- the process of S22 ends, the process proceeds to a type comparison process (S24).
- the process of S24 is executed by the priority calculation unit 31, and the service provided by the roadside support apparatus 3 is compared with the service provided by the vehicle equipment based on the support information 33 and the equipment information 26 received in the process of S22. It is processing to do.
- the priority calculation unit 31 determines the service type based on the support information 33.
- the priority calculation unit 31 includes a table storing a service type corresponding to the support information 33, and determines a service type using the support information 33 based on the table. For example, when the support information 33 is temporary stop information, the priority calculation unit 31 determines that the service type is “information provision” with reference to the table, and the service content (detailed function) is “temporary”. It is determined that the notification is “stop notification”.
- the priority calculation unit 31 compares the service type or content provided by the support information 33 with the service type or content stored in the equipment information 26, and provides both services (or provided by the service). It is determined whether or not the functions are similar (S26). For example, when the result provided by one service and the result provided by the other service are the same or overlap, the priority calculation unit 31 indicates that both services (or functions provided by the service) are similar. judge. For example, as an example, it is assumed that the support information 33 is temporary stop information, the vehicle 2 is equipped with a navigation system, and the navigation system has a temporary stop guidance function.
- the service using the support information 33 is “notification of suspension, vehicle control related to suspension”, and the service provided by the equipment (navigation system) specified by the equipment information 26 Since it is “pause guidance”, it is determined that the functions provided by both services are similar.
- the support information 33 is obstacle information and the vehicle 2 is equipped with a PCS.
- the priority calculation unit 31 uses the support information 33 as “vehicle control corresponding to obstacle notification and collision”, and the service provided by the equipment (PCS) specified by the equipment information 26 is “ Since the collision unavoidable determination, occupant protection, and collision speed reduction ”, it is determined that the functions of both services are similar.
- the support information 33 is obstacle information
- the vehicle 2 is equipped with a navigation system, and the navigation system has a temporary stop guidance function.
- the service using the support information 33 is “vehicle control corresponding to obstacle notification and collision”, and the service provided by the equipment is “pause guidance”. It is determined that the functions are not similar.
- the priority calculation unit 31 compares the service type or function using the support information 33 with the equipment information 26 to determine whether there is a similar function. In the process of S26, when the service using the support information 33 and the service provided by the equipment shown in the equipment information 26 are similar, that is, when it is determined that both services have similar functions, the priority information transmission process (S28).
- the process of S28 is a process executed by the priority calculation unit 31 and the device-side transmission unit 32 to transmit the support information 33 to the vehicle 2.
- the priority calculation unit 31 calculates the priority of a service having a similar function lower than the priority of other services based on the result determined in the process of S26. For example, it is assumed that the support information 33 includes temporary stop information and the vehicle 2 is equipped with a temporary stop guide function of the navigation system. In this case, the priority calculation unit 31 calculates the priority of the service using the suspension information that is the support information 33 lower than the priority of other services. Then, the device-side transmission unit 32 transmits support information 33 to the vehicle 2 based on the calculated priority.
- the device-side transmission unit 32 transmits support information 33 other than the support information 33 to the vehicle 2 without transmitting support information 33 used for services related to similar functions.
- the transmission order of the support information 33 used for the service related to the similar function is transmitted to the vehicle 2 by lowering the transmission order of the other support information 33 or reducing the information amount. That is, the apparatus-side transmission unit 32 preferentially transmits support information 33 other than the temporary stop information among the support information 33.
- the process of S26 when it is determined that the service function using the support information 33 is not similar to the service function based on the equipment shown in the equipment information 26, the process proceeds to the information transmission process (S30).
- the process of S ⁇ b> 30 is a process that is executed by the apparatus-side transmitting unit 32 and transmits all support information 33 to the vehicle 2.
- the control process shown in FIG. 4 ends.
- the priority calculation unit 31 compares the detectable information 27 with the supportable information 33 that can be provided in the processes of S24 and S26, and both services If the support contents overlap, the priority of the service using the support information 33 that overlaps with the detectable information 27 may be calculated lower than the priority of the other services. .
- the roadside support apparatus 3 receives the equipment information 26 from the vehicle 2, and determines the service type unnecessary for the vehicle 2 based on the received equipment information 26.
- Support information 33 relating to the service type is preferentially transmitted to the vehicle 2.
- the detectable information 27 is received from the vehicle 2, and the support information 33 that does not overlap with the detectable information 27 is preferentially transmitted to the vehicle 2. Therefore, since the amount of data transmitted to the vehicle 2 can be reduced, the transmission processing speed and the communication speed can be improved. Further, the amount of data received by the vehicle 2 affects the reception time.
