repeats the above determination based on the input value.
- the CPU 11 repeats this operation for a predetermined time (for example, a time required for one blood pressure measurement operation, etc.), and when that time has elapsed (YES in step S213), the CPU 11 is forcibly executed. End the operation.
- the determination unit 103 further indicates the slopes of the straight lines L3 and L4 stored in the threshold value storage unit 105. By comparing the threshold value with the slope obtained from the value represented by the sensor signal input in step S201 and the value measured immediately before stored in the pressure storage unit 102, the pressure is being reduced, and Then, it is determined whether or not the decompression speed is at a decompression speed suitable for blood pressure measurement in which the decompression speed is from the slope of the straight line L4 to the slope of the straight line L3.
- step S215 the calculation unit 104 calculates a blood pressure value from the measurement value in step S201, and the calculation unit 104 calculates the maximum blood pressure and the minimum blood pressure. The above operation is repeated until. Thereafter, similar to the operation of FIG. 7, the measurement result is stored and displayed (steps S219 and S211).
- step S201 Even if the time point measured in step S201 is during pressurization, if a specified time has elapsed without changing to a depressurization without applying a pressurization speed suitable for blood pressure measurement by the pressurization measurement formula (NO in step S203, If NO in step S212 and NO in step S213) or if the pressure reduction rate is not suitable for blood pressure measurement using the pressure reduction measurement formula even during decompression (NO in step S203, YES in step S212, and NO in step S214), the CPU 11 A series of operations may be terminated as they are, or after the display processing unit 107 performs error display on the display unit 14 using display data stored in advance in step S211 as shown in FIG. The series of operations may be terminated.
- the sphygmomanometer 2 can automatically determine and perform a suitable operation regardless of whether the sphygmomanometer 2 is a pressurization measurement type or a decompression measurement type. Blood pressure can be measured. Therefore, the user does not need to use the module 1 properly according to the measurement method of the sphygmomanometer 2. In addition, the user does not need to perform an operation of determining and indicating which measurement method the sphygmomanometer 2 is in. Further, according to the above determination, the blood pressure is calculated from the sensor signal during the pressurization period of the decompression measurement formula (ST3 period of FIG.
- Module 2 A method of measuring the blood pressure of a plurality of subjects using the sphygmomanometer 2 and storing the measurement results for each subject can be considered.
- the module 1 can realize the function.

Abstract
